(Galatians 6:2)

Every day we are so busy with our daily lives. We have our calendars set. Some are so organized that they can tell you from minute to minute each day where they will be and what they will be doing. That is good. We should be busy, and we should be organized. But did you know that somewhere in that busy schedule, you need to make some room because God has something for you to do for Him?

First of all, never forget why we are here. God created us to serve and glorify Him with our lives. If you start from that fact, then you have to realize, whatever God wants us to do for Him has to take priority over everything else. You see, God has blessed you with talents and gifts to use for His glory.

Most of the time, the job He has for us is to simply be a light in the darkness of this world. That means living a life that is pleasing and acceptable to Him and a living testimony of your faith in God to those you are around each day. Each day He brings people across your path that need a smile, a word of encouragement, someone to take a few minutes to let them know they aren’t alone. They didn’t come to you by accident, God sent them and expects you to show them His love.

We all have many problems of our own to deal with. Some are more severe than others. That is a fact of life in this sin-filled world and will never change until HE returns. The Bible teaches us clearly that if we are about His business, He will be about ours. Trust me, God can deal with your problems much better than you can.

So, why not let Him use you today, and each day to be His living witness to those He brings your way of how real the Lord is. You will not even begin to understand the blessings that flow in your life when you are fulfilling your ultimate purpose of serving Him, and those problems you left in God’s hands somehow seem to get handled.

I love you, care about you, and am praying for you today to really pay attention to the last several messages I have written. It is no accident they are about serving, witnessing, and fulfilling our God-given purpose. He loves you, and the quickest way to know the fullness of His love and blessings is to obediently follow Him.

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller
