Last December Barbara Walters had a Special about Heaven and If It Really Exists

(Revelation 22:14; John 14:2; Philippians 3:20; 1 Peter 1:4)

Last December, Barbara Walters had a special on ABC about Heaven and whether it really exists and all of the different beliefs people hold regarding Heaven. Of course, Walters gave equal time to all of the false religions of the world to espouse their perverted beliefs about Heaven, as well as those who don’t believe there even is such a place. Rather than critiquing her special or getting into a deep theological discussion on the Doctrine of Heaven, let me deal today with Heaven from what God has told us in His Word, our final and only authority in all matters.

The Scriptures clearly teach that there is a real and literal place called Heaven. It is spoken of in the Bible far more than hell. Heaven is the place the eternal souls of men who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will spend eternity. The Bible teaches we will have a glorified body and dwell forever in Heaven with God our Creator. We know from God’s Word that Heaven will be a place of singing, of fellowship, of serving, and of learning. We don’t have lots of specifics in the Bible about the eternal home of Believers, and there are many unanswered questions about Heaven. Please be very cautious of those who take the glimpses we get in the Word and try to add details and make definitive statements about Heaven that are simply not supported by Scripture.

Here is the most important fact for you to know about Heaven. There is only ONE WAY to get there, and that is by putting your faith in Jesus Christ. PERIOD! Heaven is the home of God, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is a place of perfection. That is why sin can’t exist in Heaven. We are all born with the sin we inherited from Adam and we all sin during the course of our life. It is our sin that separates us from a Holy God. Jesus was God’s one and only answer to man’s sin problem. He died as the one-time perfect sacrifice for the sins of all mankind. That is why there is no other name by which men are saved. It is faith in Jesus Christ, and Jesus Chris alone that saves you since He is the One who died for your sins.

Of course, all of the cults and false religions have their version of Heaven. Many of those beliefs were expressed on the ABC special. Never forget, all cults and false religions were started out of the hearts and minds of men who rebelled against God and the Truth of His Word. So their version of Heaven is a perversion of the Biblical Heaven and doesn’t even exist except in their imagination. They have not only promised their followers eternity in a place that doesn’t exist, but in reality, led them to everlasting punishment in hell for rejecting God’s ONLY way to Heaven…faith in Jesus Christ.

(I am always amused at how cults like Mormonism and false religions like Islam dangle unlimited sex, food, and luxury, all powerful motivations of this finite life, as the reward for those who follow their damnable lies!)

Outside of the imaginary “heavens” the cults and false religions have dreamed up, there are two prevailing views on Heaven held by the masses the ABC special documented and I deal with every day here at Liveprayer and on the TV program. The first is that there is no such place as Heaven. For those who have rejected God, rejected His Word, and rejected Jesus Christ, they have also rejected the existence of Heaven. They hold to the belief that you simply die and that is it. Life ends, there is no more. For these people, their “heaven,” is found on earth. Their concept of a “heaven” is the good things that happen throughout your life. These people view Heaven and hell simply as “states” we are in during this life.

However, the most popular view and belief held by most people of Heaven is that it is a place where good people go after you die. Your entrance to Heaven is determined strictly by the amount of good works you do in your life. If you are simply a good person, do good things, help others during your life, when you die you will go to Heaven. Sadly, this is also the prevailing belief held by most people who go to church! It is a combination of two great lies, salvation by works and as long as you do your best you will get to Heaven when you die. These are particularly troubling to me since again, these are the views that are actually taught from the pulpits in many churches across the nation! Pastors who teach and preach these lies are no better than a Muslim Imam, a Jewish Rabbi, or a cult leader, guiding the souls of their followers straight to an eternity in hell !!!

Paul said in English easy enough for a 3rd grader to understand in Ephesians 2:8,9 that, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast.” NOT BY WORKS! WHAT PART OF “NOT” DON’T PEOPLE UNDERSTAND??? There is NO AMOUNT of good works that is going to get you to Heaven. I don’t care how many elderly women you help across the street, how nice you are to your dog, how much money you give to Jerry’s kids on Labor Day, or the fact you don’t hit your wife or cheat on your taxes, YOU ARE NOT SAVED BY WORKS, BUT BY YOUR FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST AND GOD’S GRACE. PERIOD!!!

Also, this universalism lie from the pits of hell that everyone is going to make it to Heaven is simply that, a lie from the depths of hell itself! The fact is, everyone is NOT going to Heaven. Only those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior by faith will be in Heaven. The Bible teaches that those who reject Christ’s love will be cast into hell and punished for all eternity. I didn’t say it, God did. The problem is people think they are “good people,” when in fact the Bible says “There are none that are good, no not one.” We are ALL sinners. The Bible declares we have ALL sinned and fallen short of God’s glory. There are NO good people, only lost souls who need a Savior. The only ones who will be going to Heaven are those who ask Christ to forgive them of their sins and accept Him into their heart and life by faith.

I love you and care about you so much. There is so much about Heaven we don’t know. I get emails every day from people asking me specific questions about Heaven that I have to tell them I don’t know the answer. The greatest thing though is that those who know Jesus will find out one day very soon all those answers because we will be in Heaven and experience it first hand. I can’t wait! While there is so much about Heaven we don’t know, we do know the most important thing and that is how to get there! We also know that we will be forever with Jesus. Knowing we will spend eternity in Heaven and that we will be forever in the presence of our Lord is really all I need to know about Heaven. All the rest, the crowns, the rewards, how old we will be, what we will look like in our glorified bodies, who and what we will know, will all be known to us once we get there.

I will be praying for you today. Praying that God will give you the courage the next time you end up in a dissuasion about Heaven to take a stand for the Truth of His Word. This is a common topic with those who aren’t saved, since most do believe there is a place called Heaven. They are simply confused about how to get there. That is where you come in. Remember, you are not condemning people to hell, you don’t have that ability. The only way a person can go to hell is if they choose to go there. God’s desire is that ALL men come to repentance, that none be lost. I’m convinced after nearly 2 decades of evangelistic ministry that very few people really want to go to hell, they simply don’t believe there is such a place or nobody has ever told them how they can avoid going there.

I love when they do these types of specials, even though they give a forum to all the false religions of the word, since it is a great opportunity to talk to unbelievers about Heaven and about knowing Jesus so they can get there. Sadly, Walters didn’t interview anyone with the guts to simply look into the camera and boldly and without shame give a clear presentation of the Gospel. You can’t talk about Heaven without talking about how to get there, and the Bible tells us clearly that the ONLY way to Heaven is by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior by faith. There really is a place called Heaven and I’m not only looking forward to getting there, but also in fellowshipping with all those in the Liveprayer family that I never got to meet during this life.

Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller

Each Day this Ministry is in Prayer for Those Dealing with Tremendous Health Challenges

(Deuteronomy 10:12; Matthew 9:9)

Each day this ministry is in prayer for people of all ages who are dealing with tremendous mental and health challenges. Many prayer requests we get each day are simply for God to give them a moment’s relief from the pain in their body. Sadly, every day we are in prayer for people who have had a family member or close friend die. The reality of this life is that because of sin, our bodies do break down and become sick at some point. Death is a reality that each one of us will face one day. That is why today I want to encourage and challenge you to not waste even one day that God can use your life in His service.

I look back over my life and zero in on that 12-year period when I was not walking with the Lord, living in rebellion to God, His Word, and most of all, His plan for my life. During those years, God blessed me with a clear mind, perfect health, tremendous energy, things that you cannot put a price tag on. I took those incredible blessings from God for granted and instead of using my life to serve Him, chose instead to serve myself. I took those precious gifts from God and did not use them to bring glory to Him, but to myself. I took for granted life itself, acting like it would never end, when the Bible clearly teaches that tomorrow is promised to none of us.

Even though I am only 51 and God has continued to bless me with a clear mind (though some may argue that point on certain days), tremendous energy, and great health, I never take one day for granted, since I know that I wake up each morning and my mind and body continue to function only by the grace of God. That is why each day I do my very best to give God everything that I have. God gives His very best to me each day, how can I give Him anything less than my best?

So exactly what is God calling you to do? Many think serving God means selling everything you have and going to live in some far off jungle. While God does burden many people to serve Him in a missionary capacity, most people God calls to serve Him right where they are at in their life. Don’t think for a second that it is an accident or coincidence you go to school where you do or that you work where you do. It is God who opened those doors and has placed you for this season of your life right where He wants you to be.

Never forget that your greatest witness for the Lord will always be how you live your life before others each day. People do notice. Also, the greatest thing you can share with someone, after how they can be saved, is what Jesus has done in your life. You are a living testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ! God has you at the school you go to, at the job you work at, living where you do, meeting people in the course of your daily activities, for a reason and purpose. Especially today where the better part of two full generations don’t go to church, you are the only Bible they will ever read and the only contact with Christ they will ever have.

However, there are some of you reading this today that God IS calling to a new level of commitment and service, and you know exactly who you are. God is speaking to you clearly through this message today. He is telling you that now is the time to step out in faith and trust Him. He has given you a special burden to serve Him and wants you to trust Him today. This word is simply His confirmation of what He has already been talking to you about. The fear and doubt you have are coming from satan. Now is the time to step out in faith, trust Him, and do with your life what you know God is calling you to do.

I love you and care about you so much. Our life is made up of different seasons, and in each season God gives us opportunities to serve Him. We do not have the promise of tomorrow, only the reality of today. I pray today that you will not waste this precious gift God has given to you. He has allowed you to wake up for a reason, and the ultimate reason is so that you can serve and glorify Him with your life. Should you be blessed with many years of life, at some point your body will begin to break down. You will experience sickness and poor health. Eventually you will die.

That is why during this season where you have a clear mind and good health, the mental and physical ability to do great things for God, you have to take advantage of them. Don’t allow satan to lull you into the belief that you will always be able to serve the Lord in the future. His lie is that you need to worry about yourself now, and you can serve God later. God has called ALL of His children, no matter what age you are, to serve Him now, not tomorrow. It is God, NOT YOU, that will provide for your day-to-day needs along your journey as He has promised.

In closing, I again want to speak directly to those of you who have been struggling with God’s calling on your life. For most, you are right where He wants you to be for this season. Keep being the salt of the earth, the light to this world in your school and in your workplace. But for some of you, God is calling you to step out in faith and fully and unconditionally surrender your life to Him today. He wants to use you in a special way in serving His Kingdom.

My counsel to you is this. Be honored God wants to use you. We get a few opportunities along our journey to do something great with our life. Not in the way the world judges greatness, but in the way God judges greatness. There is nothing greater you can do with your life than to serve the Lord. Step out in faith and trust the Lord to guide you and meet your every need, as you answer His call to service. God is calling you to make a difference with your life NOW!!!

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller

Holiday Love for Family

(1 Thessalonians 3:12)

Holiday love for family. One of the common prayer requests I see daily are requests for God to reconcile family members whose relationship has been broken for a myriad of reasons. One of our tests of spiritual maturity is our ability to forgive, pray for, and love someone who has wronged us. It is especially difficult when that someone is part of our family.

I am going to challenge you today to exhibit Christlike love this holiday season as you share this blessed time of year with family members.

Regardless of who is at fault, who is wrong, the circumstances involved, my challenge to you this holiday season is to make an attempt to reconcile that broken relationship. I realize in many cases this is going to be a very difficult task, but it is what God wants you to do, and He will give you the strength and courage to make the effort.

Let me say up front, you are not responsible for the actions of another, only your own. You cannot force a relationship with someone who refuses to accept you. But you can, and God requires you, to make the effort. At that point, it is in His hands. He is the one who has to move on the other person’s heart.

Much like in witnessing, you can never force someone to get saved. But God requires you to give them the opportunity, and after that, it is up to the power of the Holy Spirit to move on the person’s heart.

I am not going to elaborate very much today, because the challenge God has for you today is very simple, very straightforward. God is asking you to make the effort to reconcile this holiday season. Forget the reasons, forget what has happened in the past, make the effort in Christlike love. At that point, you have done what God has asked you to do, and it is then up to the other person to respond.

I know this is not easy, and in many cases very painful. I will be praying for you. I will be praying for His strength, words, and love to be with you in a way you never have known before. God is love. It is His desire to see His children love one another. What better Christmas present for God than to obey His voice and make the effort to reconcile your relationship with that family member you are separated from.

I love you and care about you so much. I will be praying today specifically for you to heed this challenge and to be obedient to God’s voice. I love you, care about you, and want to see you be all God has raised you up to be. One way we do that is by doing those things in life, even the painful things, that we know God expects us to do.

You will be surprised how much can be accomplished just with communication. The problems don’t disappear, they don’t wipe away in some cases years of pain, but God is able to heal and restore relationships. That is His desire for you this holiday season.

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller

A Great Tradition at Liveprayer is my Annual New Year’s Resolution Message

(Matthew 24:35)

A great tradition here at Liveprayer is my annual New Year’s resolution message. This the 11th year I have had the honor of sharing this special message, and tens of thousands of people have taken my challenge and read the Bible cover to cover in a year, something less than 10% of people who profess to be Christians have ever done. Have you? If not, I am praying that you will make this YOUR New Year’s resolution for 2010!

Having preached to several hundred thousand people in evangelistic meetings in churches of all denominations throughout the country, having ministered to millions via television and radio through the years, and having prayed for and intimately counseled thousands and thousands of people over my 18 years of ministry…I would have to say the biggest problem I have encountered with Believers is the vast majority have never read the instruction manual!!!

Statistical research shows that less than 10% of professing Christians have ever read the entire Bible. The church as a whole is Biblically illiterate! From time to time in my Devotional I will give my opinion on an issue and I am very careful to always let you know when it is Bill Keller’s opinion. Most of the time I just let God’s words speak for themselves. There is not one issue, one thing we deal with in everyday life that is not covered in the Bible.

How many people are in terrible marriages where one spouse is a nonbeliever. Do you think God admonished us to “not be unequally yoked” for nothing? How about those dealing with horrible illnesses because they abused themselves over the years with alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, and food. Does God not tell us our body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit? How many families are ripped apart by bitterness and hatred when the Bible commands us to “have love one for another,” to “forgive as Christ has forgiven you,” and to “love your enemies.” I have to be honest. In many cases it is not as much rebellion towards God as it is complete ignorance of God’s Word.

Like many men, I get a new electronic toy and the first thing I do is open the box, toss the instructions to the side, and start “putting it together.” Usually after a period of time when it is not working or I have broken something, I grab the instructions and put it together correctly. How much easier would it have been if I had done that first. It is the same in our walk with God. Many people claim they can’t hear God. God may be talking to you and you can’t hear Him because you don’t know what to be listening for. The Bible is one way that God speaks to us. If you want to hear God, just read the Book.

I know that those who get this Devotional each day are of above average intelligence which is why I am very direct and to the point. I share things knowing that you are smart enough to understand what God expects you to do, I don’t have to paint a picture. So if you ever listened to me at all, listen to what I am going to say to you now. This applies to everyone, even those that may have read the Bible cover to cover 100 times.

***It takes an individual of average reading ability 90 hours to read the entire Bible. That is one hour a day for 3 months, or one half hour a day for 6 months, or 15 minutes a day for 12 months. Most people make New Year’s resolutions. Here is one for you with eternal rewards and will be more valuable than losing 10 pounds that you will just put back on. Carve out one hour, 30 minutes, or 15 minutes every day starting January 1st and start reading at Genesis 1:1. One hour, 30 minutes, or 15 minutes, you choose. I suggest that for those 90 days, or 6 months, or the next 12 months, you get up that amount of time earlier than normal and do it the very first thing. Trust me, God will give you the strength you need during the day. Losing a little sleep will not kill you. Quite the opposite. It will save you 100 times that in lost sleep over the years from problems caused because you didn’t take time to read the instruction book.

( If you would like to listen to the “Walk thru the Bible in a year” via the telephone, the phone number is: 1-727.342.5672 )

Now listen, I understand that some of the Old Testament can be dry. The Jewish laws, the genealogy of kings, some of the prophetic books can be very confusing and at times boring. Plug on. Don’t get discouraged because you don’t understand everything you are reading. Having read the Bible cover to cover many, many, many times, each time is a new experience for me. You might have accepted this challenge before. This message is still for you! DO IT AGAIN! YOU CAN NEVER GET TOO MUCH OF GOD’S WORD!!!

WARNING: I am not the Bible answer man so don’t start flooding me with questions. I’ll pray for you anytime, but I cannot handle thousands of Bible questions. I do suggest though you keep a notepad of questions and talk them over with your pastor.

Trust me when I tell you, reading the Bible cover to cover will change your life. You will see things you never thought were in the Bible. You will see God’s warnings and promises to help you through tough times. Most of all, you will start to understand how God thinks. How can you please God if you don’t understand how He thinks? He knows you are not a mind reader. That is one reason He gave you the Bible so you could begin to understand what God expects from your life.

I promise you the time you spend reading the Bible cover to cover will be the most important time of your life. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of what I am challenging you to do. Start at the very beginning. That way you can see God from the creation of our world, to the very end. It is better than any book or movie you have ever read or seen.

The Bible is our final authority for all matters concerning this life. In this day of being politically correct, accepting everyone’s beliefs and ideas, we are in the mess we are morally and spiritually because we have gotten away from the black and white truth of God’s Word. We have no one to blame but ourselves. In this day of instant gratification, drive thru food, cell phones, fax machines, email, Federal Express, jet travel, we want what we want now and refuse to wait.

We have become lazy which is why we don’t take the time to read the Bible. I guarantee you that you will spend 90 hours plus in front of the television, the computer, with the newspaper, or doing something else that you enjoy. I am not saying quit living and enjoying your life. What I am saying is that you have the time, it is only a matter of whether this is a big enough priority for you to take the time.

I love you, care about you, and my heart breaks every day as I read the thousands of prayer requests I receive. How much heartache and pain could have been avoided if people would have only read the Book and followed the instructions. You cannot believe how much sense this life makes when you are living under the direction of God’s Word. As I say often, our way does not work, God’s way does!

I will be praying that the Lord really opens your heart and conviction floods you right now as you read these words. I can’t force you to do it, you have to want to do it. I will be praying and trusting the Holy Spirit to move on your heart to take this challenge, even now as you read these words. This will be the best New Year’s resolution you will ever make.

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller

I want to Encourage You Today

(Romans 8:28, Galatians 6:9)

I want to ENCOURAGE YOU today! I don’t know exactly what you are facing in your life this moment, I don’t know what your problems are, what trials and tribulations you are experiencing in your life right now. But I do know this, everyone reading these words today is going though something. No matter what it is, I want to give you a message right from the throne room of God…DON’T GIVE UP!!!

I am not going to tell you that all of your problems will be solved by the time you go to bed tonight, chances are they won’t. I am not going to tell you that everything will work out exactly the way you want it to, chances are they won’t. I am going to tell you, however, that God will provide the answers to whatever your problems may be. I am going to tell you, however, that God will work everything out. God promised us in His Word, “…and we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

God told me to tell you today…DON’T GIVE UP!

If you are battling with an illness in your body today…DON’T GIVE UP! If you are battling with your finances today…DON’T GIVE UP! If you are battling with your marriage today…DON’T GIVE UP! If you are you are battling with your employment or schooling today…DON’T GIVE UP! If you are battling with your children today…DON’T GIVE UP! If you are battling with an addiction today…DON’T GIVE UP! NO MATTER WHAT YOUR BATTLE IS TODAY…DON’T GIVE UP!

My friend, God loves you. He knows what you are going through in your life today. He has not abandoned you, He has not forsaken you. In your darkest hour you can be assured that God is right there with you. When everyone else has turned their back on you, when everyone else has run away, when nobody is left to stand with you…GOD IS STILL THERE! On the night He was betrayed, Jesus saw His disciples run from Him, deny even knowing Him, yet He was never alone because God was with Him. Even when those you love the most leave you, Jesus is there because He promised to “never leave you nor forsake you.”

God told me to tell you today…DON’T GIVE UP!

I love you and care about you so much. I want you to know that I am standing in the gap for YOU today. I am standing with you and believing God for your needs to be met. You may not see your answer today, or tomorrow, or next week, or next month, or even next year. God’s timing is not our timing, but God’s timing is always perfect. He is never a second too early, or a second too late. DON’T GIVE UP!

The children of Israel would have never seen the Promised Land had Moses given up. He wandered in the desert for forty years…FORTY YEARS! If God leaves us in the desert for forty minutes we are complaining! We can learn from Moses today that no matter what we are going though in our life, if we will continue to trust God, keep our faith in the Lord regardless what the circumstances may be, He will deliver us and meet our every need. The key however, is that you DON’T GIVE UP!

I will be praying for you today. Praying that the Lord will give you His peace no matter what you may be facing in your life at this moment. Praying that God will give you His strength today. Paul wrote to the church at Galatia to “…not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” As you wait on God to answer your prayers, to meet your needs, continue to be faithful. Remember that as we are about our Father’s business, He will be about our business!

God is saying to you that no matter what you are going through today…DON’T GIVE UP!!!

“Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” (1 Corinthians 15:58)

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Reaching People where they Live

(John 14:12)

“I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. ” John 14:12

Reaching people where they live! Last December 1st was a special day in the history of Liveprayer. Two years ago, God showed me that a new way to reach the lost and hurting masses with His Truth and the hope of Christ was through cell phones. As of November 2007, there were over 3.3 BILLION cell phones in use worldwide, 260 million of those in the US. That means roughly half of the world’s population has a cell phone. While Liveprayer has helped to pioneer the Internet over these past 10 years, both in the area of live streaming video and in using the Internet interactively to minister to people in a personal way, we are now set to do the same thing on cell phones.

One year ago, we launched the new Liveprayer Video Daily Devotional for cell phones. Any cell phone that has Internet access will be able to connect with this new ministry we are offering. Currently, 98% of the cell phones in Europe and Asia are Internet accessible, while the US lags behind with only 20% of its phones having internet accessibility. However, each month 1 million phones in the US are being added as older models are being replaced by newer ones.

There are several ways to access the new Liveprayer Video Daily Devotional on your cell phone. You can go to the website and there is a special section on the homepage to sign up your cell phone. Simply put in your 10 digit cell number in the box and hit the GO button. You will receive a text message within a few minutes that contains a special link. Go to the link in the text message and that will take you to the Liveprayer Video Daily Devotional homepage. You can also send a text with the word “Liveprayer” to 321-960-0387, and you will receive a text message with the link.

When the Liveprayer Video Daily Devotional homepage loads, there are 3 options. The first is TODAY’S VIDEO DAILY DEVOTIONAL. Under that is the title of the current day’s Video Daily Devotional. Both are links. Click on either one and it will play that days Video Daily Devotional which is 3-5 minutes in length.

The second option on the homepage is for Prayer Requests. This is neat! When you click on that link, it takes you to the text message area of your phone. You type in your name, cell number, prayer request, and hit send. Your prayer request goes through a special computer that converts it into an email and sends it into our Liveprayer email infrastructure. We will pray over your request and send you a personal response no later than in 12 hours, usually within the hour. Our personal response goes back through the special computer that converts it from an email back into a text message and routs that text message into your phone. So you send your prayer request through your text message system and receive your personal response back through your text message system. Amazing huh?

The third option is THIS WEEK’S VIDEOS. That link is an archive of the most recent 6 Video Daily Devotionals.

Now, tell me God isn’t amazing! I began working on this 3 years ago. I am not ashamed to admit that I got conned twice by people I still believe were well meaning, but simply could not deliver what they had promised. Despite losing several thousand dollars and being very frustrated, I keep on top of the advances in the cell phone industry, kept praying and asking God to bring the right group to us, and last year He did. Red Planet Media out of Orlando has been in the text messaging business for many years. They have incredible technical people and have been pioneering video on cell phones across multiple platforms, since every carrier has their own specifications. I thank God for bringing them into our life to help make this incredible vision possible.

Here is the best part. For the end user, IT IS FREE!!! Of course you have to pay whatever your cell phone company charges for Internet access and text messages ( I highly suggest people get the unlimited plans for Internet, data, and text ), but we don’t change you anything! If you are familiar with the world of cell phones, there is a charge for everything. If you download ring tones, wall paper, anything on your phone there is a charge. If you want any type of special services, there is a fee. We have the option of charging anywhere from $3.95 to $9.95 a month. If I had decided to charge $9.95 a month, with only 10,000 subscribers we would generate right at $100,000 a month.

As you can see, I could easily turn this into a multi-million dollar a year revenue stream if I wanted to simply turn this into a business geared towards people who were already Christians. FOR OVER 10 YEARS NOW, LIVEPRAYER HAS PROVIDED ALL OF OUR MINISTRY TO PEOPLE FOR FREE. THE BIBLE SAYS FREELY WE HAVE RECEIVED AND FREELY WE ARE TO GIVE. I DON’T DO THIS FOR MONEY..BUT FOR SOULS!

Even though it is going to cost Liveprayer thousands every month, depending on the number of users since we have to cover the cost of providing the video to the various carriers and pay the cell phone companies for each text message we send into their system, I have trusted God from day one nearly 20 years ago to provide for our needs, and He has. I am not going to stop walking by faith and trusting Him now!

The reason I have been pursuing this so hard for several years now, is because a huge percentage of those who we will reach are in the 25 and under demographic. This is the second full generation that the largest percentage has never been to church and has grown up in homes void of God and Biblical Truth. They have had their thoughts and values and beliefs shaped by this world that lives in rebellion to God.

Very few of these people would ever pay to get a Video Daily Devotional, nor would they ever think about texting a prayer request. However, since it is FREE, I know in my heart of hearts, we will eventually have hundreds of thousands, at some point millions of subscribers worldwide. These are people who would never hear the Gospel otherwise, never consider asking for prayer otherwise, and a large percentage of them will be 25 and under which is why most of my Video Daily Devotionals will be geared to young adults and teens.

I love you and care about you so much. I need to you to do three things for me today. First, is to pray and ask God’s blessings on this incredible outreach. Pray for His blessings and favor on our technology partner, since I can guarantee you 1,000% that they will come under incredible attacks for having anything to do with me and Liveprayer. Pray for the Lord to put a hedge of protection over the technology and that it will work flawlessly every minute of every day. Also, be praying for God to use this new outreach via cell phones to bring His Truth and hope into the lives of people all over the world who otherwise would never hear about His love for them, or know that He is their answer in the difficult times as well as the good times.

Second, is to get signed up. It doesn’t cost you anything to sign up. It only costs you if you watch the video or send a text message. Again, if you are smart, you have unlimited access to your Internet and text messages each month, which means it won’t cost you a penny to watch the Video Daily Devotional each day and to send us prayer requests via text. It is good that you get signed up and use the service, since I assure you that once you do you will be amazed and telling everyone you know about it.

That is the third thing. I am asking everyone to please commit some time this to get as many people as you know signed up, and ask them to share this with the people they know. The easiest way is to have them go to the homepage and put their cell number in on the special form. Please get your church to announce this in their bulletin, and especially make your youth leaders aware of this incredible new ministry so they can share it with the youth of the church. Post this info on any blogs or message boards you go to. Email this to every person you know, ask them to email it to everyone they know, so people are aware of this new, cutting edge use of technology to bring lost souls to faith in Jesus Christ.

I am going to continue to do use every ounce of my being to share the Truth of God’s Word with this rebellious world and bring the hope and love of Jesus Christ to the lost and hurting masses. Thank you for your love, prayers, and sacrificial support that enables me to be here each day to fulfill God’s calling on my life. Time is short. Jesus is coming at any moment. We need to be busy about our Father’s business. Please do all you can to help spread the world about the new Liveprayer Video Daily Devotion on cell phones. You will never know until Glory the souls that will be there because you took the time and effort to guide someone to a resource like Liveprayer that helped them find everlasting life through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ!!!

Christmas Day

(John 3:16)

The greatest gift you can give anyone this Christmas are the words of everlasting life. Forward this to someone that you know who is lost, and pray that God will open their hearts to receive HIS gift to the world… JESUS CHRIST!

Today is the day we celebrate the greatest gift ever given. We celebrate today the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, God’s gift to the world. Today is truly a day of rejoicing. Because of this gift from God, we can be forgiven of our sins and reunited with our Creator for eternity.

So much of what I deal with each day in this Devotional is to help you walk through this short journey here on earth victoriously and productively. But we must never forget that our time here is very brief and there is an eternity waiting for us when this journey is complete. I want to focus for just a minute on this most blessed day, to that split second when our life on this earth is finished and we are launched into eternity. Do you this day have the assurance that when your life is complete, your eternity is going to be spent in Heaven?

If the answer to that question is anything but a resounding YES, then let me just share this simple truth with you. You see, our God, our Creator so loved this world, so loved His creation, that He sent His son, His only Son to be part of this world. Jesus had one mission in this life. It wasn’t to be a great teacher, though He was a great teacher. It wasn’t to be a great prophet, though He was a great prophet. It wasn’t to be a great miracle worker, though He did work many great miracles. No my friend, Jesus came to this world with only one job…to die.

You see, the reason it was vital for Jesus to be immaculately conceived by God and born of a virgin was so that He was not infected with the same problem you and I were born into this life with….sin. Otherwise, the best He could have done was die for His own sins. Jesus lived on this earth for some 33 years before it was time to complete His work. That work was finished on a cross on the hill called Calvary where He hung and then died as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of this world.

That is why, whosoever believes in Jesus, shall not perish for eternity, but have everlasting life! Believing in Jesus is the only way to be saved because it was Jesus who died and was sacrificed for our sins. There are no other ways to be saved, no other roads back to God, there are no other plans of salvation. This is God’s one and only plan to reconcile his fallen creation back to Himself. This is the only way you can escape eternity apart from the God who created you in His own image. It is through His grace and by faith in Jesus Christ!

There are many incredible mysteries in the Bible. There are many doctrinal issues that will never be fully understood until we are in Heaven. But God made the most important decision of this life very easy and simple to understand. He gave every one the opportunity to have their sins washed away and be assured of an eternity in Heaven.

That is why we celebrate Christmas today! That is why we put our faith and trust in Jesus Christ. The most important decision you will make in this life is not who you will marry, where you will live, what kind of job you will have. The most important decision you will make in this life is to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.

If you have not done that yet, the Bible says that today is the day of salvation. I would invite you to go to my website, and click on the button that says PLAN OF SALVATION (direct link: ). Read those words, pray that prayer, and accept today God’s gift to you this Christmas, the gift of His son Jesus.

I love you and care about you deeply. For those of you who already know Christ as your Savior, I would encourage you to forward this email to someone you know who is lost and without hope this Christmas. What better present to give someone than the opportunity to know Jesus as their Savior.

I pray today that you will take time out of the busy day of travel, visiting friends and family, to focus on the gift God has given to us in His son Jesus. He gave His very best gift to us, which is why I will continue to encourage you to give your very best everyday to Him.

May you and your family have a most blessed celebration of our Lord’s birth!

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller
