Remain True to the Faith

(Acts 14:22)

**ASK BILL: Pastor Bill, few are chosen? What exactly does that mean? It makes it sound like only a few select people will be saved.

ANSWER: Scripture teaches that it is God’s desire for ALL to be saved, that none be lost. Sadly, it is man exercising his freewill who makes that decision by faith to accept Jesus or reject Him. Those who will be saved have made the conscious, freewill choice to accept the Lord by faith. The “few” refers to the fact a large percentage will sadly reject faith in Christ. It also refers to the fact that even amongst Believers, God calls each of us to serve Him in various ways. Many however, choose NOT to fulfill his plan for their life by never fully surrendering to His will and serving Him as they are called!

Remain true to the faith. Along our journey of faith, God knows when we need encouragement, when our flesh is weak and we need to be challenged to press on. I am no different than you or any other man. I have my times of weakness, my moments of doubt, those days when the battles are simply too fierce. Satan is only too happy to seize those moments as he did when Jesus was in the wilderness for 40 days and nights. He comes to tempt me, acting as my friend who is concerned about my well being, giving me all the justification I need to take my eyes off the prize. This is how satan will come to you as well. Listen to me carefully. SATAN IS A LIAR! HE IS NOT OUR FRIEND! HIS GOAL IS TO KILL, STEAL AND DESTROY….YOU AND ME!!!

Several months ago a dear friend sent me an excerpt from the writings of that great preacher and theologian from the 1800’s Charles Spurgeon. As God’s timing is always perfect, it came at a moment when I needed some encouragement. The weight of the work was extremely heavy and the flesh weary that day. I sat at my desk and read Spurgeon’s’ words and tears literally ran down my cheeks as I was read about my life, my battles, my challenges in his poignant words. I have printed out that passage he wrote and keep it with me. I refer to it often since it so perfectly sums up my life. It also perfectly sums up the life of any follower of Christ who is sold out to serve the Lord until their dying breath.

I want to share those powerful words with you today. I pray that they will inspire and encourage you as much as they have me so many days. They really sum up what this journey is all about. There is perhaps no greater challenge we have as followers of Christ than to remain true to the faith. So many over the years have been like Demas who we read about in the Book of Acts. Demas was a man serving God, but decided to turn back to the world. In those moments of temptation I often think back to the words of Peter. When asked by Jesus if he would turn away from the Lord Peter boldly responded in John 6:68, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life!” That is why the child of God presses on, remains true to the faith. To whom shall we go?

Spurgeon writes: “Perseverance is the badge of true saints. The Christian life is not a beginning only in the ways of God, but also a continuance in the same as long as life lasts. It is with a Christian as it was with the great Napoleon: he said, “Conquest has made me what I am, and conquest must maintain me.” So, under God, dear brother in the Lord, conquest has made you what you are, and conquest must sustain you. Your motto must be, “Excelsior.” He only is a true conqueror, and shall be crowned at the last, who continueth till war’s trumpet is blown no more. Perseverance is, therefore, the target of all our spiritual enemies. The world does not object to your being a Christian for a time, if she can but tempt you to cease your pilgrimage, and settle down to buy and sell with her in Vanity Fair. The flesh will seek to ensnare you, and to prevent your pressing on to glory. “It is weary work being a pilgrim; come, give it up. Am I always to be mortified? Am I never to be indulged? Give me at least a furlough from this constant warfare.” Satan will make many a fierce attack on your perseverance; it will be the mark for all his arrows. He will strive to hinder you in service: he will insinuate that you are doing no good; and that you want rest. He will endeavour to make you weary of suffering, he will whisper, “Curse God, and die.” Or he will attack your steadfastness: “What is the good of being so zealous? Be quiet like the rest; sleep as do others, and let your lamp go out as the other virgins do.” Or he will assail your doctrinal sentiments: “Why do you hold to these denominational creeds? Sensible men are getting more liberal; they are removing the old landmarks: fall in with the times.” Wear your shield, Christian, therefore, close upon your armour, and cry mightily unto God, that by His Spirit you may endure to the end.”

I love you and care about you so much. I pray today that you will pray over these powerful words, reading them over and over. They sum up so eloquently the challenge of remaining true to the faith. The challenge to not turn away from serving the Lord after a season to go back into the world. The temptation to indulge the flesh. The lies that the work you do for the Lord is all in vain and makes no difference. The physical battle of fighting weariness and fatigue. Taking the easy road of compromise. The war against apathy and political correctness. These are all very real issues those who serve the Lord must face along their journey through life as they strive to remain true to the faith.

I pray today that these words will challenge and encourage you in your personal journey. It is our steadfastness and perseverance that satan will assail. A Christian does not scare satan, however, a Christian who is steadfast and perseveres no matter what life throws his way is the enemy’s worst nightmare! I hear every day from people who tell me they have followed the exploits of Liverpayer over these many years and have been encouraged by the fact no matter what challenges come our way we keep pressing forward, faithfully serving the Lord and trusting Him each step of the way, and then see the incredible fruit from that steadfastness and perseverance. I try my best daily to set an example for you that Jesus has already won the victory, our responsibility is to simply remain true to the faith!

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller

(John 4:16)

“….more and more of your devotional copy is spent on begging to raise more $…….I realize that a valid ministry does take money. You have been at this crossroads now for 2 or more’s beginning to read like those 4 day going out of business furniture sales that go on week after week after week.”

“…you are nothing but a typical money-grubber…why don’t you go out and get a real job?”

These are excerpts from two emails we got yesterday, in addition to the 40,000 we receive daily for prayer and counsel. To be fair, we have received emails like these for the 16 yrs we have been online, and the 12 yrs on TV, as people who have never taken the time to get to know me or our work here at Liveprayer immediately lump me with the prosperity pimps on Christian TV running their money hustle games for their private jets, Bentleys, mansions, buildings, and opulent lifestyle.

They actually amuse me to some degree since most people telling me to get a “real job” wouldn’t last 2 days just following me, let alone have all that is required theologically, operationally, and ministerially to remotely do what I do. As my wife often reminds me, I would actually make more working for minimum wage at McDonalds and get a paycheck every week!

I wonder if these people think all that is required to reach millions worldwide 24/7/365 happens by magic? I wonder if they are upset when politicians “beg” people to give them $50,000 for a chicken dinner to pursue their political ideology, or those commercials with one-eyes animals and the creepy music designed to induce you to give to some animal rescue group, or any number of non-profit organizations that depend upon donations to fund their work and without shame ask the public to give to their cause.

Since the first month of Liveprayer, I have simply got on my knees that first day of the month and simply asked God to provide what we needed to cover our operations for that month. Not a penny more. Until the past 5 yrs when the economy took such a hit and so many people have struggled, I would share our financial needs 3-4x a month.

Even though it still comprises less than 3% of our content each day, without sharing our needs, letting people know where we are at and challenging them to help, we wouldn’t be able to continue. Very few people have greater faith than I do, and those aren’t words, I live it every day. The same God who has sustained His work here for the past 16 yrs will sustain it until He calls me home or the Lord returns!

The fact is, if I was a “typical moneygrubber,” I would have done what Hinn, Dollar, Jakes, and the rest of the Christian ministries do and simply preach to the choir, use Scripture our of context to lie to you why giving me money will make you rich, or other deceptive tactics they use in order to guilt you into giving them your money.

If that was my goal, I would just be another “ear tickling” motivational preacher like Osteen and never mention sin, hell, or anything else that would offend people in order to amass a great following (and money!). I guess I was an idiot all these years for not asking people to give money for private planes, buildings, mansions, cars, and million dollar salaries like the rest of these guys have done, and still do today!

A few years ago the ultra-liberal blog that has hammered me for years, the Huffington Post founded by Arianna Huffington who was already rich after marrying and divorcing Michael Huffington, was bought by AOL for $315 million. What a world we live in when a left-wing anti-Christian blog is bought by a major entity like AOL, whose stock price has already lost over half a billion dollars in value since the purchase!

I remember over the years many offers by different groups and ministries to buy One offer 5 years ago was for just under $6 million. I guess a true “money grubber” would have sold the ministry, or used the website like most to sell books, tapes, resources, and fill the site with advertising that would make it look like a NASCAR while pocketing millions, instead of providing all of the incredible unique content we produce each day for millions of people worldwide for FREE!

Since 2008, we have seen a 65% drop in donations like most churches, ministries, and non-profits have. In difficult financial times, I had a wonderful group of 30 people I could call on to help with a gift of $5,000, $10,000, even $20,000. The last 2 people out of a group of 30 from just 6 years ago that I could always count on for financial help in a time of need, contributed just under10% of the operations in 2014. One of those dear friends went to be with the Lord last fall, and the other had a successful business that has been destroyed by Obamacare.

By God’s grace, it was 480 of our dear friends who stepped up in 2014 to supply the $800,000 we required for our operations. The 2 who I spoke of who supplied just under 10% of our donations, along with 18 others who supplied another 15%, along with the gifts of everyone else totaled what we needed during the year to pay for our ministry operations.

EVERYONE who prayed and those who made the sacrifce to give were responsible for the incredible year of ministry we had last year. As we are nearing the end of the first month of this new year, we are back in a familiar place of needing several of our friends to step up in a significant way over the next couple days, and one or two who are able to help me TODAY!

—>$6,000 of our monthly internet budget and $9,000 of our TV budget is required TODAY! I am on my knees praying for 1, 2, or 3 of our friends who are able help me today with a special one-time gift of $5,000 up to the $15,000 required to insure these critical payments for our internet and TV budgets are covered today!

EMAIL ME AT: if you are able to help me with a gift today of $2,000 or more so we can make the arrangements to get your gift to us ASAP!

For those who encourage me to get a “real job,” at age 20 and for the 10 years I ran from God before going into the ministry, I was richly blessed making 6 and some years 7 figures, never knowing what financial pressures were. Since starting Liveprayer nearly 16 yrs ago, I have mortgaged my modest home 8 times to help fund the minsitry, and like many people, it is currently $40,000 under water. The reality is, I would be much better financially having a “real job,” instead of serving the Lord, but I no longer yearn for the temporal things of this world but the eternal things of God!!!

The good news is that God has always had a “ram in the bush.” He has used hundreds of key people over these past 16 years who at critical times were in a position to step up and play a critical role in His work. It has been interesting to watch one month one of the Liveprayer family who could send a gift of anywhere between $5,000 and $50,000 at a critical time, be replaced by someone else the next month who would step up and “save the day.”

I am praying today for a few “day savers” to help me as we face our current financial challenges in funding and the Liveprayer TV program.

I know in my heart, like the Old Testament prophets knew in their hearts when God called them be faithful and serve Him no matter the personal costs. God has called me and this ministry to not only to save souls, but use this platform to lead our nation back to God and His Truth. The fact is, Liveprayer is not just at the crossroads, but a day of reckoning. We are on the verge of seeing 15 yrs of ministry used to turn the nation back to God and His Truth.

As a man of flesh and blood, I can empathize with other men of flesh and blood like Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, Paul, and so many others we read about in the pages of the Bible. You see, they all had a deep and abiding relationship with God. They knew when God was speaking to them. They all took great steps of faith to accomplish what God had called them to do.

16 yrs ago, God told me to start an internet site when few people even had the internet, to bring hope to the hurting, salvation to the lost, and God’s Truth to this dark world we live in. I didn’t even own a computer, the ministry had no money, yet BY FAITH, just like Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, and Paul, men of flesh and blood, I BELIEVED GOD AND TOOK MY WOK OF FAITH!

Here we are, in the first month of 2015, our year of VICTORY!. Tens of millions of lives worldwide have been impacted by Liveprayer over the past 16 years. Over 2.5 million souls worldwide are fed daily through the Daily Devotional. Every 24 hours we receive 40,000 emails for prayer and counsel. Most important, over 900,000 souls we know of will be in Heaven due to our efforts and faith, and your love, prayers, and sacrifce to help me!!

During these past 16 yrs, I have had many opportunities to slip into the “Christian trough” that consists of the Christian media, the churches, and the vast majority of ministries. It would have been easy to live in the applause, comfort, and profitability of that subculture. However, I did not give my life to Christ for applause, for comfort, to make money. I gave my life to Christ to give hope to the hopeless, salvation through faith in Jesus to the lost, and to help lead a nation in spiritual freefall back to God and His Truth.

TO GIVE A GIFT TO LIVEPRAYER, you can use your major credit card on our secure server at: under the “Donation” link, you can give using your PayPal account using my email address: , or you can mail your gift to: Liveprayer, 6660 46th Ave. North, St.Petersburg, FL 33709. All gifts to Liveprayer are 100% tax deductible.

I love you and care about you so much. Over the years, it has been millions of friends like you praying, thousands of friends like you making sacrifices, sometimes great sacrifices, to help Liveprayer accomplish all it has. Back in November of 2007, I told you in a Devotional that the world as we know it was going to change greatly in the coming year. God was no longer going to sit back and watch a nation slaughter 4,000 innocent babies every day, make a mockery of His holy institution of marriage, see every type of perverted sexual act promoted and glorified, have His plan for the family altered…while men worshipped and bowed down to every false god and idol they had created in their evil minds!

I could never ask you for a dime for myself, however if every kind of organization under the sun believes in what they are doing to ask people to support them, I certainly have no shame to ask for your help to pray for people, save souls, and help save this nation! The fact is, we do more with less than any non-profit, church or Christian minsitry I know of. That is because I don’t use your money for buildings, huge staffs, private jets, multi-million dollar salaries for me and family members, to buy 10 million dollar beachfront mansions, or new Bentleys. Listen, if you want to give for those things that is up to you.

I need everyone today to pray! Pray for God to move on hearts who are able to help me at this critical time. I also need you to forward this Devotional to everyone you know who loves the Lord and wants to see God put back on the throne of this nation and His Truth proclaimed across the land. Lastly, even if you have to dig our a quarter from the couch, I need everyone reading this make a sacrifce to help me.

The Bible teaches to give according to our ability to give. For some, it may be just a quarter you find in the couch. For others, it may be $1, or $5. Still others, especially those who are working can give $20, $50, $100. Still others who God has blessed can send a gift of $200, $500, $1,000, even $10,000, $20,000, $100,000, or $1 million. People give $1 million every day to causes they care about. Is the soul of a nation, the eternal souls of millions of people worth $1 million if you have the ability to send such a gift?????

I have been on the front lines taking the fire for 22 years now. I refuse to retreat to the safety and profitability of the “Christian trough” while this nation is destroyed by satan and his minions and souls needlessly end up in hell. I have but one life, and when it was over, I want to be able to stand before God and know that I gave everything I had for the Kingdom. I want to take my last breath knowing my life’s work is complete and I held nothing back in my service for the Lord.

I have only been able to fight this fight these past 2 decades because of dear friends like you. Now more than ever I need you to stand with me. Pray, give as you are able in accordance with what the Bible teaches, and take your stand with me. The time is short, the spiritual state of this nation hangs in the balance, the souls of hundreds of millions of people are at stake. It is time to act and lead this nation back to God and His Truth while leading the lost to faith in Jesus Christ!

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller

The Case for “Gay Marriage” Destroying the Foundation of Our Society

(Genesis 1:27, 2:24, 4:19; Deuteronomy 17:17; 1 Kings 11:3; 1 Timothy 3:2,12)

***ASK BILL: Pastor Bill, after a recent disagreement, I was told by my spouse that he could go anywhere he wants, whenever he wants, see whoever he wants, stay as long as he wants, and make any decisions he wants without consulting me. Don’t spouses owe each other that type of consideration and communication?

ANSWER: That is not a spouse, it is a dictator, and it is certainly NOT the way God designed marriage. A husband and wife are 100% equal, with different roles to play. Those who want to disregard the Bible point to passages about a wife being obedient. What they fail to mention, is that on the other side, the man is to love his wife as Christ loves the church. MARRIAGE IS A MUTUAL RELATIONSHIP OF LOVE, PATIENCE, UNDERSTANDING, NURTURING, BASED ON A SHARED FAITH IN CHRIST!

The case for “gay marriage” destroying the foundation of our society! As someone who for the past 22 years has given my life to helping tens of millions of people worldwide find hope and answer in the most challenging moments of life we all face along our journey, I can assure you that the perversion of God’s Holy Institution of Marriage not just damages the lives of the two people involved but society as a whole.

The classic question I get from the media and in debates with gay marriage advocates is, “How does two people of the same sex getting married hurt my marriage?” The simple answer is that it has zero affect on my personal marriage, but such a perversion of God’s plan for marriage does erode the foundation of our society which is marriage and the family.

The other comments I get are that Jesus never condemned gay marriage and what is wrong with two people who love each other and want to get married? First, Jesus did comment numerous times on marriage and it was clearly without any ambiguity between a man and woman. Secondly, how we “feel” is hardly a determining factor to justify behavior, since acting on many feelings leads to destructive results.

The problem is once you cross the line and redefine marriage as anything but one man and one woman, you can use all of the current arguments and justifications to advocate for marriage between multiple partners of any sex, with children, as well as with animals and inanimate objects. The fact is, just 30 years ago, gay marriage would have never even been a serious discussion, let alone a legal reality. To that end, many people claim society is “evolving,” while I claim that society is “de-evolving.”

You can look at our crumbling culture over the past several decades and link all of our societal woes like the increasing numbers of people living in poverty, out of wedlock births, record numbers of people incarcerated, the proliferation and mainstream acceptance of gambling and pornography, increasing numbers of people addicted to drugs and alcohol, record low scholastic test scores and graduation rates, the vast percentage of people in the last two generations who have never been to church or have any faith foundation, along with virtually anything else negative in our culture and link it to a breakdown of marriage and the family.

The fact is people are born with a certain skin color in which they had no choice. However, taking your clothes off and engaging in sex is a choice, just like taking a drink is a choice, just like using drugs is a choice, just like placing a bet, overeating, shopping to excess, are all choices. Harmful choices over time leads a person to become enslaved to those choices which become part of their life.

In 22 years of ministry I have helped men and women around the world find freedom from their bondage to alcohol, drugs, gambling, food, shopping, and numerous sexual addictions like homosexuality, which otherwise would have ended up destroying or greatly damaging their lives. God gave us free will and a person is free to make whatever choices they desire. However, you can not sin and avoid paying a price. That is why until a person chooses to change their behavior and seek avenues of help that includes Biblical help, they remain enslaved to whatever their bondage may be.

To argue gay marriage is a “civil right” is a specious argument and mocks true civil rights issues. Depriving a person of their fundamental human rights based on something like the color of their skin, has nothing to do with two people of the same sex who make the conscious choice to engage in perverted, unnatural, unhealthy sexual relations. The fact is less than 2% of those in our society choose to engage in homosexuality, yet it is that small minority of the population which is forcing society to re-define the spiritual and legal institution of marriage.

Over a decade ago I warned people this day of men legally marrying men and women legally marrying women was coming and was laughed at. Well, that day is now here and it is too late since the proverbial horse in out of the barn. This summer, the Supreme Court will legalize gay marriage in this nation. Just like their decision 42 years ago to legalize infanticide that has led to the slaughter of apx. 60 million innocent babies, perverting the institution of marriage will ultimately lead to the complete breakdown of our culture since marriage between one man and one woman provides the very foundation upon which our society is built.

The main reason this perversion of marriage is even a debate, let alone a reality, is due to a generation of gutless and compromised Christian pastors and leaders who have been responsible for the vast majority of today’s churches being influenced by a Godless culture, rather than boldly leading the culture in ways of righteousness as God’s Word instructs. The Bible is immutable, it does not change. Any “church” that accepts a sin like homosexuality and a perversion of God’s Holy Institution of Marriage is a stench in the nostrils of God. Any man or woman who calls themselves a “pastor” and either personally engages in or refuses to preach against the sin of homosexuality and gay marriage make a mockery of that office and of Christ

Especially disturbing are churches and denominations who are “debating” this issue. What is there to debate other than to follow God’s Word or not. To choose “not” makes that church no different than any other Godless institution of the world. To advocate for or embrace any other plan for marriage and the family requires a complete and total rejection of God’s plan as detailed in the Bible, which for Christians is God’s inspired, inerrant Word, representing Absolute Truth and our final authority in all matters.

It has been a privilege over the past two decades to serve the Lord by helping men and women around the world in bondage to the sin of homosexuality find freedom through Christ. You don’t help an alcoholic by supplying them with drugs, you don’t help a drug addict by supplying them with drugs, and don’t help a man or woman in bondage to homosexuality by supporting their sinful choice that will end up harming, even destroying their life. In leaving the woman taken in adultery, Jesus didn’t tell her to go back to her adulterous affair, but told her “to go and sin no more.”

Reaching millions of people worldwide daily through on my nightly “live” TV program airing around the nation only on non-Christian stations, and in appearances on FOX News, CNN, Howard Stern, the New York Times, and many other local, national, and international media outlets dealing with the issues of the day from a Biblical worldview, I already know most people will dismiss me as intolerant, a bigot, homophobe, hate monger, Bible thumper, Christian nutjob, and other pejoratives. My friend, I didn’t write the Bible, God did, and attacking me doesn’t change His Truth. It is God who all throughout the Old and New Testaments calls homosexuality a sin and the One who ordained marriage to be between one man and one woman.

To support gay marriage, you must reject thousands of years of successful societal history where God’s Holy Institution of Marriage has been between one man and one woman for life. You also must reject God’s Biblical plan for the family, which is having children born within the bonds of marriage, loved, nurture, and raised by a father and mother in the admonition of the Lord. To purposely and in a premeditated fashion change God’s Holy Institution of Marriage will end up destroying the very foundation upon which our society is built.

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller

The Fruit of the Work Liveprayer is Doing in the Lives of People Worldwide Every Day

(Psalm 128:1-2)

***ASK BILL: Pastor Bill, my brother has been going to church and has taken notice that some people pray to God others to The Lord and others to Jesus. In your opinion what verse can I take him to that would show him which one he should pray to. His daughter made him start going. I love her.

ANSWER: We pray to our heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name. We are told to address all prayer to God the Father (Matt 6:9, 1 Pet 1:17, Eph 3:14.b). We can only approach the Father in the name of Jesus, the Son (John 14:13 & 14). And PRAISE GOD for his daughter!!!

One of the special joys I look forward to 3-4 times each year, is taking the time to share with you some of the fruit of the work Liveprayer is doing in the lives of people worldwide each and every day. As part of the Liveprayer family, it is important that you see from time to time the transforming power of God at work in the lives of those we minister to. In the 185 months since Liveprayer started, we have seen over 900,000 people that we know of accept Christ as their Savior, and now have an archive of over 9 million praise reports. GLORY TO ALMIGHTY GOD!!!

My purpose in sharing some of these incredible praise reports with you today is two fold. First, so that you know your prayers and support of the work God is doing at Liveprayer is bearing much fruit. Second, God is no respecter of person and what God has done for someone else, God will do for you.

“I’ve been praying for a former student in my church Bible study class who had turned away from God and who had told me that she had never really accepted Christ in the first place. Well, after about a year of prayer and forwarding daily devotionals, she recently informed me that she has accepted Jesus as her LORD and Savior.”

“Yesterday morning I asked for prayer at this site (for the first time ever) for a precious saint, Sue, who was near death, stricken with MS in a long-term care center. (Which I thought it pretty amazing that Bill responded personally saying he would begin praying too.) So yesterday morning things did take a turn for the better. However, in the late afternoon she took another turn for the worse. I went home thinking, well, you know, the Lord is probably calling her Home. After all, she’s beginning to fill up with fluid. Then I called back around 7 o’clock p.m. and was told she was sitting up in bed drinking a Diet Coke! Oh glory! Thanks to all who have been praying for her. God is faithful to His Word and to the prayers of his intercessors! Bless you all!”

“Praise the Lord. He answers prayer! I now have another job. Thank you for praying.”

“I am sure you have no clue exactly who I am……..But I opened my moms email today, and your words are … can I say it? I was moved…..BEYOND words whoever you are, KNOW you touched a life I have HIV/AIDS……and everyday I am facing death, and I am scared…but today you made it better…thank you”

“I requested prayer for a very urgent, unexpected, IMPOSSIBLE need for somewhere for my daughters and I to live. We now have the greatest house that was provided by none other than J. Christ listed in the phonebook under property managers!!!”

“I just wanted to thank you for standing with me and my church family in prayer. I wrote you about a month ago because my husband had moved out. He has made a decision to work things out and move back in. Praise God! I know with out everyones prayer this may never have happened I am so Thankful to the Lord.”

“Bill, my name is Donna, I e-mailed you about a week ago about my bout with depression, and asked you to pray for me, I’ve had a lot of people praying for me and I wanted to thank you, and let you know that God has lifted that cloud of gloom and despair from me I praise His Holy name.”

“Your devotionals are certainly a blessing to me, particularly while I am serving here in Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Your prayers and those of others at home for our safety and success make all the difference in the world. I would like to say a resounding “thank you” for all you do for us and God’s people.”

“I want to thank you for prayers for my friend Christopher. He is the 13 year old boy who had surgery yesterday and everything went perfect as the doctor said.”

“Some time back, I wrote to you requesting prayer for my wife and my financial problems. I was waiting for a project to start and it was dragging along and starting my wife to worry. You wrote me back and told me to hang in with God and that you would be praying for us. Well, I just want you to know that the prayer worked and I will finally start the job next week. PRAISE THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!! and thank you so much for your help and reassurance. The Lord IS faithful, even when we are not.”

“About tonights show. You were talking about abortions. I was just thinking about getting one until I heard your show tonight. And it changed my mind.”

“Thank you for sending out your daily devotional. I have read and believe the prayer you have on the web site and would like to receive the information to assist me in my new life with Christ.”

“You often ask your callers “where do you go to church?” I would have to tell you that I am in church with you everynite. Miracles are happening everynite on your show. People are saved. Broken lives are caught before they parish. And people are moved by the spirit.”

“Your nightly liveTv program and daily devotionals, have truly saved me from giving up hope…….giving up on myself. I have created such almost unbearable problems in my life, yet, your message of God’s promise and love for mankind….helps me go on …second to second. Thank you.”

“Just wanted to let you know my daughters test results were negative. Thank you for the prayers and encouragement. After your e-mail I had a peace come over me and knew she was fine.”

“I just wanted to thank you and God for your blessing. I just got back from the court house and to make a long story short they released Jeffrey! He is going to be able to see the baby being born!! He ended up with 6mnths of house arrest and he has to finish his probation. I can’t thank God enough for what he has done.”

“I prayed the prayer. I just want to thank you for writing every devotional. They are so inspirational and teach me so much! I went to the website and prayed the prayer. I want to be a better person and I Pray that I have help and guidance by Christ. I pray that I can be strong and not give into temptation. It is hard as a young teenager, but I just pray that the Lord is with me.”

I love you and care about you so much. GOD IS SOOOOO GOOD!!! PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME FOR HIS LOVE AND MERCY!!! Thank you for being part of the Liveprayer family and the miracles God is doing in people’s lives every day. Death is the Great Equalizer

(Hebrews 9:27)

***ASK BILL: Pastor Bill, this is troubling to me. Please explain what is meant by, “the road to heaven is narrow and few will find the way.”

ANSWER: Sadly, despite the Gospel being available to all, most will choose to reject it. The biggest reason I see daily is because people don’t want to be held accountable. The “narrow road” doesn’t only pertain to Jesus being the ONLY way to be saved, but the Bible being the ONLY truth. Sadly, most choose to reject that Truth.

Last Friday, Saudi Arabian King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud died at age 90. King Abdullah ascended to the throne in August of 2005 upon the death of his half-brother, King Faud. Like Faud, he was one of the many sons of Ibn Saud, the founder of modern Saudi Arabia. Despite the privilege this man was born into, despite the incredible wealth he controlled, despite his power as a leader of one of the top oil producing nations on the planet, the second his heart stopped beating, King Abdullah was no longer a king, his great wealth became meaningless, his earthly power no longer existed, he was simply a man standing before the God of the Bible, His Creator.

My friend, this is the moment every person will eventually face. At that moment when this life is over and we are standing before God, there is only ONE thing that matters, DO YOU KNOW JESUS BY FAITH? It was God’s plan to send Jesus to die for your sins, since it is your sins that separate you from a Holy God. That is why ONLY faith in Jesus Christ will save you and allow you to spend eternity with the God who created you and loves you so much.

Sadly for King Abdullah, he had put his faith in Mohammed and not Jesus. You see, Mohammed was simply a man who lived and died like you and I. He was born with the same sin that you and I are born with. That is why faith in Mohammed cannot save you. It was JESUS who God sent to this earth in a supernatural way to escape the sin we inherited from Adam. It was Jesus who lived a sinless life so that He could go to a cross 2,000 years ago and give His life as a one-time perfect sacrifice for the sins of all mankind. On the third day, God raised Him from the dead and He is ALIVE TODAY!!!

My friend, death is the great equalizer. I have no doubt that the second King Abdullah passed from this life into eternity, there was a man in some part of this world, a follower of Jesus Christ who also died. However, this man was NOT born into royalty as King Abdullah was. This man had NO wealth in his lifetime. This man had now earthly power. This man was UNKNOWN to the world. Yet the moment this man died, what he didn’t have in this life didn’t matter any longer.

You see, he too was simply a man standing before God his Creator just like King Abdullah. That is why the poor man who died at the same time as King Abdullah, the man with nothing, but the man who knew Jesus Christ as his Savior, is forever with God while King Abdullah will spend all eternity in Hell for his rejection of Christ. King Abdullah chose to live for the few years he had on earth rejecting Christ and God’s plan for everlasting life. Despite his great wealth and power during his few years on earth, he will now spend all eternity apart from God his creator.

I love you and care about you so much. While you may not have been born into a royal family, and may not have the great power and wealth King Abdullah enjoyed, the fact is that YOU TOO can get caught up in living for the temporal pleasures of this life and miss eternity. YOU TOO can get caught up with having “things” and not having Jesus. I pray today that you will take a moment and ask yourself if you were to die in the next minute, will you spend eternity with God, your Creator?

Sadly, it is too late for King Abdullah. All of the incredible advantages and benefits that he had in this brief life DID not help him when it came to the most important question we will each have to answer . . . DO YOU HAVE A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS BY FAITH??? Today, YOU can settle that issue once and for all and never doubt again where YOUR eternity will be spent!!!

Personal Commentary: In all of these years of Liveprayer, I stay away from speculation and FAR AWAY from conspiracy theories. So this is as labeled, strictly a personal commentary. While like many I have doubts where the President was actually born, since there is no legitimate reason to spend the incredible amount of money that has been spent to keep seal such a basic piece of information. More troubling for me however has always been WHO really paid for President Obama to go to Occidental, Columbia, and Harvard? Why have ALL RECORDS of his application to attend, how his education was paid, his grades, not to mention his writings as the first black president of the prestigious Harvard Law Review been sealed and kept private at incredible expense? My personal gut is that President Obama’s education was paid for by the Saudi royal family and that he has been a puppet for the Saudi’s, which means for Islam. I HAVE NO PROOF AND REITERATE THIS IS SIMPLY MY PERSONAL EDUCATED OPINION. I prayed and hesitated for hours before including this commentary. I was actually going to omit it since it doesn’t add anything to the powerful Gospel message that makes up the Daily Devotional today. However, I just read that NBC News broke a story that King Abdullah really hated President Obama despite the obvious admiration Obama had for the Saudi King. What better “news” organization than the Obama controlled NBC to put out such a story, and it only reinforced my personal belief for whatever it ultimately may mean.

Your Sacrifices Today Equals an Eternal Legacy

(Colossian 3:23,24)

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” Colossians 3:23,24

Your sacrifices today equals an eternal legacy through changes lives and saved souls, PLUS eternal rewards that are being stored up in Heaven! In looking back on the year 2014, I am grateful for everyone who took the time to pray for Liveprayer, and those dear friends led and able to help us financially. This allowed us to bring God’s Truth into the marketplace, impact lives for Christ, pray for people with every type of need imaginable, and see lost souls won to faith in Jesus Christ! I also take very seriously the pastoral and prophetic role I play in so many lives each day.

During the past year for the glory of God, we sent out the Daily Devotional, now in our 16th year, all 365 days to a little over 2.5 million subscribers worldwide. Our dedicated team of a little over 700 retired pastors enabled us to pray for and respond to just under 15 million emails for prayer (bringing that total to well over 100 million since Liveprayer began in August of 1999), which generated a little over 1.3 million Praise Reports (that total of archived Praise Reports is now over 9 million), and most important, saw apx. 100,000 people we know of come to faith in Jesus Christ through Liveprayer during the past year. That puts us on pace to pass 1 million souls we know of coming to faith in Jesus since Liveprayer began at some time during this year of victory…2015!!!

The best demographic breakdown we have been able to determine is out of the 2.5 million Daily Devotional subscribers, 80% are in the United States and 20% are in other countries. 70% of the subscribers are Christians while 30% are not. 10% are 18 years and younger, 20% are between the ages of 19-30, 30% are between the ages of 30-50, and 40% are 50 years and over. The TV audience averages apx. 200,000 viewers each night. 20% of our viewer are 30 years and younger, 40% are between the ages of 30-50, and 40% are 50 years and over.

Financially, Liveprayer received right at $800,000 in donations during 2014, which averages just under $67,000 a month. Please review the previous paragraphs regarding all we were able to accomplish this past year. Available 24/7/365, we reached all of these people worldwide, provided all of the personal ministry, saw the incredible fruit for those efforts that undoubtedly was only a fraction of how God used our work, and provided all of the incredible content we produce daily as all as 16 years of accumulated content at…for FREE! We sold no books or merchandise, had no advertising revenues, just simply walked by faith and trusted the Lord to move on the hearts of those we minister to to help us. For reference, Liveprayer has the same budget of a local church with 1,000 members or even less!

My friend, 2014 was a similar story to each previous year since Liveprayer began in August of 1999. Like all of the years prior, it has been a true modern day “fishes and loaves” miracle. Now you may feel a bit foolish, but do me a favor and stop reading for a moment, stand up, and give the Lord a big applause and shout AMEN!!! To further prove the “fishes and loaves” analogy is accurate, that $800,000 came from just 480 people out of the millions we reached last year. Just 20 of those people were responsible for 25% of our total donations. This only further proves how critical every sacrifce people make is no matter what the amount, and the importance of “giving according to your ability to give” as the Bible teaches.

>From day one of Liveprayer, I have personally taken time out of my day to pray over the daily accounting reports of our gifts for that day, since I fully understand the great sacrifce so many of our friends make that enables me on your behalf to do the Lord’s work. In that crowd of 5,000, no doubt many of them had food, yet only one young man was willing to sacrifce what he had so the Lord could feed the multitudes. Nothing has changed and it is still the few God uses to feed the many!!!

A little over 93 cents of every dollar you sacrifice to Liveprayer goes to the work, with less than 7 cents eaten up in necessary overhead expenses. Of course, this is only possible because unlike most ministries, churches, and other non-profit organizations, I don’t ask you to make the sacrifice you do to build buildings that than have to be maintained. Liveprayer still operates out of the back few offices of the same used car lot in St. Petersburg owned by one of our board memebers that we began in back in 1999! I personally feel those buildings people give money to build really should be owned by those who gave the money and not become the asset of some denomination or ministry/individual! For instance, why does TBN own over 1 BILLION dollars of real estate when it rightfully should belong to the people who paid for it!

I also would never ask you to make the sacrifce you do so the “ministry” can have a huge staff that needs to be paid every Friday, buy private planes, luxury cars, multi-million dollar homes, or pay me an exorbitant salary. Actually, due to the economic downturn in 2008, I have sacrificed my personal salary (between $35k and $40k) for 5 years now, taking only what I have needed to live each month. God has faithfully met my needs of food, clothing, and shelter exactly as He promised to do, and after 22 years of ministry I have a home like millions of others that is underwater, worth only $250,000 with a $300,000 mortgage, a 7 year old car, and some clothes. I don’t have a retirement account even though I will be 57 in a few weeks, own any real estate, or hold any stocks and bonds. I simply trust God to meet my needs each month as I do the needs of Liveprayer, since the Bible correctly tells us we came into this world with nothing and we will leave it with nothing. But that is fine since God’s promise is true when it assures us that He “supplies all of my needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus!”

I fully understand that I am only able to fulfill the work God has called me to because of your prayers and those who make the sacrifice, often a great one, to help me insure the financial needs of Liveprayer are met. After 22 years of ministry, 16 years on the front lines through and the last 12 years that included the Liveprayer TV program, satan know I will use every ounce of energy, brainpower, and whatever gifts and talents God blesses me with to serve Him. He knows I can’t be bought, won’t compromise God’s Truth no matter the personal consequences, and have been a faithful watchman as God describes in Ezekiel 33 whose hands have no blood on them! The only way satan has been able to slow me down in any way, is by restricting the funds coming into Liveprayer. That is why I am totally dependant upon your prayers and generous sacrifices each day. Satan is a defeated foe and every gift you send to Liveprayer is a confirmation of that fact.

I love you and care about you more than you will ever know. Let me leave you with 2 personal prayer requests. The first is I am asking the Lord for 5 people who I can call on during a critical financial emergency that occurs several times throughout each year. Many years ago prior to the financial meltdown in early 2008, I had around 30 people who I could call on during such a time, who if able, would help immediately with a gift of anywhere from $2,000-$20,000.

Sadly through the homegoing of many in that group and the financial hardships many have faced in their businesses over the last 5 years, that group is down to just a precious few. I treasure such friends of Liveprayer and have never or ever would abuse such a special relationship. That is why when I did reach out to them for help, if they were able, they immediately responded. Today I am simply asking the Lord for 5 people who if able, would be willing to help me at a critical time with a special gift of $2,000- $5,000. *If God is calling you to be one of these 5 people, please email me ( and let me know.

I am also praying today for 10 people who will commit to help Liveprayer with a monthly gift of $1,000 each month during this year of victory 2015, and 2 who will commit to help each month this year with a gift of $5,000. Please stand with me in prayer for the Lord to move on the hearts of 12 of our friends who He has blessed to be able to make such a commitment that will help, along with the generous sacrificial gifts of so many others each month, to insure our monthly operations are always current. If God is calling you to be one of these 12, please email me ( and let me know.

2015 is a year of VICTORY! As our verse for the year, 1 Corinthians 15:57 tells us, “Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!” As we stand and work together, may God richly bless our efforts for His Kingdom in bringing His Truth to the marketplace, praying for the needs of the hurting, leading lost souls to faith in Jesus Christ, and guiding this nation back to God and His Truth!!!

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller

Islam is Growing Around the World – Part Two of Two

(John 14:6)

***ASK BILL: Pastor Bill, When I’m in church listening to a sermon, or listening to someone witness about what God has done in there life or even listening to church music, I get so overwhelmed and tear up. Sometimes I cry. Do you have any idea what this means?

ANSWER: It is very common. We get so busy just living life, during those times when we are doing nothing but focusing on our faith, on what our salvation means, what Jesus did for us and how much He loves us, it is hard NOT to get emotional. The fact is, we can’t even begin to fathom it all!

Part Two of Two

Yesterday in part one, I made the clear case how Islam is growing around the world and has a very clear and stated goal of taking over every nation on the planet. We are actually watching this unfold before our very eyes. I also shared how most people in the United States are sleeping on this issue, and without even knowing it you now have Muslim groups operating in all 50 states.

Like in European nations, they have infiltrated every aspect of our society from the business community, the military, media, politics, to the education system. You name it and there is now an Islamic presence. They are well financed and become more organized and emboldened each day.

So that begs the question, how should Christians in the United States and around the world respond to the ever growing threat of Islam?

First, let me share with you what a Christian should NOT do. Theologically, Christians and Muslims have NO common ground. I get sick every time I hear of Christian churches and groups getting involved with Imams, mosques, and different Muslim groups. It is that ecumenical lie from hell. On the surface it sounds great. Let’s all hold hands and sing kumbaya. The problem is IT DOESN’T WORK! Again, I get the concept of getting along with people of other faiths, but here is why it never works.

In these ecumenical situations, in these feel good alliances between Muslims and Christians, it is always the Christian who has to lay aside the absolutes of the Bible…NOT THE MUSLIM THEIR BELIEFS! They pray to their mythical god “allah,” and talk of their murdering, pedophile prophet Mohammad without hesitation. Christians become afraid to even pray in the name of Jesus, yet alone have the courage to share the true Gospel, for fear of “offending” someone.

The reality is, Muslims love to get involved in these relationships with Christian churches and groups. Most Christians have big hearts and are easy prey for those who follow Islam. The Christian has a real desire to be friends with Muslims and thinks that they will be able to convert them to Christianity simply by being kind to them, when the Muslim is simply using the relationship for credibility and to further the lie they are simply peaceful people who want to get along with everyone. Trust me my friend, when “jihad,” holy war comes, your nice, “peaceful” Muslim friend will not hesitate to cut your head off!

So what is a Christian’s proper response to Islam? THE LIGHT OF THE WORD OF GOD AND THE POWER OF THE GOSPEL!!!

How do you fight the lie? With the Truth. How do you overcome evil? With love. We don’t take up arms to fight the spread of Islam. That is how they have propagated their false religion around the world for 1400 years. We take up the sword, the Bible! Christianity has its roots in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve. The false relgion of Islam was founded just 1400 yrs ago by a mere man who was visited in his sleep by angels of satan.

The God of the Bible and “allah” of Islam ARE NOT THE SAME! If you study the attributes of the God of the Bible and “allah,” you will quickly see they are NOT the same person. Muslims speak of Abraham, due to the poor plagiarism of parts of the Bible Mohammad used when he wrote his book of fantasies called the Qu’ran. Abraham, through his illegitimate son Ishmael, was the father of Arab race and had NOTHING to do with Islam since this false relgion wasn’t even created until 2600 years after Abraham lived!

People who claim there are 3 religions from Abraham are WRONG! Only Judaism and Christianity have a connection to Abraham, NOT ISLAM! While many of the Arab race have become Muslims in the past 1400 years, there is no direct connection between Abraham and the false religion of Islam. Abraham’s illegitimate son Ishmael was NOT a Muslim!

Of course Islam recognizes Jesus as a “prophet.” Like all cults and false religions they deny Christ’s deity. If Jesus was not God incarnate than the best He could have done was die for His own sins, not the sins of all mankind meaning there is no such thing as salvation through faith in Jesus Christ!

I love you and care about you so much. Christians in the United States and across the world must fight the growing threat of Islam with the Truth of the Bible and the power of the Gospel! We can’t fight Islam through these ecumenical projects. We can’t fight Islam with physical force. We fight Islam with God’s Word and His plan of salvation available to all men through faith in Jesus Christ!

While Islam is growing by the day all over the world, one of the reasons for the spread of Islam is those who have bought into the lies of this false religion are bold, fearless, and tireless in “evangelizing.” How sad is it that those who believe the lies of satan are more aggressive in telling others those lies, than those who have the only Truth there is. If the servants of satan are so bold with their lies, how much more bold should the servants of Jesus Christ be with the Truth???

My friend, we fight the growing threat of Islam by changing hearts and seeing souls won for Christ. I realize at some point when the last chapter of human history is unfolding, there will be a great war fought on the planes of Megiddo between those who follow the false god “allah,” and those who follow the God of the Bible. However, for this season, we fight this war with Islam by boldly proclaiming the hope we and all men have through faith in Jesus Christ.

The Gospel is our only weapon, our only hope, and our only answer in defeating Islam!

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller
