A modern day “fishes and loaves” miracle!!!

(John 14:6)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Lord, Thank You for meeting my daily needs as You have promised in Your Word. I look to You and You alone for my sustenance through life, and Thank You for Your faithfulness. Please help me to be a good steward of the funds You entrust into my care during this life, and give me favor in my finances, and wisdom in my decisions. In the name of Jesus I pray…AMEN!!!

A modern day loaves and fishes miracle! Tomorrow begins the 20th anniversary month for Liveprayer. Tens of millions of lives worldwide have been impacted. Since we began 7,300 Daily Devotionals, 15 million emails for prayer prayed over and responded to, 1.5 million praise reports archived, 3,000+ live TV programs on non-Christian stations and networks, in addition to officiating several hundred weddings and funerals, and visiting well over 500 hospital rooms.

However, most important of all are the apx. 1.4 million souls we know of who have come to fa! ith in
Jesus Christ and will be forever in Heaven with Jesus!!!

Just looking at these number is incredible. It has been a joy I can’t even put into words. I really have done nothing more than wake up each morning and do my very best to be faithful. It has only been possible due to the love, endless prayers, and great sacrifices of so many of our friends here at Liveprayer over these past 20 yrs.

It has taken $14 million dollars given by thousands of dear friends over these past 20 years in order to provide the literal 24/7 ministry we have to people worldwide for free. That $700,000 a year is the same basic budget of a local church with less than 1,000 members!

The only way we have been able to accomplish all we have for the Lord is first and foremost walking by faith, literally every single day. I have refused to play the fundraising games most ministries and many churches play. As Paul did, I simply prayed about our need the first of each month, got on my kn! ees and
asked the Lord to provide that amount, not a penny more, shared our needs with our friends, and go to work trusting God to provide!!!

The $14 million we have raised to accomplish all we have for the Lord over the past 20 years has also only been possible because I have not allowed Liveprayer to turn into a huge “monster” operationally. We still operate the ministry out of the back rooms a used car lot that we started in 20 years ago.

I have refused to buy buildings that require monthly operational costs. I have no staff other than an assistant and tech team that is critical to our daily operations. I took a modest salary of apx. $50,000 a year until 2008 when the economic downturn hit so many people. The past 11 years I have only taken what was required for my daily living needs.

I also don’t own a fleet of luxury cars, multiple mansions, or private jets as so many national ministries do. Our monthly operations budget of $55,000 is less than what m! any national
ministries pay each month in fuel for their private jets! I have been satisfied knowing whatever rewards there may be from God’s work will come in Glory, not in this lifetime.

***JULY FINANCIAL UPDATE: As we head into the final day of July, we still have to bring in the final $42,000 of our basic July ministry operations. It is critical to cover $27,000 TODAY, and the final $15,000 by the end of the week so all of our basic ministry operations are current heading into our anniversary month of August.

$27,000 of our $42,000 balance is CRITICAL for our daily ministry operations. I am praying for one or two of our friends who God has richly blessed to send a special one-time gift to help me insure this critical $27,000 of our July balance is taken care of.

*We are at a difficult place we have been several times over the 20 years of Liveprayer. In 2017, satan thought he had finally silenced the voice of Liveprayer. It was close, but after God moved on the ! heart of
ONE DEAR FRIEND who was able to make a huge sacrifice for His work here, we went on to have our most productive year of ministry yet during 2018. With the culture we live in being in spiritual freefall, 2019 has again been a very productive year from a ministry perspective and the needs and opportunities will continue to grow.

Of course you can overnight a check today to our office or put the gift on your credit card. Feel free to email me for any information you may need to help me at: bkeller@liveprayer.com

EVERYONE can pray. Most everyone can ! seek the
Lord for what he is calling you to do to help me end this month current. God’s Word teaches us to “give according to our ability to give.” For some, that may be $10, others $20, $50, or $100, and still others it may be $1,000 or more. OUR GOD IS ABLE!!!

I NEED YOUR HELP TODAY!!! If you are praying about dedicating a special one-time gift for Liveprayer’s 20th anniversary, this would be a perfect time!!!

*******In honor of our 20th anniversary in August, please be in prayer about sending a special one-time gift of $20, $1 for each year, $200, $10 for each year, $2,000, $100 for each year, or $20,000, $1,000 for each year. I will also humbly accept a special gift of $200,000 from one person God has blessed, enabled, and will speak to, about honoring His work at Liveprayer over these past 20 years!!!

TO GIVE A GIFT TO LIVEPRAYER, you can use your major credit card at: http://www.liveprayer.com/donate.cfm or you can mail your gift to: Liveprayer, 6660 4! 6th Ave. North,
St. Petersburg, FL 33709. All gifts to Liveprayer are 100% tax deductible!!!

My friend, I am doing all I can to keep Liveprayer alive through these difficult summer months. I desperately need several of our friends to help me today. We are at a very critical place today, and after 20 yrs and all of the ministry we have provided to tens of millions worldwide faithfully 24/7, I refuse to accept that God is done with His work here over $42,000.

I hate to use even one day to share our needs, and would ever do so if it wasn’t critical. I have walked this walk of faith for two decades and continue to do so today. I stand in faith for those God is calling to help me as He has many times throughout these years at critical times. HIS WORK, MY WORK, IS IN HIS HANDS AND YOURS!

Over these many years, God has raised up many different friends of His work here who at critical times made a special sacrifice of $20,000, $50,000, in one case $80,000, and several times $100,000. I am standing in faith that as everyone prays and those who are able give according to your ability to give, we can bring in the $42,000 balance from July so we can begin to work on the $55,000 required for our operations in our anniversary month of August!!!

All we have done has only been possible by dear friends like you who have prayed for me, and sacrificed to support me financially. For those who have been part of the Liveprayer family for these many years, you know that I have never sent a Devotional like this unless it was an emergency. I don’t play games when it comes to the finances. I simply share our needs, get on m! y knees,
and trust God to move on the hearts of people to provide for our needs.

My friend, I am counting on you today. I need to hear from you today. This is critical, and I desperately need your help. There are some in the Liveprayer family reading these words today who have sold some property, a business, received an inheritance, a tax return, or possibly just have funds you have faithfully accumulated God may be speaking to you about investing into His work here at Liveprayer!!!

I desperately need your help and will be in prayer for the Lord to move on your heart and for you to be obedient to help me today!!!

Please don’t think that just because there are 2.5 million subscribers, someone ! else will
take care of this. Less the 1/4 of 1% of those we minister to online and on TV EVER send a dime of support. But that is OK since 50% of those we reach each day are NOT Christians and we purposely reach out to the lost to bring them the Gospel to build God’s kingdom while virtually all ministries simply preach to the choir in order to raise millions to build their Kingdom.

It has been friends like YOU over the years who God has spoken to, who have responded, who has made Liveprayer available to bring hope and salvation to so many. It will take someone like YOU today. Also, I know there is someone reading these words who God has richly blessed, you have been praying about a place to use your resources where God can multiply them exponentially in the lives and eternal souls of men. THIS IS IT! CONTACT ME AND LET’S CHAT HOW YOU CAN HELP ME!!!

I love you and care about you so much. Do you want to do something great for God with your life??? STAND WITH ME!!! I CAN’T DO! THIS
ALONE!!! I am asking you today to simply pray about what God may be calling you to do to help me with this effort.

I am also asking you to please forward this to every person you know, personally reach out to those who God has blessed with financial resources and encourage them to support this new work, and share this email with your pastor and ask him to pray about having your church make a special missions gift towards this effort.

When this brief journey through life is over, what do we have to show for it? The only lasting legacy we have are those things we did for the Lord. I have taken my stand and will proclaim His truth with my dying breath. Today, I am asking you to pray about joining me and let’s turn this nation back to God and His Truth!!!

Will you stand and fight with me??????? I am praying for several of our friends to take this moment and allow the Lord to use you as He has so many throughout the years to be here daily in order to pray for the
hurting, give hope to the hopeless, and lead lost souls to faith in Jesus Christ.

After 20 yrs online, 15 on TV, being part of this work of the Lord daily you know that this is a sovereign work of His grace and our faithfulness. Liveprayer is fertile ground to sow your seed and see a mighty harvest of souls from your faithfulness!!!

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller

(Genesis 9:6; Exodus 21:12; Leviticus 24:17; Numbers 35:16, Numbers 35:31; Deuteronomy 19:11; Proverbs 28:17)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, please watch over me today and keep me from all harm. I look to You for protection from the evil in this world. Father, You know my challenges today. I give them to You. Let me be about Your business today, as I know You will be about mine. In the name of Jesus I pray…AMEN!!!

This past week, Attorney General Bill Barr reinstated the death penalty for the most heinous federal crimes. In the normal uproar whenever this issue is in the news, I found it interesting that the vast percentage of people denouncing the punishment of death for those who purposely and consciously choose to commit the most horrific crimes, are the very same people who advocate for and staunchly defend the slaughter of innocent babies!

The fact i! s, if
people don’t want the government to sentence a person to death when they commit the worst crimes imaginable they can have Congress outlaw it. Same goes for individual states. Currently there are 32 states where the death penalty is in effect. If people in those states don’t agree with the death penalty they can change the laws!

With the evil abortion industry pushing states to kill innocent babies for any reason at any time, even after a botched attempt where the baby is now out of the womb, I wanted to use this opportunity to share with you what the Bible says about capital punishment.

Many who oppose capital punishment say it is hypocritical to be opposed to abortion and yet, support capital punishment. That is an apples and oranges argument! Abortion is the killing of an innocent life. Capital punishment is the killing of someone who is guilty of a serious crime against society. You cannot even argue the two, because one deals with an innocent life, the o! ther deals
with a guilty life.

The baby killed in the womb did nothing wrong and made no CHOICE to cause their death. The person who is put to death by the state, CHOSE to commit the heinous crime that society deemed punishable by death. Another false argument is that capital punishment is not a deterrent to others from committing the same kinds of horrible crimes. It is not supposed to be a deterrent! It is the penalty society deems appropriate for those who have CHOSEN to commit the most heinous of crimes against society.

You see, capital punishment has a very solid basis from scripture and ultimately is a decision each society must determine. One of the wonderful things about our country is that we can change laws that we feel are not acceptable. For those who disagree with capital punishment, you have the right to disagree. However, God’s Word is our final authority on all matters, and you cannot ignore the Biblical predicate for capital punishment.

Back in 2002 i! n the
early years of Liveprayer, I dealt with the execution of Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh. If all accounts of what he felt in his heart in his last days on earth are correct, he rejected God and is eternally separated from Him. NOT because of his heinous and horrific crime in killing 168 innocent people, but for rejecting Jesus Christ. I was saddened to hear a pastor of a United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City across from where the Mura Federal Building once stood, say on national TV that God would never forgive Timothy McVeigh.

That is NOT what the Bible says. The fact is, ANYONE, the “whosoever” of John 3:16, that truly repents of their sins and accepts Jesus Christ by faith will be saved, even someone who committed such horrible crimes as Timothy McVeigh or Clayton Lockett. That does not mean they could escape the earthly punishment for their actions, but that God would forgive them of their sins if they asked Him to, just like He will forgive anyone who asks ! Him to.
The choice he made is the same choice we all must make in this life, to have our sins washed away and accept God’s gift of everlasting life by faith through faith in Jesus Christ, or reject it.

Many have trouble accepting this truth. They have trouble accepting the fact that someone like a Timothy McVeigh or a Clayton Lockett could do something so heinous, yet still be eternally with God. But you see, we are ALL sinners. The Bible proclaims that ALL have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory. In Ephesians chapter 2 it says “For it is by grace you have been saved, though faith… and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God…not by works, so that no one can boast.”

You see my friend, God has made a way for everyone, even Timothy McVeigh to accept Christ by faith, repent of his sins, and be born again. Even though you may not have done anything as horrible as McVeigh did, the fact is you are still a sinner and you will be eternally separated from God wh! en this
journey is over unless you come to know Jesus as your personal savior.

I love you and care about you so much. The killing of innocent babies and the killing of a person convicted of the most heinous crimes society has deemed to be worthy of death ARE NOT THE SAME THING! These are two totally different issues. The Bible clearly teaches killing an innocent baby is murder and also teaches death is a just punishment for a person convicted of making the conscience choice to commit an act heinous enough the state says is punishable by death.

The incredible truth of the Gospel is that even those who commit the most horrific crimes can still repent and ask the Lord to forgive them. Christ loves each one of us so much He died for our sins. If you have never accepted Jesus as your Savior, He is standing at the door of your heart today and knocking!!! It is no accident you are reading these words. I am praying that you will open your heart to Jesus and let Him in.

Being KIND to all you meet today!!!

(Ephesians 4:32)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, my simple prayer today is for You to give the heart I need so that I can be KIND to every person I encounter throughout the day. Family, neighbors, co-workers, friends, and strangers, let me be KIND to each person you bring across my path, a heartfelt kindness that can only come from You! In Jesus name I pray, AMEN!!!

How many times in a day do we lose our temper, snap at those we love, ignore those we work with, go to school with, interact with each day? Sometimes, we are so wrapped up in our life, our problems, what we are trying to get done, we simply tune out others. You see, being kind requires us to care for others. It requires us to concentrate on their needs. It forces us to look away from ourselves and look at others.

Like many of the things I write about each day, this is something we usually overlook, often take for granted, and seldom think about. If you asked most people th! ey would
tell you that they are “kind” to others. Most of the time they are probably right. But God has told us to be kind to others, and again, in our attempt to be living within His will, this is another facet of our life we must be aware of.

*Being kind in a Biblical sense means that we need to put others before ourselves. Look at serving others instead of serving ourselves. Kindness requires our focus be on someone else.

One thing I learned early in my ministry was that only God can change a human heart. He uses us as instruments to touch peoples’ lives and soften their hearts so He can speak to them. Our acts of kindness to others is a way for God to speak to someone who needs Him. You never know where a person really is in terms of their life, but God does. Our kindness to someone at a critical point can be the act that opens them to hear God’s voice speaking to them.

I love you and care about you very much. I will be praying today for you to focus this day on! being
kind to others. Never underestimate how God is using you in the lives of others. It is usually in those simple acts that God uses us the most.

Practice being kind to others each day so that it becomes natural. Our nature is to focus on ourselves first and others second. God wants us to change that nature to focus on others first and ourselves second. That means we must trust God to look out after our needs. I am praying that your faith be increased to trust Him to care for you, while you care for others.

This is a great day today. It is unique because it is like no other day, and when it is gone, will never be back. Make the most of it and to everyone you meet today, BE KIND!!!

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller

Children growing up void of God’s Truth and love!!!

(Psalms 127:3; Matthew 19:14; Psalms 34:11)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Father, help me to be a person of TRUTH. I know that satan is the father of lies and You are the father of TRUTH. Help me each day to be truthful in my speech, and bold in proclaiming YOUR TRUTH to those You bring into my life each day. I ask this in the name of Jesus…AMEN!

Back in the mid ’60s when I was in elementary school, I distinctly remember that only a very few kids in my class didn’t go to church on Sunday. Well over 90% of my class went to church. Sadly, just 50 years later it is completely the opposite, with well over 90% of children in public school NOT going to church and growing up in homes void of God. We now have the better percentage of two full generations that do not go to church and that live their lives void of God. One of the ways to see that change is by reaching the children with the Truth of God’s Word and the hope and love of Jesus Christ.

The reality ! is satan
has infiltrated the schools with his lies. Lies that your child is gay or really isn’t they gender they were born as. Lies that we evolved from pond scum. Lies that there is no God. Lies that there is no absolute right and wrong. Satan is a liar, the father of lies (John 8:44), and he has done a masterful job at telling his lies to YOUR CHILDREN from the moment they step into school, and reinforcing those lies 24/7 through every cultural vehicle possible.

Sadly, most children going to a public school are having their thoughts and beliefs shaped by ungodly teachers for apx. 6 hours a day, 5 days a week. The vast majority of their friends and peers they interact with many hours a day don’t go to church. With most kids today also growing up in homes void of God, they are RARELY being exposed to God’s Truth at all.

Liveprayer is an instrument of God to bring His Truth to the masses. We have been doing that daily for 20 years here on the Internet, and 15 year! s on TV. The
fact is that over these past 50 years, satan has erected huge walls around the public schools of this nation. Prayer has been removed and so has Bible teaching. Now the existence of God is mocked, tortured, and impossible theories of how we came to exist are being taught as fact, right and wrong are what you decide they are, and perverted lifestyles are being presented as normal and acceptable.

Like the walls of Jericho, these are huge, solid walls that look impossible to tear down. Like the walls of Jericho, God is able to bring them down!!!

This is critical, since reaching the children for Christ is a major component to seeing this nation turn back to God and Biblical principles. Satan is not shy about going after the children, so why are the people of God? Satan goes after YOUR CHILDREN through those promoting the homosexual lifestyle. Satan goes after YOUR CHILDREN through the cults that openly proselytize in schools. Satan goes after YOUR CHILDREN through th! e school
curriculum that is in direct opposition to God and the Truth. Satan goes after YOUR CHILDREN through exposing them to every type of evil and perversion known to man.

If satan is so bold in going after the souls of YOUR CHILDREN, why should the people of God be any less bold in bringing His Truth into the hearts and minds of those same children???

My friend, now is the time to go to war for the hearts, minds, and souls of our children. We have sat back long enough. There is no more time for playing games. While we have been busy building buildings, preaching to ourselves, and enjoying the peace and prosperity of living in this great country, the enemy has been busy these past 50 years insuring that he could control the hearts and minds of the children. Most children are not being raised in homes that honor God or His Son Jesus, and we have simply left them to the enemy.

NO MORE! It is time to go fight for the souls of these children!

I love you and ca! re about
you so much. God’s way is for the children to learn the Scriptures and to be nurtured in the faith at home. With so many parents who have rejected Christ and His Truth, that of course is not happening. Please be in prayer and seek the Lord how you can not only lay that foundation of faith in your children, but how you might be used to bring that same truth into the hearts and lives of their friends and other children in your neighborhood or those you might interact with through the course of your daily lives.

I will continue to pray for you moms and dads out there. Over and over I have spoken directly to you how critical your job is in raising their children in the admonition of the Lord. Nothing you do in this life will be as important. I want you to know that I am praying for you today as God gives you wisdom, direction, and strength in the raising of your children and helping to lay that foundation of faith in their lives. There is no more evil in the world today th! an in the
past, it is just more visible and much more accessible.

Today more than ever, you need to be diligent in what your children are being exposed to, so that you can insure they know what is right and what is wrong, what is from God and what is designed by satan to harm or even destroy them.

I am committed more than ever to using the increasing reach of Liveprayer to bring His Truth and love to even more people each day. Perhaps no group in this nation is more isolated and blocked from receiving that truth than the kids who go to public schools. I realize that there is nothing anyone can do to stop the lies from being told in the schools, just like there is nothing that can be done to stop the lies being told in the marketplace every day.

Just like Liveprayer aggressively and boldly brings the Truth of God into the marketplace every day, we are determined to find avenues to take His Truth to the children of our day so they have some exposure to the hope and lo! ve of
Jesus Christ!!!

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller

A prophet is a spiritual office like a pastor, teacher, or evangelist.

(2 Timothy 3:1)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, Thank You for the strength You give me each day to be victorious over my enemies. I know satan is out to kill, steal, and destroy, but he is a defeated foe. Through You, I HAVE THE VICTORY! No matter what things may look like in the natural, let me never forget that there is victory in Jesus. Because You have won the victory, I have won the victory. Thank You Jesus! It is in Your name I pray…AMEN!

A prophet is a spiritual office like a pastor, teacher, or evangelist. A prophet is a person who declares the oracles of God to the people of his or her day. An interesting side note for those in the ministry who have this idea they are here to be served. The Bible says the meal of the prophet was cow dung, not cow meat! There is also the gift of prophecy. It is a spiritual gift. Like all spiritual gifts, every child of God has some but not all.

There is great controversy within the body of Christ reg! arding
gifts, but let me say that the Bible clearly says God gives people spiritual gifts to accomplish His plan and purpose. He gives someone the gift of prophecy to tell people about future events. It is NOT Christian fortune telling or being a Christian version of the psychic friends. Also, remember that a prophetic word will ALWAYS be supported by scripture!

Of course, since it is something that will happen in the future, the prophetic passages of the Bible can be interpreted many different ways and are highly subjective. I think we should go to the Biblical standard for a prophetic word. Those who gave prophetic words were never given the chance to be wrong twice, since they were stoned to death after their first miss! I wonder how many “prophets” would be out in our churches today under those conditions?

WE ARE LIVING IN THE LAST DAYS. THEY ARE HERE NOW!!! You don’t have to be a Bible scholar to read the words of Paul to Timothy in 2 Timothy Chapter 3, the words ! of Peter
in 2 Peter Chapter 3, or the words of our Lord in Matthew Chapter 24 as they describe the signs of the “last days.” No man knows the hour the Lord will return but the Bible is clear He may come back at any moment in the “twinkling of an eye.” We are in the last days, Christ is coming back at any second, and because of our gross sin, wickedness, and rebellion to God and His Word we are DUE His judgment.

That is why each day I do my best to encourage you, challenge you, and push you in your daily walk with Christ. God needs every one of His children, now more than ever, working hard for the Kingdom. As a child of God, we have the power and ability to turn from sin. The reason I focus so much on sin is because it is the weapon the enemy uses to keep you from being a productive member of God’s army. He gets you so consumed in your own problems, in your own situations, that you are not able to be part of fighting the larger war for the eternal souls of people.

God giv! es us
glimpses of the future, of the last days, so that we can be motivated to get busy and work while we still have an opportunity to make a difference. There is no time to sleep or rest, because time is quickly running out!

I love you, and care about you so very much. Now more than ever God needs you, needs each one of His children on the battlefield each day. Once we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are immediately drafted into God’s army. It is not an option, but a responsibility. It is not something we should even hesitate wanting to do. After all, we know that those who die in their sin are destined to eternal separation. If we can help even one person avoid eternal damnation, how can we say no?

God has strategically placed you exactly where you are supposed to be. It is no accident you live where you live, work where you work, go to school where you go to school. That is your battle station. As we watch the last days unfold, as we anticipate the re! turn of
Christ at any moment, let us get serious about serving Him. He will guide you, equip you, and make you adequate for the job He has given you to do. All He needs is your obedience and surrender to His plan for your life. I will pray for you today to open your heart and ask God how you can be the best soldier possible.

“Thus sayeth the Lord God of Hosts, I have called you forth in these last days to be my people, to show the lost in this world that I am the hope they seek. Go share that message.”

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller

(Judges 3:9, Judges 4:1, Judges 21:25)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Lord, Thank You for meeting my daily needs as You have promised in Your Word. I look to You and You alone for my sustenance through life, and Thank You for Your faithfulness. Please help me to be a good steward of the funds You entrust into my care during this life, and give me favor in my finances, and wisdom in my decisions. In the name of Jesus I pray…AMEN!

People have not really changed since God created Adam and Eve. While billions and billions of people have lived and died since the first man and woman, people have not changed. A great study in human behavior is found in the Book of Judges. I want to encourage you today to take some time in the next few days to sit down and read the entire Book of Judges. It will take you less than an hour, and be worth every minute.

Sadly, the spiritual lives of most Christians are exactly like the spiritual lives of the children of Isr! ael in
the Book of Judges. Here is how the pattern goes.

While everything is going great in your life, God slowly stops being your top priority. Actually, He often gets put far down the list of priorities. You quit praying every day, having that meaningful time alone, just you and the Lord. You quit reading your Bible every day. Going to church is not a MUST any longer. Allowing God to use you to bless others with your life isn’t a burning desire. If it happens, that is fine, but it is not that important.

As God plays less of a role in your daily life, you slowly start making choices that you would not make when you are in that close, daily relationship with Him. At the time, they seem like harmless choices. But as the days go by, you are making more and more choices that are NOT pleasing to God. Deep down, you know this, but you justify it by telling yourself that you deserve to have some fun, to do what YOU want to do.

Slowly over time, it is no longer what God ! wants
from your life, but only what YOU want. One morning you wake up and your life is a mess. You see my friend, SIN ALWAYS HAS CONSEQUENCES. THERE IS ALWAYS A PRICE FOR SIN . . . A BIG PRICE.

The Bible tells us that satan comes to “kill, steal, and destroy”. When you forget God, when you quit making Him the head of your life, when you put God on the shelf because you think that you don’t need Him, you have opened the door for satan to come in and destroy you! Trust me, at first it won’t be anything that bad. Satan is the great deceiver. He will deceive you into thinking that you don’t need God. He will deceive you into thinking that it is YOUR LIFE, and you should do whatever YOU want to do.

The longer that we live without God, the more choices that we make without praying, the deeper in sin we get. Sin is like quicksand. We sink slowly, and when God tries to get our attention, we ignore Him and sink deeper.

It is only when we are facing insurmountable odds, on! ly when
we have hit bottom, only when life is crashing down all around us, that we finally decide to cry out to God. Look at the Prodigal Son. He had to lose everything and be living in the worst conditions imaginable until he went home to his father. In our desperation we go to God, we repent, we ask His forgiveness, and we re-dedicate our lives to Him. Does that mean all of our problems magically go away overnight? NO! We didn’t create our problems overnight, and they rarely go away overnight.

But we do now have God back in our lives, and He is fighting for us, giving us the strength to get through each day, giving us the hope we need to move forward. Having God back in our lives doesn’t eliminate us from having to deal with the consequences of our ungodly choices, but over time, He will help us to be victorious. Our life will be great again!!!

We will look forward to waking up each morning. We will once again know the peace, the joy, and the abundance that this life ! can
offer. Many however, like the children of Israel in the Book of Judges, will sadly start to forget God again, and the cycle will be repeated all over.

I love you and care about you so much. I pray today that this message opens the hearts of many, as this trap satan uses so effectively is exposed. Here is the truth that I never want you to forget.

Let me repeat that.

We all know to call on the Lord in our time of trouble. My word for you today is to call on Him ALWAYS!!! In this life, we will always have trials. No matter how close we are to the Lord, we all have to fight the day-to-day issues of living in this sin-filled world. Nobody can escape that. However, when we stay close to God each day, we can minimize the problems in our life that WE CAUSE through our rebellion!

Do you! only
call on God in your time of need? My admonition for you today is to call on Him EVERY DAY. Keep Him first at ALL TIMES. God has revealed to YOU today a common trap men and women from the beginning have fallen into. Receive this word from the Lord today and walk with God every day of your journey here on earth. Call on Him in your time of need AND in your time of plenty!!!

(Genesis 1:1; Nehemiah 9:6; Psalm 19:1; Romans 1:20)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, help me to always be prepared to serve You in any way that I can. My life belongs to You. I am ready, willing, and able to answer Your call as I go through my life each day. Use me for Your glory. I am Yours! In the name of Jesus I pray…AMEN!!!

“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” John 15:5

Today is the 50th anniversary of one of man’s greatest achievements, sending a man to the moon and successfully bringing him back to earth! In 1969 the nation was going through so much turmoil. President Kennedy, who articulated a great vision for exploring space and landing a man on the moon by the end of the 60’s had been assassinated just 6 years prior. In 1968, the nation mourned the assassination of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King and JFK’s ! brother
Bobby Kennedy as he was running for the Democratic nomination for President. The Vietnam war was raging and in the news nightly.

But on the evening of July 20th 1969, the nation and the rest of the world stopped everything to witness US astronaut Neil Armstrong slowly descend the ladder of the lunar landing module and step onto the surface of the moon, uttering those now famous words, “that is one small step for man, and one giant leap for mankind!”

His fellow astronaut Buzz Aldrin soon joined Armstrong on the lunar surface. Many people don’t know this, but Aldrin took communion on the moon and cited this verse from John 15:5, “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”

Some of my fondest memories as a young boy growing up in the ’60s was getting up very early in the morning, turning on the television set, and watching the late Walter Cronkite announce the ! latest
blast-off of a manned rocket into outer space. From the initial single man Mercury rockets, to the two-man Gemini missions, to the three-man Apollo series that was highlighted in July of 1969 by Neil Armstrong walking on the moon, to the current era of the Space Shuttle flights and a manned space station, the space program has been one of man’s great accomplishments.

I also remember the horrible reminders of how dangerous space travel can be. I remember watching in tears as a fire in the capsule of Apollo 1 that was still on the launch pad, killed astronauts Virgil Grissom, Roger Chaffee, and Edward White. I remember 33 years ago seeing the explosion of the Space Shuttle Challenger just 73 seconds after lift-off, killing all 7 aboard. The past 40 years of space travel has been very exciting to witness, has contributed greatly to advancing our existence in this life, and in the future will continue to help us find answers to some of the great questions that we have abou! t our

Perhaps the greatest question ever asked is, “Does God exist?” With over 2.5 million subscribers and having many subscribers forward each day’s Devotional to their friends and family, having it posted on hundreds of other websites and message boards each day, I get hundreds of emails daily with that very question. Anyone that has ever taken a Theology 101 course knows that right after the Table of Contents, the very first chapter is on the “Existence of God.” I could spend hours proving the existence of God because belief in the existence of God is intuitive, it is assumed by the Scriptures, and it is corroborated by various arguments. But I am not going to.

Instead, when anyone asks me “does God exist?” I tell them ABSOLUTELY. When they ask me to prove it, I tell them to do two things. First, go look in a mirror, and second, go outside and look into the sky. When you look into a mirror and see yourself, YOUR EXISTENCE is one of the greatest proofs there i! s that
God exists. After all, one of the questions all men throughout human history have asked themselves is, “where did I come from?” Evolution and other theories have all proven to be impossible. There is only one plausible, legitimate explanation, and that is GOD CREATED US. If God created us, then God must exist.

When you go outside and look into the sky, the EXISTENCE OF THIS WORLD is one of the greatest proofs there is that God exists. Man from the beginning of time has asked “how were the heavens and earth made?” There have been numerous theories put forth, but all have fallen woefully short of even coming close to explain how the world in which we live was created. There is only one plausible, legitimate explanation, and that is GOD CREATED IT.

Of course those who have put their faith in Jesus Christ and know that the Bible is God’s inspired, inerrant Word simply go to Genesis Chapter One. The existence of God is a given fact. Those who have made the choice to r! eject
Christ in the their life, will in many cases also reject the existence of God. It is easier for them to live with themselves by believing that there is no God, that Jesus is a story like Santa Claus, and that the Bible is just a book of fables.

This way, they can live their life however THEY choose, free in their own mind from being accountable to anyone. These people will rely on incredible arguments, unproven scientific studies, and anything that they can find to deny God exists so that they can feel better in their rejection of Him. For people like this, you will never convince them God exists through arguments. The best thing to do is to pray for them, since the God they reject is able to open their hearts to His reality and love for them.

I love you and care about you so much. Only a fool would ever doubt the existence of God. As a matter of fact, it would take greater faith than I could ever dream of having, to even question whether God exists.

Let me! leave
you with some quotes by former astronauts about the existence of God:

“I am convinced of God by the order out in space.” Astronaut Eugene A. Cernan

“But when you leave the earth, in a spacecraft, I personally think there’s a real motivation to look toward God. After being in space, I certainly have a much greater appreciation for the world God has made, the universe He’s created. It’s very clear in my mind that this universe couldn’t have happened by chance.”

NASA Astronaut Col. Jack Lousma

“To look out at this kind of creation out here and not believe in God is to me impossible. It just strengthens my faith. I wish there were words to describe what it’s like…” Astronaut John Glenn
