(Ecclesiastes 12:13)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, give me Your strength today. Your Word says that when I am weak, You are strong. Strengthen me this day to live my life for You, to defeat my enemies, and see victory. You, and You alone are my hope and strength each day. Let the Holy Spirit rise up in me this day and guide my life for Your glory! In the name of Jesus I pray…AMEN!!!

If you accept the Bible for what it is, God’s inspired, inerrant word representing Absolute Truth and our final authority in all matters, then Solomon was the wisest man that ever lived. Over the years, I have carefully studied his life, the things he said, trying to tap into his wisdom. As a man, like all men, Solomon made many mistakes in his life and gave into the temptations of this sinful world on many occasions. It doesn’t make me feel any better, but it does help when I make mistakes to know that even the wisest man who ever lived also made many mistakes! during
his life.

I have torn apart the Book of Ecclesiastes many times and have spent countless hours reading Solomon’s summation of this life. In looking back over his life, having had all that anyone who lives in this world could ever want, the word that Solomon used over and over was “meaningless.” As he looked back, he realized that in the end all of the temporal things of this world were exactly that, meaningless. It is actually a pretty negative book until you get to the next to last verse. As only the wisest man who ever lived could, in 6 words Solomon summed up what this life is all about, “FEAR GOD AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS”.

This may sound like an oversimplification, but it really isn’t. The Hebrew word for fear is not the type of fear you have when you are afraid, but literally means to be in awe, in reverence. That should always be our attitude towards God, awe and reverence.

Keeping His commandments refers to obeying the Word of God. My friend, if we ! can do
this throughout our life, fear God and keep His commandments, we have found the key to what this life is really all about since this is the whole duty of man.

You see, this world honors those who lead great armies into war, rule empires and nations, those who have amassed tremendous wealth, people who are responsible for accomplishing incredible feats during their life. But all of these great accomplishments are only temporary. The truly great accomplishments in this life are the things we do that will stand for eternity.

Sharing with people the truth of God’s Word, leading the lost to an everlasting relationship with Jesus Christ, helping those who know Christ become all God wants them to be. These are things the world will never see, but God will remember. Solomon at the end of his long, successful, and distinguished life on this earth summed it all up by saying that the whole duty of man is to fear God and keep His commandments.

I love you and care about! you so
much. I tell you often to stay focused on the things above as opposed to the things of this life. I pray today that you will take a long hard look at your goals and priorities, and make fearing God and keeping His commandments number one. Our purpose in this life is to serve and glorify God. If fearing Him and keeping His commandments is how to fulfill His purpose for our life, then that must be our top priority each day.

I pray today that you will listen to the wisdom of Solomon and that each day the most important thing in your life will be to “fear God and keep His commandments.” That my friend is the whole duty of man and the bottom line to what this life is all about!!!

In His love and service,

Your friend, brother, and co-laborer in Christ,

Bill Keller

(Matthew 6:25-33)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Father, I pray, today, for each person who is reading these words. You know exactly where they are at today financially. I pray that whatever they have today is multiplied many times over in the coming weeks and months. Bless them in the area of their finances, Father, so that they may not only care for their day-to-day needs of those they are responsible for, but so that they may feed the poor around the world, those who are materially poor as well as those who are spiritually poor. I pray today, a prayer of BLESSING on the finances of the person reading these words. Whatever we have in this life comes from You and is Yours Father. May we be faithful in managing what You have given to us. Multiply many times over what You have currently given to the person reading this word today and allow them to be a great blessing to the work of God throughout the world. I pray BLESSINGS over the finances of the person read! ing these
words today for the glory of Almighty God. In the name of Jesus. Amen!

Every day I get a breakdown, by category, of the 40,000+ prayer requests we receive here at Liveprayer. The top three each day are always health, relationships, and finances. These three issues transcend age, race, nationality, and financial status. They are the common bond all men who live this life share. Everyone deals with health issues at some point in their life. Everyone deals with relationship issues at some point in their life. Everyone deals with financial issues at some point in their life. I have dealt often with the health and relationship challenges we all face, and today I want to focus on finances.

Money is a necessary part of living this in this world. We must have money to survive. The Bible has lots to say about money. I rarely recommend resources, but for those struggling in this area of your life or simply looking to be better stewards of your money, I would look into gett! ing
anything written by a dear friend, Dave Ramsey. Dave is a man God has raised up in this day to teach people the Biblical truths regarding finances.

I want to focus today on where you are financially right now. Many who read this are not having any problems with their finances, while others are struggling. Some people have been blessed with a tremendous abundance of resources and other people have virtually nothing. Regardless, if you find yourself today with a surplus of money or without any at all, never forget that it is God who is your source and it is God who supplies your every need throughout this life. God knows and understands the basic necessities of life like food, shelter and clothing.

“It has been a rough year. We lost 3 of our large customers. That loss is equal to 25%. We have given it to God and now are asking for prayers. We started this company 23 years ago. Bill, we appreciate what you and Live Prayer do for us every day. Thank you again and God Bless.”

“I have not been able to support you and your organization for several years. The reasons are because we have hardly been able to pay our bills. College was expensive. And now my husband has lost his job and he has not worked since January. Could you please pray that my husband can get a job and that I will be successful in getting a teaching job?”

“Thank you for everything you do. I pray your financial situation will become better very soon. I am asking for your prayers on my finances today. My company is doing well but I do have a $16,000 vehicle loan to pay off. I have a l! ot more
personal debt to pay off, too.”

“Still haven’t been able to sell that piece of commercial property and am getting close to the point of using its collateral almost to the point of when a sale comes there won’t be much left. I am thinking about a new business that to start with won’t need much cash but am hesitant about pulling the trigger, maybe too conservative.”

“Please pray for me and my family Bill. My husband embezzled millions of dollars and was living with another woman for years in another state. I knew nothing about either of his actions. I was home raising our 4 sons alone and he would come home on weekends acting like the loving, devoted husband and father he portrayed. He left me and left our family in dire straits. I haven’t worked in years. I’ve been working for a year now and by the grace of God am making it. I am 2 months behind on our mortgage, and squeaking by with the other bills but, our Lord has been providing for us! Thank You for LivePrayer! it keeps
me going.”

“I’m asking for prayer for my business and my finances. I work in construction and the real estate market in southern California, The industry has had a lot of changes after the fallout of lenders in 2007 and 2008. It has been a difficult 10 years. I continue to look for ways to produce income and trust the lord for his provision. Thank you for standing with me in prayer.”

“Dear Bill, I find myself in a financial lack due largely to helping my grandson & family get reestablished. I need your prayers. Also, I’m praying for you & Liveprayer. Thank you!”

“Bill, II need your prayers. If I can make enough money, start regular advertising, and get a contractor’s license and start making even more, I can properly support my wife and allow her to stop working two full-time jobs just to keep us in the house.”

“I’m struggling financially with A LOT of debt.”

“I am asking for prayer in my finances today. God bless you!”

“I am facing some f! airly
serious financial challenges.”

“At the risk of being redundant, though you know a little of what I’m dealing with. I am again bringing forth my financial situation in prayer, BK, particularly the legal case.”

I love you and care about you so much. I want to encourage you and pray for you today. For those of you who God has blessed financially, never forget that to whom much is given, much is required. For those of you who are facing great financial obstacles in your life today, now is the time to make your faith real and trust that God will provide as He promised in His Word. Even if you don’t have great financial wealth, you are still accountable to God for what He does bring into your hands, so be faithful with what He provides.

Whatever we have in this life has been given to us by God and belongs to Him. We are simply stewards of what He has put into our care. I pray that you will seek the Lord and get His wisdom and discernment in how you can always be ! a good
steward of the resources that He has entrusted to you. God wants to use you regardless of the amount of money you have to be a blessing to others.

The Bible has much to say about the care of the poor. We immediately think of the poor as being those who have no money, but this also includes the spiritually poor, those people who are living without the hope and love of Christ in their life. Everyone can do something with what God has given you to be a blessing to those who are financially poor as well as those who are spiritually poor.

The real story of the Covington High School kids controversy!

(John 8:44)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Father, I know this is an evil and sin-filled world I live in. Please, protect me, but don’t let me be afraid. Let me be bold in declaring Your Truth to this lost world and not be afraid to speak up. Now more than ever I need Your strength to be the servant You have called me to be. Help me, strengthen me, and guide me to do Thy will. In the name of Jesus I pray…AMEN!

The real story of the Covington High School kids controversy! Most people by now have heard of the event in Washington DC the weekend before last involving a group of high school boys from a Catholic High School in Covington, Kentucky. I actually wrote much of this Daily Devotional early last week, but it seemed every day the story was moving, it didn’t seem to settle and I am glad I waited. In reality, it never should have been a story in the first place. Once it did, it should have been over in a day at most. As each day passed, it became an ! incredible
teaching moment. All who profess to be followers of Jesus Christ, MUST understand what this seemingly isolated event is saying!

This non-story became a HUGE story when a group of high schoolers from a Catholic High School in Covington, Kentucky went to Washington DC to take part in the 46th annual “March for Life.” The 46th anniversary of this march commemorates the saddest court ruling in our nation’s history, Roe v. Wade, that legalized infanticide in this nation. Not that you would know if you watched any news on major mainstream outlets the weekend before last, but over 100,000 came to Washington DC to take part in this march for LIFE!

As the march ended, the high schoolers were gathered on the Mall waiting for their buses to take them back to Kentucky. As they waited, they were being yelled at and taunted with vile racist and profane language by a group associated with the Black Hebrew Israelites. This is a group of Black Americans who believe that ! they are
descendants of the ancient Israelites and pushes a very racist ideology, often with violence. The entire premise of this group is totally false and without any scientific proof they have lineage to the Jewish people.

As the Black Hebrew Israelites were screaming disgusting comments at the high school kids, a small group of Native American activists showed up. They were led by Nathan Phillips, a Native American political activist and member of the Omaha people. Phillips waded into the group of high schoolers playing a ceremonial drum while chanting Native American lyrics. He ended up face to face with one of the Covington High School kids by the name of Nick Sandmann. Sandmann stood his ground and the two were face to face for several minutes, Phillips banging his drum and Sandmann simply staring at him.

At this point, most people with any common sense would say, OK…and? Well, the “and” was someone using their cellphone to record Phillips banging his dr! um inches
away from Sandmann, while Sandmann did nothing but stare at him, a stare that would soon be labeled a “smirk.” Again, most people would say….and? The only way this confrontation would ever become a story of any kind was if this confrontation escalated into a physical altercation between the high school kids and the Native American activists, or possibly the Black Hebrew Israelites.

That didn’t’ happen! It ended very quickly with the high school kids moving on to their bus, Phillips was still banging his drum and chanting, and the Black Hebrew Israelites still hurling profanity at the high school kids. However, whoever was taking the cellphone video posted it on social media and it quickly went viral as hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands, even millions of people viewed the video. A loose end to this event is still unknown, since the Twitter account that posted the original video was most likely a “bot” used to spread the video to other “bots” i! n order to spread it
exponentially over social media platforms.

I know, anyone using common sense is still saying…and?

Over the next 12-16 hours, social media was blowing up as people were seeing this video clip of a high school kid smirking arrogantly at a Native American man, not moving an inch. People all over the country and literally around the world began to rip to shreds the high school kid for his arrogance and bullying of the elder Native American man who claimed to be a Vietnam vet.

Journalists from the New York Times and other major news outlets as well as Hollywood elites also began to chime in on social media. They brutally attacked Sandmann and his classmates, many giving out his home address (doxing), many threatening violence, others sharing the brutal way these high school kids should be killed.

Oh, a couple of small details I need to add. The high school kids were all white, all male, and Sandmann and many other students were wearing red MAGA (Make ! America
Great Again) hats! Remember, they were also students at a Christian school and had just participated in the pro-life march.

Well, over the next 24 hours the rest of the story, as the great Paul Harvey would say, started to emerge. Videos of the event began to emerge showing all that happened BEFORE AND AFTER the original viral video started. The original video had nothing of the vile language being hurled at the kids by the Black Hebrew Israelites. The full video also showed that there was NO VIOLENCE and that the high schoolers left the area once their bus arrived.

The real story of Mr. Phillips also began to emerge. He has a long history of political activism. While he was in the marines, he was NEVER in Vietnam as he claimed. He actually went AWOL on three separate occasions. Phillips seems to show up at various events and inserts himself for whatever notoriety he can garner. He is a nobody who uses his Native American heritage for attention.

By ! Tuesday,
this story, non-story should have been over. The press once again looked like fools for jumping the gun without all of the facts. Sadly in the time we are living that is nothing new. But the story kept going! To my amazement, the press began once again to attack Sandmann and his classmates even AFTER all of the facts were known! They basically concluded that they deserved to be harassed, doxed, threatened because they were white, male, dared to wear MAGA hats, Christian, and pro-life! The actual facts of what happened no longer mattered!

Let me bottom line this for you. First, if anyone wondered news no longer exists. As someone who went to Ohio State in the mid-70s majoring in journalism, there is no such thing as real journalism any longer. It is all propaganda and opinion. People can call themselves journalists, THEY ARE NOT. I don’t care what news outlet you access, I don’t care how many times they claim to be fair, objective, unbiased, they are not.! News is now
entertainment, opinion, and propaganda, PERIOD!

The ONLY reason this non-story was a story is because it involved white males, Trump supporters, Christians, and pro-life. The vast majority of the media today is involved in a daily drum beat that if you are white you are a racist. If you are male you are a monster. If you support President Trump you are a dumb, toothless, hick that secretly hates anyone who doesn’t look like you. If you are a Christian you believe in fairy tales. If you are pro-life you hate women.

Let me prove it. After the killing of 17 students at a Ft. Lauderdale high school last Valentine’s Day, the media made heroes ou! t of several
of the students since they embraced an anti-gun (gun confiscation) message the media propagates. The very same media treated the students at Covington High School like the most vile human beings on the face of the earth!

I love you and care about you so much. There is an all-out assault currently being waged on the male gender. If you are white, you have been the beneficiary of white privilege. People who wear a MAGA hat are the equivalent of those who used to wear the white hoods of the KKK. Christians are hate mongers and bigots since they follow God’s Word and oppose all that satan stands for. If you are pro-life you simply want to control women.

Each morning, we can either wake up and bring God’s Word to this lost and hurting world, or stay silent and watch satan destroy the culture while leading as many souls to hell as possible. For the past 25 yrs of ministry, 20 yrs here at Liveprayer plus our 15 yrs of the Liveprayer TV program, I have refused to be silent! I won’t go away and I will battle with my last breath the enemy of our souls for every inch of the marketplace and for every

***CRITICAL JANUARY FINANCIAL UPDATE!!! I really need your help today! With only 3 days left in January, we have brought in $19,000 of the $55,000 we require for our January ministry operations. That means we need to cover the final $36,000 over these final 3 days!!! January is traditionally a slow month since many people are recovering financially from increased spending during the holidays.

$22,000 of that $36,000 balance is required IMMEDIATELY, and the final $14,000 by the 31st! Please, take a moment and pray what you can do to help me insure these critical ministry operational amounts are taken care of!!! Please be in prayer about what the! Lord is
calling you to sacrifice in the first month of this new year, whether it is $10, $20, $50, $100, $1,000 or more, and give cheerfully unto the Lord as a testimony of HIS mercy and grace in your life!

Robbing God, and no, this has NOTHING to do with money!!! Those who have put their faith in Christ and accepted God’s free gift of everlasting life, understand that God has given His very best in offering Jesus as a sacrifice for our sins. He gave it all in order that we wo! uld have a
way to be reconciled back to our creator and live for eternity with Him. God gave His very best, but each day do we give our very best to Him?

The priests in the Old Testament were often guilty of offering up to God during their sacrifices, the worst crops, the worst animals, the bare minimum they could. How often are we guilty of the same behavior? Today we don’t follow the Old Testament laws, but our daily sacrifice is our lives.. our time…our talents. How many days do we do the minimal amount for God, giving Him less than our best???

All I am trying to do is to get you to realize that God has done so much for us, and we get comfortable doing the least amount for Him in return. We grudgingly go to church to be fed spiritually, we complain about giving to those causes which God is using to bless people, and we hesitate to volunteer our precious time to help others. We live our lives in a way to give God as little as possible.

Pray today that you might be! gin to
give God your very best. He has blessed many of you with incredible talents to do many things. Don’t hoard those talents for your own benefit, but use those talents for the benefit of the Kingdom. He hasn’t blessed you so you can hold onto those blessings, but that you might in return bless others. Give God your very best today.

I love you and care about you so much. I will be praying for you, praying that you will spend a few minutes giving thought to how much more you could and should be giving God. He gave His very best for you, is it too much to ask for you to give your very best to Him? Trust me, you can’t out give God. The more you give, the more you receive. Don’t hold back and don’t hang on. God gave it to you so that you could use it to give to others. After all, when this life is over, the only thing any believer should want to hear is, “well done, thou good and faithful servant.”

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Lord, USE ME in these perilous, last days, as a messenger of Your hope in Jesus. Father, make me aware of the people You have put in my life each day, many who will die and burn in hell for all eternity for rejecting Christ, and use me as a vessel of Your love and hope. I thank You for sending Jesus to die for my sins that I might know the free gift of everlasting life, and I ask today that You help me to lead others to that wonderful eternal relationship with Christ. For it is in HIS name I pray…AMEN!

Why is a school helping a 15-year-old CHILD get an abortion? A true story out of Se! attle, Washington
should horrify all parents. A 15-year-old girl went to the school’s clinic and took a pregnancy test. The test came back positive and the school helped facilitate this young girl to take a cab to an abortion clinic during school hours, get an abortion, and return before the end of the school day. ALL OF THIS HAPPENED WITHOUT ANYONE NOTIFYING THE 15-YEAR-OLD CHILD’S PARENTS!!!

For all of you parents, how would you feel if you found out AFTER THE FACT that your child’s school had facilitated her getting an abortion?

Listen, I am not going for a second lessen the responsibility of the young girl involved or her parents. It is critical that young boys and girls understand that sex is not a game and killing babies is murder! Both the girl and her parents must be held accountable for their actions, however, there is simply no excuse for a school to be involved in helping a child kill a baby without any notification of the parents. That is simply not acceptable!

T! he
culture of death is hanging over this nation like a black cloud! God created man never to die. Physical and spiritual death were never part of God’s plan for man. However, it was man, exercising his God-given free will that introduced both forms of death into the human experience. Death is from the pits of hell itself, while life is from God. Satan comes to KILL, steal, and destroy and is synonymous with death. It is through faith in Jesus Christ that man is promised everlasting life and conquers death. Christ came to give life and life abundantly and He is synonymous with life.

Sadly, this has become a nation that has embraced, even glorifies death. Because we have separated ourselves so far from God, we no longer value life. Life is no longer viewed as special or treated as sacred. Many people ask me why I talk about abortion so often and the fact we slaughter over 4,000 innocent babies in this nation every 24 hours. It is because people have become numb and desensit! ized to

I’ll prove it to you. Let me ask you a very legitimate question. Answer honestly. Did you think at all today about the FACT that in the past 24 hours, apx 4,000 innocent babies were slaughtered in this nation? Did you?

We have simply come to live with the fact that we practice legalized infanticide and we don’t even give it a second thought. People die in floods, fires, car wrecks hurricanes, tornadoes and we mourn. 3,000 innocent lives were lost on 9/11 and we consider that the greatest act of terror on our soil. Yet we don’t even give a second thought to the fact that every 24 hours, another 4,000 innocent lives are destroyed! What kind of sick and perverted nation allows such a thing to happen?

We read in the Bible how Herod, after the birth of Jesus, sent his men to kill every baby under the age of two years. They literally ripped babies out of the arms of the mothers and killed them on the spot. Even though I have read that passage of Scriptur! e 1,000
times, each time I read it in horror. What kind of monster would do such a thing to innocent babies? Yet, we are no better than Herod.

Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York, just celebrated making the killing of innocent babies a “right” in that state. That “right” entails the ability to kill an innocent baby for any reason at any time. Any time literally up to the moment that child is ready to be delivered.

Children are born into this culture of death and brainwashed from birth that life has no meaning. Through the media that bombards them with images of violence and death, to the games they play, they are desensitized to death from birth. Just 20 minutes from the Liveprayer offices, a 9-year-old boy hung himself in his closet with a couple of belts after dinner. In Arizona, an 8-year-old shot and killed his father and his father’s friend. This was not an accidental shooting, but a deliberate act of murder. Teen and child suicide, teens involved in premedi! tated murder, are
both on the rise in this nation.

Several years ago in Florida, a 19-year-old was logged onto a video chat site and with thousands of people online, cheering him on, he overdosed and died, LIVE ON THE INTERNET! We are aghast and disturbed by this. But don’t worry, there will be copycats killing themselves live on the Internet in the coming months, and pretty soon it won’t be a big deal. We’ll simply accept that people are committing suicide live on the Internet just like we accept and are used to people jumping off of high profile bridges to their death.

I love you and care about you so much. Please wake up!!! We not only live in, but we accept this culture of death that hangs over our nation. Jesus came to deliver us from death. Jesus won the victory over death. We do not have to accept this black cloud of death that hangs over our land. It is time Christians took our stand and loudly, boldly, visibly proclaimed LIFE! Children are growing up without any understan! ding of
where life came from and how precious it is. So it is no wonder why they have embraced death to the extent they have.

Are you ready to take your stand for Christ??? Liveprayer is a life-changing vehicle God has been using for 20 years now to impact literally tens of millions of lives all over the world. We have tapped into the great technology of our day to reach the world and individual lives with the Truth of God’s Word and the hope and love of Jesus Christ. I can’t do this alone. Now more than ever it is critical for each person who knows the Lord to step up and allow Him to use your life.

I refuse to accept this culture of death we live in. I am asking you to take your stand for Christ and help me change this nation into a culture of LIFE, abundant now and everlasting through faith in Jesus Christ!!!

In His love and service,

Your friend, brother, and co-laborer in Christ,

(James 1:22)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Lord, thank you for meeting my daily needs as You have promised in your Word. I look to You and Your alone for my sustenance through life, and thank You for Your faithfulness. Please help me to be a good steward of the funds You entrust into my care during this life, and give me favor in my finances, and wisdom in my decisions. In the name of Jesus I pray…AMEN!

So many Christians are content to sit on the sidelines, listening, watching, experiencing the fullness of the Christian life vicariously through others. What I am about to say is going to get me in trouble, but it won’t be the first time. One of the popular Christian magazines each month has become little more than an advertising vehicle for this Holy Ghost Conference, that Camp meeting of the Millennium, the annual Partners Only Crusade, Women’s meetings, Men’s meetings, and on, and on, and on.

Listen, I am in no way trying to minimize, j! udge, or
criticize what other ministries are doing. My Bible says that we need to be united, support one another, and that God is working through many different types of instruments. The point I want to make is that the people of God have gotten very fat and lazy with all of the Christian celebrities and the Christian entertainment that our culture has produced. Again, there is nothing wrong with producing the finest quality radio, television, movie, and stage productions to help share the message of Christ.

The point I am trying to get across is that it has made too many of God’s people lazy and more comfortable sitting on the sidelines watching, which was never God’s plan!!!

I am a big believer in education and listening to God’s anointed teachers of the Word to learn all we can. But while we are hearing the Word, we, also, must be doing the Word. All of the commands in the Gospels, the Book of Acts, Paul’s letters, and the other New Testament writings were to b! e active
participants in our faith, helping others, witnessing, teaching new believers.

Spiritual gifts have become such a controversial topic and I will deal with that issue soon, but God gave gifts to His people to be active DOERS of the Word, not idle bystanders. He has given each one of His children gifts and abilities to help advance the Kingdom of God. Jesus taught in many parables that it is a sin to not utilize the gifts God has given you.

In a past Devotional I spoke of the sin of omission. I want to make sure you clearly understand today, that it is a sin to not use the gifts and talents God has blessed you with to serve Him!!!

That does not mean you have to quit your job and become a missionary to a third-world country, or sell everything to start a ministry. God may call you to do that. However, for most of His children, He has called you to serve Him exactly where you are today. It is no accident you live where you live, go to school where you do, work ! where you
do, or recreate and shop where you do. God has placed you there strategically to be a light to others.

The most effective way we can serve God is in our normal day-to-day life. Letting our Godly lifestyle be a living testimony to those we come in contact with. Helping those around us in a time of need. Getting involved in projects and ministries through our local church.

I love and care about you so much. I will be praying for you today, that these words will cause you to stop and reflect on your life. Ask yourself if you are on the sidelines or are actively living the Christian life God has called you to live. Are you using your gifts and talents for Him? Take inventory today of whether you are not only hearing the Word, but DOING the Word.

I care about you as a brother and sister in Christ. I want to see you be all you can be and all God has called you to be for Him. Remember, our greatest and most effective service is rarely those big things we may be in! volved in
for the Kingdom, but the quiet, one-on-one ministry to someone who is hurting and looking for hope. Everyone who knows Christ can tell someone that Jesus loves them. Everyone that knows Christ can testify to what Jesus has meant in their life. Everyone who knows Christ can share the love and hope we have in Him with someone.

My friend, be a DOER of the Word!!!

In His love and service,

Your friend, brother, and co-laborer in Christ,

Is the Internet is causing people to lose their religion?

(James 4:4)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, please help us to wake up as a nation before it is too late. We have squandered your blessings, taken advantage of your love and grace, and deserve your wrath. Please oh Lord, be merciful for a few more hours and give your undeserving people one last chance to repent of our sins and turn our hearts and lives back to you. In the name of Jesus I pray…AMEN!

The Internet is causing people to lose their religion, so says a new US study that was released recently by a researcher and computer scientist. The study indicated that aside from other factors, such as parental affiliation and college attendance contributing to a decrease in religious beliefs, the internet has been attributed as one of the biggest factors. While it may be a logical conclusion someone outside of Christendom could arrive at, it is 100% WRONG!!!

The case is made that because of the Internet, people now have access to more info! rmation,
information that allows them to “think for themselves.” This access to information via the Internet also refutes the existence of God, proves the Bible is little more than a book of myths and fantasies, and following Jesus is a waste of time since there is no such place as heaven or hell!

There is no doubt that the Internet has become a place for those who reject God’s existence, who Jesus really was, and the Truth of the Bible, to openly express their beliefs. There are literally thousands and thousands of websites that those who are looking to reinforce their rejection of Christianity can go to in order to find information to support that rejection.

The reason the conclusion of this study is 100% wrong is that the decline of Christianity in this nation is not because of the information available on the Internet, but what I have been sharing in the Daily Devotional these past 20 years. It is the fact the better percentage of the past two generations have never b! een to
church, the breakdown of God’s plan for the family which forms the foundation of our society, that are huge contributors to the decline of Christianity. Add to those two factors a nation that operates in open rebellion to God and His Truth found in the Bible, and a culture that openly promotes and glorifies the things God’s Word defines as sin.

Lastly, a weak, apathetic, gutless, money-motivated, compromised church that is more focused on building its’ kingdom than God’s, has to bear a huge portion of the blame for the decline in Christianity in this nation. The church would rather entertain people than train people in the work of the Lord. It would rather build buildings than men and women of God. It equips itself with every modern technological marvel instead of equipping the saints. Raising money has become the prime motivation instead of saving souls!!!

I love you and care about you so much. The truth is, the Internet, while being used to destroy lives and pr! ovide
people with the lies they need to justify their unbelief, has been an instrument God has used in a POWERFUL way! Just look at Liveprayer! Over the last 20 years, Liveprayer has become by far the world’s largest interactive Christian website. We’ve sent out over 7,000 Daily Devotionals that began going out to a handful of people and are now are received by over 2.5 million people worldwide every single day, impacting tens of millions of lives worldwide since we began!

We have received and responded to over 130 million email prayer requests. We have accumulated a Praise Report archive with over 13 million testimonies of God’s faithfulness. Most important of all, over 1.3 million souls we know of who have come to faith in Jesus Christ through Liveprayer!!! While many have used the Internet to lead people away from God’s Truth found in the Bible and faith in Christ, Liveprayer has proved it can be a mighty instrument in the hands of God to minister to people in their hour ! of need,
bring His Truth into the marketplace, and save souls.

While it would be nice to blame the Internet for the decline in Christianity in this nation, it simply isn’t the case. This is a nation that has forsaken its’ relationship with God, and exchanged that relationship for one with the world. The Bible proclaims that a friend of this world is an enemy of God. Our nation has sadly become God’s enemy, living in blatant unrepentant sin, and that rebellion against the Almighty is the reason for the decline in Christianity!!!

In His love and service,

Your friend, brother, and co-laborer in Christ,

Bill Keller
