Satan is not playing games! My friend, the most important reason that you HAVE and MUST stay in a close, daily relationship with Jesus, is because there is a very real enemy out there looking to destroy you. This is not some sort of cheap horror movie character, but a very real being who the Bible says is roaming around looking for someone to devour. The amazing thing is, the more you are doing for God, the closer you get to God, the more of a threat you become to the devil.

Last month, we took satan on in New York City as we took our stand for Christ at ground zero in response to the satanic false religion of Islam that is growing stronger in this nation by the day. It actually was amusing watching the national and international press coddle satan’s tool, Imam Rauf, as he lied about being a “man of peace,” while castigating me for simply sharing the simple truth of the Gospel.

So it is not surprising that satan is attacking us once again at the only place he can do any damage…our finances. We ended the month just under $20,000 short of meeting all of our operational expenses, we still have $15,000 to go to cover our shortfall from 2009, and we still need to cover the $7,000 for each of the last 2 weeks of September and the first week of October at the new 9-11 Christian Center. That is $56,000 we need by this Friday to simply cover our basic operational budget.

If that was not enough, last Friday our bank called. A dear lady who was led by the Lord to make a $10,000 donation to Liveprayer, did not tell her husband about her gift to the ministry. Her husband was not pleased and put a stop payment on the check. Since we are running so tight, that overdrew our operational account by $10,000. I am telling you this today to let you know that satan is a liar, he has already lost, and while some may be dismayed by such an event I actually drew strength from it.

I am even more fervent than ever in all that we are doing each day to reach the lost and hurting masses outside of the four walls of the church. I know many of you today are struggling in different areas. For some it may be your health, others your finances, others with your marriage, still others with an addiction. Let me tell you today, SATAN IS A LIAR AND HE HAS ALREADY LOST! There is V-I-C-T-O-R-Y in Jesus!!! Be not dismayed but be encouraged, God has neither left you nor forsaken you. Your faith in the Lord will sustain you!!!

I am not sharing this word with you to scare you, but to encourage you. Many of the attacks you are under today are because the enemy is trying to do everything possible to keep you from becoming an effective servant of God. He is trying to distract you from serving Him. God has promised to fight for us. God has promised to protect us. If you know Jesus, you are covered by the blood and the enemy has no way to get you, as long as you stay close to the Lord each and every day.

My word for you today is to stay in close daily fellowship with Jesus. Pray, read the Bible, fellowship with other believers. Keep working for God no matter what else is going on around you. Keep your eye on the prize. Keep running the race. Discouragement is one of the enemies biggest weapons, and I say to you today that you have no reason to be discouraged, because you know Jesus.

The problems, however large they may seem, are but temporary. You have already won the eternal battle. Knowing that fact, go forth today in a spirit of victory and fight on. We have already won. Let’s start living like it and show this lost world that there is total and complete victory in Jesus!!

I love you and care about you deeply; you don’t have to battle alone. I will not stop fighting and I am encouraging you to not stop fighting either. Actually, the Bible tells us that the Lord will fight for us. Additionally, I am here praying for you. I will stand with you. Never hesitate to email me and let me stand in agreement with you for those battles you are fighting in your life.

I am asking God to send one person who can wire the $10,000 to our bank account today before 3pm ET, and several more who have the ability to help us make up our shortfall by the end of the week. I refuse to sit back and give satan any victories. Anything he does is but temporary, since in the end, God will have the final word. I need 3-4 people today to make the sacrifice to stand with me in this work with a significant gift, as we are on the verge of seeing a major breakthrough. I know there are many God is speaking to right now, and can only ask you to be obedient.

It has been the obedience of many over the last 11 years that has allowed us to impact tens of millions of lives and see over 500,000 we know of come to faith in Jesus Christ, and it will be the obedience of friends like you today and tomorrow that will enable us to keep reaching the lost and hurting, and help lead this nation back to God and HIS Truth.
