DAILY DEVOTIONAL MONDAY OCTOBER 31, 2022

(John 15:9)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Lord, USE ME in these perilous, last days, as a messenger of Your hope in Jesus. Father, make me aware of the people You have put in my life each day, many who will die and burn in hell for all eternity for rejecting Christ, and use me as a vessel of Your love and hope. I thank You for sending Jesus to die for my sins that I might know the free gift of everlasting life, and I ask today that You help me to lead others to that wonderful eternal relationship with Christ. For it is in HIS name I pray…AMEN!

As we enter into this Christmas season, I have a challenge for that has ZERO to do with money…IT IS SPIRITUAL! Most families have their Christmas traditions which they look forward to continuing as Thanksgiving ends and the Christmas season begins in earnest. Those traditions are so important since they connect families to their past and are a time of remembrance of those loved ones who have gone home to be with the Lord. We know the Bible teaches that tomorrow is promised to none of us. However, most reading these words today will be celebrating Christmas day in just under 8 weeks. Having said that, I want to challenge you today to make this Christmas the most special Christmas of your lifetime. That can’t and won’t happen in the way the lost world around us celebrates! this time
of year with parties and presents. It has to happen by first focusing on what this time of year is really all about, the birth of Jesus. For Christians, especially those who have walked with the Lord for decades, spent a good part of their lives in the church, Christmas is always special, but really how special? We love the great carols, the Christmas passages in the Bible, but is our Christmas routine the same year after year after year? My challenge to you this Christmas season is to change it up! I am not saying abandon your normal family traditions, or the wonderful services at your church, ADD TO THEM! I understand everyone is busy, schedules get even tighter this time of year, and that is all the more reason to do something PURPOSEFUL this Christmas. There is a world outside of your home that is lost, becoming more lost with each passing day. It is a world that is hurting, hurting more with each passing day. It is a world that is looking for hope, when all around is no! thing but
hopelessness. As followers of Jesus Christ we have the answer for the lost, for the hurting, and for the hopeless…JESUS! At this time of year when we celebrate God’s gift to the world, His Son Jesus, I am challenging you to share that gift with others this Christmas season. God blesses us with inspiration from on high when we seek it. Get alone with God and start asking Him what YOU can do this Christmas to share Jesus with others. There are an unlimited ways you can do that. God knows your heart, the gifts He has bestowed upon you, and will guide you. Don’t be afraid to think outside of the box since there are no bad ideas with God. Pray, think, talk to the Lord, pray some more, and ask Him for Divine inspiration how you can share Jesus this Christmas with others and make it your most special, blessed Christmas of your life!!! GOD IS SPEAKING TO YOU TODAY, DON’T IGNORE HIS VOICE!!! I WILL BE PRAYING FOR YOU!!!

Many times we get to a point in our life where we feel like no one really cares about us or really loves us. I want to assure you this morning, that Jesus loves you more than you can ever know. Because He came to thi! s earth
and walked where we walk each day, He understands the problems and difficulties of our daily life.

That is one reason why our prayers have so much meaning. Jesus understands what it is like to have a sick friend. He understands what it is like to have people we love in trouble. He understands when your lives are in a mess. Jesus knows, He understands, He cares . . . and most of all, He loves you deeply.

I pray today, that you dwell on and come to the realization just how much Jesus loves you and cares about you. Sometimes, just comprehending this simple truth can make all the difference in our life. In the complexities of our life, we often need to get back to basic truths to maintain our focus. Nothing is more basic, more real, than the love Jesus has for you.

As you go thru this day and deal with the problems of life we all face, keep in the front of your mind the love Jesus has for you. Let that knowledge give you hope in the hard times, and peace in tho! se times
where things are going OK. As you make those daily decisions, remember Jesus loves you. You can reciprocate that love by doing those things which will be pleasing to Him. Remembering His love for us, wanting to please Him, helps us to make the right decisions throughout the day.

I love you and care about you so much. I am grateful for each one of you and your concern for others. Keep this ministry in your prayers as we tell people worldwide each day just how much Jesus loves them. Thank you for helping spread the word about this great oasis of hope on the Internet called Liveprayer. You are very special to me. But more important, you are very special to Jesus.

Remember this simple but powerful word today, JESUS LOVES YOU!!!
