DAILY DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY JANUARY 6, 2023

(James 4:14)

***RETURNED MAIL/DAILY DEVOTIONAL BLOCKS! For some reason our Post Office sent back to sender some of our mail during the Christmas week when a sub was in for our regular carrier. If you sent a donation to Liveprayer during that time, keep an eye out for it and please just re-send it. Thank you! Also, some Yahoo and AOL people may have missed the last Daily Devotional. They were blocking our emails the other night but our techs seem to have gotten it taken care of. Don’t forget the Daily Devotional is always on the Liveprayer.com homepage. Blessings!

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, please speak to me and guide me. I want to serve You, to be where You want me to be, doing what You want me to be doing, and allowing You to use my life to impact others for Your Glory! I yield myself afresh to You this day. My life is Yours! In the name of Jesus I pray…AMEN! *Sa! lvation

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: I saw something Monday night that made my soul sing, and that was people at a moment in crisis praying. Not just some people, but 2 full NFL teams along with a stadium of 60,000 fans. Half way thru the first period of the Monday Night Football game matching two of the top teams in the AFC, the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals, Buffalo Bill defensive back Demar Hamlin went to tackle Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins and in the process of tackling Higgins, took a hard hit to his chest. Hamlin popped right up, stood still for a moment, and suddenly collapsed. The Bills medical team ran onto the field and over the next 10 minutes probably saved the young man’s life. He was in full cardiac arrest, and they quickly used a defibrillator to re-start his heart. They continued to work on him as an ambulance drove onto the field and Hamlin was quickly put i! nto the
ambulance and taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he has been in critical condition in the ICU in a medically induced coma the last 3 days. Thursday afternoon the hospital gave an update on Hamlin’s condition and while he is still in the ICU and on a breathing tube, his doctors are positive about his progress and hopeful he will at least be off the breathing tube and fully awake in the coming days. So far, there has been no report by Hamlin’s doctors what caused his heart to stop beating. It was interesting on Monday night after the incident, the sports media on TV, radio, and online all began throwing out that Hamlin suffered from commotio cordis, a very rare condition where a person is struck in the chest cavity at a precise moment causing the heart to stop beating. The few times this has occured has been when a person was hit in the chest cavity by a baseball, or a soccer ball. It has never been from a hit in a football game. Those who dared to ! even question
if it could be due to the COVID vax were quickly silenced. The fact is, we have reports from all over the world of professional athletes in all kinds of sports who were vaxxed, literally dropping dead due to heart issues. We know for a FACT that a problem with the vax and booster is pericarditis, or an inflammation of the heart. THIS HAS MOSTLY BEEN FOUND IN HEALTHY YOUNG MALES! We will know the cause at some point, but since the NFL forced all of their players to be vaxxed and boosted, they should be doing a heart exam on EVERY SINGLE PLAYER TODAY! As the scene on the field unfolded with the medical professionals frantically working on Hamlin, the players immediately knew this was not just another injury. Some saw him being hit with the paddles to re-start his heart, others began crying, holding each other. ALMOST IMMEDIATELY THESE HUGE, MASSIVE MODERN DAY GLADIATORS BEGAN TO PRAY. PRAYING ALONE, WITH OTHERS, IN HUGE HUDDLES OF PLAYERS ON THEIR KNEES PRAYING! Shots of the c! rowd
showed people in the stands praying. IN THAT MOMENT OF HELPLESSNESS, COACHES, TEAM PERSONEL, PLAYERS, AND FANS ALL BEGAN TO PRAY!!! THEIR FIRST INSTINCT WAS TO PRAY!!! The next day on Disney owned ESPN, former NFL quarterback and ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky was in the middle of talking with his 2 co-hosts about the incident when Orlovsky stopped mid-sentence and said that they needed to pray. It was a bit clumsy meaning it was not rehearsed but from his heart, as he prayed for Hamlin’s healing and his family. At the end both of his co-hosts agreed by saying, Amen! BEAUTIFUL! Best 30 seconds on ESPN in the last 2 decades! The fact was, prayer became a core focus of the whole Hamlin story across all of the media platforms. As it turns out, Hamlin is a true follower of Jesus Christ, thru his actions in life and not just his words. His family are Christians. We of course here at Liveprayer are believing God for a complete and total healing and for this young man to be back on th! e football
field at some point in the future. What a great testimony to answered prayer that will be! It was exciting and encouraging to see people when faced with something so much bigger than themselves, something that money and the powerful NFL couldn’t choreograph or fix, turn to God Almighty. I saw in those few minutes that night the vision of a broken and hurting nation with the greatest armed forces man has ever known, riches no other nation in human history could match, with hundreds of millions of people lost and hurting on their knees praying, turning to their only true hope in their time of need, Almighty God our Creator! AMEN!!! AMEN!!! AMEN!!!

One of the biggest problems we have in this life is taking each day for granted and assuming there is always going to be a tomorrow. This ! is a very
common mindset for those under 30. The brevity of this life, the fact that tomorrow is not promised to any of us never seems to be an issue most people think about. Every day when I read the paper and watch the news there are stories of people dying in all kinds of ways. I can’t help but think if they were ready to die?

The answer of course is few people are really ready to die. But that doesn’t change the fact that we all one day pass from this life into eternity. Therein lies the real question. Are you ready for eternity?

The Bible clearly teaches that eternity is going to be spent either with God our creator or forever separated from Him. Only through a personal faith in Jesus Christ will you be with God. I would urge you right now, if you have never accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior by faith, please go to: https://www.liveprayer.com/salvation.cfm

For those who have accepted Jesus by faith and know that when this life is over you will ! be in
Heaven for all eternity, I go back to the point of today’s Devotional which is how even Believers forget about the importance of today and live like there will always be a tomorrow. For the sake of helping you focus, let’s say that you actually knew that you would die in 24 hours. Take a minute and think about what you would do with that last 24 hours here on earth.

Common sense says that you would probably spend that time with those who God has given you to share this life with. Family, of course, possibly some close friends. But in addition to that, what would you do? I imagine that you would probably try to take care of loose ends in regard to your will, your finances. Additionally though, what would you do with that time?

No doubt there are people who you may have had problems with, possibly even family members and your relationship with them has been broken. I am sure you would get hold of them and try to reconcile with them. There are probably people in y! our life
that at one time or another you hurt in some way. Contacting them to just say how sorry you were is no doubt something you would want to accomplish. I am sure there are many other things that you can think of that you would want to do in those last precious hours.

For those of you who have been reading my Daily Devotionals for a while, you know me well enough by now to know that I am not into fear and intimidation. That is not my objective today. I pray every day one specific prayer. That in this precious time God allows me to share with you, He will help me on this spiritual journey we are on together to translate that walk with the Lord into the very real day-to-day life we live for a season here on earth.

Making our relationship with the Lord a reality in our daily life is one of my main objectives. The reality of daily life is that accidents happen. Tragedy strikes. Disease is part of our human condition. TOMORROW IS NOT PROMISED TO ANY OF US!

While we! are to
plan for the future and set goals, we can never lose sight that we are here to serve and glorify God with our lives. When our work here is finished, and only God knows when that is, He will call us home. We are like missionaries in this world, here to do a job and we never really know when our job is over and we get to go home.

If we understand that, we will start being more aware of how important it is to maintain our relationships with other people, not to hurt others and when we do, be quick to apologize, while loving those God has given us to share this life with each and every day. If you hear nothing else today, hear this. Spend today getting hold of your parents, children, siblings, friends you are close to, and simply tell them how special they are and how you are thankful each day to have them in your life.

NOW, TODAY is always the perfect time to tell someone you love how much they mean to your life each day!

I love you and deeply care about you! . I pray
that today you will take a few minutes from your busy life to focus on the fact that we live each day by the grace of God. It is truly a gift from above. Not only should that motivate us in our service to Him, but in our relationships with those God gives us to spend this time on earth with.

In accordance with that message, let me tell each of you how richly my life has been blessed these last 23+ years of Liveprayer. Sitting down each morning, asking for God’s anointing and allowing the Holy Spirit to guide my fingers as I write these Daily Devotionals has been one of the greatest joys of my life. To be able to share the love of Christ, encourage you in your daily relationship with Him, and be here to pray for you in your time of need has been the greatest privilege God has given me in my 30 years of ministry.

You will never know how much I really do love you and care about you. Even though we have never met, that love is possible because of Jesus. There is a ! spiritual
bond that connects us tighter than anything this world could ever produce. I just want you to know it is an honor to do the little I can each day to help you in your spiritual journey. Know that as long as the Lord keeps me around I will be here for you, so never hesitate to email me and I will do my best to stand with you and help you as your follow the Lord.

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller
