What you Believe does Matter . . . FOR ETERNITY

(John 3:16-18)

What you believe does matter . . . FOR ETERNITY!!! In all of the intense media coverage after the death of pop superstar Michael Jackson, the one thing that has driven me crazy has been hearing over and over, often by high-profile Christians, that Michael is now at peace in Heaven. Really? I hear this same thing whenever a famous person dies, regardless of what they believed during their life, as well as from people when a family member or close friend dies, again, regardless of what they believed during their life.

If this is true, then what is the use of the Gospel? If this is true, why should anyone waste their time and effort telling people about Jesus? If this is true, then the death of Jesus on the cross was a meaningless exercise, His resurrection didn’t need to occur, and people can believe whatever they want during this life and make it to Heaven. THAT MY FRIEND IS THE UNIVERSALISTIC LIE FROM HELL!!!

The fact is God made only ONE plan of salvation. There is only ONE way to everlasting life and that is faith in Jesus Christ, the Jesus Christ of the Bible. There are NOT many roads that lead to God, only one, the Jesus road!!! You can’t believe whatever you want and die and end up in Heaven. That is a lie from satan that is leading millions of souls to the flames of hell for all eternity. WHAT YOU BELIEVE DOES MATTER!!!

It is arguable that Michael Jackson was the most recognized person on the planet. Despite his vast fame and material possessions, Michael was bankrupt in the things that really matter in life, joy, peace, contentment, HOPE! Those things only come through having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and living according to God’s Word.

After his child molestation trial concluded, on June 17, 2005 I wrote these words, “Even though he has been acquitted of the charges brought against him, the moment he dies he will stand before The Judge, God Himself. At that moment, if he dies without Christ he will be standing all alone. There will be no high-priced defense attorney, no family, no fans, only God who will judge him for his sins and cast him into everlasting darkness. At that moment, if he has accepted Christ as his Savior by faith, he won’t be standing alone. Next to him will be the ultimate defense attorney, JESUS CHRIST, who will tell The Judge that his sins have been paid for and Michael Jackson will be ushered into God’s presence for all eternity.”

Sadly, Michael grew up in the Jehovah’s Witnesses cult. This is the cult born out of the depraved mind of Charles Taze Russell and denies the very deity of Christ. You can go to Google and type in “cults Jehovah’s Witnesses” and it will give you many websites to document their false theology. However, Michael has not only followed the false theology of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, he made the choice to live his life in rebellion to God and His Word and follow all kinds of false religions and teachings.

During his 2005 trial for child molestation, instead of turning to Christ for strength he turned to a cult I have exposed and talked about, Kaballah which was popularized by singer Madonna, signified by the “red string” bracelet he wore throughout the trial. He had during his life several high-profile spiritual advisors, Orthodox Jew Rabbi Shmuley Boteach and New Age tool charlatan Deepak Chopra, a tool of satan I have warned you about in past Devotionals. Jackson was also heavily influenced by several of his brothers who are deep in the false religion of Islam. Clearly Michael Jackson was a man lost and searching.

I know it makes people feel better when a famous person or someone they know dies, if they think that they are in Heaven. This is why I have literally given my life 24/7/365 these past 20 years for the Gospel, because the FACT is, those who die without Jesus will not be in Heaven but in the flames of hell for all eternity. What you believe matters, and based on what he believed, Michael Jackson is not in Heaven but in eternal torment and punishment for his sins.

I love you and care about you so much. I realize many people will point out all of the great humanitarian deeds Jackson did during his life, the multi millions he has given to charity and those are wonderful acts that should be commended. But we can’t work or buy our way into Heaven. No amount of money or good works saves you, only faith in Christ and God’s Grace (Ephesians 2:8,9).

The fact is, Michael Jackson like all men, is born into this life with sin, in
addition to those sins he has committed during his life, and it is that sin that separates him from a Holy God. The moment he died he stood before God and the number of records he sold, the number of people who saw him perform, and all of his good deeds didn’t mean anything. The ONLY thing that mattered was
the he rejected the Jesus of the Bible by faith as his Lord and Savior.

That is all that will matter when you take your last breath my friend. If you have never made the commitment to ask Christ into your heart and life by faith, let me tell you that the most important decision you will make in this life is not who you will marry, or where you will live, or what kind of job you will have. The most important decision you will make in this life is to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. God’s desire is that none be lost, that all come to repentance. He is speaking to you today. The Bible says that TODAY is the day of salvation.

I would invite you to go to, http://www.liveprayer.com/bdy_salvatn.html. Pray to ask God to open your heart, read the words, watch the short video, pray the prayer, and accept God’s free gift to you today. WHAT YOU BELIEVE MATTERS . . . FOR ALL ETERNITY!!!

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller

Governor Sanford and the Sin of Adultery

(Exodus 20:14)

Governor Sanford and the sin of adultery. Word came last week that South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford had committed adultery. Certainly not a new story, just a very sad old story where EVERYONE involved gets terribly hurt. Let me first speak directly to Governor Sanford’s act of adultery. While he now becomes an easy target, I deal daily with men and women who love the Lord, are saved, and have allowed this sin in their lives. Satan is an equal opportunity destroyer.

Rather than joining the masses slamming Governor Sanford, use that effort to pray for him instead. Today Governor Sanford, tomorrow the wonderful pastor down the street, or perhaps YOU! Trust me, I am not excusing in anyway this man’s failure. Like with all sin, he will pay a HUGE price when all is said and done. I am simply saying that we all fail God at times, we can be pillars of faith one day and a pool of Jell-O the next if we don’t do all the things we must do each day to stay close to the Lord and fight the temptations of sin that come our way each day.

I pray for his wife today, and for the Governor, and for the healing and restoration of their marriage. It takes TWO for a marriage to be healed and restored. The offended spouse must find God’s strength to forgive, and the offending spouse must truly repent and work hard to regain the broken trust. What a great testimony of God’s grace and mercy for this marriage to survive.

God’s Holy Institution has been under assault for years. First by the incredibly high divorce rate, as marriage is now looked at as little more than a legal date, and now with the attempts to redefine marriage to allow men to marry men and women to marry women. The restoration of this marriage would be a great testament to God’s Holy Institution under assault, so please join me and pray for this marriage to be restored for God’s glory!

Early in my marriage ( 20 yrs ago), when I was not walking with the Lord, I was involved in several adulterous affairs. I thank God daily for His love and mercy, for His forgiveness. I thank God daily for my wife and her commitment to our marriage and unconditional love that allowed her to forgive me. I confess this to you today so those who read this will know that I understand this subject from personal experience.

Adultery is simply an act of gross selfishness. There is NO excuse for it, no way to even try and justify it. It is an act of total rebellion towards God. It is sin, and trust me my friend, God can not, and will not bless sin. When you commit this act, you are sinning against God, your spouse, yourself, and you are contributing to the sin of the other person. There are NO winners in an adulterous situation. EVERYONE LOSES. For whatever moments of pleasure there are, you pay an incredibly high price. So why are so many involved in this activity?

The reasons for committing adultery are endless. All of them added up together still aren’t justification for this blatant act of disobedience to God. Do you realize the time and effort that it takes to be involved in an adulterous relationship, if that same time and effort were put towards your spouse, it would do wonders for your marriage? If you took all of the time of planning it takes to be together with that other person, put forth the same energy you do to please that other person, was as kind, considerate, and affectionate as you are with that other person with your spouse…how much better your marriage would be??? Do you realize that when you are involved in an adulterous relationship how much communication there is with the other person? If you put even half of that communication in your marriage it would be dramatically better!!!

Here is reality my friend. There is no future with a person you are involved in an adulterous relationship with. It will never work out, if for no other reason, God is never going to bless such a union, rooted in such sin Whatever problems exist in your marriage that even cause you to consider committing adultery are fixable with the effort of both spouses and God’s involvement. For whatever reason there may have been, you chose to commit to marry that person, now you need to make it work.

For those who are yet not married, maybe now you can see why it is SO IMPORTANT to not rush into marriage. To stay pure so you aren’t forced into marriage, to be equally yoked so there is spiritual harmony and communication in a marriage. Most problems stem from the marriage starting on a bad foundation. Marriage is SERIOUS.

However, if you find yourself in a marriage that was started on a bad foundation, Jesus Christ will help you rebuild that foundation on the Word of God. But you have to be willing to put forth the effort. Trust me, you may think things will be better in a new relationship, but ultimately, after a period of time, there will be problems. So don’t compound them by fighting against God. That is a battle you will lose every time.

I love you and care about you so much. I know many of you are hurting today. For those who are in pain today because your spouse has cheated on you, let me encourage you. You are NOT responsible for his/her actions. Your spouse has the same free will that you have. Your most effective weapon is to pray for them, and commit them to God since only He can change their heart.

My wife learned how to really trust God 100% during that period in our life many years ago. It will help you to make your faith real. The Lord will help you overcome the pain and hurt, and actually be able to forgive your spouse and move forward in your relationship. For those who are currently involved in an adulterous relationship, let me challenge you. STOP TODAY!!!

I know that it will be difficult, but it is the first step to getting your relationship with God back, and your life back. Anyone who is honest, knows that life becomes almost not worth living under those conditions. God will always help you when you are trying to follow His way. Whatever problems that exist in your marriage, adultery is not the answer. Honest, open communication with your spouse; allowing God to be an active part of your life; working at the commitment you made to your husband/wife…this is what it is going to take to make your marriage all that God wants it to be.

Because of the widespread nature of this issue, know that I will be spending time in prayer for those of you who are dealing with this in your life. Both those who are committing adultery, and those who have a spouse cheating on them. My prayer is that you will find that intimate personal relationship with the Lord that you need to overcome the circumstances you are facing in your life. No matter how hopeless things may look, there is ALWAYS hope in Christ. Get right with God, then get right with your spouse. It is the only answer, and God will help you when you commit your life to Him and follow His Word.

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller

What are you Supposed to do When Life Seems to be Closing In

(2 Chronicles 20:22)

What are you supposed to do when you are down, when the walls of life seem to be closing in, and you have no joy in your heart? Praise God!!! In my darkest moments, in those times when I am most down, I have always found the express lane out of the valley back to the mountaintop is by praising God. Trust me, I know it is at those moments in life when we least feel like praising God.

Our natural inclination often is to curse God. That is a human reaction. But it is in our praise that we recognize who God is. It is in our praise that we realize how much He loves us. It is in our praise that we understand God is on our side. The quickest way out of the valley is by praising God!

The way we often end up in the valley is because of our rebellion. Not always, but we often end up in the valley because we have been disobedient and tried to do it our way, instead of God’s way. Normally, there is no one to blame for being in the valley but ourselves. God understands our weaknesses. He understands our nature. He also loves us enough that even when we rebel and disobey Him, He doesn’t abandon us. We may abandon Him, but He NEVER leaves us!

It is that unconditional love He has for us that we must tap into when we are down and need to get the joy back into our life. The way we tap into that love is through our praise. Our praise tells God that we acknowledge Him. We thank Him for loving us and not leaving us. We may try, but can never live a successful, happy, blessed life without Him. Our praise is our recognition that He is our God and we are His creation.

I want to encourage you today. No matter what may be going on in your life. No matter how difficult things may be, take some time today to Praise God. Praise Him for all the good things, all the blessings. As bad as things may be, they could be much worse. His love and mercy has kept you and helped you through the difficult times, now praise Him for loving you so much. Show Him how much you love Him this day by your praise offering to our God and Creator.

I love you so much. I really do care about you. I want you to know the great joy and peace and blessing of this life. Don’t let some bad decisions destroy the most important thing you have in this life, your relationship with God. You can reconcile that relationship right now, this very day.

You can start on that road by simply giving God the praise He deserves. Recognize Him for who He is-God Almighty-.the Creator of heaven and earth-your Father! Tell Him today how much you love Him through your praise. Remember, God is on your side and will restore your joy, your peace, and your happiness if you simply go to Him and let Him. Get out of the valley, praise your way out of the valley and back onto the mountaintop today!

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller

At Some Point in Life You will have to Battle Goliath

(1 Samuel 17:11, 26, 34-37, 49-51)

As you read these words today, I know that at some point in your life you will have to battle Goliath. One of the reasons I exhort you each day to stay close to the Lord through time in prayer and the Word, through being in church to get that spiritual nourishment, to be in fellowship with other Believers, to find ways to serve God, is because we all have those sentinel moments in life when we will have to fight Goliath.

At that moment you will either cower in your tent and refuse to fight like the armies of Israel and let your fear defeat you, or you will confidently go onto the battlefield knowing that victory is already yours like David did.

The word I want you to hear for your life today is that you will one day have to fight Goliath. It is not a matter of if, only when. Listen to me very closely now. You don’t defeat Goliath when you actually fight him, you defeat Goliath before you ever step onto the battlefield. This is very deep so let me say it again and listen carefully. You don’t defeat Goliath when you actually fight him, you defeat Goliath before you ever step onto the battlefield! Let me explain.

When you step onto the battlefield to fight Goliath, you are not going to have time to learn how to fight, you are not going to have time to come up with a strategy how to defeat the giant, you are not going to have time to develop the faith and trust in God to lead you to victory. These are all the things you better already know and have. If you don’t, it is no wonder why you would be afraid and are defeated before your battle with Goliath even begins.

Look at David. When he walked onto the battlefield with Goliath, he KNEW he would be victorious. How did he know that? He had fought battles in the past and had been victorious. When he was guarding his father’s sheep, he battled with a lion and won. When he was guarding his father’s sheep, he battled with a bear and won. David had been in battle before. He knew how to fight. More important, he had developed a great faith in God who gave him the strength to win those battles.

So when David was preparing to fight Goliath, he already knew that the same God who delivered him from the paw of the bear, the same God who delivered him from he paw of the lion, was the very same God who would deliver him from the Philistine giant Goliath!!!

This is why I stress to you so often how critical it is to be in the Word every day, to be in prayer every day, to fellowship with other Believers, to be in church and be fed spiritually, to find ways to serve the Lord. All of these things you do each and every day help build you up spiritually and strengthen your faith, while you fight the daily battles of life and God leads you to victory. That way when you have your showdown with a real giant like Goliath, you can go into that battle with the confidence and knowledge that the same God who has led you to victory in the past is the very same God who will lead you to victory today.

I love you and care about you so much. My word for you today is PREPARE! Prepare now for your battle with Goliath. It is not a matter of if that battle will happen, it is only a matter of when. The time to win that battle is now before it ever happens. Faithfully pray each day, faithfully read the Word each day, faithfully fellowship with other Believers, faithfully go to church to be fed spiritually, faithfully serve God. It is your faithfulness NOW that will lead you to victory when you fight Goliath.

I will be praying for you. Praying for you to know VICTORY in your life over those day-to-day battles we all face. It is watching God lead you to those daily victories that will give you the confidence and faith to trust Him when the major battles arise. God is a God of VICTORY.

Let me leave you with this Truth. The same God who led you to victory over your battles 10 years ago, the same God who led you to victory over your battles 5 years ago, the same God who led you to victory over your battles last year, the same God who led you to victory over your battles last month, is the VERY SAME GOD who will lead you to victory over your battles tomorrow and lead you to victory when you fight Goliath!

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller

A Culture in Full Rebellion to God and His Truth

(1 Samuel 17:47)

A culture in full rebellion to God and His Truth! I vividly remember my summer vacations during the ’60s as I was growing up. One of the highlights each summer was the 2-week stay at my father’s parents. Those two weeks with
grandma and grandpa were always a special time. One of the things I will never forget was on Saturday night we always watched the Lawrence Welk Show. As an 8, 9, 10-year-old boy, it wasn’t my favorite thing to watch because it was an “old people’s show.”

One thing I did enjoy about the Welk program was most every week they would include one of the great hymns of the Christian faith, and there were even some programs that were dedicated to the great hymns we sung in church each Sunday. I have to confess, if I am home on a Saturday night around 7 p.m., I
always switch to the local PBS station in Tampa, since that is the hour each week they replay those great Lawrence Welk Shows. I guess I am an “old people” now!

As you know, I have hammered PBS recently for airing the New Age lies of Dr. Wayne Dyer that are leading the souls of those who follow his false teachings to hell. That is why I was shocked last week to learn that PBS has announced it will no longer air ANY “religious programming.” My guess is that they will label Dyer’s programs that bring in millions of dollars to PBS each year as “spirituality,” but will never even consider any program that counters his lies with the Truth of the Bible.

It will actually be very interesting to see how they handle some of the old Welk programs that are full of the great old hymns of the faith. PBS tends to have an older demographic and I am certain the Welk programs that have been used to raise lots of money for PBS over the years are a big reason many elderly people donate during their fundraising drives. The fact PBS is also supported by tax dollars makes this interesting that they can refuse to air any programming that would be geared to the Christian faith, but I doubt the ACLU will be defending Christians against PBS any time soon.

I bring this to your attention today as simply another example of what I have been telling you for years was going to happen, as the culture is slowly but surely aggressively trying to eliminate God, Jesus, and the Bible from the public arena while promoting the lies of satan. Twenty years ago PBS would have never had the guts to make a move like this, but nobody fears Christians any longer and satan is working overtime to eliminate Christ and Biblical Truth from the culture.

Another great example of this was Pepsi finally “coming out” in their full support of the radical homosexual agenda in this nation. They now boldly and visibly align themselves with the gay movement in the sponsorship and partnership of high-profile gay events around the nation. Trust me, they spent millions in market research that has told them that they can cash in on this growing segment of our society with minimal downside risk in losing sales from those who oppose the sin of homosexuality.

I have tried to share with you over and over that NOBODY fears Christians any longer. They are not afraid of us because we are so fractured, we have no real voice or presence in the secular marketplace Those who are most visible have no real impact on the culture because they either preach a watered-down feel-good message or compromise the Truth to pursue their own agenda, and the Truth has been so compromised in most churches that even those who profess to be Christians will support sin more readily than they will stand for the Truth of the Bible.

I have been told by major TV networks that air the most outrageous filth and garbage you can name, promoting every sin imaginable, that they find the content of my TV program to be “offensive and disturbing.” THE WORLD IS OFFENDED AND DISTURBED BY THE TRUTH OF THE BIBLE!!!!

I love you and care about you so much. The fact is there is a world out there that is HUNGRY for real Truth. People are searching and looking for real hope and answers they can stake their lives on. I watch daily as people promoting a political ideology are rallying great numbers of people through their media presence. After nearly 7 years in the secular media, 10 years online, I can attest that this nation is RIPE for someone who has the guts and courage to boldly tell people there is a better way, and that better way is God’s way!!!

I will remain faithful, continue to do what I do each day in reaching millions via the Internet, seeing lives impacted for Christ, and souls saved, while sitting on the vehicle that can change the spiritual course of this nation and turn our land back to God and His Truth. I am so thankful for the many people step up and sacrifice each month to keep me doing what I am doing, as I seek God for wisdom, pray daily for the Lord to send the right person or group who has the resources and vision to help me put into place the media tools we need, national TV and radio, to take this nation back for the Lord.

Satan will keep fighting with all his might to shut down Liveprayer through a
lack of funding, since he knows if I can simply get my hands on the $3 million it would take to put those media pieces into place, we can quickly amass several million people around this nation who want to see this nation turn back to God and His Truth, giving us the voice and presence to battle for the hearts, minds, and souls of the masses who are simply waiting for someone to give them REAL hope and change!!!

Please be praying with me for God to lead that one person or one group who has the ability to help me. We have the proven vehicle to turn this nation back to God and Biblical Truth, to see millions souls saved, and we simply need the “fuel” to get this vehicle out there. Once that happens, there is no doubt that God’s Spirit will begin to move like we have never seen and use
our efforts to bring our nation back to the Lord and His Truth. As I have told you often, this is a battle for the soul of the nation and the souls of the lost masses!!!

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller

One of the Men I Admire the Most in God’s Word and Try to Follow is Paul

(Romans 13:7)

One of the men I admire the most in God’s Word and try to follow is Paul. Paul was a leader in every sense of the word. A leader is a person with vision, the guts to stand up and declare that vision, the ability to inspire others to follow, the fortitude to persevere despite whatever opposition there may be, and the patience to see that vision become a reality. I want to use Paul’s life to challenge you in your personal walk to make the most of each day God gives you.

As I have shared with you often, our journey through this life is so brief and over so quickly. James calls it a “vapor.” The Bible clearly teaches that tomorrow is promised to none of us. That is why we must make the most of each and every day. There are no do-overs. When this journey is over, it is over, we are not coming back. This is our one and only shot. Understanding that, it should become the desire of each of us to make each day count and live it to the fullest.

Very few people in their life will have the opportunity to become the President of the United States or the leader of a nation. However, EVERY PERSON has the ability to make a difference in this world no matter what you have been called to do. I don’t care if you are 15 or 115, rich or poor, male or female, what color your skin is, YOU can make an impact on this world with your life and be a leader.

God gives each of us passions, things that we develop a love for throughout our life. God gives each of us gifts, special abilities that come naturally to us. Throughout our life God opens and closes doors. It is through these passions we have, through the gifts we have received and developed, and through the opportunities that life presents us, that each person can make an impact on this world during the course of their life.

You see, God needs His children in every area of life. He calls His children to be teachers, doctors, scientists, astronauts, pilots, police officers, fire fighters, secretaries, bank tellers, garbage collectors, janitors, nurses, homemakers, car dealers, mechanics, farmers, politicians, entertainers, lawyers, writers, stock brokers, and any other profession you can name. Throughout the course of a person’s life, God may call someone to do many different things. The point is, whatever career or profession you are in, you can make a difference. The key is to do your very best each day and realize that your life matters.

***Those who know Christ as their Savior have been called to lead. The most common way we lead is by example, how we live our lives each day before this lost world we are part of for this brief time.

Of course, no matter how much we may accomplish in our life, our greatest legacy will be those lives we touch for Christ along our journey. You see my friend, no matter what your passions may be, what your gifts may be, what career or occupation you have, we all have the same purpose in this life. That is to serve and glorify God with our lives. All that we do in this life comes back to our God-given purpose which is to serve and glorify Him. The money we accumulate, the property we own, all of the things of this world will one day pass away, but those lives we impact for Christ will last for eternity!

I love you and care about you so much. Paul had a full life and used his life to make a difference in this world for Christ. Paul was a real leader of men. The example from his life I want to challenge you with today is that YOU can make a difference in this world too, regardless of the career or occupation you are in. The key is to wake up each morning, do the very best you can, and as God opens doors in your life be bold enough to walk through them. In these last days God needs men and women with the courage and spiritual guts to lead!

Never forget that no matter where God may have you working during each season of your life, He has placed you there as His ambassador. You are not there by accident, but God has placed you where you are in life to share with others you meet along your journey the hope and love of Jesus Christ and the Truth of His Word. That will be your real legacy when this brief journey is over, those lives you impact for Christ.

The reality of this life is that one day, sooner than any of us expect, it will be over. At that moment we will be instantly in the presence of God our Creator (2 Cor 5:8). At that moment, God is not going to be interested in the name of the church you attended, what your job was in this life, how much money you have, or how many buildings have your name on them. No my friend, the only thing God is going to be interested in is do you have a personal relationship with His Son Jesus Christ. For those who do, God will say, “enter into my rest.” AMEN!

My word to you today is this. Go out and make an impact in this world in whatever God has called you to do with your life. Make your life matter! Be a leader! Never forget that you have been called to serve and glorify Christ with your life and your lasting legacy will be those lives you touch and lead to Jesus along your journey!

A Day in the Life of Liveprayer Founder Bill Keller

(Acts 20:19)

A day in the life of Liveprayer founder Bill Keller. One of the emails I get almost every day are from people curious to know about my daily schedule. I have alluded to it at times over the years, but never really dedicated an entire Devotional to it. However, since so many people are curious and have asked, I thought it would be good to share my typical day with you. It may give some people ideas how to better structure their day to try and find that balance between our daily relationship with the Lord, our family, and work that we all try to achieve. On a selfish note, it will also give those many friends who pray for me each day detailed information so they can be praying more specifically.

Monday thru Friday my life is lived almost exclusively in what I refer to as “God’s triangle.” God’s triangle consists of my home, my office which is about 15 minutes away, and our TV studio which is about 5 minutes from my house and 15 minutes from my office. I am up each day at 5am and spend that first hour in prayer and the Word. That hour is the most critical and special hour of my day. I could not even imagine one day without spending that time alone with the Lord in prayer, reading His Word, and just fellowshipping. It is during this hour that the Lord feeds me, inspires and encourage me, so that I can feed, inspire, and encourage others.

From 6am-7am, I work on the outline of the next day’s Daily Devotional. After that, I take a shower, get dressed, and head into the office. I arrive at my office around 7:30am. Each day as I unlock the front door, I pray a prayer that I began praying during the first weeks of Liveprayer almost 10 years ago, when I didn’t know if we would be able to make it. I simply ask God to bless the day, to use me for His glory, to help me to stay focused on those things I need to do and can do that day, and commit into His hands those many things out of my control. It is an act of surrender, realizing that there are so many things each day that God is going to have to handle. My goal each day is to focus on those things I am supposed to be doing and leave the rest to Him.

From 7:30am until around 3pm each day I am in my office, seeing to all of the things it takes to operate the Liveprayer ministry each day. During those hours each day I finish the next day’s Daily Devotional, answer apx 200 emails at random from the 40,000 we receive each day, answer apx 100 personal emails each day that I have to respond to, prepare for the topic of that night’s TV/radio program, go through the daily mail, work with our bookkeeper and CPA firm on all of the daily accounting issues, deal with our attorneys on any legal issues we may be facing, speak anywhere from 2-3x up to 30x a day with my head tech depending on whatever technical issues there may be that day, work with my PR firm and do any press interviews, create, implement, and oversee all of the special projects, and personally handle the fundraising activities to insure we raise the $80,000 we need to each month to operate.

It is an interesting blend of ministering to the needs of the people we reach each day and who reach out to us, implementing the vision God gives me each day for the ministry, and overseeing all of the business and financial aspects of Liveprayer. It is a combination of being a prophet, pastor, teacher, entrepreneur, TV/radio host, and CEO. God has brought to fruition a decade of being in the business world, nearly 2 decades of ministry, and all of the lessons and skills I have learned over these past 30 years to serve Him in this unique and creative way.

Most days from 3-4pm I am either visiting someone in the hospital or counseling those who are dealing with any number of issues in their lives. By 4:15pm each Monday thru Friday I am in the gym for my daily 45 minute workout that consists of 20 minutes of cardio and 25 minutes of weights. I head home, shower, take a 30 minute nap, and am up at 6pm. From 6pm-8pm, it is time to spend some quality time with my wife either at home, or out doing the day-to-day things everyone has to deal with. I could never have done what I have done all these years without her also making the commitment to the Lord to sacrifice her life for His work as well. It is a relaxing 2 hours away from the work and all that is associated with the ministry, and quality time to focus on my wife and our relationship.

It is back to work from 8-10pm each night to catch up on emails and deal with any problems that there may be. At 10pm it is time to shower and get dressed for the TV/radio program. I usually arrive at the studio around 10:30pm, 30 minutes before we go on the air. On Tuesday I have to be at the studio at 9pm to record that weeks 7 Video Daily Devotionals for cell phones, and on Wednesday I am also at the studio by 9pm to record that weeks sermon for the Liveprayer Church. The TV/radio program is live from 11pm-Midnight. After the program I head home, handle any emails I need to take care of as well as any problems, and am in bed by 1am. Trust me when I tell you that I am usually fast asleep within moments of my head hitting the pillow and have been blessed to sleep very deep and sound until my alarm goes off at 5am.

On Saturday and Sunday, the only change in my schedule is that I am out of the office by Noon. Other than an occasional hospital visit, wedding, or funeral, with no TV/radio program on the weekends I am pretty much free between Noon and Midnight other than checking email a couple of times and making sure all of the daily operations are going ok. As you can see, Liveprayer is literally a 24/7 operation. This coming August 31, I will have been keeping my finger on the pulse of God’s work, overseeing all of the operations of the ministry literally every single day for 10 years.

Another question I get all the time is what do I eat. For the past 4 years now, I have been eating a pretty consistent diet of tuna fish and tomatoes around 8am. Around 11 am I eat a small chicken breast and some rice. At 2pm I eat some steak and vegetables. During the day I’ll snack on some fresh fruit. In the evening I have a regular meal, usually Korean food that my wife prepares. Other than on Saturday night, I rarely go out and eat in restaurants. I am not too crazy on sweets, though I do enjoy exotic deserts when we out in a nice restaurant. At home, when I break down about once a month, my favorite is to take 3-4 scoops of Haggan Daaz vanilla, put about 2 spoons of chunky peanut butter on the top, throw in some Macadamia nuts, and mix it all up.

It is a crazy and hectic pace that I would not recommend to anyone. I have been able to keep up this unique schedule for nearly 10 years because the Lord has blessed me with wonderful health, though I do my best to stay in shape by getting semi-annual check-ups, being in the gym 5 days a week, and eating a healthy diet. Most people should get at least 6 hours of sleep every night instead of 4, and if you have children you need to spend more time at home with them. The daily stress of ministering to several million people each day along with all of the ministry responsibilities, plus overseeing the daily operations of Liveprayer is incredible. However, having that strength only God can provide, knowing ultimately He is in charge, allows me to manage the stress and enjoy His peace and joy even in the most difficult times.

I love you and care about you so much. You will never know how much I appreciate your love and support and the fact so many care and worry about me each day. It is your love and prayers that sustain me each day. When I left prison nearly 2 decades ago, I had a group of 13 elderly grandmothers in Pensacola praying for me daily. There are only 3 of those dear saints still alive. Those dear women, so many countless friends over the years, and now the tens of thousands in the Liveprayer family who faithfully undergird me each day with prayer, encourage and strengthen me like you will never understand. Your prayers are my “secret weapon” that enables me to step onto the front lines each day without fear, knowing the saints of God are with me, interceding on my behalf.

Let me ask you to please continue to pray for me. Now more than ever I need your prayers as I have made this fresh commitment of my life to the Lord, taken a step of faith far greater than any before as I lead the Jonah Project. Calling this nation and the other nations of the world to repentance or face the judgment of God, while trying to lead the lost to faith in Jesus Christ, along with amassing millions of true followers of Jesus Christ to take decisive action on the social issues of the day, is a huge and massive undertaking. With God’s help and your prayers, we will see His mighty hand move, nations repent just like Nineveh, and millions of lost souls find everlasting life through faith in Jesus Christ. My schedule won’t be changing as I live each day to serve the Lord with everything I have and fulfill His will in my life!

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller
