***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, help me to always be prepared to serve You in any way that I can. My life belongs to You. I am ready, willing, and able to answer Your call as I go through my life each day. Use me for Your glory. I am Yours! In the name of Jesus I pray…AMEN!

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: The sad attack on the Jewish community in New York last night is NOT an isolated incident. As I have shared with you in the Daily Devotional and on the Liveprayer TV program throughout 2019, acts of anti-Semitism is on the rise all over the world! While it appears anti-Semitic feelings fueled this recent attack, it is also abundantly clear that the evil perpetrator had a long history of mental illness. This individual in custody has a long arrest record of violent crimes as well as a lifetime of mental illness issues. Hatred based on someone’s religion is nothing new and has! always
been part of our culture. Department of Justice statistics show each year that the 1 religious group targeted for their faith are Jewish people. I have dealt exclusively over the years about the fact we have no legitimate mental health infrastructure in the United States. Sadly, the prison system, city, county, state, and federal, have become the defacto mental health system in the nation. Prison officials have estimated well over 60% of the inmate population, possibly as high as 80%, have legitimate untreated mental health issues. Raw hatred and evil drives the anti-Semitism in this nation and around the world, and untreated mental health issues often leads to that hatred being manifested in the killing and injuring of innocent souls.

As we head into a new year in just a few hours, I realize that much of what I write each day is geared to those who are in the midst of the storms of life, or warnings of the traps satan has laid designed to kill, steal, and destroy your life. Today, I want to address the vast majority who are reading this who are NOT in a crisis and enjoying the peace, joy, and abundance that this life can offer.

I think it is important from time to time to focus on the fact that we do go through seasons of our life when things are going good. The reality is, God gives us periods of our life when we can enjoy the abundance this life can offer. That does not mean everything is perfect, it never is. But we are not facing great trials and we don’t feel like the walls of life are closing in around us.

The important message that I want you to hear today is that when you are in this season, a season of calm, a season ! of peace,
you don’t neglect your daily relationship with the Lord. It is very easy for us to take for granted our daily time with the Lord when things are going well in our life. During those times we may not be as motivated to read the Word, to pray, to just have that special time with Him. There may not be the fervor or passion about our daily contact with the Lord as there is when we are in a crisis.

I want to encourage you today that during those periods of calm in your life, to continue to be diligent in your daily walk with the Lord. Like any relationship, it is only as strong as what you put into it. Also, there will always be trials and tribulations in this life. Enjoy those seasons of peace, but know without a doubt that there will be challenges in the future and you will need to be able to call upon your faith at those times. Your daily connection with the Lord through the Word, through prayer, is how you keep your faith strong.

I love you and care about you so m! uch. I
think the Christian life is inaccurately portrayed as one of continual crisis and need. Because it is usually only in that time of great need people contact Liveprayer, I am guilty of sometimes focusing too much on that aspect of our lives. The fact is most people today are NOT in crisis, their lives are NOT falling apart, they are NOT fighting great battles in their life. Most who read this today are enjoying their life and in the midst of a time of great peace and joy.

I will be praying for you today. Praying that you enjoy this season of peace and joy. God gives us these seasons so that we can experience the real abundance this life can offer. You can’t really know the peace of this life unless you intimately know the Prince of Peace. You can’t really know the joy of this life unless you know the Author of joy. You can’t really know the abundance of this life unless you know the One who came to give us this life more abundantly.

Life is NOT all about pain and ! misery,
but can be wonderful. I pray today that you will enjoy this wonderful life, but never neglect your daily relationship with the Lord since it is only because of, and with HIM that it is wonderful!

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, give me a hunger for Your Word like never before. It is a lamp unto my feet. Give me a HUNGER FOR YOUR PRECIOUS LIVING WORD! May I make it a priority each day to spend time in the Bible during this new year. Let me know You better and hear Your voice clearer. In the name of Jesus I pray…AMEN!

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: JESUS WAS NOT A REFUGEE AND THE HOLY FAMILY WERE NOT ILLEGAL ALIENS!!!!!!! I am so sick and tired of people, many who have good hearts I am sure, trying to use Joseph, Mary, and the baby Jesus to promote ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. As I have shared on my TV program many nights, there were no laws violated when the Holy Family fled to Egypt at the behest of the angel to escape Herod’s infanticide of all male babies 2 years and younger. The key is that there were no immigration laws at that time for them to break. There was a free flow of people in and out of countries of that day, a! nd crossing a
border from one country to another WAS NOT A VIOLATION OF ANY LAW! The very reason they were in Bethlehem to begin with was to be counted for the census. It was the Roman emperor who called all of the Jews back to their hometowns through the use of a census. This would have been to get a proper count on the number of people as well as for taxation purposes. Since Joseph was a descendant of David, he had to go back to Bethlehem to comply with this command from the emperor. ONE LAST TIME SO YOU CAN CORRECT YOUR ANTI-CHRISTIAN, PRO-IMMIGRATION FRIENDS, THERE IS NOTHING IN THE CHRISTMAS STORY THAT HAS ONE THING TO DO WITH OUR CURRENT IMMIGRATION DEBATE AND THOSE WHO USE SUCH AN ANALOGY ARE EITHER LYING OR JUST THEOLOGICALLY ILLITERATE!!!

A great tradition here at Liveprayer is my annual New Year’s resolution message. This the 21st year I have had the honor of sharing this special message, and tens of thousands of people have taken my challenge and read the Bible cover to cover in a year, something less than 10% of people who profess to be Christians have ever done. Have you? If not, I am praying that you will make this YOUR New Year’s resolution for 2020!

Having preached to several hundred thousand people in evangelistic meetings in churches of all denominations throughout the country, having ministered to millions via television and radio through the years, and having prayed for and intimately counseled thousands and thousands of people over my 27+ years of ministry…I would have to say the biggest problem I have encountered with Believers is the vast majority have never read the instruction manual!!!

Statistical rese! arch
shows that less than 10% of professing Christians have ever read the entire Bible. The church as a whole is Biblically illiterate! From time to time in my Devotional I will give my opinion on an issue and I am very careful to always let you know when it is Bill Keller’s opinion. Most of the time I just let God’s words speak for themselves. There is not one issue, one thing we deal with in everyday life that is not covered in the Bible.

How many people are in terrible marriages where one spouse is a nonbeliever. Do you think God admonished us to “not be unequally yoked” for nothing? How about those dealing with horrible illnesses because they abused themselves over the years with alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, and food. Does God not tell us our body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit? How many families are ripped apart by bitterness and hatred when the Bible commands us to “have love one for another,” to “forgive as Christ has forgiven you,” and to “love your enemies.” I hav! e to be
honest. In many cases it is not as much rebellion towards God as it is complete ignorance of God’s Word.

Like many men, I get a new electronic toy and the first thing I do is open the box, toss the instructions to the side, and start “putting it together.” Usually after a period of time when it is not working or I have broken something, I grab the instructions and put it together correctly. How much easier would it have been if I had done that first. It is the same in our walk with God. Many people claim they can’t hear God. God may be talking to you and you can’t hear Him because you don’t know what to be listening for. The Bible is one way that God speaks to us. If you want to hear God, just read the Book.

I know that those who get this Devotional each day are of above average intelligence which is why I am very direct and to the point. I share things knowing that you are smart enough to understand what God expects you to do, I don’t have to paint a picture. So! if you
ever listened to me at all, listen to what I am going to say to you now. This applies to everyone, even those that may have read the Bible cover to cover 100 times.

***It takes an individual of average reading ability 90 hours to read the entire Bible. That is one hour a day for 3 months, or one half hour a day for 6 months, or 15 minutes a day for 12 months. Most people make New Year’s resolutions. Here is one for you with eternal rewards and will be more valuable than losing 10 pounds that you will just put back on. Carve out one hour, 30 minutes, or 15 minutes every day starting January 1st and start reading at Genesis 1:1. One hour, 30 minutes, or 15 minutes, you choose. I suggest that for those 90 days, or 6 months, or the next 12 months, you get up that amount of time earlier than normal and do it the very first thing. Trust me, God will give you the strength you need during the day.

Losing a little sleep will not kill you. Quite the opposite. It will save ! you 100
times that in lost sleep over the years from problems caused because you didn’t take time to read the instruction book!!!

Now listen, I understand that some of the Old Testament can be dry. The Jewish laws, the genealogy of kings, some of the prophetic books can be very confusing and at times boring. Plug on. Don’t get discouraged because you don’t understand everything you are reading. Having read the Bible cover to cover many, many, many times, each time is a new experience for me. You might have accepted this challenge before. This message is still for you! DO IT AGAIN! YOU CAN NEVER GET TOO MUCH OF GOD’S WORD!!!

WARNING: I am not the Bible answer man so don’t start flooding me with questions. I’ll pray for you anytime, but I cannot handle thousands of Bible questions. I do suggest though you keep a notepad of questions and talk them over with your pastor.

Trust me when I tell you, reading the Bible cover to cover will change your life. You will see thin! gs you
never thought were in the Bible. You will see God’s warnings and promises to help you through tough times. Most of all, you will start to understand how God thinks. How can you please God if you don’t understand how He thinks? He knows you are not a mind reader. That is one reason He gave you the Bible so you could begin to understand what God expects from your life.

I promise you the time you spend reading the Bible cover to cover will be the most important time of your life. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of what I am challenging you to do. Start at the very beginning. That way you can see God from the creation of our world, to the very end. It is better than any book or movie you have ever read or seen.

The Bible is our final authority for all matters concerning this life. In this day of being politically correct, accepting everyone’s beliefs and ideas, we are in the mess we are morally and spiritually because we have gotten away from the black and w! hite
truth of God’s Word. We have no one to blame but ourselves. In this day of instant gratification, drive thru food, cell phones, email, Federal Express, jet travel, we want what we want now and refuse to wait.

We have become lazy which is why we don’t take the time to read the Bible. I guarantee you that you will spend 90 hours plus in front of the television, the computer, with the newspaper, or doing something else that you enjoy. I am not saying quit living and enjoying your life. What I am saying is that you have the time, it is only a matter of whether this is a big enough priority for you to take the time.

I love you, care about you, and my heart breaks every day as I read the thousands of prayer requests I receive. How much heartache and pain could have been avoided if people would have only read the Book and followed the instructions. You cannot believe how much sense this life makes when you are living under the direction of God’s Word. As I say often, ou! r way
does not work, God’s way does!

I will be praying that the Lord really opens your heart and conviction floods you right now as you read these words. I can’t force you to do it, you have to want to do it. I will be praying and trusting the Holy Spirit to move on your heart to take this challenge, even now as you read these words. This will be the best New Year’s resolution you will ever make.

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Lord, USE ME in these perilous, last days, as a messenger of Your hope in Jesus. Father, make me aware of the people You have put in my life each day, many who will die and burn in hell for all eternity for rejecting Christ, and use me as a vessel of Your love and hope. I Thank You for sending Jesus to die for my sins that I might know the free gift of everlasting life, and I ask today that You help me to lead others to that wonderful eternal relationship with Christ. For it is in HIS name I pray…AMEN!

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: The country China, with apx. 1.4 BILLION people over an incredible land mass, controls 100% of the content their people can access, and even has a record of what each individual accesses. The people of Iran are rising up against those in power. That evil government has literally killed at least 1,000 protesters we know of. In an effort to control their population, the gove! rnment of
Iran is not literally turning off the internet so nobody outside of the government can access the net. Russia now has the capabilities to censor what website their people can access. Why does this matter to people in the United States with the incredible freedoms we enjoy? Please don’t be so naive to not realize the freedoms you enjoy today can be taken away from you tomorrow, YES EVEN IN THE UNITED STATES! Also, over 50% of the people in the US now get their news and info from the internet. Not TV, not radio, not by print…FROM THE INTERNET. That percentage is only going to grow as the years roll on. A huge percentage of our population 30 and under, get 100% of their news and information from social media sites and the internet. Due to the fact the largest percentage of the last two generations have never been to church, don’t grow up in homes that have a faith tradition, their thoughts from childhood and what they believe as the get older are being shaped largely by! the news and
information they are getting from social media and the internet! The ability for Christians to reach the lost and hurting masses with the Truth of God’s Word and the hope and love of Jesus is getting more difficult. We know that even as I speak, social media sites can censor whatever they want, and target specific words. What happens when they target the words Christian, Jesus, Bible, church? What happens if we at some point get an administration that for “national security reasons” decides to restrict access to what website people can access? Those who follow Liveprayer know I don’t traffic in conspiracy theories, in fear-mongering. Government restrictions on access of the internet, censoring of content EXISTS TODAY. Now more than ever we need to press forward each day to insure we reach those who are lost and without the hope of Christ in their life. The ease we once were able to do that is starting to erode very fast!!!

The Bible says at the name of Jesus EVERY knee should bow, and EVERY tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. The actual Greek in this passage says MUST bow. The fact is my friend, there will come a day in the life of EVERY living person when they will bow their knee to Jesus and confess Him as Lord! The only question that remains is WHEN they will do it.

God has given man the free will to accept His free gift of everlasting life through faith in Jesus Christ, or reject that gift. That is a choice each person must make during their life. The fact is, the Bible warns us that tomorrow is promised to none of us. That is why the Word says TODAY is the day of salvation. The reality is, you may not see tomorrow. So the ultimate choice each living person has! to make is to
bow their knee to Jesus and confess Him Lord and receive God?s free gift of everlasting life, or reject Christ in this life and spend eternity separated from God.

EVEN THOUGH A PERSON MAY CHOOSE TO REJECT CHRIST DURING THIS LIFE, THERE WILL COME A MOMENT WHEN THEY DIE AND STAND BEFORE GOD WHEN THEY WILL BOW THEIR KNEE TO JESUS AND CONFESS HIM TO BE LORD BEFORE THEY ARE SENTENCED TO ETERNITY IN HELL!!!

When Pontius Pilate died, he bowed his knee to Jesus and confessed Him to be Lord! When Nero died, he bowed his knee to Jesus and confessed Him to be Lord! When Buddha died, he bowed his knee to Jesus and confessed Him to be Lord! When Gandhi died, he bowed his knee to Jesus and confessed Him to be Lord! When Hitler died, he bowed his knee to Jesus and confessed Him to be Lord! When Madelyn Murray O’Hare died, she bowed her knee to Jesus and confessed Him to be Lord! When Bin Laden and al-Baghdadi died, they bowed their knee to Jesus and confessed Him to be Lord! ! When any
person dies that has rejected Christ, before they are cast into everlasting darkness they will bow their knee to Jesus and confess Him to be Lord!!!

Sadly, there are many people walking this planet today that have chosen to live their lives in complete rebellion to God and to His Word. They have rejected Jesus Christ in their life and refuse to acknowledge Him for who He is. You can’t force anyone to believe, you can only share with them the Good News and the truth of God’s Word and pray for them to open their heart to that truth. But the fact remains, they will at some point bow their knee to Jesus and confess Him to be Lord.

I love you and care about you so much. For those who have already bowed your knee to Jesus and confessed Him to be Lord, you have the assurance of everlasting life with your Savior when this brief journey here is over. That is why no matter what may be happening in this world, we can never lose sight of the fact that our hope is in a be! tter place.
Like those heroes of faith we read about in Hebrews 11, we long for a better country, a heavenly one. A place where we will dwell with God our Creator for all of eternity.

For those who are reading this today that have not bowed your knee to Jesus and have not confessed Him to be Lord, I am praying for you. He loved you enough to die for your sins so that you could not only receive everlasting life, but know true joy, true peace, and true abundance in this life as well. I pray that you will take a moment right now and ask God to open your heart and then read the words at this link: https://liveprayer.com/salvation.cfm

May God richly bless you today and let me leave you with this most beautiful passage of Scripture from the Book of Philippians, “Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a ! man, he
humbled himself and became obedient to death, even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:6-11)

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: Without the peace of God! There is a new study stating that 4 in 10 people are at the breaking point because of their job. It also states that ½ of younger adults leave their job due to mental health issues. As I have shared in respect to so many issues, there is a mental health component. We no longer have any legitimate mental health infrastructure in this nation. Add to that, we are a nation where the better percentage of the past 2 generations have never been to church, and overall have forsaken God and His Truth. True peace comes from God! A sound mind comes from God! Is it any wonder why we are seeing studies like this at a time in our nation when God has been forsaken?

One of the common prayer requests I see daily are requests for God to reconcile family members whose relationships have been broken for a myriad of reasons. One of the tests of our spiritual maturity is the ability to forgive, pray for, and love someone that has wronged us. It is especially difficult when that someone is part of our family. I am going to challenge you today to exhibit Christ-like love this Christmas as you share this blessed time of year with your family members.

Regardless of who is at fault, who is wrong, the circumstances involved, my challenge to you this Christmas is to make an attempt to reconcile with someone in your family that you may not currently have a relationship with. I realize in many cases this is going to be a very difficult task, but it is what God wants you to do, and He will give you the strength and courage to make the effort.

Let me say up front, you are ! not
responsible for the actions of anyone else, only your own. You cannot force a relationship with someone who refuses to accept you. But you can, and God requires you, to make the effort. At that point, it is in His hands. He is the one who has to move on the other person’s heart. Much like in witnessing, you can never force someone to get saved. But God requires you to give them the opportunity, and after that, it is up to the power of the Holy Spirit to move on that person’s heart.

I am not going to elaborate very much today, because the challenge God has for you is very simple, very straightforward. God is asking you to make the effort to reconcile with someone that you are not on good terms with during this Christmas season. Forget the reasons that you are fighting, forget what has happened in the past, make the effort in Christ-like love. At that point, you have done what God has asked you to do, and it is then up to the other person to respond.

I know this is! not
easy, and in many cases will be very painful. I will be praying for you. I will be praying for His strength, words, and love to be with you in a way like you never have known before. God is love. It is His desire to see His children love one another. What better Christmas present for God than to obey His voice and make the effort to reconcile your relationship with that family member you are separated from!

I love you and care about you so much. I will be praying today specifically for you to heed this challenge and to be obedient to God’s voice. I want to see you be all God has raised you up to be. One way you can do that, is by doing those things in life, even the painful things, that you know God expects you to do.

You will be surprised how much can be accomplished just by making the effort. The problems won’t immediately disappear, they won’t wipe away years of pain, but God is able to heal and restore relationships. God is a God of reconciliation and restora! tion!
That is His desire for you this Christmas!

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: The tragic, but not surprising ambush aimed at Christians, by Christians! Over the past 24 hours, I have watched people who LOATHE Christians and all we believe, suddenly embrace and fawn over a Christian. All of the MSM media vehicles have given extensive ! time to
Mark Galli, the Editor in Chief of Christianity Today. Galli wrote a scathing opinion piece in CT that parroted the false and unsubstantiated claims made by House Democrats that led to President Trump’s impeachment this week. The bottom line of Galli’s clearly politically motivated article was that President Trump needed to be removed from office and Christians should better never forget who we serve. Since there are very few “coincidence” in the political world, it was learned that Galli will be stepping down as the Editor in Chief of CT in the next two days.

After 20+ years laboring in the “marketplace” with extensive dealings with the secular media, I can tell you that in 2019 it is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to get into the daily news stream with a Biblical worldview. Yet, due to Galli calling for President Trump’s removal, the MSM who cheerleads for killing innocent babies, sexual perversion, and hates Israel, gladly gave him all the time he needed to expl! ain why a Christian is
not a real Christian if they support and vote for President Trump. I have written NUMEROUS Daily Devotionals over the Trump Presidency on this very issue. You can go to the Daily Devotional archives on the Liveprayer website, type in keyword TRUMP, and read the in-depth thoughts I have shared on this issue. Here is all you need to know about CT. Yes, it is a publication co-founded in 1956 by Billy Graham at his alma mater Wheaton College in suburban Chicago. However, over the past 20 years, it has become a very “liberal” magazine that focused extensively on the social issues of the day.

Galli’s opinion is one that I have spoken about many times in the Daily Devotional and on the TV program. Donald Trump is a thrice married whoremonger, he is an egotistical greedy narcissist, a brute in many ways, profane, cheats people in business, and many find to be a very vile and disgusting human being. Much of that is true. It is also true that he has lived his life for t! he past 40
years in public view for the world to see. There was nothing about Donald Trump that people didn’t already know. So Galli prefaced his argument on these known facts over his life prior to become President. What he failed to mention was that according to the top evangelical leaders of the day, he has made a personal profession of faith to Christ. I happen to have a personal relationship with 3 people who are on his faith counsel and very close to him. The have all confirmed this. As I have stated before, only God knows his heart, and my personal assessment is that if he is truly born again, like so many he is a very “new” believer who has not grown much. Time will tell.

The core argument to Galli however is what is the alternative? In 2016, Christians were face with Hillary Clinton, someone who we KNEW would support the anti-Christian, anti-Israel, baby killing, pro-sexual deviant policies of the previous 8 years under President Obama. She would appoint liberal,
anti-Constitutionalist judges to the Supreme Court as well as the lower Federal Courts. We knew that 100%. Donald Trump was a pure wildcard. He made lots of promises to Christians as ALL Republican Presidential candidates have done. Not voting, voting for a 3rd party would hand the Presidency to Hillary Clinton. So the vast majority of Christians prayed and voted for Donald Trump. THEY WERE NOT VOTING FOR A PASTOR BUT A PRESIDENT, AND LIKE ALL POLITICIANS, VOTING FOR THE PERSON WHO THEY PRAYED WOULD BEST REPRESENT THEIR FAITH VALUES.

Three years later, what Galli left out was President Trump kept his promises! He has been arguably the most pro-Israel, pro-life, pro-religious liberties President in history. He has appointed 2 strict Constitutionalists to the Supreme Court and over 200 Federal judges. I hear all the time he really doesn’t believe what he says and is “faking it.” Again, that will ultimately be between him and God, but please give me a President who ! “fakes it” with
the real world results President Trump has produced!!! Galli and CT are nothing but a holier-than-thou moralists whose standards are fine for the pastor of a local church, but Christians aren’t stupid and know all politicians are part of an inherently evil institution necessary for governance.

At the end of the day, all we can pray for are politicians who won’t attack our faith, and if they help advance it in any way that is a bonus. For the record, ALL major evangelical leaders, including Franklin Graham have come out in condemnation of this CT opinion piece and in full support for President Trump. Their reasons are exactly what I shared with you soon after his election, over several times during the past 3 years, and here today. Those who oppose President Trump politically understand the Christian vote was critical to him becoming President, and will be just as critical next November for his re-election. Sadly, Galli became a sad tool of the political opponents ! of President
Trump, doing their bidding in trying to break the support of Christians for the President. The only one who can do that is President Trump, and based on his DEEDS as President, he will keep that support.

A CHALLENGE FOR YOU TO MAKE 2020 THE MOST SPIRITUALLY PRODUCTIVE YEAR IN YOUR LIFE!!!

With 10 days left in 2019, the challenge God has for you in this upcoming new year is easy to understand, but not easy to perform! It will not sound very difficult, but trust me my friend, you will need to be prayed up each day and spiritually plugged in 24/7 so you are operating in His strength and power in order to succeed. Accepting this challenge and doing your best each day can make 2019 not only! the most spiritually
productive year of your life, but a year in which you will grow in the Lord like you never have in your life!!!

The challenge is simply this. Each day the Lord blesses you with in 2020, each day He allows you to wake up, before you end that day by going to sleep, you need to do something during that day for the Lord. I am not talking about your personal time with the Lord in prayer and the Word. That is a given. I am talking about doing something SPECIFIC DURING THAT DAY for the Lord.

At first glance this doesn’t seem to be that difficult. It could be finding someone during that day to share your faith with. It could be taking 30 minutes of the day and finding some way to serve the needs of others. It could be going out of your way at some point in the day to help someone you know who is in need. There are almost endless things you can do during the day that you consciously and specifically do in order to lay down to sleep at night and be able to point to at l! east ONE
THING you did that day to serve Jesus!

Now, let me help you understand the real life difficulty of being successful in this challenge. How many people, better yet, how many times have you started the year with the goal of losing so much weight, for a smoker to stop smoking, to read the Bible cover to cover, or for any other issue in your life that you wanted to focus on. You do real good January 1st, 2nd, 3rd, maybe throughout the whole month! But, than comes February, March, April, and I submit to you that in most cases what you diligently set out to accomplish starting January 1st is a faded memory.

Trust me, I am not trying to guilt you or shame you. This is simply human nature. So, while having the goal of doing something specific for the Lord every day He blesses you with in 2019 may not seem like such a hard thing to accomplish, it will be! That is why I say you will have to be prayed up each day, spend some time in the Word each day, and be focused through! out EVERY
DAY to find that time, that specific thing you will do THAT DAY to serve the Lord!

My friend, the greatest legacy that you can leave is in the lives you touch for God. As I have gotten older, each passing year makes me realize all the more how brief our journey here really is. It is only natural that we think about how we might be remembered after we are gone. I don’t want to sound cold, but the fact is, other than our family and possibly a few close friends, the memory of our life will fade quickly.

Once we are gone from this life, there is very little left to remind people that we were even here. Some people may be memorialized by having a building or road named after them, others may have their memory honored by having an event named after them, but for most there will be little evidence of this life once it is over. My purpose today is not to discourage you, but to challenge you in regard to how you CAN live on long after your life here is over.

I have ! often
talked about leaving behind the temporal things of this world when we die. How the only thing we will take from this life into eternity is our relationship with Christ. Our works will be tested and much of what we do in this life will be burned up as wood, hay, and stubble. The works that will stand the test of fire are those eternal works. So it is with our legacy, what we leave behind. We leave behind our name, which may or may not continue. The most visible thing we leave is our children, but they too will one day die.

What we do leave behind that will NOT pass away are those souls who will live for eternity because we were obedient to God. Understand that only the Holy Spirit can bring a person to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. However, God uses human instruments to affect a person’s life and bring them to that point. Your prayers, your kind words, your acts of charity, your unconditional love for others during your life will live on in that person for
eternity!

The point I want you to understand today is that it is never too early in life, or too late in life to impact someone for eternity. It is after all our purpose in this life. Our purpose is to serve and glorify God. Our service to God comes in the service to others. Our service to others has ETERNAL consequences. It is our greatest legacy. It is the part of us that WILL live on for eternity. We live on long after we leave this life, in the lives of those we touch along our journey.

Also, let me remind you that another way you can impact lives for Christ is through your giving to Liveprayer. Every person is at a different place financially during the many seasons that make up our life. That is why God’s Word teaches to “give according to your ability to give.” It is NOT the amount you give, but the heart you give it with, your obedience to give as the Lord purposes in your heart to give.

Let me challenge you with this for the coming year. Afte! r over 2
decades, 243 months, 7,416 days of ministering to the needs of people worldwide while boldly bringing His Truth into the marketplace, I know 2020 will be our busiest years of ministry yet. Because of the fact that the vast percentage of the past 2 generations have never been to church, a culture in spiritual freefall, our work has never been more critical in shining HIS light in the darkness of our world and in the broken and damaged lives of those who come to us each day in their hour of need!

The totality of our ministry operations, Liveprayer.com, the Daily Devotional, our personal responses to apx. 40,000 emails every 24 hours, the Liveprayer TV program “live” 5 nights a week, is $55,000 a month, just over $1,800 a day! For context, that is the annual budget of a local church with !,000 or less congregants who meet once a week! That my friend is a modern day loaves and fishes miracle. That would be just 30 people making a commitment to the Lord that every mont! h during 2020
you will sacrifice $1,800 to Liveprayer!

JUST 30 PEOPLE MAKING A MONTHLY COMMITMENT OF $1,800! WILL YOU DO ME A FAVOR AND PRAY ABOUT BEING ONE OF THOSE 30 PEOPLE???

Because I have refused to turn Liveprayer into a marketing organization, advertising, renting out email names, selling products, all of the things major ministries do to raise money on top of their donations, our challenge from day one, 7,416 days ago, was to stand in faith for God’s provision as Paul did by sharing his needs with those he ministered to. Liveprayer ministers in the marketplace that has been abandoned by the church and most ministries. The biggest challenge we have when reaching out to the lost is for them to trust you. Most outside of the faith see ministries and churches as a money hustle, and unfortunately in too many cases they are right. So we take that out of the conversation to simply minister to their needs and share with them the hope and love of Jesus.

However, we sti! ll require
funds to operate. I BELIEVE GOD HAS SUSTAINED THIS WORK OVER THESE 2+ DECADES BECAUSE WE HAVE NOT OLD OUT, NOT COMPROMISED FOR MONEY, BUT LITERALLY WALKED BY FAITH TRUSTING THE LORD TO MOVE ON HEARTS AND PROVIDE FOR OUR NEEDS…AND HE HAS!!!

So please be praying my friend about what God is calling YOU to sacrifice in 2020 to insure His work here at Liveprayer continues to be that beacon of HIS light in the darkness of today’s world. Pray about allowing God to use you, the resources He has blessed you with, to insure each month during 2020 I can focus 100% of my time and energy on ministering to the lost and hurting and not the resources we require to simply do our work! Again, just 30 people making a monthly commitment of $1,800 insures our basic ministry operations are taken care of each month. Pray about allowing the Lord to use you as one of those 30 in 2020!!!

I love you and care about you so much. I pray that you will read these words over and over for the! next few
days and begin praying about accepting this daunting challenge for the upcoming year. This is not a game, but is very serious. Only God knows how HE can use your focused efforts each day to impact lives and advance His Kingdom. He is only asking you to participate, to be a human instrument He can use each day to bring about His perfect plan and purpose.

This is one of those Devotionals that you should print out and keep with you. We all go through those times in our life when we wonder what it is all about, if it really matters. The answer is a resounding YES! We need to be reminded from time to time that we are significant because God can use us in His plan and purpose to touch other lives each and every day along our journey if we allow Him to.

My challenge to you today is to make sure you leave an eternal legacy, that you live on after your death in the lives of those the Lord allows to cross your path each day. MAKE 2020 THE MOST SPIRITUALLY PRODUCTIVE YEAR ! IN YOUR
LIFE!!!

All of the MSM media vehicles have given extensive time to Mark Galli, the Editor in Chief of Christianity Today. Since there are very few “coincidence” in the political world, it was learned that Galli will be stepping down as the Editor in Chief of CT in the ! next two
days.

After 20+ years laboring in the “marketplace” with extensive dealings with the secular media, I can tell you that in 2019 it is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to get into the daily news stream with a Biblical worldview. Yet, due to Galli calling for President Trump’s removal, the MSM who cheerleads for killing innocent babies, sexual perversion, and hates Israel, gladly gave him all the time he needed to explain why a Christian is not a real Christian if they support and vote for President Trump. However, over the past 20 years, it has become a very “liberal” magazine that ! focused extensively
on the social issues of the day.

It is also true that he has lived his life for the past 40 years in public view for the world to see. As I have stated before, only God knows his heart, and my personal ! assessment is
that if he is truly born again, like so many he is a very “new” believer who has not grown much.

She would appoint liberal, anti-Constitutionalist judges to the Supreme Court as well as the lower Federal Courts.

Three years later, wha! t Galli left
out was President Trump kept his promises! He has been arguably the most pro-Israel, pro-life, pro-religious liberties President in history. He has appointed 2 strict Constitutionalists to the Supreme Court and over 200 Federal judges. I hear all the time he really doesn’t believe what he says and is “faking it.” Again, that will ultimately be between him and God, but please give me a President who “fakes it” with the real world results President Trump has produced!!!

For the record, ALL major evangelical leaders, including Franklin Graham have come out in condemnation of this C! T opinion piece and in
full support for President Trump. Their reasons are exactly what I shared with you soon after his election, over several times during the past 3 years, and here today. Those who oppose President Trump politically understand the Christian vote was critical to him becoming President, and will be just as critical next November for his re-election. Sadly, Galli became a sad tool of the political opponents of President Trump, doing their bidding in trying to break the support of Christians for the President. The only one who can do that is President Trump, and based on his DEEDS as President, he will keep that support.

A CHALLENGE FOR YOU TO MAKE 2020 THE MOST SPIRITUALLY PRODUCTIVE YEAR IN YOUR LIF! E!!!

With 10 days
left in 2019, the challenge God has for you in this upcoming new year is easy to understand, but not easy to perform! It will not sound very difficult, but trust me my friend, you will need to be prayed up each day and spiritually plugged in 24/7 so you are operating in His strength and power in order to succeed. Accepting this challenge and doing your best each day can make 2019 not only the most spiritually productive year of your life, but a year in which you will grow in the Lord like you never have in your life!!!

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, thank you for giving me another day of life. Let me use this day to bring glory and honor to you! You are the Creator, the giver of life. Never let me take even one day, one hour, for granted. Use me this day to bless those I come in contact with, that you may be glorified! In the name of Jesus I pray. AMEN!!!

***A MOST BLESSED CHRISTMAS FROM MYSELF AND THOSE WHO LABOR AT LIVEPRAYER FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY TO HAVE A MOST BLESSED CHRISTMAS!!! A Christmas blessing: https://liveprayer.com/mc19/

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: God is the creator of all things good and perfect. Satan takes the perfection of God and perverts it…EVERYTHING! Even most people with hardened hearts, who hate God, have a soft spot for the Christmas season. We are all aware of the God-haters attempts to cleanse our culture of anything to do with God, such as the never-ending attempts around Christmas to remove public
displays such a nativity scenes. However this Christmas, anything to do with this season is under attack in an attempt to ruin the “joy” this time of year brings out in most people! However, NOTHING can take your peace, your joy, and that extra special joy we carry in our hearts during this most blessed time of the year!!!

Believe it or not, Christmas is only 6 days away! I was taught very early in life that you can learn much by watching people. In the day Jesus was born, a shepherd was the equivalent of a busboy or dishwasher in today’s society. It was a very lowly position and these were not the type of people that you would think to look at as role models. Let me remind you that you can! never judge a person by
the house they live in, the car they drive, or the job they hold. It is our heart God sees and judges.

The shepherds on the night Jesus was born must have been pretty important men in the eyes of God because it was to those men, that He revealed the birth of His son in Bethlehem’s manger that night. While there are many great spiritual lessons that you can learn from the shepherds, the one I want to focus on today is their conduct after they had visited the manger and saw with their own eyes the baby Jesus.

The scripture reference today tells us that they left praising God for all they had seen and were shown. Praising God. I have talked about this many times in the past, and will continue to talk about it because it is one element of our faith that we just don’t practice enough. So much of our prayer time, so much of our focus is on our problems and circumstances, that we often forget to spend time each day just thanking and praising God for all that He does for! us each
and every day.

In the past month, a lady in Baltimore, Maryland emailed a request for God to restore her marriage. Her husband had left her for another woman. Within 3 weeks the husband had come home, recommitted his life to Christ, and they were in Christian counseling to work out their problems. For those of you today with marriage problems, God is still in the restoration business. A man in Newark, New Jersey requested prayer the day before open heart surgery. He emailed us a week later telling us all had gone well and the doctors told him he would make a full and complete recovery.

For those battling health problems today, God is still in the healing business. A single mother of 4 in St. Louis asked us for prayer after she lost her job. 2 weeks later God had given her a better job, with more money. For those of you in need of a financial blessing today, God is still in the business of providing for His children.

On the 5th day after we started Livepraye! r, our
prayer partner on the live video feed was praying for a person as they accepted Christ as Savior. The next day an email came in from Hong Kong from a man who had lost his business, was thinking of suicide, and somehow logged on to our site. As the prayer partner was leading the person in the sinner’s prayer, this man in Hong Kong prayed to accept Jesus too. God is still in the business of saving souls! Every day we get incredible praise reports of how God has touched lives and worked miracles in thousands of people who have visited Liveprayer during a time of great need in their life.

I want to encourage you today to learn from the shepherds and never neglect to thank God for all He does for you each and every day. Blessings that you take for granted. It is through your praise, through you telling others all that God has done for you, that they might increase their faith to allow God to work in their life. Your praise report gives others going through the same situatio! n the
hope and strength to go on, trusting God for their miracle.

Hope is the greatest gift you can give to another person, and our hope is in Jesus Christ!!!

I love you and care about you so much. I pray today that you will not forget to give God the praise He deserves each and every day. I appreciate more than you can know the praise reports that we get every day because that keeps all of us here at Liveprayer encouraged. God not only hears our prayers, but answers our prayers! My challenge to you today is to be like the shepherds. God blesses you so that you can share His blessings with others, to encourage them! Be like the shepherds and tell those you meet along the path of your life about this wonderful friend you have named Jesus Christ!

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, Thank You for Your love and blessings. I pray today that You help me to touch even just ONE life for You. If it is a kind act, a kind word, or the opportunity to tell someone about Your love, USE ME TODAY FOR YOUR GLORY! In the name of Jesus…AMEN!!!

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: It has been interesting to see so many articles written lately in secular publications about the state of our culture. Even non-Christian, worldly publications, people are starting to realize the depth of depravity our culture has sunken into. One lamented that the state of so much of our population is “lonely,” “miserable,” and “depressed.” They noted possible reasons being the lack of family, faith, and patriotism. Interesting! Another spoke of the low percentage of people in a “traditional marriage,” meaning God’s plan for marriage which is one man, one woman, for one lifeti! me. The pointed out the
ever growing numbers of people who are divorced, most multiple times. They point out many who aren’t divorced are currently in a relationship with different people. While not talking about the perversion of same-sex marriages, they do point out the number of people involved in various relationships such as with multiple people of both sexes. It is also noted the growing percentage of adults still living with their parents. A recent report spoke of the fact we are currently in the worst drug and alcohol abuse crisis in our nation’s history. My friend, as I have been warning people here at Liveprayer for 20+ years now, speaking of for 17 years on the Liveprayer TV program, God’s plan for marriage and the family is the foundation of our culture. The breakdown of God’s plan for marriage and the family has led to the cultural decimation we have witnessed in real time over the past 40 years! The abuse of drugs and alcohol, large percentages of people lonely, miserable, a! nd depressed is
all due to being hopeless! That hopelessness is a byproduct of the vase percentage of the last 2 generations having never been to church, of being without any faith. Hopelessness fills the void that only God and faith in His Son Jesus can fill. The cultural woes even non-Christians are now writing about has as their root cause a population living void of Biblical Truth and a faith in God our Creator!!!

***SINGLE MOTHERS CHRISTMAS!!! Thank You to all who prayer, and those led to help with this effort. We were able to give $200 to 16 more single mothers and their children than the 30 we initially planned on. This was due to several of our friends being led to make the sacrifice to bless those i! n need this Christmas.
I still here every year from moms and some of the children we helped going back to 2005 when we first began this special Christmas outreach. God is great and those seeds of kindness will always have an impact in the lives they are sown in. May we all never forget that this season is about giving, as God gave His very best, His Son Jesus!

Christmas on Sunday! Every several years, Christmas day falls on a Sunday. Recently, in 2005, 2011, and 2016 we celebrated Christmas day on a Sunday. The next time will be in 2022. I distinctly remember the year 2005, the first time this happened during the history of Liveprayer.

In early December that year, I started getting emails from people asking me what I thought about the fact their church was going to be closed on Christmas, since that year Christmas was on a Sunday. I assumed that these were isolated cases of some very misguided pastors. As Christmas Day got closer, I was getting more and more emails about! churches
being closed on Christmas Sunday, and it is became an issue that needed to be addressed. Please understand me, we were not talking about businesses closing on Christmas, we were talking about CHURCHES!

This only makes my point when last week I addressed the “controversy” surrounding secular department stores that won’t say “Merry Christmas.” We, as Believers, are outraged at a lost world who won’t celebrate and promote the birth of the Jesus they reject, yet, the very churches that are God’s instruments on this earth for that purpose choose to close because Christmas is on a Sunday! As I have stated often, rather than influencing our world, we have allowed this world to influence us!

I remember in 2005 speaking to a few pastors who have decided NOT to hold services on Christmas Sunday. In fairness to them, I really wanted to hear their heart and reasoning for making this decision. I had to assume that there was something I was missing. In each case, I heard the s! ame basic
reasons for not holding services on Christmas Day. “It is a day for families to be together.” “We need so many people to logistically be able to hold services, and wanted those people to be able to have the day off with their families.” “Not enough people come out to service when Christmas is on a Sunday.”

These pastors I spoke to were right about one thing. It IS a day for families and there is NO BETTER PLACE for a family to start their Christmas Day celebration than at church! As for the people who serve their churches in so many different capacities on Sunday, what better way to spend a few hours on the day we celebrate the birth of Jesus than by serving Him!

Lastly, since when was opening the doors of the church about how may showed up? The reality is, Christmas and Easter are the two time of the year a HUGE portion of people who call themselves Christmas ever darken the doorstep of a church. It is also the time of year many who are not Believers have a des! ire to be
in church. Other than Easter Sunday, Christmas is the greatest evangelistic opportunity of the year!!!

I would like to encourage any pastors out there who plan to close your church down on the next time Christmas Day falls on a Sunday, PRAY ABOUT THIS! Having Christmas on a Sunday is gift from God and rather than closing, you should be having EXTRA services!!! This should not only be a time of great celebration for your church family, but for your community. Don’t you realize that in EVERY family there are people who are lost and without the hope we have in Jesus? If there was EVER a day to get that family member in church it is on Christmas Sunday!

In addition to holding services for your church family, you need to hold services for your community. Again, there are more people than you realize who profess to being a Christian who will only go to church on Easter and Christmas. In addition, there are those who are not saved, who spent their childhood in church and
Christmas is the one day of the year that are open to coming to church. Every church should be advertising and promoting in their community their Christmas Day services, knowing that you will have people come just because it is Christmas. This is the day you bring out your best salvation message and give those who come an opportunity to accept Christ as their Savior!

Let me encourage you today that if your church chooses to be “closed on Christmas,” don’t let that stop you from going to a service and celebrate the birth of our Lord this Christmas Day. Get your family, get your neighbors, load up the car and find a church that is open and holding services on Christmas morning. If there was EVER a day to be in church it is Christmas Day. There is NO BETTER WAY for you to celebrate this blessed event than by being in God’s house.

I love you and care about you so much. I am praying today for those pastors who will face the choice to close their churches on Christmas ! Day in a
few years. Don’t miss one of the greatest opportunities ever to do what God has called you to do, bring hope to the hopeless and lead lost souls to faith in Jesus Christ!

I am also praying for each person who is reading this today to make the time this Sunday to go to church, take as many of your family and friends as you can, and experience the great joy of celebrating that wonderful event that took place over 2000 years ago in Bethlehem when God sent the greatest gift ever to this world–Jesus! There is no greater time to be in church than on Christmas celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!!!

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller
