DAILY DEVOTIONAL MONDAY DECEMBER 5, 2022

(Luke 2:6-7)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Lord, Thank You for meeting my daily needs as You have promised in Your Word. I look to You and You alone for my sustenance through life, and Thank You for Your faithfulness. Please help me to be a good steward of the funds You entrust into my care during this life, and give me favor in my finances, and wisdom in my decisions. In the name of Jesus I pray…AMEN!

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: Why what is happening to the 1/6 prisoners for political reasons matters to Christians and YOU NEED TO BE PAYING ATTENTION!! Even since 1/6 I was on the record stating that people who violated the law during the uprising at the Capitol should be prosecuted. That opinion has never changed. However, some many months later it is CRITICAL for Christians to pay attention to what is being done to those who have been charged with a crime on 1/6. WHAT THEY ! ARE DOING
TO THESE PEOPLE TODAY FOR POLITICS IS WHAT THEY WILL BE DOING TO CHRISTIANS TOMORROW FOR SIMPLY PRACTICING OUR FAITH! Let me say that again and I want you to really understand what I am saying! WHAT THEY ARE DOING TO THESE PEOPLE TODAY FOR POLITICS IS WHAT THEY WILL BE DOING TO CHRISTIANS TOMORROW FOR SIMPLY PRACTICING OUR FAITH! Despite they hyperbolic rhetoric, there was NO insurrection taking place on 1/6. By the FBI’s own admission there was no pre-planned attack on the Capitol, instead they described the event as a one-off. The DOJ just released a memo that said there is zero evidence Donald Trump incited his supporters to attack the Capitol on 1/6. Yet amazingly, the media, the bogus 1/6 Commission, and the same DOJ in their prosecutions continue to promote this LIE there was an insurrection at the Capitol on 1/6! There was no attack on our Democracy as the media breathlessly tells people every day! As a matter of fact as more is learned every day about the events of 1! /6 it is
becoming obvious to anyone paying attention the FBI had a HUGE ROLE in those events! It is looking more and more likely they instigated whatever violence took place. Also, the only 2 people who died on 1/6 were 2 Trump supporters killed by the Capitol Police. Ashli Babbitt, an unarmed AF vet was literally executed in cold blood by Lt. Michael Leroy Byrd of the Capitol Hill police who was immediately cleared of the killing by…THE CAPITOL HILL POLICE! The other as Roseanne Boyland who video seen by defense attorneys showed she was brutally beaten by Capitol Hill police, than was shoved down the steps of the Capitol by the police pushing back a throng of people where she was literally trampled to death. IN BOTH CASES THE FAMILIES CAN’T GET THE AUTOPSY REPORTS! The Babbitt family is suing the government and I pray the Boyland family follows suit!

Here is the bottom line to what happened on 1/6. There was a “Stop the Steal” rally on the Ellipse off the White House gr! ounds that
went on most of the morning and was capped by President Trump’s speech that began at Noon, an hour late, and ended around 1:10pm. The estimated crowd was anywhere from 200,000 to 600,000 people! Some 2 months after the November Presidential election, there was already clear evidence that cheating took place in the key swing states of Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Arizona. All of the investigations over the last 11 months have only proven there was major cheating that took place. Start with the fact in those 5 key states election laws were illegally changed outside of the state legislatures who have that legal responsibility. That alone calls the results in those states question. Add to the illegal changing of the election laws to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg pumping $400 MILLION dollars into election non-profits in the major Democratic controlled cities of those 5 swing states. That money was used to illegally harvest ballots and put unmanned ballot drop bo! xes all
over key Democratic cities. Additionally, we find out another $400MILLION of dark money was pumped in to facilitate the steal by Global elites like George Soros. So anyone with an open mind and a working brain knew without a doubt Joe Biden, who campaigned from his basement and couldn’t fill 8 circles at the few “campaign events” he did hold minutes from his Delaware home, didn’t have 81 million people vote for him. DONALD TRUMP RECEIVED 62 MILLION VOTES IN 2016 AND ADDED 11 MILLION TO THAT TOTAL IN 2020. Set the cheating aside for a moment, the results of the 2020 elections were both an historic and mathematical impossibility! So yes, you had 73 million Trump voters very upset since they knew the election had been stolen!

Ater the rally on the Ellipse, a group had a permit in lot 8 of the Capitol building complex. They had a legal right to be on the Capitol grounds. Thousands began the peaceful march down Constitution Avenue from the White House to the Capitol. 3! 0 minutes
BEFORE Trump’s speech ended you had thousands already gathering at the Capitol grounds. People began pass over some bike racks that seemed to have been set up as barriers and the chaotic scene began to unfold. IF PEOPLE REALLY WANTED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AT THE CAPITOL, THERE IS 14,000 HOURS OF SURVEILLANCE VIDEO FROM EVERY NOOK AND CRANNY OF THE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF THE CAPITOL! THE CAPITOL HILL POLICE, DOJ, AND SPEAKER PELOSI HAVE REFUSED TO RELEASE THAT FOOTAGE? WHY? IF THIS WAS INDEED A VIOLENT INSURRECTION, AN ASSAULT ON OUR DEMOCRACY, THAT FOOTAGE WOULD PROVE IT! The entire purpose of the kangaroo court known as the 1/6 Commission has NOTHING to do with a search for the truth. It has been designed to damage Trump to a point he is unelectable in 2024 while at the same time intimidating the 73 million Trump voters into silence and to never be involved in any way in the political process, even if it is simply flying a Trump flag or attending a rally! The key to this int! imidation
strategy is to use the government agencies like Homeland Security, the FBI, the DOJ, to proclaim the greatest threat to our nation are white supremacists, or more specific the 73 million people who voted for Donald Trump in 2020, or even more specific white, Christian, men! So the FBI has used every ounce of the vast resources to track down everyone who was in DC on 1/6. They have over-charged many of these people, though NOT ONE has been charged with insurrection! Dozens of these people who were only charged with misdemeanors have been in a DC gulag for nearly a year, being denied all of the rights under the guise they are domestic terrorists…again, even tho most are charged with misdemeanors! These 1/6ers have had their rights denied, been beaten by guards, denied basic hygiene needs, kept from meeting with their attorneys, have had virtually zero contact with their families and the outside world, and other abuses. IT IS RIGHT OUT OF THE OLD SOVIET GULAGS! Pray for these! people.
Again, if they broke the laws prosecute them, but prosecute them humanely. They would have been better off knocking off a high-end retailer in Chicago or raping someone in broad daylight in NYC! They would have been out with no bound in hours! Or, they should have been part of Black Lives Matter or ANTIFA during the summer of 2020 where 1,000s were arrested for arson, assaulting the police, looting, rioting, and even murder! 99% of those arrested were out within hours and the vast majority of the cases were simply dropped! SO MUCH FOR EQUAL APPLICATION OF THE LAWS! Let me finish with why this matters to Christians. WHAT THEY ARE DOING TO THESE PEOPLE TODAY FOR POLITICS IS WHAT THEY WILL BE DOING TO CHRISTIANS TOMORROW FOR SIMPLY PRACTICING OUR FAITH!

Not in many years has this annual Christmas Devotional been so timely. I have never seen in my lifetime the amount of people and cultural forces coming out against Christmas! THEY MAKE THE GRINCH AND SCROOGE LOOK TAME!!!

Every year at this time, I get inundated with emails that read like 40-page doctrinal dissertations on why a Christian should NOT celebrate Christmas. They make very good arguments about the pagan celebrations at this time of year, the evils of the Christmas tree, lying to children about Santa Claus, how Jesus was not born on December 25th, and many other reasons why a Christian should not celebrate Christmas. To those pe! ople I
have only one thing to say . . . BAH HUMBUG!

Please, don’t send me emails why those who celebrate Christmas are following the devil. If you are led to not celebrate the birth of our Lord and want to miss out, that is up to you. Sadly, your misguided legalism has stolen your joy.

Listen, everyone understands that Jesus was not born on December 25, but according to most scholars, He was born sometime in September. I have yet to meet anyone who worshipped their Christmas tree; only decorated it. If you are old enough to be able to read this, then you are old enough to know that there is no Santa Claus and, yes, there are many pagan celebrations that occur at this time of the year and the Bible does not have the word Christmas in it. However, there is only ONE REASON that we celebrate Christmas and that is to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Christians SHOULD celebrate the birth of Jesus! It is right and good that we take time each ye! ar to
remember that blessed event. It was foretold by the prophets of old. It is a well-documented, historical event chronicled in the Gospels and supported by the historians of that day. After His death and resurrection, it is easily the GREATEST EVENT IN HUMAN HISTORY!

Think about it. God Himself, the Creator of the heavens and earth, came to this earth as a mere man to live with His creation. He came as a baby, born of a virgin in a humble manger in an obscure little town. He would grow up to die on a cross as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all mankind. Three days after His death, God would raise Him from the dead as a sign to this lost and unbelieving world that He was exactly who He claimed to be . . . the SON OF GOD!

His life would literally transform the lives of every man, woman, and child for the rest of human history!!! THAT is why we celebrate Christmas. THAT is why, as Christians, we SHOULD celebrate Christmas!!!

much. I realize that people who say not to celebrate Christmas mean well and are trying to live their lives in a way pleasing and acceptable to God. Sadly, they are missing the great joy of this time of year. I know they are well intentioned and many of the things they point out about Christmas are true but they have missed the point of Christmas.

Christmas is about only one thing, celebrating the birth of Jesus. It is one of those times of the year that we gather with family and friends and share our faith in Christ. That alone is a great reason we should be celebrating Christmas.

Christmas is also VERY BIBLICAL. Luke Chapter 2 gives us the account of His birth. That was the very first Christmas. Of course, Mary was there, as was Joseph. We also read about several shepherds that God spoke to who were part of that first Christmas. Now, some 2,000 years later, we will set aside time in the coming days to do what they did at that first Christmas . . . to celebrat! e the
birth of Jesus!

I pray today that you will never forget what Christmas is really about and why we celebrate this holiday. Of course, anything that the world gets involved with becomes perverted. The world has taken this sacred time of the year and turned it into a time of commerce.

We must never allow ourselves to get so caught up in the parties, the gifts, the food, and all of the other things associated with the Christmas season to forget what it is about . . . .a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus. THAT is what Christmas is really about and THAT is why, as Christians, we SHOULD celebrate this wonderful event!!!
