“All who were willing, men and women alike, came and brought gold jewelry of all kinds: brooches, earrings, rings and ornaments. They all presented their gold as a wave offering to the LORD.”

Gold for souls! Ever since Liveprayer began in 1999, I sensed that God was going to use this ministry to not only bring hope to the hurting, salvation through faith in Christ to the lost, but help lead this nation back to God and Biblical Truth before He unleashed His judgment and wrath on the United States. I have been preaching for nearly 20 years that we are on borrowed time. We have forsaken the God of the Bible and bow down and worship every false god and idol man has invented, we legally slaughter 4,000 innocent babies every 24 hours, we have made a mockery of God’s Holy institution of marriage, we have perverted his gift of sex so that today pornography, homosexuality, and every other kind of perverted sex is accepted in our society, we have turned the sin of gambling into entertainment, morals and ethics barely exist, all forms of media are used to brainwash people 24/7 with the lies of satan, and God’s people have retreated into the comfort, safety, and prosperity of the Christian subculture we have created for ourselves while souls die and go to hell daily because we don’t have the guts to fight satan for them!

God did not forsake His judgment and wrath on his chosen people, why are we so arrogant to think He will not unleash His judgment and wrath on us???

“But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God- having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.” Does this sound familiar? It comes from 2 Timothy 3:1-5. If this doesn’t describe today, I don’t know a better passage in God’s Word that does!

Back in 2007, I told you that the Lord had showed me 2008 would be a year when things would take a dramatic change in this nation. In February of 2008, I did a Devotional on how God would use the economy to bring this nation to its knees. Well, September of 2008 is when the economic collapse that has yet to subside began in earnest, and in November we elected a true enemy of God as the leader of our nation. I have well documented that President Obama opposes God on every spiritual issue there is. He is the most pro-death President ever, he supports and promotes the radical homosexual agenda, and he sides with the enemies of Israel. I have no doubt God allowed Barak Obama to rise to power as a further sign of His judgment on this nation! Let me say that again so you understand whey he was elected. In July of 2007, just prior to the beginning of the economic collapse and election of President Obama, the Lord gave me the vision for the Jonah Project. We currently have tens of thousands sign up to be part of the Jonah Project waiting for a call to action, but we have never had the key component I clearly outlined when I launched this project, and that was the media component. Oprah, O’Reilly, Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, all have influence over millions of peoples minds each week due to their media presence. Sadly major Christian ministries who take in tens, even hundreds of millions annually, have forsaken our culture for the comfort and wealth of preaching to the choir in the Christian media world as opposed to taking the hope of Christ to the people who need it the most through the secular media.

Having been on major secular network affiliates “live” for an hour 5 nights a week for 5 yrs from March of 2003 through August 2007, reaching millions more nightly thru our nightly internet broadcast from January 2008 thru July 2009, along with my many appearance on FOX News, CNN, MSNBC, and hundreds of other local and national TV and radio programs over the years, I can tell you that the people are hungry for TRUTH and looking for Godly direction in their lives. The better percentage of 2 full generations have never been to church, there is a spritual void in this nation being filled by the cults, false religions, and New Age movements because the church is too gutless to battle satan for these souls. It is time for God’s people to take this nation back for God and bring Biblcial Truth back into the mainstream culture!

The Jonah Project has never been able to put in place the critical media component due to the economic collapse that has affected tens of millions, many high income people that can no longer make large donations since they are simply trying to survive these difficult times. This has been so frustrating to me since I have the plan, a plan from God and based on the reality of our work these past 10 years on the Internet and in the media. Launching this will only take $12 million dollars, which sounds like an incredible amount of money, but in the scheme of our economic system is really very little. I have been praying for the Lord to show me how we can raise this money to put into full effect the Jonah Project and make a bold stand for Christ and the Bible in the secular media. Patience is not a virtue I possess much of, but finally God has told me how to do it.

Last year, a company called Cash4Gold took in well over $100 million dollars by getting people to send them their old gold and jewelry. In return, they were given a check for what amounts to about 10 cents on the dollar of the worth of what people send in. In these desperate financial times, they have had no problem finding people willing to send them their old, broken, unused gold, even though they knew they are only getting a fraction of what it is worth. Business at pawn shops around the nation is booming. Again, people are parting with their valuables, even though they are getting a fraction of their worth.

One afternoon, God began to speak to me. I went to the Bible and was reading that when Moses built the Tabernacle, David the Temple, the people brought what they could donate. In many cases it was gold and other precious gems. Often, the people took their tithe to the temple in the form of gold. Gold is the most mentioned precious metal in the Bible. I realize that many people who want to simply don’t have the cash to donate to God’s work here at Liveprayer. However, most everyone has some old gold, broken jewelry, other valuables that they can give. I have to admit, after nearly 20 years on the front lines, I am weary. This is the final act God has called for me to perform. I want to see this nation turn back to God and His Truth and get out of the public spotlight. I want to simply live a quiet and peaceful life with whatever few years I have left. However, I can’t rest until this last job is competed. God has given me the plan to do it through the Jonah Project, the way to fund it through Gold for Souls, and now I need you and everyone you can reach to help me.

Churches raise millions for buildings to preach to hundreds who are already Christians. We have abandoned the culture and left the eternal souls of men to the wolves of the world!!! In the process, our nation is in spiritual freefall and on the verge of God’s judgment and wrath!!!

Our only hope is not going to be found in a political ideology, but by turning back to the God of the Bible and HIS Truth. May Almighty God find each one of us faithful for doing our part to make that happen! He has given us the plan in the Jonah Project. He has given us the way to fund it through the gold and jewelry Christians have accumulated over the years that lays in a box. It is time for action!!!
