***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Father, please help me to be more like Jesus each day. Help me to be kind to others, to care about others, to share the hope of the Gospel with others. I love Jesus and my greatest desire is to be more like my Savior each day. In the name of Jesus I pray…AMEN!!!

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: There have been numerous senseless killings around the nation in the past few days, all either gang or mental illness related, but of course the media only chooses to talk about one! First, we pray for the families who have lost loved ones who did nothing wrong, they were just living their lives when murdered by criminal or mentally ill gunmen. We also pray for the many who have been injured in these attacks, for the Lord to heal their bodies. Another deadly weekend in Chicago, 5 dead and 5 dozen shot. Gangs started shooting into the crowds leaving t! he
Milwaukee Bucks basketball game Friday night leaving 3 dead and a dozen others injured. A 68 year old Asian man started shooting at a church in southern California leaving one dead. A lone, mentally ill gunman targeted a supermarket in a black neighborhood of Buffalo killing 10, severely injuring 3 more people. Of course, like a clock the media, Democratic politicians, and the gun grab groups were immediately pushing for new gun laws to water down the 2nd Amendment. The reality is, NOT ONE LAW would have prevented any of these horrific events. As I have discussed over and over again, we have enough gun laws, WE NEED TO START ENFORCING THEM! A felon with a gun is an automatic 5 yrs in prison on top of whatever else that person is charged with. In plea deals, dropping the gun charge is usually the first thing prosecutors do. We know that the FBI had contact with the mentally ill young man who killed people at a prayer meeting in a Charleston, South Carolina church, just like t! hey had
contact with the mentally ill young man who killed students at Parkland High School in Ft. Lauderdale, just like they had contact with the Muslim shooter of the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, yet weren’t able to stop any of those killings. We now know the state of NY had contact a year ago with the Buffalo shooter who as being investigated for wanting to kill students at his high school graduation. He was actually committed for a few days for mental evaluation. THE COMMON THREADS IN ALL OF THESE TYPE OF KILLINGS OVER THE DECADES HAS BEEN MENTAL ILLNESS AND CONVICTED CRIMINALS ILLEGALLY POSSESSING GUNS. It was not a shock that out of all the recent shootings, the corporate media and politicians chose to focus only on Buffalo. The crazed gunman had planned this mass killing for months, he left behind a racist manifesto, and most important, IT GIVES CREDIBILITY TO THE CURRENT ADMINISTRATION FALSE CLAIM THAT WHITE SUPREMACY IS THE GREATEST THREAT TO OUR HOMELAND! Does anyone rem! ember back
on April 3rd when a gunman killed 6 innocent people in Sacramento, California? Probably not since the media didn’t bother covering it after the initial reports because the gunman was black! How about the mentally ill man who ran over people in a Christmas parade, killing 6 people and injuring another dozen in Waukesha, Wisconsin? He was also an avowed racist who left behind a manifesto. No, the media dropped that story quickly when it turned out the killer was a black racist! Buffalo is different since this mentally ill person is a white racist! So now FOX News and Tucker Carlson are to blame for Buffalo. Social media is to blame for Buffalo. Buffalo proves how racism is rampant in our country. On and on and on as the media hyperbole flows like a river. To add fuel to this fire, “avatar” Biden who had no interest in going to Waukesha since it was of no political benefit, will visit Buffalo tomorrow for a photo op and to further politicize this tragedy. Also worth notin! g, the same
people who are so upset over these horrible gun deaths of innocent people, are most of the same people who are the most vocal about wanting to kill innocent babies at any time and for any reason! Sadly, until this nation gets serious about enforcing our gun laws and putting felons with guns in prison, until this nation gets serious about dealing with the greatest healthcare issue in our nation, mental illness, these horrible incidents will continue to occur and innocent people will continue to die. AS I HAVE SAID OFTEN, BY KILLING 60 MILLION PLUS BABIES OVER THE PAST 49 YEARS SINCE ROE AND EMBRACING DEADLY VIOLENCE FOR ENTERTAINMENT, WE HAVE CREATED A CULTURE OF DEATH!!!

Gun control and the Bible. You don’t get very far into the Book of Genesis until you see the first act of violence as Cain kills his brother Abel. Since that first act of evil, human history has been fraught with man’s violence against other men. Every type of weapon man has dreamed up in his imagination has been used to kill. The first firearms were invented in China in the 12th century. With the current heated debate in this nation over guns, I wanted to look at this issue in a way you won’t hear in the news, from a Biblical perspective.

First, the 2nd Amendment of our Constitution gives us the right to bear arms, so unless that Amendment is repealed confiscating guns is not even an option. New laws aren’t the answer either since the largest percentage of gun crimes are committed by people who don’t ob! ey the
laws to begin with. The reality is, there are exhaustive laws already on the books regarding guns, they just aren’t being enforced.

The mass shootings over the past decade that have received all of the headlines, have all been perpetrated by people with mental illness. The only logical actions that should be considered are doing a better job of identifying people who are suffering from some form of mental illness, getting them the treatment they need, and put into place a way to track those who are most likely to become violent.

Sadly, in the end this is a large country with 330 million people. To enjoy the incredible freedoms we have, it creates an atmosphere for someone who is mentally disturbed to be able to randomly attack innocent people. There simply is not any sort of plan that is going to prevent that from happening from time to time.

THAT MY FRIEND…is why the spiritual state of this nation is so critical. That isn’t going to stop random acts of v! iolence,
but it will create an entirely different atmosphere than what we are living with today. We would “do unto others as we would have them do unto us.” We would “love our neighbors as ourselves.” We would reject the violence that is glorified in the movies, TV, and video games. Instead of treating life like it has no value, we would embrace life as the special gift from God that it is!

I love you and care about you so much. Only true revival can change the spiritual state of our nation, thus changing the environment that exists today which fosters random acts of violence. While the more spectacular acts make the news, every day in large cities and small towns, innocent people are attacked, hurt, and killed. We have become experts in how to commit violent acts against each other.

This is also responsible for a society today that actually embraces and cheers for the 4,000 innocent babies that are slaughtered every 24 hours. It is such a part of our culture, most people! never
even give it a thought. In this nation where a culture of death flourishes, the next segment of our society to be put to death will be the elderly. Grandma is going to die soon anyway, put her out of her misery now and save the expense of keeping her alive any longer!

We don’t have a gun problem in this nation, we have a spiritual problem. If every gun was confiscated and destroyed, we would find whatever was handy to commit acts of violence. The only real answer to the violence in our culture is to turn our hearts to God and start living our lives by HIS laws. Our society will never obey the laws of man unless we first obey the laws of God!
