Fear Not

(Isaiah 41:10)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, this nation is under your judgment for our sin, wickedness, and rebellion. Help me to be courageous as I stand for you in these perilous times. Use me as a beacon of your light in the darkness of our world today. Though our enemies surround us, the world around me curses you, help me to stand for your Truth that will ultimately defeat the lies of satan. May the evil of this world become so apparent, people will begin to bow their knee to you in repentance knowing YOU are their only hope and only answer! In the name of Jesus…AMEN!!!

Fear not. As I was in prayer this morning about what God would have me say to you today, He brought this powerful verse from the book of Isaiah into my mind and told me that many of you today needed to be encouraged and reassured that God had not left you.

The Bible promises us that He will never leave us nor forsake us. Let me say it this way, God has NEVER left you, although you may have left Him. How can you fear anything…any person, any situation, any circumstance, when God is there with you? But the promise of this verse just doesn’t end with His presence.

To me, the power in the verse is His promise to help us. Every morning, when I look into the mirror in my bathroom, the first thing I see is a Bible verse from John that simply says, “Without me you can do nothing.” I never want to start the day trusting in my own strength or wisdom, but trying to rely on what God provides.

It is such a comfort to know that God is with me and that He is helping me. That is why I have such confidence, even in the face of what appears to be overwhelming odds. God is with me, He is helping me, and the Bible says that if He is with me, who can be against me! That promise also applies to you!!!!

I want you to put this truth in your heart and mind, and start living a confident, victorious life..NOW!!! There is no better time than now to put God to the test. If he said it, believe it, and live it. When you are driving down the freeway at 60 MPH and there are cars all around you going just as fast or even faster, you are trusting those other drivers literally with your life. When you get on an airplane, you are trusting the pilot to get you up and down safely. There are so many times each day that you are putting your faith in trust in people you don’t even know.

If you are willing to blindly trust total strangers every day, why not put your trust in the God of the universe, the God who loved you so much He sent His son to die for your sins, the God that not only promises to never leave you, but help you.???

I love you and care for you deeply. I want to see you rise above whatever the situations in your life may be, live that victorious life. Not only do you than become a living testimony of God’s power, but you are then free to serve Him without being so distracted by the events in your life. Overcoming the hurdles in your life gives you the freedom to help others overcome their hurdles.

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller

Most People Want to Dismiss Evil as a Fairy Tale

(Micah 7:2; 2 Timothy 3:1,2)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, please be with the families who have lost loved ones in the recent weather tragedies across our nation, as well as those who have lost their homes, businesses, and have had their lives turned upside down. I ask that you be with them in a special way during this difficult time as you strengthen and comfort them. Guide them through this time of turmoil and give them your peace and blessings as they move forward. We ask this in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus…AMEN!

Most people want to dismiss evil as a fairy tale, but what happened in the United States on 9/11 was an example of evil. The recent home invasion in Washington DC where a father, mother, son, and housekeeper were tortured and killed was an example of evil. The tens of thousands of babies aborted each day worldwide is an example of evil. ISIS is an example of evil!

First, understand that God is NOT the author of evil. Evil stems from the rebellious hearts of man. Man has to make choices throughout the day, to either obey God, or rebel against Him. Evil is a manifestation of that rebellion. Those who choose to follow God, make choices that build people up, advance the cause of God on this earth, are positive. Those who choose to reject God, make choices that destroy people, oppose the plan of God for this world, are negative. To be blunt, those who follow God are good, those who choose to reject God are evil. This may sound harsh, but evil can ONLY come from those who are in rebellion to and reject God!

Satan is the embodiment of evil. He rejected God and was cast out of Heaven, and his entire purpose is to oppose the work of God. Satan is the poster boy for rebellion against God…for evil! The simple fact is that any time that you rebel against God in your life, any time that you reject His way, you contribute to the evil that is in this world. Evil ONLY EXISTS because of the rebellious hearts of man. As hard as this may be to accept, the fact is, every time that you reject God, every time that you choose to ignore God, YOU ARE SIDING WITH SATAN AND ARE CONTRIBUTING TO THE EVIL THAT IS IN THIS WORLD!

I love you and care about you so much. The motivation for this Devotional today was the way our society has tried to down play the existence of evil in our world. The way our society tries to make every excuse in the book to call evil anything but what it truly is…EVIL! The point I want you to understand today is that every time that you rebel against God, every time that you choose to reject God and not follow His way, YOU are contributing to the evil that is in this world.

I pray today that you keep your heart open to the Lord, and His guiding influence in your life. This is why I emphasize so often how important it is to read the Bible each day, since THAT is how we better understand exactly what God expects from us, how He has asked us to live our lives. That way, we can follow Him in all of our choices, and we don’t have to be in rebellion. We don’t have to contribute to the evil that already is rampant in our world today.

The good news is this. The Bible tells us that in the end, God will wipe out ALL evil from this world. It will no longer be part of this existence. But until this time, we have a responsibility as His children to not only fight against the evil that exists, but to not contribute to it through the choices that we make each day. God is greater than evil, and one day, very soon, He will wipe evil away!!!

Are You Enjoying Your Life?

(John 10:10)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, please be with the families who have lost loved ones in the recent weather tragedies across our nation, as well as those who have lost their homes, businesses, and have had their lives turned upside down. I ask that you be with them in a special way during this difficult time as you strengthen and comfort them. Guide them through this time of turmoil and give them your peace and blessings as they move forward. We ask this in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus…AMEN!

“I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10 KJV)

Seriously, take a moment right now, think, and honestly answer me, are you enjoying your life? I am not asking you if everything is perfect in your life, since that will never be the case. We will always have things that we are facing, battles to fight, challenges to overcome, that is simply part of living in this sin-filled and fallen world we are passing through. But today I want you to take some time and reflect and tell me whether you are enjoying your life or not.

In my time with the Lord very early this morning, this is the question God asked me. As I was praying for the things I had on my list to pray for, spending some time after that just fellowshipping with the Lord and talking to Him about different issues, He stopped me and simply asked, “Bill, are you enjoying your life?” Without any hesitation I told the Lord that yes, I was really enjoying my life. Despite the problems and trials we all have to face in our life, despite the never-ending challenges of Liveprayer, the bottom line is I look forward to each day and truly enjoy my life.

Afterwards, I was thinking back about this seemingly strange question He had asked me, but the more I thought about it the less strange it really was. You see, the Lord wants us to enjoy our life. After all, the Bible tells us that He came to give us life and LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY! This is a Biblical truth that we often forget and I am afraid a promise from the Lord we don’t embrace enough. What happens is we get so caught up in our day-to-day trials and tribulations we forget that we are supposed to be enjoying our life along the way.

Here is the key and the message I want you to hear today. No matter what your trials may be, no matter what your challenges may be, no matter what your battles may be, you can still enjoy your life and embrace the promise that Jesus came to not just give us life, but life more abundantly! That means despite the hurts and pains you may be experiencing today, you can still enjoy your life and the abundance Christ promised you.

I already know many of you have stopped reading and are typing emails that basically are asking me how you can enjoy your life when you are going through a divorce, or dealing with a major health crisis, or in bondage to some addiction, or have serious financial problems, or children who are living in rebellion to God, or need a job, or any number of things that may be going on in your life today. The answer is your relationship with Christ! Because of HIM, you can face all of the problems that are out there and still enjoy your life.

Jesus told His disciples in the Garden that they would have trials and tribulations in their life, but He added to “be of good cheer” because He had overcome this world. We can never forget that because of the victory Christ won on the cross 2000 years ago, we have the victory over whatever problems life may bring our way. We can go through a divorce and be victorious. We can battle major health problems and be victorious. We can battle an addiction and be victorious. We can face severe financial problems and be victorious. We can face whatever life throws our way and be victorious because of HIM!!!

I love you and care about you so much. I want to encourage you today that if you are not enjoying your life, it is time to START! The fact is today is the only day you are certain of, tomorrow is promised to none of us. Each day we wake up is a gift from God and we need to treat it as such. No matter what we may have to face during the day, we have to never forget that Christ is living within us, we have His strength, can live in His victory, and that is why we can go through the day with that peace that passes all human understanding and unspeakable joy.

I will be praying for you today to start enjoying your life. Simply know that it is never going to be perfect and that there will always be challenges to face, hurdles to overcome, and trials to endure. That is just part of this journey we are on. However, because you know Jesus, you have His strength, His promises, His hope, and the assurance that when this short journey is over you will be forever with Him.

Are you enjoying your life? If the answer is no, then you better start. Life is too short to not enjoy it. The greatest enjoyment of all is when we are fulfilling our purpose, which is to serve and glorify Him with our life. I can guarantee you that if you are allowing the Lord to use your life you will not only find that perfect peace and great joy, but each day ENJOY YOUR LIFE!!!

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller

Because I Could

(Deuteronomy 26:16; Joshua 1:8; Exodus 19:5; Deuteronomy 5:29; Revelation 22:14)

In an interview with Dan Rather on “60 Minutes” prior to the release of his book, former President Bill Clinton made a very profound statement in regard to his affair with Monica Lewinsky. President Clinton said, “I think I did something for the worst possible reason — just because I could. I think that’s the most, just about the most morally indefensible reason that anybody could have for doing anything. When you do something just because you could. I’ve thought about it a lot. And there are lots of more sophisticated explanations, more complicated psychological explanations. But none of them are an excuse.” AMEN!!!

Every day I am dealing with the very real lives of very real people who have made the conscious choice to sin against God. Men and women. Those who are rich and those who are poor. People of all ages. Regardless of what the sin is or the circumstances involved, the bottom line is that it was a choice that person made to disobey God….because they could! You see, God gave man free will to make choices, otherwise we would be nothing more than robots. Every day, many times throughout the day, we make the choice to obey God or disobey Him.

I will never forget when I was 10, the first time I was allowed to stay home all by myself. It might have been 20 minutes after my mother was gone that I realized she was not around to see what I was doing. We had certain rules on what time we could have snacks and what we were allowed to have. As I was watching television, I remembered thinking that since mom wasn’t home, she wouldn’t know if I had an extra snack. So I went to the kitchen, to the pantry where the cookies were, went to the refrigerator and poured myself a big glass of milk, and sat down at the table and for the next 15 minutes ate cookies.

I will never forget to this day knowing deep down inside as I was getting the cookies out of the pantry that what I was doing was wrong. I am not even sure if I was really that hungry or wanted the cookies. It really boiled down to the fact I was all alone, nobody was there, and I COULD. Oh, something else about sin, it ALWAYS leaves a mess. Of course I did my best to put the cookies back exactly where I got them (not thinking that there were now about a dozen fewer), did my normal poor job of washing the glass I used for the milk and put it back in the cabinet (still dripping), and cleaned the area of the table I used (but not the floor underneath).

A few hours later at dinner, I remember that I was not very hungry. Normally I would clean my plate in minutes and be begging for more. But this night, I had a hard time eating all of my food and had to force down the last few bites. I remember the guilt as my mother asked me several times why I was not hungry and giving her some lame excuse about not feeling well. It was later that evening as I was getting in bed that my mother and father came into my room. As a child, you always know when mom and dad come to see you right before you go to bed, something is wrong.

My mother asked me how things went being in the house all alone. I told her everything went fine. She asked me what I did. I told her I watched television. She asked if I did anything else, and deep down I knew that somehow she knew I had eaten the cookies. The guilt was already more than I could bear so I told her that I was hungry and decided to eat some cookies. My father then got involved and asked me if I realized that when I was eating the cookies, I knew that I was breaking one of the house rules since it was not snack time.

I told him that I did and I was sorry. He went on to explain to me that one reason they had such a rule was so that me and my brothers would be hungry for dinner and have a good balanced diet. The rule was not to keep us from enjoying cookies, but to keep us healthy.

They told me how disappointed they were and asked me if I was sorry for what I had done. I assured them that I was. My father then told me that I would not be allowed to watch any football that weekend and would have some extra chores to do around the house. Before they left, they prayed for me. I remember laying in my bed that night, thinking how those few cookies weren’t worth having my parents disappointed in me, and it sure wasn’t worth having to miss football that weekend. I was mad at myself for doing something I knew that I shouldn’t, just because I could.

I love you and care about you so much. I realize a 10-year-old boy eating some cookies he was not supposed to while being home alone is not what most would consider a horrible thing to do. The fact was we had rules in our home about when we were allowed to eat snacks, I consciously chose to break that rule, did a poor job of trying to cover it up, was caught, and had to pay a price for my choice to disobey. In looking back, I wasn’t starving to death, I really didn’t even want to eat the cookies that bad. As much as anything it was an opportunity for me to rebel and do something I knew I wasn’t supposed to, if for no other reason than BECAUSE I COULD!

The fact is, my parents rule on snacks was there to make my life better, not worse. So often we look at God’s “rules” in the Bible as being there to keep us from having fun in life when in fact, they are there to insure we have fun in life. When we choose to disobey God, there are always consequences, always a price to pay. After we sin, the first thing we do is try to cover it up. Adam literally did that after his sin by making some crude clothes to cover up his body. We are foolish to even try to cover up our sin, since God sees everything that we do.

Sin always involves others, we don’t sin in a vacuum. Sin is like throwing a pebble into a still lake, watching the ripples of that initial pebble expand out further and further. When you choose to sin, others will always be affected in some way. Sadly, sin always carries a price tag greater than we ever wanted to pay. Sin costs my friend, and costs much more than you ever imagined.

I will be praying for you today. The reality is, every day, many times throughout the day, you have the choice to obey God or disobey Him. I pray that in the coming hours of this day, these words will ring in your heart and mind as you are faced with the opportunity to obey God. I pray that you will understand that sin simply isn’t worth it. Sin carries consequences, obedience carries blessings. What do you want today in your life, consequences, or blessings?

Instead of having to say I sinned because I could, let your testimony be I obeyed God, BECAUSE I COULD!!!

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Major Spiritual Attacks and Major Blessings in Your Life

(1 John 4:4; James 2:17; Ephesians 6:13-17; Psalms 68:19)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, help me to be a blessing to someone I meet today. Help me to not be so self-absorbed that I miss the opportunity to be a good witness for you. Today, I yield myself to you. Use me for your glory! In the name of Jesus…AMEN!!!

Most people aren’t prepared for major spiritual attacks in their life, nor are they prepared for major blessings in their life! This is a mature word for you today, so I suggest you take a few moments to clear your head and open your heart to receive what God is trying to tell you in this message. Every day I deal with so many people who find themselves under tremendous attack spiritually.

Most of them are not prepared in any way for the onslaught of the destruction satan brings into their lives. When the attacks are over, their lives look like those horrible pictures of Pearl Harbor after the Japanese sneak attack on December 7, 1941. Likewise, I deal daily with people who have been blessed abundantly, and are just as unprepared to deal with all of God’s blessings as those who are unprepared to deal with major spiritual attacks.

Let me give you a personal observation from dealing with millions of people over 16 years of ministry. Most people CHOOSE to stay on the sidelines because it is safe there. The fact is, they don’t really want to be abundantly blessed and they really don’t want to suffer major spiritual attacks. They SAY they want to be abundantly blessed, but don’t want to pay the price to receive and be responsible for those blessings. They also live their lives defensively to try and avoid any major spiritual attacks.

So they have found the safest place is the sidelines. Sitting in a pew on Sunday morning, attending a few Christian events during the year, going to an occasional Bible study, helping out here and there, but for the most part keeping their heads down and just trying to be “safe.”

Here is the problem with that strategy….IT DOESN’T WORK! Here is another problem…it goes against God’s Word! God never expected His children to be passive in their faith, but ACTIVE! Many people totally misunderstand James 2:17, “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.” This is NOT a passage declaring you have to have good works to be saved. Quite the contrary. It is a passage written to Believers stating that good works flow FROM your salvation.

In other words, if you have truly accepted Christ into your heart and life by faith, if you have been “born again,” it is natural that good works will flow from your life! GOOD WORKS CAN’T FLOW FROM YOUR LIFE IF YOU ARE SITTING ON THE SIDELINES!

Over and over in the Gospels, we have the exhortation from Jesus to “be about our Father’s business.” We are told to “go out and preach the Gospel,” and to “bring in the lost and hurting.” Many parables are about investing our gifts and talents in serving the Lord. It is clear that God’s Word doesn’t suggest, but COMMANDS Believers to be active in their faith by serving God.

As a matter of fact, the general purpose for all of us is to serve and glorify God with our lives. Service is an action word. YOU CAN’T SERVE GOD IF YOU ARE SITTING ON THE SIDELINES!

I realize that a big reason so many Believers are on the sidelines is that they don’t want to deal with the major spiritual attacks that come from serving the Lord. Many have stepped out to serve the Lord and been attacked and immediately retreated. That is exactly what satan wants. He wants to scare you into doing nothing. The reality is, you are going to be attacked whether you are serving the Lord or just sitting on the sidelines.

So you might as well obey God and serve Him and simply prepare yourself for the attacks you know will be coming. After a while, you will not only get used to the attacks, but see them coming since satan is really not very creative. You’ll get to know his entire arsenal pretty quick. That doesn’t mean you can let your guard down, only that you will be ready for him when he comes after you.

Satan will attack you personally. We ALL have weak areas in our life. By trial and error, satan WILL eventually find yours. Constantly shore up those weak areas in your life since it is a guarantee that he will come after you hard in those areas. Satan will attack you through those people you are closest to in this life, your spouse, your children, your parents, your siblings, other family members and friends. Satan will attack you through your finances.

Trust me when I tell you, satan can attack you through your finances whether you have just a little money or vast amounts of resources. Satan will attack you through your health. We will all die one day, and most of our bodies will experience breakdowns along the way. Satan will attack you through your school, employment, and hobbies. Suffice it to say, there is not one area of your life that satan will not attack you.

Listen my friend, God knew that when you chose to follow and serve Him that the enemy would come after you. That is why He has given us that great promise in 1 John 4:4 that “greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world.” That simply means that the power of the Holy Spirit that indwells every Believer, is greater than the power of satan who is attacking you.

We also have the “armor of God” found in Ephesians chapter 6. Again, God knew that those who served Him would come under attack, and has given His children all they would need to withstand the attacks from satan and press forward in their service to Him. It is not a mater of if satan will attack, only when, in what area, and how hard.

Just like most people aren’t prepared for the major attacks from satan, believe it or not, most people aren’t prepared for the major blessings from God in their life! Blessings require accountability and responsibility. God will hold us accountable for our blessings, meaning we are responsible for how we appropriate those blessings. Do we simply hoard our blessings like some miser holding onto his first dollar? Or do we share our blessings, knowing that God has blessed us so that we can be a blessing to others?

Just like we can’t escape the attacks from satan, we can’t escape the rich blessings from God. Let me say that once more since I know that went right by most. Just like we can’t escape the attacks from satan, we can’t escape the blessings from God!!!

God LOVES to bless His children. God blesses us despite ourselves, even though we don’t deserve them! When we are faithful, when we are obedient, when we are honoring God with our lives, God will bless us above and beyond anything we ever could imagine. Those blessings require us to take an even bigger stand for the Lord. Those blessings force us to an even greater level of commitment in serving Christ.

Whatever we may have done yesterday for the Lord isn’t enough any longer. Because of God’s abundant blessings, we have to do more. My friend, no matter what you have done for the Lord in the past, no matter what you are doing for the Lord today, YOU CAN ALWAYS DO MORE TOMORROW! GOD’S BLESSINGS ON OUR LIFE REQUIRE US TO DO MORE!

I love you and care about you so much. Here is my word for you today, please hear me. If you have accepted Jesus Christ into your heart and life by faith, you are COMMANDED and REQUIRED to serve Him with your life. Your life is no longer your own, it belongs to Him. Sitting on the sidelines is NOT an option. That means you will come under attack. Be prepared for it. God has given you all you need to withstand the attacks of satan.

Just know going in that he is going to come after you, but that God is watching over you and will protect you. That is why staying close to the Lord through His Word, through prayer is so important each day. That is why following God’s Word in how we live our lives each day is critical. Satan is already going to come after you, so don’t help him by opening the door through sin.

By following the Lord in your life, that also means you are going to be blessed, above and beyond what you ever imagined. Be prepared for it. Know that with God’s blessings comes a responsibility to be a good steward over those blessings. God blesses us so that we can be a blessing to others.

As we walk in obedience to the Lord, faithfully serving Him, God will bless us so that we are able to serve Him in greater ways. The more we serve the more blessings we will receive, the more blessings we receive the more we must serve. There is no limit to God’s blessings and there is no limit to our ability to serve Him.

I will be praying for you today. Praying that you will not be afraid of satan’s attacks in your life, but be prepared for them. They are a sign that you are a threat to the enemy. God will protect you! I will also be praying that you will be prepared for God’s richest blessings in your life as you faithfully serve and follow Him.

Receive His blessings as an encouragement to press in deeper into your own daily walk with the Lord as well as your service to Him. Blessings are a gift from God and His way of saying “well done thou good and faithful servant” even now during this life as you honor Him with your service.

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller

Did You Know that the Parents of Jesus were Two Lesbians?

(Genesis 18:16-19)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Lord, even though we have no right to ask, please continue to watch over this nation. Thank you for showing us the clear signs of destruction our sin and rebellion have heaped upon our land. I pray today that as a nation we will turn back to you and your Truth. Give me strength as days of persecution are upon us, and let me stand proud and strong for you and your Kingdom. In the name of Jesus I pray…AMEN!

Did you know that the parents of Jesus were two lesbians? Maybe you didn’t hear, but a “Christian church” in Iowa had a living Nativity scene last December, featuring two women instead of a man and a women starring as Joseph and Mary. “It’s not very groundbreaking at all to use the youngest baby in the congregation to play the role of Jesus. The parents just happened to be two women,” said Rev. Linda Butler, pastor of St. Timothy’s United Methodist Church in Cedar Falls, Iowa. “They were playing the role of the Holy Family, not necessarily Mary and Joseph. We never referred to the moms as Mary and Joseph. We referred to them as the Holy Family.”

The Wesley brothers and the powerful men of God who were the patriarchs of the once great United Methodist Church (For the record, I was raised in and saved in the United Methodist Church, and while I have not been part of that denomination for over 25 years, I still pray for this denomination that each day is losing its Biblical roots). They have to be rolling over in their graves. Sadly, there are more “churches” that would support this type of blasphemy than denounce it!!!!

Last week, a report came out showing an incredible rise in cases of HIV amongst young black men who are choosing to engage in homosexual acts with other men. What the homosexual activists don’t tell you about are the health and emotional consequences of those men and women who choose to engage in these types of unnatural, unhealthy, and deviant, sexual acts. HOMOSEXUALITY DESTROYS LIVES!

Every week, Liveprayer ministers to men and women who are in the bondage to homosexuality. We deal directly with the lives of people destroyed by this sinful activity. It infuriates me to hear CNN’s Don Lemon, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, CNN’s Anderson Cooper, and other openly gay newscasters and hosts cheerleading the homosexual agenda in this nation ON AIR and WITHOUT SHAME. They are helping to affirm those in this destructive bondage, while leading innocent men and women into an addiction that will ultimately destroy their lives.

It also disgusts me that all of the secular media, including those at FOX News, including national conservative hosts like Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, and Ingrham, never forcefully speak out against homosexuality, and often support it! Limbaugh paid homosexual activist Elton John $1 MILLION to sing at his recent 4th marriage. The mainstream media agree and promote the homosexual lifestyle, and label anyone who disagrees with this perverted choice of sex as a homophobe and intolerant. For those on the right, they don’t want to disrupt their “business,” just like they will never speak out against a satanic cult like Mormonism since it isn’t good for “business.”

My friend, the United States is a modern day Sodom and Gomorrah! The fact is, if you read the Scriptures, study the history of the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, we have a level of sin and wickedness above and beyond anything they were guilty of. Not only has this nation now embraced the sin of homosexuality, we also legally protect infanticide, killing over 4,000 innocent babies every single day! IF GOD DOESN’T JUDGE THE UNITED STATES FOR ITS SIN AND WICKEDNESS, HE OWES SODOM AND GOMORRAH AN APOLOGY!!!

Let me say right up front, sin is sin in God’s eyes. No sin is greater than another. The sin of homosexuality is no more, or no less a sin than murder, adultery, stealing, lying, gossiping, or gluttony. THE REASON THIS SIN IS BEING SINGLED OUT AND ADDRESSED IS BECAUSE THOSE WHO COMMIT IT ARE PROUD OF THEIR SIN AND PROMOTE IT AS AN ACCEPTABLE LIFESTYLE! People who commit adultery do NOT have parades to celebrate their sin. People who commit murder do NOT have political action committees to make murder legal. People who steal do not have high school clubs and try to teach children that stealing is acceptable behavior. Homosexuality is a SIN in the eyes of God and is something to be ashamed of, NOT proud of!

Theologically, this is not even a debatable issue. All through the Bible, from the Old Testament through the New, homosexuality is defined by God as a sin. PERIOD. God calls it an ABOMINATION! I have heard the tortured theological arguments homosexuals have made, but there is absolutely NO WAY to change the fact this act is a sin. Just because there is now a homosexual version of the Bible where they have literally changed the passages that call this act a sin, that DOES NOT change God’s inspired, inerrant Word. Just because there is a fast growing homosexual denomination-the Metropolitan Community of Churches- that does NOT change the fact God calls this act a sin. THERE IS NOTHING THAT CAN CHANGE THE FACT GOD CALLS HOMOSEXUALITY A SIN!!!

The two greatest lies the pro-homosexual community has put out are: 1) homosexuality is something that you are “born with”; 2) 10% or more in our society are homosexual. First, modern science has CLEARLY rejected and been unable to prove that ANYONE is “born gay.” IT IS A CHOICE! PEOPLE CHOOSE TO ENGAGE IN HOMOSEXUAL BEHAVIOR! LIKE ALL SIN, ONCE YOU DO IT LONG ENOUGH, IT MAY SEEM “NATURAL,” BUT IT IS STILL A CHOICE THAT YOU MAKE. You are born with black skin or white skin. Taking your pants off to have sex is a CHOICE! Also, all legitimate studies done by the non-homosexual community clearly show that less then 1% of the population EVER engage in this type of sexual sin.

I love you and care about you so much. The fact is, this nation has bought into and embraced the sin of homosexuality just like the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah did. In Genesis 19:24,25 the Bible says, “Then the LORD rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah-from the LORD out of the heavens. Thus he overthrew those cities and the entire plain, including all those living in the cities-and also the vegetation in the land.” If this is how God judged these cities for their sin, what will He do to this nation???

The church better wake up and realize that while they have been building great buildings and getting fat, satan has been busy using the sin of homosexuality to rip out the soul of this nation. As much of an abomination as homosexual churches are, equally as abominable to God are regular churches that accept homosexuality as a normal lifestyle!

We live in a free society. If people who have chosen to engage in homosexual activity want to have their own schools, their own churches, their own television network, they have every right to. It is about time the church wakes up and realizes that those who promote this sin are bold and are stopping at NOTHING to get their message out to the masses. THAT is why I am always talking about how the church, those who know Christ as their Savior, have got to quit preaching to the choir and start taking the hope and love of Christ to the world at large.

As those who follow Christ, we also have a responsibility to pray for those who are in this bondage, for God to open their hearts to the truth of His Word, and to turn from their sin. Until Jesus returns, we will always have those who choose a perverted form of sex with those of their own gender, just like we will always have those who choose to pervert sex by having it outside of the bonds of marriage. While we can never accept their choice since it is clearly against God’s Word, we must pray for them, just like we must pray for everyone who is battling sin in their life.

For those reading this who are currently fighting homosexuality, let me tell you that God has never stopped loving you, and is simply waiting for you to turn from your sin and come back to Him. We serve a God of deliverance from sin, a God of forgiveness, and a God of restoration. Millions have turned from the sin of homosexuality and found complete restoration and fulfillment in living a life according to God’s plan. What He did for someone else, He can do for you! I pray today that you hear these words, and choose to find freedom from your sin today. That freedom is only a prayer away.

I have told you often that we are not due God’s judgment, we are OVERDUE God’s judgment! This nation has not only embraced and glorified and made mainstream the sin of homosexuality, but we also embrace all forms of sexual perversion, we practice infanticide, and we worship and bow down to every false god and idol man has dreamed up. Our only hope is to turn back to God, beg Him for forgiveness, and pray He is merciful. If we don’t, why would we not expect God’s wrath had judgment when the United States is far worse than Sodom and Gomorrah ever were!

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller

Love One Another as He Has Loved Us

(John 15:12)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Lord, thank you for meeting my daily needs as you have promised in your Word. I look to you and your alone for my sustenance through life, and thank you for your faithfulness. Please help me to be a good steward of the funds you entrust into my care during this life, and give me favor in my finances, and wisdom in my decisions. In the name of Jesus I pray…AMEN!

I am often questioned about writing most days in my Devotional that “I love you.” The questions usually are asking how I can love someone that I don’t know, and if I really mean it when I say those words. In my own strength and ability, it would be impossible for me to love you. But because of Christ, because of the example that He left us, “Love one another as He has loved us,” it is not only possible, but required.

I have been in full-time ministry for 25 years now, but prior to the ministry, I was a very successful businessman at a young age. I was married, divorced, and remarried now for nearly 31 years. I have drank, experimented with drugs, and gambled. What I am trying to tell you is that I have seen both sides of this life and can empathize with those who are living their life without Christ. It is based on my life experiences that I can relate with and try to help you walk out of those dark places, and live in the light of Christ each and every day.

I do love you more than you can ever know, because I understand the daily pain and struggle many of you are facing. I understand the battles many of you fight. I also know there is a path to victory, a path to overcoming the hold this world can have on your life which keeps you from serving, being blessed, and knowing the peace and joy only a daily intimate relationship with the Lord can provide. God has many ways in which to reach us with His Word and message.

That is why I speak so often of listening to Him and learning how to hear from God. He speaks to us in so many ways. It is no accident that you get these Devotionals every day. It is no accident the message they contain each day. I love you because I know God has placed on my heart each day to write what I do, because He is trying to reach many of you with a special word that day. I never take this responsibility lightly. Each day, the best gift can I give you is myself. I give you my love, my time, my prayers as God has brought us together, even for a short season to work His will in both of our lives.

I have often been tempted to do what many Internet sites do. When a person sends in a prayer request, an automatic response comes back saying they will be prayed for. I am not criticizing that, because everyone has to do what God leads them to do. But God has led me to create a site with a LIVE broadcast 24/7 so that you can actually see and hear a Godly person pray for your needs. God has led me to take time each morning and write these Devotionals. God has led me to spend the bulk of my day answering and overseeing my gifted network of ministers that answers over 40,000 email requests that come to me EVERY day.

Why? Obviously, He has a plan and has found me worthy to be part of that plan in some small way. So out of obedience I come here each day and do what He has called me to do. I do it out of love for Him and out of love for you!!!

Never forget that I am here, accessible, and ready to love you, pray for you, and try to help you at those times in your life when you need someone standing with you. You can count on me. My personal email address is bkeller@liveprayer.com . I will love you with an unconditional love. the kind of love God had for each of us when he sent Jesus into this world to die for our sins. It is the kind of love we can never have in our own strength, but through Christ it is possible. In closing, I really do love you, care about you, and am praying for you. Go forth in your day-to-day life and do the same. We have been called to love one another. That is the example Jesus has set for us to follow.

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,
