***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Father, I pray, today, for each person who is reading these words. You know exactly where they are at today financially. I pray that whatever they have today is multiplied many times over in the coming weeks and months. Bless them in the area of their finances, Father, so that they may not only care for their day-to-day needs of those they are responsible for, but so that they may feed the poor around the world, those who are materially poor as well as those who are spiritually poor. I pray today, a prayer of BLESSING on the finances of the person reading these words. Whatever we have in this life comes from You and is Yours Father. May we be faithful in managing what You have given to us. Multiply many times over what You have currently given to the person reading this word today and allow them to be a great blessing to the work of God throughout the world. I pray BLESSINGS over the finances of the person reading these! words
today for the glory of Almighty God. In the name of Jesus. Amen!

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: Father Robert Morey of St. Anthony’s parish in Florence, SC is my clergy hero of the week. For those who have been reading the Daily Devotional, watching the Liveprayer TV program, for any period of time knows that I have implored the Roman Catholic Church to withhold communion from any politician who rebels against God’s Word and supports the murder of innocent babies. Sadly, like in all churches, there is church politics involved. So they allow people like Speaker of the House Pelosi, NY Governor Andrew Cuomo, and other powerful local, state, and federal politicians to remain members in good standing, partake of Holy Communion, while being instruments of satan in advocating for and helping facilitate the wanton slaughter of innocent babies!!!

My friend, with just today and tomorrow left in October, we have covered the first $15,000 of our $55,000 October budget leaving the final $40,000.

We require $15,000 immediately, leaving us the rest of this week to bring in the final $25,000 of October’s ministry operations to end the month with all of our ministry operations current!!! OUR GOD IS ABLE!!!

Everyone can pray! Please seek the Lord for what he is calling you to do to help me this month. God’s Word teaches us to “give according to our ability to give.” For some, that may be $10, others $20, $50, or $100, and still others it may be $1,000 or more.

With just 62 days left in the year, JUST NINE WEEKS, please start praying about making a special year-end gift to Livep! rayer. For some of our
friends it will help them with their 2019 taxes. With the $40,000 left in our October budget, the $110,000 we require for November and December’s ministry operations, that is a total of $150,000 required to end the year with all of our ministry operations current! Please pray about making a special year-end gift since I am certain if you have to give $10,000 to either the government or to Liveprayer, you would choose Liveprayer!!!

TO GIVE A GIFT TO LIVEPRAYER, you can use your major credit card at: http://www.liveprayer.com/donate.cfm or you can mail your gift to: Liveprayer, 6660 46th Ave. North, St. Petersburg, FL 33709. All gifts to Liveprayer are 100% tax deductible!!!

In the
20 yrs of Liveprayer, I have never employed professional development (fundraising) people or those who specialize in planned giving (wills). Even without such people, God has led many of our friends in the Liveprayer family to remember His work here in their will. Most of the time we weren’t even aware of this Legacy Gift until we were contacted by an attorney or executor of their estate. A test for where your heart is. In today’s world of modern medicine, there are numerous tests to check the condition of your heart. However, today I have a very different test for your heart. Jesus said many profound things during His years of ministry. One of those profound sayings is our anchor verse today that binds toget! her your
treasure and your heart. What you spend your money on is a great indicator of where your heart really is.

I want to challenge you to let God speak to you through these words today. This is like one of those pop quizzes you used to get in school. How you score on this test will give you a great indication if you are on the right track or if you need some work in this area. Please know that I will be praying for you.

Every day we have many choices to make. One of the choices we make each day is how we will spend the money God gives to us. Never forget, all that we have is from God, it is simply on loan to us. We have been given stewardship over the resources God gives us during our life. How we manage and utilize those resources becomes a test of not only our ability to be a good stewards of what God entrusts into our care, but where our heart is. As Jesus stated in today’s passage of Scripture, you can get a great measure of your heart for God based on how you spe! nd the
money God blesses you with.

Ok, here is your test. Get a piece of paper and something to write with. You don’t need to be an accountant and detail every penny, but in round numbers, figure out how much money you have made in the past year. You need to include all of your sources of income. What you made working, what you may have made selling something, any money people gave you, include everything that you have had come into your hands over the past year. Now, roughly figure out what you spent. In this part, break it down into two columns. Column one is basic living expenses and column two is everything else.

Basic living expenses include what it costs you to live each month, where you live, utilities, food, insurance, transportation, medical, clothing, all the basic necessities of daily life. Everything else is all the money you spend outside of your basic living expenses. This is the key element of the test, so it is important to do your best to include EVERYT! HING you
spend money on, no matter how trivial it may seem.

Most people are actually shocked as they fill out this column regarding how much of their money they spend on so many different things. A very small percentage of people have ever done this before, actually sitting down and listing all of the things they buy and how much they spent. I assure you it will be an eye opening experience for you.

After you have finished putting everything down on paper, it is time to take a look at where your heart is. Listen, the purpose of this exercise is not to make you feel bad or upset you. It is a great exercise to see exactly where your heart is, since what you spend your money on gives you a great indication of where your priorities are, what is really important to you. Zero in on the everything else column.

Look carefully over what you are spending your money on and how much you are spending on different things. Out of that total dollar amount, what percentage is going ! to
support the Lord’s work through your church or some ministry you have been led to give to? Is it 5%? Is it 10%? Is it 25%? Is it 50% or more?

I can’t sit here and tell you how much you should be giving to the Lord’s work. That is an amount you and God have to work out. All I want to do today is help you see in black and white what you are spending your money on, how much you are spending on different things, and what percentage is actually going to God. Now it is time to get alone with the Lord and pray. Ask Him to show you through these figures if your heart is where it needs to be.

I know most will be amazed at the things they buy, at how much money they spend on things that seem so trivial, and how much more they could be doing to support the work of God. Those in bondage to smoking and/or alcohol will quickly see a huge amount of money that is actually being spent to kill yourself slowly. No doubt you will see other areas that you are spending a great deal of! your
resources on and it will force you to ask yourself how much of your heart is really God’s.

I love you and care about you so much. I will be praying for you today. I will be praying for the Lord to use this test to really show you where your heart is. God’s Word teaches us to be good stewards of what He entrusts into our care during this life. After our basic living expenses are taken care of, we need to be wise to invest some of our resources for the future. How we spend whatever is left gives us a good insight into where our heart is really at.

I challenge you today that if your heart is God’s, you will find that a good portion of your treasure is being invested in the work of the Lord since it was Jesus who told us, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Over the years these “apparitions” have been reported all over the world, and while God can do anything, He sent the greatest ! “apparition” ever in His

I don’t know about you, but I get EXCITED to wake up and see what God has in store for the day. For me, every day is like Christmas. Virtually every day I have a very packed and tight schedule and am required to be at certain places at certain times. So I pretty much know going into each day what I will be doing each hour. Despite that rigid structure, I still get charged up since I know as the day unfolds God is with me each moment and that He is in control of everything that happens. !

Even when things don’t go
exactly as I would hope or plan, I have great peace in knowing that God is still on His throne and still in control. I also know that during each day, He is going to bless me in ways I had not even considered or thought of. I don’t know about you, but I enjoy God’s blessings and can’t wait to see what they will be that day.

I realize that the first thought many of you had as you read the opening line, “Are you ready to have a GREAT day,” is “is this guy crazy?” You are thinking, how can I have a great day when I am in such a financial mess? You are thinking, how can I have a great day when my body is ravaged with pain and sickness? You are thinking, how can I have a great day when I am mourning the loss of someone I loved so much.

You are thinking, how can I have a great day when my marriage is on the verge of divorce. You are thinking, how can I have a great day when I am enslaved to drugs, alcohol, gambling, food, shopping, illicit sex, or whatever bondage you! may be

You are thinking, how can I have a great day when my children are living in rebellion to God and in trouble. You are thinking, how can I have a great day when I can’t find a good job. You are thinking, how can I have a great day when I am failing in school You are thinking, how can I have a great day when my car is broken and I have no way to get around. You are thinking, how can I have a great day when I have to go to court to fight some legal battle. You are thinking, how can I have a great day when _____ (you fill in the blank) is going on in my life.

My word for you today is to not let the day-to! -day
challenges of life burden you to the point you stop looking forward to each day. The Bible tells us that tomorrow is promised to NONE OF US, and that each day is literally a gift from God. We need to embrace the day for what it is, a gift from God, and be thankful for it despite whatever challenges the day may bring our way.

We live in a sin-filled and evil world. Because of that, we will always have trials and tribulations, always have battles and challenges, but we can still have peace and joy because we know that God will help us be victorious over those trials and tribulations, those battles and challenges!

You, and nobody else controls how you view each day. You can either allow the problems of your life to overwhelm you and consume you to the point you dread every minute, or, you can find your strength in the Lord to rise above those problems and look forward to each moment. It is YOUR CHOICE to either walk in defeat or victory. Listen to me very carefully! , this is

Christ already won the victory 2000 years ago. If you have asked Him into your heart and life by faith, then you have the ability to live your life in HIS VICTORY if you choose to. Living in that victory is not dictated by the circumstances of your life, living in that victory is dictated by you choosing to trust God with your problems knowing that He is able to help you solve each one. God will give you the strength, and wisdom, and favor, and direction in handling the problems you will encounter throughout each day. Fighting through the problems of the day is simply part of life.

Don’t let your problems keep you from having a GREAT DAY!!!!

I love you and care about you so much. Don’t let anything or anyone stop yo! u from
having a GREAT DAY today. I will be praying for you to start getting excited about each day as you wake up. Remember, it is a day like none other. Once it is over, you can’t get it back, so enjoy every moment and make each moment count!

I know many of you are fighting great battles today, you have many problems. But never forget the Bible tells us that “the battle is the Lord’s.” God will fight for you. So cast your cares on Him, for He cares for you. He promised to carry your burdens so let Him. He loves you and WANTS TO BLESS YOU TODAY! So get ready and HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: There is a 7 year old boy in Texas named James Younger. His parents are divorced and they were in court last week for a custody hearing. Younger’s father was seeking full custody because his son’s mother has told her little boy he is really a girl, has started dressing him up in dresses, is calling him “Luna,” and is ready to start pumping her young son with chemicals to begin the “transition” process which in essence is chemical castration! The ! father lost the
hearing the other day which also included that he could only refer to his son as a girl and must call him “Luna,” AND, was ordered to take a class on transgenderism! This is a new area of law that is very murky, but as the nation sinks further into such perversion we will be seeing many more of these types of difficult cases. Thankfully this case is in Texas and not a state like California. The Texas Governor and Attorney General are both very involved and at this point both parents still have joint custody and the child is not supposed to be given any “transitioning drugs” while the attorneys for both sides try to work out a settlement both sides can agree to. This is child abuse, no different than physical or sexual abuse that scars and often destroys that child’s life. This is a disgusting example of a nation that embraces the sins of the world while rejecting God and Biblical Truth. This is what a nation where the church has abdicated its’ moral authority ! to the fallen
culture. These are the tragic consequences I have been warning about for the past 20 years if we turn from God and His Truth. This is why I have railed against churches and ministries who left the marketplace for the comfort, safety, and PROFITABILITY of the Christian subculture it has created to operate in, leaving the lost masses to be devoured by the minions of satan!!!

Many years ago, people thought I was joking when I said once the nation decides to allow same sex marriage, they would then have to legalize someone who wanted to marry 3, 4, 5 women or men! After all, once you pervert God’s definition of marriage, who can say you can’t love 3 women, or 3 men? According to the logic of those ! who CHOOSE to engage in
sex with someone of the same sex, how dare anyone say who a person can love? If I am in love with a duck, who out there can deny me the ability to marry my duck???

Because the perversion of God’s definition of marriage upheld by the Supreme Court several years ago, I stated that legalizing polygamy would be next. Go ahead and laugh like so many did 20 years ago when I told you men would soon legally marry men, women would soon legally marry women! Well, it is happening now in several states!

I also warned that marrying children would soon be legal. Since it is an element of Islamic religious beliefs, we have thousands of Muslims immigrating to this nation with their “wife” who is under the age of 16! Trust me, it won’t be long before they will be outright marrying children in this nation, LEGALLY!!!

What about polygamy? When you read God’s Word, you read about great men of faith, men who lived their lives for God like Abraham and Solomon. These me! n did great
things for God and are used as examples of how to live a Godly life. These men were also richly blessed by God. However, they all had one glaring issue that cannot be ignored. They all had multiple wives! This fact often confuses people who are curious how these great men of God could be so blessed but living in blatant rebellion to God in this area of their life. The reality is, they forfeited many of the blessings they should have had because of this sin in their life.

The Bible is perfectly clear about God’s Holy Institution of Marriage. It is one man, with one woman, for one lifetime. God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Eve and Julie. Or Adam and Eve, Julie, Cathy, and Susan. God’s plan for marriage was one man and one woman. In Genesis 2:24, God’s intention is clearly presented when He says, “They shall be one flesh.” In giving the qualifications for a king in Deuteronomy Chapter 17, Verse 17, God clearly states that the king was not to have multiple wives. In ! giving
the qualifications for those who lead the church in 1 Timothy 3:2 and 12 and in Titus 1:6, the Bible states that these men are to have only one wife. This passage in the Greek is not only speaking of someone who has not been divorced, but makes it clear that having multiple wives disqualified someone to be in a leadership position.

You actually don’t have to get very far into human history to see God’s plan for marriage perverted. The first Biblical account of men taking multiple wives is recorded in Genesis 4:19 where a man names Lamech took two wives. Having multiple wives throughout history has always been a mark of nations, people groups, who lived their lives in rebellion to the God of the Bible. Sadly, some have tried to justify polygamy by pointing to men of God in the Bible like Abraham and others who had multiple wives. They are 100% wrong and there is NO WAY to justify polygamy by using the Bible.

Let me make sure you understand something perfectly clea! r. God
never permitted at any time for men to have multiple wives. When we read about Abraham and others taking multiple wives, we also read about the consequences of this sin in their life. Don’t forget what I tell you often. Our obedience to God and His Word brings blessings, our rebellion to God and His Word brings consequences! There will ALWAYS be consequences when you choose to live in rebellion to God. Even great men of God like Abraham, like Solomon, were not immune to the consequences when they chose to sin against God.

One of the things I love about God’s Word is that it does not try to hide the failings of men who did great things for God in their lives. Look at David. His sin with Bathsheba could have been omitted, but God allowed his sin to be exposed to all of the generations through His Word. The consequences of Abraham’s sin in taking another wife are still being felt in the world today since the Jewish people are directly linked back to his son with Sarah, Is! aac, and
the Arab people directly linked back to his son with Hagar, Ishmael. When you read about Abraham having to send Hagar and her son away due to the conflict with Sara and Isaac, I am not sure we can begin to fully comprehend the human emotions of such a tragic event.

Then you have Solomon. As I shared with you the other day in speaking of Solomon and his summation of what this life is about in Ecclesiastes 12:13, I have carefully studied his life. Solomon is a very complex individual and a classic study of someone who gets so caught up in the success and allure of this world they forsake God. Solomon followed God since his youth, became the King of Israel, finished building the Temple of God in Jerusalem started by his father David. He is probably best known for his incredible wisdom. As you read about the life of Solomon you can see the hand and blessings of God upon him.

Despite having God’s favor and blessings, Solomon allowed the temporal things of this world t! o take
priority over his commitment to God. Being allowed by God to gain victory over the enemies of Israel, Solomon took part in a custom of that day where the conquering king, Solomon, was given the daughter of the defeated king to be his wife. So Solomon not only began taking multiple wives (against God’s admonition in Deuteronomy 17:17), these were women from heathen nations that did not know or honor the God of Israel and brought their false gods with them into the marriage. Over time, Solomon ended up with 700 wives and 300 concubines. (Personal observation: It is clear that by this time in his life, Solomon used up all of his wisdom, since having one wife is a full time commitment. 700? The thought makes my head hurt.)

One reason God says in His Word in 2 Corinthians 6:14 “do not be yoked together with unbelievers” is because of the negative influence your unbelieving spouse will have on your faith. Solomon was a great example of a man who knew, followed, and served Go! d, but
became influenced by the false gods and idols of his foreign wives. This is exactly why God told the children of Israel to not take “strange wives,” or wives from nations that worshiped false gods. At a time in his life when Solomon should have been enjoying the blessings of God, instead he was dealing with the consequences of his rebellion to God from having multiple and foreign wives. His life actually ends with little fanfare and rather sadly due to his sin. SIN ALWAYS COSTS, AND ALWAYS COSTS MORE THAN WE EXPECT TO PAY!

I love you and care about you so much. Not only is polygamy against the law in the United States, it has never been a practice of most in our culture. However, there are those who advocate having multiple wives, and there are other nations around the world in which it is an acceptable practice. Due to the fact we have some of the great men of God in the Bible who took multiple wives, I thought it was important to deal with this issue and insure you u! nderstood
that this was never God’s plan for marriage and those who take multiple wives are clearly in rebellion to God and His Word.

I will be praying for you today. I want to specifically pray for those who are married today. Marriage is God’s Holy Institution. It is a wonderful gift from God and his plan for most people’s lives. It is one of the most difficult things in the world for two people to become one. But with the Lord at the center of your lives together, it can be the most incredible and special thing in your life other than your relationship with Christ. For those who are going through a problem in your marriage today, I will be praying for God to bring healing and restoration to you remarriage. For those who are not having problems, I will pray that you continue to be richly blessed in your marriage each day.

In His love and service,

When a conversation comes up about a globalist point of view or a nationalist point of view, most people assume it is about politics. As nations around the world become more “global,” they also become less God-fearing, less Christian, and more atheistic. The Bible is full of admonitions to love your brother, to love others. What an incredible way to show your love to someone that you never even met in this lifetime, than by donating your organs and giving the gift of life! What does God say about this? Obviously, there are no passages of scripture that speaks directly for or against donating your organs after you die. So as is often the case, we need to take the whole counsel of God into consideration in looking at this issue.

Our bodies serve two purposes during this life. They are the clay shells that w! e occupy during our
brief journey, and for the believer, they become the temple of the Holy Spirit during this life. The Bible is quite clear that when this life is over, it is our soul that lives on for eternity and our bodies will return to the “dust of the earth” as God mandated. Our bodies serve no further purpose once we are dead.

Many ask about the “body” we will have after death. Scripture is clear that whatever body we will have will be a glorified body. Many people have their bodies destroyed in death. Whether you choose to be buried or cremated, your body will be destroyed. In cremation it is burned, in burial it slowly decomposes until it is nothing more than dust. So the body we will possess post-death will be a glorified body.

Since our bodies serve no further purpose once we are dead, it simply becomes an issue for each person to decide how they will have their bodies disposed of. This means that before you are buried or cremated, donating your organs simply comes down! to a
choice each person has to make. If your organs are healthy and able to be used by someone else, there is really no good reason NOT to donate them. The reality is, you are dead and you won’t need them any longer.

What a great way to show love for someone than by literally giving of yourself so that they can continue to live. God clearly calls us to love one another, to serve others. Donating your organs is an incredible act of love and service.

I love you and care about you so much. I will be praying for you today that you will seriously pray about this special act of love. God gives us many opportunities in our life to serve others. This is the last act of service that we can perform, one that can literally save the life of someone else. Remember this, all that we have is from God and is simply on loan to us during this brief journey. That includes our organs. I pray today that you will seriously consider donating your organs once you die and give the gift of

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: Ron Reagan, the son of former President Ronald Reagan and his second wife Nancy, is a very public atheist and on the Board of the Freedom From Religion Foundation. FFRF is an organization that promotes the separation of church and state and educates the public on matters relating to atheism, agnosticism, and nontheism. Regan stars in TV commercials for the group and ends his message stating, “I’m a lifelong atheist and I’m not afraid of burning in hell.” After 27 years of evangelistic minis! try, I can
honestly tell you that I have only met a handful of people who literally wanted to go to hell. If you notice, Reagan didn’t state he WANTED to burn in hell, but that he wasn’t afraid of burning in hell. Sadly, these are the words of a fool who obviously has made the freewill choice to reject that there is such a place as hell. I can assure you, even the smug and arrogant Ron Reagan would reconsider if he was ever to consider hell really does exist!

So many times I see Christians with long faces, head down, shoulders slumped, looking like the fans of a football team that just lost the big game. Often when I talk to other believers, they tell me that life is rough and serving God seems l! ike a trip to the dentist
for a root canal. Is it any wonder why those who are without Christ aren’t real excited about “serving God.”

I’ll tell you a secret that has worked well for me over the years. When I am in trouble. When I have many problems all around me. When the enemy is attacking on all sides. My first response is to pray, then to get busy serving God. I am a firm believer that if we are about His business, He will be about our business. If I am serving Him, He is serving me. That doesn’t mean everything goes away and disappears. It isn’t magic. But it works because when our focus is on others, it allows God to work on those things in our life only He can fix.

The key in service though is to serve with joy! Serving others should not be a task, but something we should look forward to and are joyful about. Joy is infectious. It spreads to others. Serving without joy almost makes your service ineffective. How many times have you eaten at a restaurant where the waiter or waitress ! was
unpleasant. At times, you almost wish you could just get the food yourself and not have to even deal with them because of their bad attitude.

Serving others should be a joyful experience, if for no other reason, because it is what God expects from us. When you focus on why you are here, to serve and glorify God with your life, it should make you joyful because you are fulfilling the purpose for which God created you.

I am going to leave you with these thoughts today to ponder and pray about. Do you serve with a joyful heart? Do people see your service as something you do grudgingly or something you do joyfully? Joy is something you can’t buy and something most people long for each day.

Have joy if you know Christ because your eternal destination in heaven is established. Have joy when you serve Him because that is part of the reason God created you. Show those you serve joy because they will have a desire to know the kind of joy you possess, and you can use! the
opportunity to tell them that kind of joy only comes from knowing Christ as your Savior.

I love you and am praying for you today. Never think it is a burden when you email me your special prayer requests. It is a joy on my part to serve you. It is no accident you are reading this devotional, it is no accident that God is speaking to you about the problems you are facing. God can speak to us in many ways, through many people.

Know I am here to help you, pray for you, and see you be victorious over the things in your life keeping you from enjoying all of the rich blessings God has in store for your life. Let today not only be a day of joy, but let that joy be part of your life each and every day!

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, Thank You for Your love and protection. As I go through the day, please continue to watch over and protect me from the evil and harm that is in this world. I look to You for my strength, for guidance, and for protection! In the name of Jesus…AMEN!

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: States ready to legalize prostitution! Our states are becoming crime families. All 50 states are in the legal drug business, few are concerned about the abuse of those legal drugs that are killing their citizens. Now, many are starting to sell marijuana which used to only be available illegally. All 50 states are in the gambling business, whether it is the lottery, casinos, horse racing, or now sports. An argument can be made that the taxes many states charge are a form of extortion. Pimping women for sex, dealing drugs, bookmaking, and extortion. Sounds like the activities of any crime f! amily

How can you trust what you read on Christian Internet sites, hear on Christian radio, or see on Christian television. Even more important, how can trust you what church to go to? Every single day, we are inundated here at Liveprayer with emails from people who are confused and misled because of things they have read on Christian websites. There are currently tens of millions of websites that claim to be “Christian.” Along this same line, we also deal every day with people who email us with questions abo! ut something they heard
on Christian radio or saw on Christian television. Most alarming, however, are the emails we get daily from people confused because of what they were told at a church they went to.

From the very beginning of the church in the Book of Acts, heresy was a problem. Every time I read the passage about Simon the Sorcerer in Acts Chapter 8, I can’t help but to think of many of the people you see on TV today representing Christ. Paul was constantly dealing with those who were preaching “another gospel,” a perversion of the Truth. Writings in contradiction to the Scriptures were very prominent even at the time the books of the New Testament were being written. Apostate churches, churches that operated in rebellion to God’s Word have been part of the scene since the church was birthed right after the death and resurrection of Jesus. So these are not new issues the church has had to contend with.

Let me give you some basic rules to try and help you so that you are not decei! ved by
what you read on “Christian websites,” watch and hear on Christian TV and radio, and so that you are not going to a church that is operating in rebellion to God despite their claim to be “Christian.” When it comes to Christian websites, you are dealing with a very dangerous world for the simple fact that there are no standards, no controls, no restrictions on content. For less than $100 you can create a basic website and for $20 a month have it hosted. This allows basically anyone to have a website on the Internet. I don’t think I need to say much more for you to see how incredibly dangerous this is when the reality is, virtually anyone can have a “Christian” website that says anything you can dream up..AND THEY DO!

I look for several things when I am visiting a Christian website I am not familiar with. The first thing is who put the website up? What is the name of the person or organization responsible for the content. Second, if I don’t know that person or organizati! on, I
want to find out who they are. What is their Statement of Faith? Lastly and most critical, does what they say line up with God’s Word? (Here we are, back at that critical place we come to often when it is so important for you to read and study God’s Word so that you can discern when you are being told something that is simply not in the Bible or a perversion of what God says in His Word.) If I can’t find out who the person or organization is, what their Statement of Faith is, I refuse to even read what is on their site. A legitimate Christian website is going to be very up front about who they are and what they believe.

When it comes to Christian radio and television, it is not quite as easy since you are dealing with people who are proficient in speaking as well as in eliciting your emotions, making it much more difficult to discern those who are preaching a false message. Since they all use the Bible, it makes it very difficult to discern error when they take Scriptu! re out of
context or pervert it. That is why when it comes to anyone on radio or television, unless I know who they are, where they stand doctrinally, I won’t even allow myself to listen to them. Again, it goes back to knowing WHO the person is that is feeding you spiritually. Not too many people are going to let a stranger come up to you on the street and give you something to eat they have cooked. If you are that cautious about what you eat when it comes to food for your body, you should be even more cautious when it comes to the spiritual food for your eternal soul!

Without a doubt, what drives me crazy every day are so called “churches” that are no more a church than a mosque is! Just 50 years ago, you could go to any Christian church regardless of their denomination, and even though there might be some difference in some of the doctrinal issues we have used to divide ourselves, the bottom line was that they still preached and taught from one source…THE BIBLE! In most chur! ches
today, you are more likely to hear passages from New Age garbage like “The Secret,” or a book of poems, or about any book OTHER THAN God’s Word. In some churches, you have to make sure you are not in the local comedy club as you are fed a monologue of jokes. The fact is that you will rarely go to a church where you will actually hear about sin and be brought under conviction about anything, since the goal is not to help you grow spiritually, but entertain you and all at all costs, NOT OFFEND YOU OR ANYONE!

Of course, you are very likely to go to a church and sit next to a man and woman living together outside of the bonds of marriage who don’t even know that is not God’s plan, or next to Thomas and Mark who are in a “loving relationship,” or a local attorney who is married and having an affair everyone knows about with the cute girl in the third row of the choir. You are more likely to get a free toaster for coming to church than a Bible. You won’t hear about how to sa! ve souls,
but you will hear about the next “Vegas night” with all the proceeds going to the churches school. You will hear stories of reaching people in some far off country, but never hear about any efforts to reach the people who live within a block of the church. You will be challenged to give to build a new building, but not save the lost. You are more likely to see a skit or creative dance number than hear how to be a Godly mother or father. One thing I guarantee you that you will NOT hear on Sunday in 90% of the so called churches out there, and that is in invitation to know Jesus as your Savior!

It is easy to warn people about the cults like the Mormons, the Jehovah’s Witnesses, the Unitarians, who try to masquerade as “Christian churches.” The sad reality of the year 2019 is that I am just as leery of most churches who claim to be followers of Christ! Churches that openly promote and glorify gross sin like homosexuality. Churches that support a woman’s choice to kill her! unborn
baby. Here is the bottom line litmus test for any pastor and church… God’s Word. If any pastor does not believe that the Bible is God’s inspired, inerrant Word, representing Absolute Truth and our final authority in all matters, that is a man to RUN FROM! Any church that is not preaching and teaching the Bible, is a church to RUN FROM! There is only ONE TRUTH, the Bible. There is only ONE BOOK that can transform the hearts and lives of men, the Bible! The job of the church is to save the lost, spiritually feed the congregation from God’s Word, provide a community of faith for Believers, and train and equip the saints to serve the Lord!

I love you and care about you so much. The Internet is such a great tool to reach people for Christ. I thank God daily for this incredible technology that we have been able to use to reach tens of millions of people all over the world over these past 20+ years, impacting lives for Christ every day, and see over 1.6 million souls we kno! w of
rerouted from a conveyor belt to hell to a mansion in Glory! However, it is also a very dangerous place since there are no restrictions or guidelines and anyone with a few dollars can put up whatever content they want, leading unsuspecting people astray with false theology and bad doctrine. That is why it is critical to know who is putting up the website what they really believe, and measure all they say thru the filter of God’s Word.

You should use the same guidelines for Christian radio and television. KNOW WHO THE PERSON IS who is feeding you spiritually. Check them out before you listen to them. Most of the people you will see and hear have a great gift to communicate, they know how to play on your emotions, and they can be very deceiving in the things they say. When it comes to where you go to church, the pastor is critical since he is the one God called to lead that congregation. He MUST believe the Bible to be God’s inspired and inerrant Word and needs to preach! and
teach from that Book. There is no other source of Truth, and there are no other words that can transform your heart and life for this life and all eternity.

NEVER FORGET THIS. No matter how beautiful a website may be, no matter how charismatic a man or woman on radio or television may be, no matter how gorgeous and state-of-the-art a church may be, they all mean NOTHING unless they are bringing you the Truth of God’s Word. Without the Truth of the Bible, a website can do nothing! As clever as many of these men and women in Christian media think they are, they only have one message that means anything, the Gospel. A true church can’t offer you anything of eternal significance other than to feed you with God’s Word.

In the end, there is only one way you can trust what you read on Christian Internet sites, hear on radio, or see on television, and what church to go to…that is if they are presenting the Truth of the Bible!!!

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, Thank You today for making me rich beyond anything this world can offer. Because of your love, I can have a peace, joy, and abundance that you can’t put a price tag on. I am the child of a KING, with a rich inheritance worth more than all of the wealth of this world multiplied by 1000! Most of all, Thank You for dying for my sins so that I can spend eternity with You in a mansion You have prepared for me on streets of gold. Hallelujah! In the name of Jesus I pray…AMEN!!!

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: Without the peace of God! There is a new study stating that 4 in 10 people are at the breaking point because of their job. It also states that ½ of younger adults leave their job due to mental health issues. As I have shared in respect to so many issues, there is a mental health component. We no longer have any legitimate mental health infrastructure in this nation. Add to that, we are a na! tion where
the better percentage of the past 2 generations have never been to church, and overall have forsaken God and His Truth. True peace comes from God! A sound mind comes from God! Is it any wonder why we are seeing studies like this at a time in our nation when God has been forsaken?

Sex+teens=destroyed lives!!! For over a decade has featured young teens, as young as 15, glorifying sex, drugs, alcohol, and utter rebellion to common decency. MTV is also the channel that glorifies young teen girls having children. This channel is a cesspool of debauchery that glorifies everything God and the Bible stands for.

Worse of all, it is simply a mirror of where society is at. MTV would not be creatin! g such programs unless
there was a demand and market for them. They are simply supplying society with content it wants to see, while brainwashing a new generation of CHILDREN that there are no consequences from uninhibited sex, drug and alcohol use, and living with no morals.

A relationship between a man and woman is NOT a game! It is a serious, life-changing business. Every day, approximately 5,000 of the 40,000 prayer requests I receive at Liveprayer are from young adults 18 and under, and the vast majority of them are dealing with the issue of relationships. Let me say right up front, I personally feel that a young man and woman should WAIT until after High School to start dating.

Dating, having a relationship with someone of the opposite sex, should be for the purpose of finding your partner for life. A 12, 13, even 16 or ! 17 year
old, is RARELY equipped or ready to be thinking about marriage. So they enter into a relationship solely based on feelings they don’t understand or have under control yet, and for every reason BUT marriage.

I realize that MTV and all of the garbage on TV targeting a young adult audience glorifies teen relationships. EVER SEEN A GODLY TEEN RELATIONSHIP ON TV? As Christians, we are to live UP to the standards of God, not DOWN to the standards of this sinful world!!!

Here are the two problems. First, in EVERY relationship you have, you give a piece of yourself away. By the time you finally get married, after say 3 to 10 relationships, that is how much LESS of you the one you are committing to spend your life with will get. The second problem is that going in and out of relationships means each new one becomes less special, breaking up becomes easier each time you do it, and you develop a mindset that you eventually take into marriage that makes it easy to get divorc! ed when
things don’t go as you hoped. Marriage becomes little more than a legal date.

I get flooded with emails every time I mention about young adults waiting until after high school to date. They pour in from young men and women, 13, 14, 15, 16 years old who tell me that I don’t know what I am talking about. They are in “love.” Getting involved in a relationship unlocks our emotions. It sets off things inside of us that have incredible power over us to the extent we don’t act or think rationally. We become consumed.

Mature, experienced people in their 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s often destroy their very lives by letting these emotions rule them. What chance does an inexperienced teen have? None! The results of these teen romances range from hurt feelings, all the way to death, and everything in between.

I get emails daily from young adults who have diseases they will carry with them the rest of their life, have had children that obviously dramatically altered their li! fe, as
well as those who made the unfortunate choice to have an abortion and are now dealing with the consequences of that choice. I get emails daily from young men and women who have broken up and are contemplating suicide, can’t eat or sleep, or simply have no desire to do anything. The fact is, God gave you free will to make choices.

To choose to enter into a serious boyfriend/girlfriend relationship before you are out of high school is a BAD CHOICE and can dramatically change your life forever. By the way, there is nothing magical about being out of High School. It is simply one major “life hurdle” out of the way that is part of the foundation of your life. There is PLENTY of time after High School to start dating.

Even though this is not even a debatable issue, because it is such a problem, let me quickly address it. There is absolutely NO situation when sex outside of marriage is acceptable to God. NONE. ZERO. There is a Biblical word fornication. It literally mea! ns any
sex outside of marriage. Any boyfriend or girlfriend that is willing to have sex before marriage is NOT the person God has chosen for your life. It is simply not acceptable. Don’t play games in this area!

I get emails all the time asking how far can you go? Jesus said if you lust in your heart you have already committed adultery. If you have to ask how far you can go, you are already too far. Once you allow lust into your heart, God says you have already sinned. Let that be your standard to judge by since it is impossible to engage in ANY act that wasn’t already birthed in your heart. The physical act is simply the manifestation of the sin already committed in your heart.

Having said that, let me talk to you about the two most important elements of a relationship should you be thinking of marriage. The first is God’s warning found in 2 Corinthians 6:14 to NOT BE UNEQUALLY YOKED. I have done entire Devotionals on this issue. It is a warning from God to protect you.
Choosing to ignore this warning is no different than deciding to run a stop sign. You are asking for serious problems.

I cannot even begin to tell you how many emails I get from men and women daily who ignored this warning and are now dealing with the consequences. Consequences, by the way, that have literally changed their lives. The person you enter into a relationship MUST also be a Christian and actually living their life for Christ.

The second is the foundation on which you build your relationship. If you do not have a spiritual foundation to your relationship, how can you expect your marriage to survive the storms that come in every relationship? It is exactly like the story Jesus told at the end of Matthew Chapter 7. The marriage built on a spiritual foundation is like the house built on a rock. The marriage built on any other foundation is like the house built on the sand.

My friend, again, let me reiterate. God gave everyone free will to make choic! es. You
can do what you want with your life. My only purpose today is to help you make wise, informed choices about things that will affect the outcome of your life.

I love you and care about you so much. I can’t even begin to tell you how my heart is broken today, reading email after email of how people’s lives have been decimated by these teen romances. The fact is, so much of the heartache, pain, and tragedy many have lived through could have been avoided if they had simply listened to God.

When you are having relationships without even understanding what is going on in the world, when you are engaging in sex outside of marriage, you are simply NEVER going to know the peace, joy, and abundance that this life can offer when you do it God’s way!

The other problem is, so many of God’s children end up battling with the domestic issues. They are of little service to the Lord. Never forget, that is our purpose in this life, to serve and glorify Him with our lives. Th! e enemy
gets us so distracted handling the consequences of our rebellion, that we have little time or energy left to serve Him.

Please read, and reread these words today. Commit them to your heart. I realize how strong emotions can be, and how they can cloud your judgment. That is why the more focused you are on what God’s plan is, the less chance you will have of compromising and getting into trouble.

The bottom line to these words today is this. Do it your way, and it will never work out as God intended. Do it God’s way and it works. Life is NOT something to dread, but something to embrace and enjoy. The choice is yours. I will be praying as you make the choice God is asking you to make.

Is it a guarantee that if you wait until after high school to start dating, find a spouse who is saved and living for the Lord, build a spiritual foundation together, that your marriage will not end in divorce? No! Sin can creep into people’s lives and satan loves nothing more th! an to
destroy a marriage. But I can promise you that the odds of you making it are 1,000x better.

A relationship between a man and woman is NOT a game! It is a serious, life-changing business. A relationship God’s way can be the most beautiful and rewarding experience you can ever imagine!!!

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller
