(Psalms 118:24; James 4:14)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, help me to be a Godly citizen and honor the laws of this nation. Thank You for allowing me to live in a nation where we can have our voice heard through the democratic process that governs us. Help ALL people find peace, joy, and an abundant life wherever they may live in this world. We know that can only come through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Help me to do my part when opportunities present themselves to be part of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with people throughout the world. Protect this nation from those who would seek to do it harm, and give those in authority the strength to enforce the laws that govern this great land. In the name of Jesus I pray…AMEN!

**THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: I spent a decade running from God back in the 80s. I was living in Chicago at the time. More specifically, Lak! e Point
Tower at the base of Navy Pier. I also spend 9 months of my life at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in downtown Chicago, the Federal jail where people are held pending criminal cases in Federal Court. I was blessed to begin my public ministry in Chicago 30 years ago. So I have many memories of that great city, mostly wonderful memories. That is why I am so sad to see that once great city in such turmoil and disarray…ALL ON PURPOSE! Say what you want about the Daley’s, and I understand they were corrupt, but they kept the snow plowed, the garbage picked up, didn’t do a bad job on the endless infamous Chicago potholes, and kept the city reasonably safe. Even when I was in Chicago back in the 80s, you knew to stay out of the south side and west side since most the street crime was centered in those areas. Now, NO PLACE IS SAFE, EVEN THE MIRACLE MILE, EVEN THE GREAT SUBURBS!!! Three evil people have turned Chicago into a dystopian nightmare. That would be Gov. JB Prit! zker, Mayor
“Beetlejuice” Lori Lightfoot, and Soros-backed States Attorney Kim Foxx!!! If they aren’t bad enough, come January 1st, an Illinois criminal justice reform law will do away with the cash bail system. That means like in New York, suspects charged with certain felonies including second-degree murder, aggravated battery, and arson to name a few, will be released without bail. Approximately 400 criminal defendants sitting in jail right now with these type of pending charges will be released back into the community! Those who want to take away your guns talk about common sense gun laws, when the problem has never been the guns…IT IS THE CRIMINALS USING THE GUNS! Innocent people will soon be the victims of violent crimes, even lose their life, all because violent criminals will no longer be put in prison where they belong. May God watch over the citizens of Illinois and those who will visit that state on business and for pleasure!!!

Now that summer is behind us, we are in the final weeks of 2022. Sadly, much of our lives are lived on “auto pilot” and one day simply runs into the next. This is incredibly ! dangerous
since it cheapens the value of each day, and causes us to take our lives for granted. If you hear one thing from today’s message, HEAR THIS! TODAY IS THE MOST IMPORTANT DAY OF YOUR LIFE!

Why do I say that? Simple. One thing that the Bible clearly teaches is that tomorrow is promised to nobody. Each day is a gift from God and tomorrow is not promised to any of us. I want you to take a few moments right now and simply dwell on the fact that God GAVE YOU THIS DAY. I realize that you have an agenda for the day, that you have things you must get done, that you have a very tight schedule. But let me ask you a couple of serious questions. PONDER THESE QUESTIONS.

What if in the course of your busy day you are driving along and another cars hits you? What if you are sitting in your office and all of a sudden your chest gets tight and you can’t seem to get your breath? What if you are walking to school and out of nowhere guns go off and bullets are flying by? Sound far-f! etched?
Sound like unreasonable questions? NOT TODAY MY FRIEND!

EVERY DAY tens of thousands are involved in auto accidents that they never planned on being involved in when they left their homes that morning. EVERY DAY people end up in hospitals for a variety of health issues, never thinking for a second that they would not be in their own bed that night. EVERY DAY people are involved in random acts of violence that alter, or in some cases, end their life. What I am saying to you is that YOU HAVE NO IDEA how this day will unfold. YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT WILL HAPPEN TODAY.

Listen, I love you and care about you so much. My goal, today, is NOT to scare you, to make you paranoid, or to make you afraid to live. My only goal is to make you appreciate how SPECIAL this day is, how special each day is! We get so focused on our lives that we forget each day is a special gift from God. THAT is the point I want you to take from this word today. TODAY IS SPECIAL. It is a day like no ot! her, and
when it is over, you will never have it again. So the ultimate question becomes, how do I make today count?

LIVE FOR HIM. Let your light shine wherever you are at today. Let the love of Jesus flow through you to all those that you encounter today. Make sure that the average person you meet in your day’s journey knows that there is something different about you. You have something. That something is an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ! Show HIS love throughout the day in all that you do. My challenge to you is to make today, not just another day, but the SPECIAL DAY that God made it to be!

IT IS THE ONLY DAY THAT YOU ARE GUARANTEED! THAT IS WHY IT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT DAY OF YOUR LIFE!

The Bible says that TODAY is the day of salvation. If you have never made the decision to accept Jesus into your heart and life by faith, or if you are not 100% certain if you die today you will be in Heaven, please take a moment and read the words at this link, watch! the
