Why Does the Way of the Wicked Prosper?

(Jeremiah 12:1, Psalm 37 (entire), Psalm 73 (entire))

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, please be with the families who have lost loved ones in the recent weather tragedies across our nation, as well as those who have lost their homes, businesses, and have had their lives turned upside down. I ask that you be with them in a special way during this difficult time as you strengthen and comfort them. Guide them through this time of turmoil and give them your peace and blessings as they move forward. We ask this in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus…AMEN!

“Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why do all of the faithless live at ease?” If Jeremiah had a computer back in his day, he may have sent Liveprayer an email with these questions that we read him asking in Jeremiah 12:1. Not a day goes by that we don’t get hundreds of emails from people asking these very questions. A woman who loves the Lord and honors Him with her life has a husband who cheats on her, leaves her and their children for another woman, and is now living a comfortable life while she and her children struggle just to live day to day.

A man who faithfully serves the Lord gives decades of his life working for a company that takes advantage of him, operates with little ethics or morals, and lets him go just before he is scheduled to retire to save money while those who run the company live extravagant lifestyles. A young man trying to follow the Lord and God’s Word struggles to buy a new pair of shoes while teenage thug rappers glorifying and living lifestyles of sin wear hundreds of thousands of dollars of jewelry and drive new exotic cars.

There is an endless list of examples of those who love the Lord, live for Him, yet are currently struggling in their daily lives while those who deny Christ and live in complete rebellion to Him seem to prosper and live in great comfort and ease. So it becomes a legitimate question that the prophet Jeremiah asks. It is a legitimate question that men who love the Lord throughout the ages have asked. It is a proper question for those who serve and follow the Lord today to ask. WHY DO THE WICKED SEEM TO PROSPER?

The answer to this question, like the answers to ALL questions, is found in God’s Word. You need to take time to read the 37th Psalm, all 40 verses. The answer to this age-old question of why do the wicked seem to prosper is found in never losing sight of the big picture of what this life is all about. First, it is God who gives us life and we all have the same general purpose of serving and glorifying Him with our lives. Second, we are all going to die one day. As the Bible clearly tells us, tomorrow is promised to none of us, so that day is not as far away as many think it is. Third, when we die, our soul lives on for eternity. The only issue to be determined is do we spend that eternity WITH God who created us or APART from God who created us. Each person makes that choice in either accepting or rejecting God’s ONLY plan of salvation through faith in His Son Jesus Christ.

So what is important to understand is that we actually have a very limited number of days in this life here on earth. The most critical choice we have to make during our life is what we do with Jesus, since that choice will determine our eternal home. For those who have chosen to follow Christ, their days on this earth are to be focused on fulfilling our God-given purpose of serving and glorifying the Lord with our lives in whatever way God calls each of us to do that.

If you haven’t noticed, I have not mentioned having money, possessions, or any of the things of this world. You see, those are simply the temporary things of THIS LIFE and are meaningless in light of eternity. What happens is the righteous, the followers of Christ get caught up in measuring prosperity and success the way the world does by the temporal things of this world. Real prosperity and success aren’t found in the temporary things of this world but in the eternal things of God. Things like peace and joy and living an abundant life that don’t come from this world, but from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ!

Let me ask you a very serious question. This is actually a question Jesus once asked. He said,” What does it profit a man to gain the whole world, yet lose his soul?” When Jesus was in the desert being tempted by the devil for 40 days and 40 nights, at one point satan showed Him all of the kingdoms of the world and told him to worship him and they would all be His. Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.’ ” You see, Christ understood that the things of this world are but temporary. The REAL Kingdom is not in this world, but in Heaven. The REAL riches are not in this world, but in Heaven.

I love you and care about you so much. It is natural in our flesh to look at those who have chosen to reject Christ and live their lives in complete rebellion to God and His Word and wonder why they seem to prosper while we may be currently struggling. While they may be enjoying the prosperity this world offers, without Jesus they are SPIRITUALLY BANKRUPT. Actually, rather than envy these people, they are to be pitied since when their brief journey through life is over they will be spending eternity in a place created for satan and his fallen angels unless they come to know Jesus. Bill Gates may be the richest man on the planet, but the moment he dies, all of his wealth is MEANINGLESS. The ONLY THING that will matter when he stands before God is does he know Jesus as his personal Savior.

This is also the problem with the “prosperity gospel” so many today preach in error. There is NOTHING in the Bible that says just because you know Jesus you are guaranteed to have great wealth in this life. What the Bible DOES PROMISE is that if you know Christ as your Savior, you are assured of everlasting life and that during this life you will enjoy the blessings and provision of God. You see, God has promised to meet your needs during this life, needs like food, shelter, and clothing. That is God’s promise to His children. The true prosperity gospel is not about dollars, it is about BLESSINGS!

God NEVER promised you would have a million dollar home, a new Rolls Royce in the driveway, $5,000 suits, a Rolex watch, or any of the many treasures this life can offer. God may allow some to be blessed to have those things during their life, but the wealth of a follower of Jesus is not measured in the temporary things of this world, but in the eternal things of God! God measures the heart of His children not by their bank account, but by their obedience, their faithfulness, and their willingness to completely surrender all they have to follow Him.

I will be praying for you today. Praying that God will speak to you through these words about how you look on those who have chosen to live their lives in rebellion to God, yet seem to be prospering. The fact is, they may indeed be prosperous according to the standards of the world for a brief season. But whatever we have in this life will one day be gone, and at that point, the only thing that will matter is do we know Jesus. Pray for those who you may have been envious of for what they possess. Pray that they will come to know Christ as their Savior since salvation cannot be bought, it is only available through faith in Jesus.

I have dealt over the years with thousands of people who had great wealth but when the real trials of life came, they realized that all of their wealth and possessions meant nothing. When your spouse or child or loved one has a serious illness and is laying in a hospital bed, when you find out your spouse wants a divorce, when you learn your child is on drugs, when the doctor tells you that you have a serious disease, when you face many of the major battles in life we all face, at that moment your money and possessions mean nothing. Only a deep abiding faith in Christ can sustain you through those dark moments in life.

There is no amount of money that can buy God’s peace. There is no amount of money that can buy God’s strength. There is no amount of money that can buy God’s joy. All of those things come from your relationship with Christ and your faith in Him. The wicked may prosper for a season, but it is the righteous who have true prosperity for all eternity.

(John 3:16)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, help me to get through this day and the challenges that I will be facing today. Guide me, strengthen me, and give me wisdom as I make choices throughout this day. Please watch over my family and those I love in this world, and keep them safe. I love you Lord, and depend upon you each moment of each day. Bless me as I go through the day, living my life for your glory. In the name of Jesus I pray…AMEN!

“Bill, I have always thought that the Lord works in unexpected ways, and often times through people and situations we would not typically expect. During your brief absence and bout with food poisoning, I experienced the reality of what it might be like without Liveprayer, and your spiritual leadership. I would suggest others may have felt this same sense of loss in your absence, and be inspired to give generously to keep Liveprayer thriving after having had a brief taste of what life might be like without Liveprayer and Pastor Keller.”

“Pastor Bill, I was given an extension on my house. God is wonderful. I will try and make the best of the time that they have given me. Thank you for your prayers and words of encouragement! They have gotten me through this terrible ordeal. God bless you for being their!”

“Mr. Keller, I wanted to let you know that Sharon has passed away and thank you for everything you have sent her over these may years. It was something she looked forward to everyday and gave her such great strength, especially in her final days.”

“Liveprayer, I just wanted to thank you not only from myself, but I’m sure from countless others for all the tireless efforts you put forth in spreading the word of God. I appreciate the fact that nothing will keep you from speaking the truth in every situation regarding the word of God. Keep up the good fight; you’re an example to all Believers!”

“Pastor Bill, I prayed the salvation prayer. Praise Jesus and thank you Lord for your salvation!”

Please help me! We get THOUSANDS of emails like the ones above DAILY because dear friends like you care, and dear friends like you make the sacrifice to help me! After 18+ years of ministering to tens of millions worldwide, seeing close to 1,200,000 souls come to faith in Jesus, Liveprayer is in a difficult place.

Today, I desperately need your help. Liveprayer is so close to being in a position to be the catalyst leading this nation back to God and His Truth. Satan tried to take me out last week with a bout of food poisoning, but God said NO! Satan has known since day one if he can keep us from getting the finances we need we will cease to exist.

People spent over 2 BILLION on Christmas presents this past holiday season. I know that if only a handful of God’s people will give a fraction of that amount, we can turn this nation, the nations of the world back to God and His Truth, and see a mighty harvest of souls in the process! After 18 yrs, especially after so many compromised their faith during the recent election and got NOTHING, I have a long track record of never bowing my knee to Baal, never compromising just for money, and am one of the few voices people can trust.

My concern today is to head into April with all of our basic operational costs taken care of. THANK YOU to those who have been led and able to help me with a gift in the past few days. As we head into the final 2 days of March, we are still $95,000 from covering our January and February shortfalls, plus the $65,000 we require for our basic March internet and TV operations.

If you can wire it or direct deposit the funds in our Wells Fargo account, or FedEx the funds, email me at: bkeller@liveprayer.com and I will get you the necessary information.

I am praying that God will speak to 1 of our friends who can help me with a special gift to take care of the final $30,000 from January If everyone else will give as God leads you, $10, $20, $50, $100, or more, by the weekend God will bring in the $160,000 we need to get current! Please take a moment today and pray about what God is asking you to do to help me today, and give the most generous gift you can!

Don’t expect someone else to do what God is calling you to do. Help me today…please!

God Gave His Children Everything Needed to Sustain This Life

(Genesis 9:12)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, I cry out to you today. I have no place to turn but to you. My life is yours. Do with it as you will and I will obediently serve you with my very last breath. IN the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ..AMEN!

God, in His infinite wisdom, gave His children everything needed to sustain this life. I have always maintained that the Bible contains everything we need for every aspect of our life. That includes what we eat. In the study I have done in regard to Biblical diets, I have to admit that the dietary laws found in the book of Leviticus are perfect for sustaining our bodies and health throughout this life. God made us, He should know best what it takes to run these human machines we use during this lifetime.

Now, I have to be the first to admit that I DO NOT eat according to the dietary laws found in the book of Leviticus. I don’t see a trip through the McDonald’s drive thru, drinking a liter of Coke to wash down hot dogs and pizza, or even a pint of Haggan Daaz ice cream anywhere in the Bible. I have made up my mind to do better. God has blessed me with great health throughout my life. I have been able to eat whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted, and never worry about gaining weight. I have just been blessed.

That still gives me no excuse for abusing my Temple the way I do, and by not taking the proper care of it that I should. Over the past 6 years, I have done a much better job in eating a balanced and nutritional diet that has enabled me to do what I do for the Lord 24/7/365.

As you know from reading these Devotionals, our purpose in this life is to serve and glorify God. Only God knows when our work here is over and we graduate to Heaven. So it is our responsibility during this life to maintain our bodies to the best of our ability, so that we are at maximum efficiency in our ability to serve the Lord. That means getting the proper exercise, and eating the right foods. There is enough research on the books to tell us that how we feel each day, our immune system, many infirmities we get, even major diseases can be greatly affected and influenced by our diet.

That being the case, it is then incumbent on us to research and discipline our eating habits so that we are putting into our bodies the best things possible. It is amazing how much more we can accomplish each day when we feel good and when we have energy. It becomes our responsibility to be the best we possibly can be each day to serve God, and that means eating the things that will keep our bodies healthy and strong.

I really do love you and care about you. I have been involved long enough in the nutritional world through my study of the Word, to know that it does make a big difference what we put into our bodies each day. I received so many wonderful emails after my Devotional on gluttony, thanking me for talking about something that is clearly defined as sin in the Word, yet seldom discussed. While I do my best each day to prepare you and try to encourage you to be the best servant of God you possibly can be, today it has been necessary to point out an obvious, but often overlooked aspect of our service.

It is difficult for God to use us when we are always tired, when we are always sick, and when we have neglected ourselves to the point we have trouble just getting around each day. I want to challenge you today to pray about this part of your life and ask God to help you to have the discipline to take control over your Temple. Ask Him to give you the discipline to exercise regularly and to eat the right things, so that you are in the best health possible. I will be praying for you in this area.

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller

The Religious Left

(Matthew 7:21-23)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Please Lord bless me and my family today. Help us to never forget to honor you and praise your holy name. Thank you for your blessings. Let us be good stewards of those blessings and never forget to reach out to others and be a blessing to those who cross our path each day. In the name of Jesus I pray…AMEN!

“Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?” Luke 6:46

The “religious left.” In case you have been sleeping, there is a new group of people in our nation who call themselves the “religious left.” This is a relatively new term so you may not be familiar with it. That is why I felt it was so critical to take the time today to insure you not only understood what it means, but who actually makes up this new group of people. Forty years ago, this group didn’t even exist. They have actually evolved and grown tremendously over the past decade.

The “religious left” is made up of people who identify themselves as Christians and hold strong religious beliefs as well as sharing left-wing ideals. Obviously, this group has risen up in opposition to those who have been tagged the “religious right” or the “Christian right.” The “Christian right” is that group of Bible-believing Christians who are politically active and seek to elect to office those candidates who hold to Biblical values on the key spiritual issues of our day that are also political issues.

These would be issues like abortion and life related matters, gay marriage, family issues, the proliferation of the pornography industry, and the drive to remove God from the public square. Those in the “religious left” actually take an anti-Biblical position on these issues and are also heavily involved in the ecumenical movement, environmental issues, opposing war for any reason, world hunger, and social issues like healthcare, welfare, and education.

There is nothing wrong with pursing these noble social issues, Believers should be more involved on those fronts. The problem with this group is their anti-Biblical position on the key spiritual issues of our day and their involvement in these ecumenical movements that require you to set aside the Absolute Truths of the Bible.

I watched with interest last year as CNN carried a special program about faith with an advocate of baby killing, Hillary Clinton. She dealt with various faith-related issues in the context of her own personal faith. I watched in amazement as she talked about how important her faith was, and how it guided her, gave her strength, and went out of their way to position herself as a woman of great faith.

Like my dear mother used to tell me, talk is cheap. I refuse to try and judge someone’s heart, that is something only God can and will do. However, I have every right to judge people on their actions in accordance with God’s Word. How can you say you are a person of faith, yet vote to support the legalized slaughter of over 4,000 innocent babies every day? How can you say you are a person of faith, yet vote to redefine God’s Holy Institution of Marriage? How can you say you are a person of faith, yet support special rights for people who have chosen to engage in perverted sex acts God calls an abomination, including their ability to adopt children into their deviant lifestyle?

I guess the real question becomes, what is the faith of those in the religious left really in? It is inconsistent to say you are person of faith yet continually take a stand in complete opposition to God’s Word. Jesus said that if you love Me, you will obey Me. That means His Word. Of course, those in the “religious left” has been born out of the liberal “churches” of our day who make a mockery of Christ as they operate in open rebellion to the Truth of the Bible while claiming to be followers of Christ.

Those in the religious left support the legalized slaughter of babies, redefining marriage to include men with men and women with women, perverting the family by brining children into homes with homosexual parents, and embrace ecumenical fellowships with all of the cults and false religions of the world. They deny the inspiration and inerrancy of the Bible, have rejected God’s Word for the Absolute Truth it represents, and have bought into the lie of the world that there are “many roads that lead to God.” These are the people who make up the “religious left!”

I love you and care about you so much. It is beyond me how a person can consider themselves a Christian, which means they are a follower of Christ and automatically a follower of His Word, yet take a public position in complete opposition to that Word. You better wake up, since this is the largest growing segment of Christendom, this apostate group who calls themselves Christians but go to churches who operate in complete rebellion to Christ and the Bible

This is the group that is Biblically illiterate since they don’t even believe the Bible to be true. These are the people who see nothing wrong with electing a member of a satanic cult to the White House because they think a Mormon is a Christian. They are the politically correct crowd who has bought the lie a woman has the right to kill her baby. They are the group who lambastes those who speak out against the sin of homosexuality, calling them names like “intolerant” and “hateful.”

In His love and service,

Bill Keller

The Answered Call

(Genesis 12:1-4)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, give me your strength to stand for your Truth no matter what the cost. It is easy to call myself a follower of Jesus, but when confronted, when challenged, when faced with persecution, will I still say I am a follower of Jesus? I love you Lord and ask for your strength so no matter what I have to endure for my faith, I will stand firm. In the name of Jesus I pray…AMEN!

The answered call. Hebrews Chapter 11 is one of the great chapters in the Bible. We read about Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, David, Samuel, the prophets…they all had one thing in common…THEY ANSWERED THE CALL!! Common sense tells me that God had probably called others, but they refused to answer His call.

The Bible tells us that “many are called, few are chosen”. We must be willing to answer God’s call when it comes. Noah answered God’s call to build the ark. Abraham answered God’s call to leave Ur. Moses answered God’s call to lead the children of Israel out of Egypt. There are three basic elements in answering the call of God. First, you must know God. Second, you must respond by faith. Lastly, you can’t turn back.

You must first know God in an intimate way. If you have a special job to be done, do you ask a stranger to do it, or call a friend? When God has a special job to do, He calls someone that he has a relationship with. He knows each one of His children intimately. He knows our strong points, our weak points, what we are capable of. God knows better than you do what you can accomplish. Never forget, God calls us for a specific purpose at different times in our lives based on His plan.

He will never ask you to do something that He hasn’t equipped you to perform. Hebrews 11:1 says “..Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” Once God calls you, we must respond by faith. Faith is not a blind leap in the dark, but a trust in God. When God called Abraham, he left obediently, not even knowing where he was going. He trusted God. James tells us that faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action is dead. In talking of Abraham, James said that “his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did.”

But once you hear God call you, and you respond by faith, you then can’t turn back. Jesus said, “no one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.” Once you answer the call of God, you will be attacked. There are some sad examples in scripture of those who heard, responded by faith, then turned back. John Mark went with Paul and Barnabas on their first missionary journey but turned back. Demas a co-laborer with Paul is said to have deserted Paul because of his love for the world.

*My friend, answering the call of God is not easy, but God will make you adequate to stand the attacks and follow through.

Hebrews 11:13-16 “All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted they were aliens and strangers on earth. People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. Instead, they were longing for a better country..a heavenly one! Therefore, God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.”

These men and women of faith never turned back because they realized there was no place to turn back to!!! Peter said it best when he said, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We believe that you are the holy one of God.”

I love you, and care about you deeply. I pray that you will be inspired by these words today. Inspired to develop that close, intimate relationship with God so that you will be available for His use. I pray that you will develop faith to answer His call when it comes. I pray that as you answer that call by faith, nothing will stop you from performing the job that He has given you to perform. Our purpose in this life is to serve and glorify Him. Take your mind off of your desires, your goals, your will. Focus instead on His desires, His goals, His will. ANSWER THE CALL!!

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller

The Struggle

(Luke 22:42)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, help me to be a blessing to someone I meet today. Help me to not be so self-absorbed that I miss the opportunity to be a good witness for you. Today, I yield myself to you. Use me for your glory! In the name of Jesus…AMEN!!!

The struggle. Every day, I try to do my best to bring you exactly what the Holy Spirit puts in my heart to share that day. From time to time, there is something so important that you need to print it out, read it often, and share it with everyone you know. This is one of those occasions. The struggle that defines our very life, the ultimate battle each person who lives faces daily (including a struggle Jesus faced daily) is between our will and God’s will. If you want to break down the Christian life to one basic issue, this is it. Our will….or God’s will?

Every day we make many decisions. Whether you realize it or not, every time you make a decision, you are deciding whether it will be His will or your will. If you start to think of your decisions in this way, you will quickly see how it is possible to live the life Christ has called for each one of us to live. When we choose His will, we are following Him and fulfilling our purpose. When we choose our will, we are living in rebellion apart from God. The original sin was Satan choosing his will over God’s will. Our sin nature has been inherited from our father Adam who chose his will over God’s will. When you commit sin in your life, you are choosing your will over God’s will. It really breaks down this easy. It is not very complicated at all.

My purpose today is to simply help you open your eyes, and begin to focus each day, even with each decision, on whose will you are actually following. Is it yours or His? You see, God gave us the free-will to choose. Otherwise we would be little more than robots. You can very easily simply say, ‘I will do it my way.’ You can very easily say, ‘it is my life and I will live it the way I want.’ God has given you that ability. But my friend, you then are responsible for the consequences of your choices. Many today are dealing with the pain and heartache of decisions made years ago when they chose their way instead of God’s way.

I can only challenge you today, encourage you today, that God has given you the freedom to choose, but with each choice there are consequences. When you choose God’s way, the consequences are blessing, peace, joy, the abundant life He has promised His children. When you choose your way, there is pain, suffering, heartache, and struggles. Again, the choice is yours, as are the ramifications of your choice. Oh, never forget. When you accepted Christ as your Savior, you gave your life to Him, it is NOT YOURS ANY LONGER.

I love you, and care about you deeply. I do my best each day to challenge you, encourage you, and make you look at yourself and your life from a very real perspective. As only the Holy Spirit can do, today I have broken down the essence of the Christian life in one simple question. Is it His will, or your will? Jesus had that challenge in the Garden just hours before His death on the cross. He lived a perfect life because that day He did what He had always done, simply told God, “not my will, but thy will be done”. Therein lies the challenge for each one of us today and every day, with each decision we must make. Will it be our will, or God’s will?

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller

Perseverance

(Job 17:9; Galatians 6:9; Revelation 3:11)

PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, help me to stand strong in these difficult days. I know that in the end, YOU…and YOU alone will have the final word. Give me boldness and courage to stand for you as evil abounds. In the name of Jesus I pray. AMEN!!!

“He replied, ‘This kind can come out only by prayer and fasting.’ ” Mark 9:29

The deep things of God never come easy, are you willing to pay the price? I’m going to give you a heavy spiritual lesson today. I’m going to be very blunt with you. Most people are so bound up in their own weaknesses, get so distracted each day by the blowing winds of life, or just won’t make the sacrifice to pay the price to ever get to a place where they can even understand this message. However, for those who do want more of God, do want all of God they can get, are willing to literally lay down their very life and give everything they have to the Lord, this word is for you today!

The word today is PERSEVERANCE. After serving the Lord for over 2 decades, I can tell you that it never gets any easier, the battles only intensify as time goes on, and the more you are doing for the Kingdom the more you will have to endure, and the more you will have to persevere. Why do you think so many opt out or take the easy road? Very few people enjoy pain, conflict, being a target and attacked constantly day after day, and run when confronted with these things. That is why most of the Lord’s work is done in the safety of the Christian subculture we have created, behind the 4 walls of the church. That is also why we are having very little influence, and very little impact on this world we live in!

Look at the life of Paul. It would have been easy for Paul to sit back in the comfort and safety of the churches he pioneered and take on that apostolic role and live a life of honor, ease, comfort, and luxury. While Paul did oversee the churches he founded, he never stopped or slowed down in fulfilling God’s mission for his life to take the Gospel to the lost and hurting outside the four walls of the church. He pressed forward, tirelessly, until the very end when he was martyred for his faith in Jesus Christ. Despite the great personal sacrifices, putting his life on the line each day, fighting all of the obstacles he had to face each step of the way, Paul PERSEVERED!

My word for you today is this. You are not going to ever fulfill God’s plan for your life in serving the Lord without being able to persevere. That is because the things of God don’t come easy, and won’t come without a fight. There is a very real enemy who will do all he can to stop you. As I share with you often, this is ultimately a battle for the souls of men, and sadly, satan is willing to fight harder for souls than most of God’s people. You can’t persevere by giving God 25%. You can’t persevere by giving God 50%. You can’t persevere by giving God 80%. You can’t persevere by giving God even 95%. TO PERSEVERE, YOU HAVE TO BE SOLD OUT, 100% TO THE LORD!!!

The fact is, it doesn’t take too many men totally sold out for Jesus to turn this world upside down. The work of one man, Paul, is still being felt today. The disciples of Jesus, who after his resurrection and being filled with the Holy Spirit, were totally sold out of the Lord and laid the foundation that the Christian faith has been built upon these past 2000 years. During that time, it has been men and women of God who were sold out for the Lord, 100% committed to Him, men and women who PERSEVERED, that has brought the Gospel to the world and helped millions of people find everlasting life through faith in Jesus Christ.

I love you and care about you so much. We are in the last days and now God is calling on men and women like you and me to stand up, be counted, to sell out for him, and to persevere as we bring in that last great harvest of souls before our Lord returns and the last days of human history unfold. This is a clarion call to those who have ears to hear, that the time for playing games is over, the time for playing church is over, the time for being satisfied to live in the comfort of the “Christian trough” is over, the time for using the Gospel simply to generate money is over, IT IS TIME TO SELL OUT FOR THE LORD AND LET GOD USE OUR LIVES TO BRING HIS TRUTH AND THE HOPE OF CHRIST TO THE LOST AND HURTING MASSES WHO WILL DIE AND GO TO HELL FOR ALL ETERNITY WITHOUT JESUS!

To accomplish that, you will have to persevere. You will have to face the trials, the tribulations the hardships, the attacks, the scorn, the daily battles, but it is the power of the Holy Spirit that will embolden you and strengthen you and allow you to PERSEVERE! When you get down and discouraged, the Lord will pick you up and give you all you need to keep pressing forward. The Bible tells us that many are called but few are chosen. The chosen are the ones who are willing to pay the price, do whatever it takes to persevere! The deep things of God will never come easy. They require a total and complete sacrifice to the Lord. But when this life is over, the things of this temporal world will pass away and all that will be left are the things we did for Jesus!

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller
