My Greatest Joy of Ministry is Sharing the Hope of Jesus Christ through this Daily Devotional

(Proverbs 29:18)

“Where there is no vision, the people perish.” (Proverbs 29:18)

Without a doubt the greatest joy of my 22 years of ministry has been the last 176 months of sharing the hope and love of Jesus Christ with you each day through this Daily Devotional. Even though over 2.5 million people worldwide read these words every day, I feel as if we have become a close family over these many years together. Most days I share the truth of God’s Word with you, and pray for the day to day issues you face in this life. Today however, I want to share some personal thoughts with you and ask that YOU pray for ME.

>From day one, Liveprayer has been a walk of faith, a test of my personal faith greater than anyone could ever imagine. I pray before God calls me home that I get a chance to write a book about these year on the front lines to encourage others to completely trust God and know that He will never fail you. The calling God has given me is a bit different than most. God has called me to take HIS message of hope and love through Christ to this lost and hurting world outside the four walls of the church, rather than preaching to the choir which is the huge percentage of people most churches and ministries are reaching.

God has created this incredible oasis of hope ( on the Internet, a vehicle that has largely been used for commerce and many ungodly purposes, because THIS is where many hurting and lost people can be found! Likewise, an overwhelming percentage of those who watch secular TV (non-Christian stations) are lost, hurting, and looking for answers in their life. God has given us the PERFECT vehicles in and the Liveprayer TV program to go into the world with the simple message, “If you are hurting, looking for hope and answers, we are here for you. Jesus is your hope and ultimate answer now and for all eternity!”

I want you to commit to pray each day for all that we are attempting to do in the last 8 months of this year through and the Liveprayer TV program. I shared with you last November that the Lord showed me THIS YEAR we would see the start of a real revival throughout this nation and the start of our land turning back to God and His Truth which is the only hope we have to escape God’s ultimate wrath and punishment.

ALSO, PRAY HOW GOD CAN USE YOU TO HELP ME INSURE THAT OUR BASIC OPERATIONAL COSTS ARE COVERED!!! Each month our basic Internet operations are $40,000, a bit over $1300 a day, to minister to the 2.5 million worldwide who get the Daily Devotional and the 40,000 who email us every 24 hours for prayer. The monthly Liveprayer TV budget is $30,000, just under $1400 per program, that is currently reaching apx. 250,000 people around the nation “live” every Monday-Friday evening. That is $70,000 a month, or $560,000, to insure all of our basic operations are covered through the end of this critical year!!!

Friends like you who have prayed and sacrificed over these past 15 years are responsible for the tens of millions of lives worldwide that have been impacted, and the 800,000 souls we know of who have come to faith in Jesus!!! Each month the hundreds who faithfully give as they are able, the 3-4 friends who God speaks to (many in that 11th hour) with the ability to send a major gift of $5,000 or more at a critical time, have enabled and the Liveprayer TV program to stand strong in the marketplace without compromise and declaring the Truth and the love of Jesus Christ to the lost and hurting masses in this world each day!!!

GREAT NEWS!!! As the TV program moves into its second year back on the air in May, Chicago beginning its 4th month, I believe that within the next 2-3 months we will be able to count on those in our TV audience to cover the entire TV budget each month. Our viewers are currently covering about 20% of the budget now, with more new friends coming on board each month especially in Chicago where the bulk of our costs are, but also where apx. 200,000 of our 250,000 viewers each night are!

We are also back in negotiations with several national syndicators who have shown an interest in the Liveprayer TV program in the past. Having been back on for a year and with a major market like Chicago, many syndicators have been back in touch with us about buying the advertising rights to the program. I will ALWAYS maintain the content rights to the program. A national syndication deal would give Liveprayer a huge financial windfall enabling us to fund ALL of our ministry operations each year from those proceeds so we would not have to depend literally each day for help from our dear friends just to fund our daily ministry operations.

***As we head into the final week of April, we are working on the $40,000 we need for our basic internet operations this month. So far the first $11,000 is in leaving $29,000 to go.

—>$10,000 of that is needed immediately for operational needs in the early part of the month whose bills are past due. I am asking by faith for the Lord to send ONE FRIEND TODAY who can insure that amount is covered in the next 24 hours! If you can help me, please email me at: so we can discuss the quickest way to get those funds to us.

That would leave the final $19,000 of this months operations, and I am asking that you please be in prayer what the Lord is calling you to give to insure we end the month with all of our basic operations current.

***Also, please be praying about our next 4 week payment of $25,160 due this coming Friday the 25th for May’s programs in Chicago. After just under 3 months we are already averaging apx. 200,000 viewers “live” every Monday-Friday from 11p-1a in that market alone, with a potential audience of 10 million who live in the greater Chicagoland area.

—>I am praying for 4 friends who can send a special one-time gift of $6,290 this week to insure that our payment to the TV station is covered by this Friday. IF GOD HAS BLESSED YOU WITH THE RESOURCES,PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO PRAY AND SEEK THE LORD IS HE IS ASKING YOU TO BE ONE OF THOSE 4 THIS MONTH!!!

***TO GIVE A GIFT TO LIVEPRAYER, you can use your major credit card on our secure server at: under the “Donation” link, you can give using your PayPal account using my email address: , or you can mail your gift to: Liveprayer, 6660 46th Ave. North, St.Petersburg, FL 33709. All gifts to Liveprayer are 100% tax deductible.

I love and care about you so much. I need your prayer and need you to make the sacrifce to help me financially. The proven ministry tools we have developed at and through the Liveprayer TV program is something no ministry is doing in reaching out to the incredible numbers of people we are reaching in the marketplace every day in such a personal way. Ministry tools dealing with the issues of the day from a Biblical perspective. We have the proven ministry pieces in place necessary to help lead this nation back to God and His Truth!!!

You see my friend, the LIES satan tells are out there and available to the masses 24/7 online and on TV where the masses get their information. That is why it is critical to take the message of hope and love through Jesus directly to the lost and hurting masses where they live to spark a true national revival and lead this nation back to God and His Truth!!!

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,

How to Win Debates and Change Hearts Regarding Homosexuality, Gay Marriage and Abortion

(Leviticus 18:22, 20:13; Romans 1:18-32; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11)

SPECIAL COMMENTARY ON THE BOSTON BOMBING: Let me say upfront so there is NO CONFUSION and people aren’t able to take me out of context or accuse me of saying something I DID NOT! I have all the compassion in the world for the families and loved ones of the THREE people who died from this act of terror in Boston last year, we prayed for them at the time and continue to pray for the 260 people who were injured, many severely losing limbs and having their lives forever altered.

My disgust is in the hypocrisy and arrogance of ALL the news organizations, especially those who openly advocate and cheerlead for the slaughter of innocent babies. In the year since the bombing in Boston last year where THREE people were killed, apx. ONE AND A HALF MILLION babies have been slaughtered in this nation!!! A huge percentage of the media, politicians, and public who are so distraught over that act of terror in Boston, also promote, support, and advocate for the killing of innocent babies!!!

If that is not bad enough, NONE of the non-stop news coverage on any network has even dared to tell the truth about what happened in Boston last year. It was an act of terror by MUSLIMS! Not misguided young men or Scandinavian grandmothers…MUSLIMS! This is what Islam has been about for their entire 1400 year history and is still about today! The media and politicians are too gutless to spend even one minute in thousands and thousands of hours of coverage to use what happened in Boston last year to illustrate for people how ALL practicing Muslims, no matter where they live, always have, still do, and always will act, and why people must be vigilant.

Islam is a false religious/political ideology that will NEVER rest until they take over this nation as is their clear and publicly stated goal for every nation in the world. LISTEN AND WAKE UP SINCE VERY FEW HAVE THE GUTS TO TELL YOU THE REAL TRUTH ABOUT WHAT THE BOSTON BOMBING WAS REALLY ABOUT!!!

How to win the debates and change hearts and minds regarding homosexuality, gay marriage and abortion! I am so tired of seeing “Christian leaders” every Easter and Christmas, the only time the secular media will even give a limited voice to a Christian worldview, get pummeled and humiliated as they are fed questions predicated on lies regarding homosexuality, gay marriage, and abortion. The major broadcast and 24-hour cable news networks only put on the same group of “safe” men who they know won’t go off script and say anything that would challenge their questions which are based on lies and the deceptive language they use.

*I have been told by many bookers on various FOX and CNN programs I had been on frequently years ago, that they could no longer book me because they did not want to get into theological debates. That is fine with me, because I was never on those programs to promote myself, a book, or Liveprayer, and I refuse to sit there like a puppet and help the media perpetuate their lies the masses have bought into by not challenging those lies since that accomplishes nothing for the cause of Christ or the Kingdom!

Those who appear supposedly representing Christians, NEVER challenge the lies imbedded in the questions about homosexuality and gay marriage, the chief lie being when people are referred to as “gay!” They need to IMMEDIATELY REJECT this lie and state the truth that there is no such thing as a gay or lesbian person, only men and women who CHOOSE to engage in perverted, unnatural, and unhealthy sex acts with people of the same sex. This immediately changes the entire debate, since it is now not about someone who can’t help how they were born, but someone who is making a conscious CHOICE to engage in such behavior!

A person is born with white skin, black skin, yellow skin, brown skin, or red skin…they have no choice. A person may be born in the United States, Canada, England, China, India, Mexico, or Brazil…they have no choice. Taking your pants off to have sexual relations is a CHOICE! The only argument you can make that it is NOT a choice is to claim a person has no ability to reason or to make choices, and operates as an animal on whatever instincts they may have at a given moment!!!

It also blows out of the water the fraudulent argument that people who CHOOSE to engage in such perverted behavior have any sort of “civil rights” simply by virtue of their choice of sex. As a white person, I am insulted by this specious argument. Every black person should be disgusted to compare a legitimate movement like the rights they deserved as a human being, with special rights for people who CHOOSE to engage in perverted sex acts with people of the same sex!

The debate over “same-sex marriage” also becomes very different. I hear all the time that the rationale for same-sex marraige is because a man is “in love” with another man or a woman is “in love” with another woman. Marriage between a man and woman and the raising of the offspring from that union has been the foundation of societies throughout all of human history. According to the argument by those who advocate for redefining marriage, you can now claim to be “in love” in order to support any type of relationship. That could be a relationship between an adult and a child, a man and multiple women, a woman with multiple men, or any other combination of men, women, children, and even animals, because they were “in love!”

The other trap these pawns always fall into is allowing the host to use what I call ‘weasel language” without challenging their deceptive phrases that are purposely meant to soft-sell the real truth to the ignorant viewers, INCLUDING many who identify themselves as Christians! When speaking of perverting God’s Holy Institution of Marriage they refer to it as “marriage equality” and use descriptive verbiage to equate same-sex couples with those who follow God’s plan for marriage between a man and woman.

When it comes to abortion, the brainwashed phrase is “pro-choice.” Think for a second. If you are for life you are called pro-life. The only “choice” is to kill your baby or not, so you are either pro-life or you are pro-death! The latest clever phrases to soft-sell the slaughter of innocent babies are “women’s health issues,” “reproductive rights,” “a woman’s right to choose,” and “the war on women.” The real war is NOT on women, but on their babies in the womb they may choose to kill! For the record, it takes a woman AND A MAN to create a baby. Sadly missing in the conversation about abortion is the man’s feelings, his input. I deal daily with almost as many men as women who have the scar of abortion in their past, yet they are invisible, non-existent in the conversation.

I love and care about you so much. Until supposed men of God are willing to go into the secular media and CHALLENGE the lies that are used as truth imbedded in the questions and discussion regarding homosexuality, gay marriage, and abortion, the media is all too happy to trot out the same “safe” cast of characters at Easter and Christmas and use them as pawns to advance their lies to the masses as truth. Other than the personal exposure, the exposure for their ministry, without challenging the false questions they accomplish nothing! Those who already reject a Christian worldview will only be emboldened. It is the hearts, minds, and SOULS of that small percentage watching who would be open to the truth that is at stake, and they only be reached by those with the courage to “go off script” and tell them the Truth!

That is why the Liveprayer TV program that will have been back on for one year at the end of this month, airing “live” Monday-Friday from Midnight-2am EDT in over 50 cities including a major station reaching the 10 million who live in the greater Chicagoland market, is so critical. Unless there is a new program in the past week, I am the ONLY person in the nation airing “live” on secular TV stations to purposely reach the lost and hurting outside the four walls of the church, telling people the unadulturated truth as I have every day for nearly 15 years in the Daily Devotional without candy-coating or compromising the Truth of God’s Word!

Check out some of last week’s powerful programs from Easter week, since in addition to people anywhere in the world being able to watch the program when we are “live” Monday thru Friday from Midnight-2am EDT an any internet connected device, we also record every program for people anywhere in the world on any sort of internet connected device to watch at their convenience.
Liveprayer TV:

Between 15 years of, the 10 years of the Liveprayer TV program, we have the proven ministry tools and track record of faithfulness in place to lead this nation into a true revival and change the spiritual course of our land. Our only hope as a nation is to turn back to God and His Truth, and that is the focus of my every breath now and until this nation repents or the Lord calls me home. In the meantime, His Truth will be heard by millions who otherwise would not be reached, and countless souls will come to faith in Jesus Christ. That is why I ask you each day to pray for me and for His work here, and seek the Lord about what God is calling you to do to help me since our time is very short. Jesus is coming at any moment which is why we must fight satan each day for the hearts, minds, and SOULS of men!!!

Now is the Time to do Great Things for God

(2 Corinthians 8:3-4)

**ASK BILL: Pastor Bill, what do you think about the leading atheist group in the nation holding their national conference in Salt Lake City to target Mormons?

ANSWER: Having debated in the media and public forums over the last 15 years some of the leading atheists in the country, I have always pitied the pathetic logic required to hold the position there is no God. For those who hold a belief there is no God to target a satanic cult who believes in a non-existent fantasy “god” that they teach was once a man like you and I, I personally find hilarious. I can only imagine the great laugh the one true God of the Bible is having while watching two groups who are led by satan arguing, one that there is no such thing as God, and the other for the existence of the imaginary “god” of their cult!!!

Now is the time to do great things for God!!! I have always loved to read about the man called Saul, who became Paul. A man who was a leader in persecuting the first church, had that incredible transformation on the Damascus Road, and then proceeded to live one of the greatest lives of service ever recorded.

Hours upon hours I have studied Paul’s life, and in the end I came to the conclusion that his success in serving the Lord was due to the fact he had no fear of what God could do and lived out his belief that all things were possible with God. Listen to me closely. Paul did not just say it . . . HE LIVED IT!!! If you are going to do great things for God, you must have no fear and LIVE each day without doubting that God is able to do all things.

I hear many people condemn the church, condemn ministries for always talking about money. I agree that perhaps too much effort does go into fund-raising, but I want to remind you that one of the most effective fund-raisers in the history of the church was Paul himself. He understood that to spread the Good News in a massive way took the financial support of those who were already in the faith.

I appreciate his approach in that he always made it clear it was not the size of the gift, but the attitude of the heart that gave. It was not the amount, but the sacrifice involved. Paul was realistic because he understood that to take the Gospel to all the world, it required hard work, sacrifice, and finances. Being the intelligent man he was, I have, no doubt, that he sat down, figured out what it would take for each of his missionary journeys and the planting of the new churches, and then asked God for wisdom in how to raise the amount needed following God’s plan.

My heart is so open this very moment as I am typing these words to you. I sense in my Spirit so many wanting to do more for the Lord, so many wanting to make a bigger impact. I want to tell you in love, the only thing stopping you is YOU! God is ready. We have a BIG God. He can do all things. Only YOU can limit what God can do!!!

I want this message to be an encouragement and a challenge for you to get out there and see how big God really is. Don’t be afraid of failure because there is NO failure in the things of God. I am encouraged by the great men of vision alive at this point in time, men who have challenged God and done great things for God, men who were not satisfied sitting back waiting for someone else to do something.

Liveprayer has been on the front lines for the past 15 years. Our work is not finished just yet. With and the Liveprayer TV program that has been back for one year at the end of this month, we have the proven ministry pieces in place to help lead this nation, more ripe than ever for a real revival, back to God and His Truth!

We only get one life. This is our one and only opportunity to do great things for God our Creator! I am coming to you today and asking you to help me finish the work we began together 15 yrs ago that has impacted tens of millions of lives worldwide and led over 800,000 souls we know of to faith in Jesus!!! It has been dear friends like you who have prayed and sacrificed greatly to make that all possible!!!

I love you and care about you so much. As we live in these critical days, now more than ever the lost masses who have never even been to church, never heard the Truth of God’s Word, will die and end up in hell without faith in Jesus! That is what the mission of Liveprayer has been for 15 yrs now online and 10 yrs on TV, to utilized the Internet and secular TV to bring the truth of the Bible to the hurting masses and the hope and love of Jesus Christ while helping to spark a national revival to lead this once Godly country back to our Creator and His Truth!!!

God is speaking to you today my friend. This is not a coincidence or accident that you are reading these words. Will you help me? It has been the faithfulness of so many friends of His work every single day these past 15 years who have exercised their faith and sacrificed to make an eternal impact in lives they will never meet until Glory!

It is a very small percentage, less than 1/4 of 1% of those we minister to worldwide each day, who every send a dime to help me which is why every month we are forced to rely on 2-3 of our friends who have the ability to send a large gift of $5,000 or more! Many of those who help Liveprayer have sacrificed month after month for over a decade as they have laid up incredible treasure in Heaven during that time for their obedience.

Unlike the major ministries who have to raise tens of millions since such a huge percentage goes to “overhead” such as buildings, the cost of having hundreds, even thousands of employees, the opulent lifestyle so many heads of ministries live and often flaunt with their private jets, multiple mansions, new luxury cars, and huge salaries, Liveprayer can accomplish all that we currently do for under $900,000 a year!

I know there are tens of thousands, hundred of thousands reading these words THIS MOMENT who have the ability to send a gift of $5, $10, $50, $100, or more. If God has blessed you through His work here, especially if you have never given to Liveprayer in the past, will you please take a moment and pray today about helping me. If just 3,000 people would send a gift of $10 in today, the balance of our April budget would be covered over the next few days! Just 251 people sending a one-time gift today of $100 would insure our Chicago TV time for May is paid on time by this Friday! Will you allow God to use your life, your treasure, and your talents to help me fulfill His mission for Liveprayer?

***APRIL FINANCIAL UPDATE: As we are down to the final 10 days of April, we are working on the $40,000 we need for our basic internet operations this month. So far the first $10,000 is in leaving $30,000 to go. Please be in prayer what the Lord is calling you to give to insure we end the month with all of our basic operations current. Thank You so much for praying and making the sacrifice to help me!!!

Also, please be praying about our next 4 week payment of $25,160 due this coming Friday the 25th for May’s programs in Chicago. After just under 3 months we are already averaging apx. 200,000 viewers “live” every Monday-Friday from 11p-1a in that market alone, with a potential audience of 10 million who live in the greater Chicagoland area. I am praying for 4 friends who can send a special one-time gift of $6,290 this week to insure that our payment to the TV station is covered by this Friday. IF GOD HAS BLESSED YOU WITH THE RESOURCES,PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO PRAY AND SEEK THE LORD IS HE IS ASKING YOU TO BE ONE OF THOSE 4 THIS MONTH!!!

To send a gift to Liveprayer on your major credit card at our website under the “Donation” button, or you can give from your PayPal account by using my email address, , or you can mail it to: Liveprayer, 6660 46th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, Florida 33709. Happy Resurrection Day

(Matthew 28:5-7)

***ASK BILL: Pastor Bill, do you feel the U.S. should be the “police of the world” getting involved in numerous wars in other countries?

ANSWER: While these are issues our government makes decisions about in regard to our own national interests, my goal is that we should be the “evangelists of the world” and take the Gospel to every corner of the globe. The government will do what they do for political reasons, we as followers of Christ need to do what our job is!

HE IS RISEN!!!!!!!! Today, marks the greatest historical event in human history…the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The reason the resurrection of Jesus is the greatest historical event is because it is the absolute key to our faith. Paul said in his first letter to the church at Corinth in the 15th chapter, that if Christ did not rise from the dead, then we are still dead in our sin and most vain of all. However, if He did rise from the dead, then we have the assurance our sins are forgiven and of everlasting life.

You see, Jesus is either the biggest fraud in the history of mankind or He is exactly who He claims to be…the Son of God. The resurrection is the key event.

The historical evidence of Christ’s resurrection is irrefutable. The fact that he died on a Roman cross, the claims of followers seeing the risen Lord, evidence of the empty tomb, the inability of the Jewish leaders to disprove the resurrection claims in the very city Jesus died and was buried, and the radical transformation in the lives of His disciples are all well documented.

His disciples went from being normal men concerned only about their own welfare from the night Jesus was arrested, to bold preachers who were willing to die for their faith. You also have Jesus’ own predictions of His resurrection as well as the fact that soon after was the birth of the Christian church that started meeting on Sunday. That is significant since these were monotheistic Jews who were used to worshipping on Saturday.

My friend, the Christian faith has never meant to be a blind leap in the dark. God never asked His children to just believe without any evidence of what we believe in. He has given us plenty of tangible historical evidence to help us know without a doubt that what is in His inspired, inerrant Word is the ABSOLUTE TRUTH. Absolute truth that you can stake your very life on. Of course, once we get to the point we accept the resurrection as a fact, and we accept His Word as TRUTH, it then demands that we totally and unconditionally surrender our very life to Him.

That becomes the logical conclusion of this spiritual journey. Because you see, it is not our life any longer, it belongs to Him. Our purpose is to simply serve and glorify Him with our lives. I pray that on this day in which we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, you will recommit your life to Him. We can all do better. None of us have given it ALL to Him…we can give Him more. Make this day the day that you realize that Jesus rose from the dead, to insure that you will live for eternity with Him if you have accepted Him into your heart and life by faith.

I love you and care about you so very much. I pray you have a wonderful Resurrection Day. For those traveling to be with your family, you will be in my prayers for a safe journey. May you be richly blessed as we stand together to proclaim to this hurting and dying world that Jesus Christ is the Lord of Lords, and the King of Kings….HE IS RISEN!!!

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller

It’s Our Time to Make History . . . Eternal History

(Hebrews Chapter 11)

**ASK BILL: Pastor Bill, if the anti-Christ is alive today, does he know he’s the anti-Christ or will this not become apparent to him until later?

ANSWER: Great question. I honestly am not 100% certain, though, I have a feeling someone who has the incredible abilities to bring together a one-world government, a one-world-economy, and a one-world religion, may even feel they are inspired by God! Never before have all of the pieces to make this a reality been more available than today. Another thing, none of this will be possible simply through brute force, so the anti-Christ will be an incredibly charismatic, incredibly intelligent, incredibly gifted person to bring together the world under one single banner. However, once in control, the evil of one human being controlling the entire world will become apparent. Very scary.

I have always enjoyed history. Two of my favorite television channels are the History Channel and ESPN Classic. In school I loved American History. The incredible stories of how our nation was founded. All of the various wars we have been engaged in throughout our nearly 238 years. Being a sports fan, I enjoy reading about those who pioneered the games of football, basketball, and baseball. So I guess it was natural for me to love the great stories in the Bible, the greatest history book of all time. I love to read the writings of the Jewish historian Josephus. Studying the history of the church throughout the years has been a passion of mine.

What makes history most exciting though is not just the great events, but the men and women who were responsible for, and made those great events happen. Only God knows how many billions of people have lived throughout human history. The fact is, we each make this journey called life just once. It is a very brief journey, measured by an average of only 50 some years. Whatever opportunity we may have to put our stamp on this world we are living in, to contribute to history happens in those few years. Should Christ tarry in His return, the history those in future generations will read about is being made each and every day right now!

With the understanding that this is a brief journey we are on, we should be motivated to get the most out of each and every day. Our focus each day should be on fulfilling our reason for being alive, and that is to serve and glorify the Lord through our lives. I have written previously that the greatest legacy we can leave is the lives we have influenced for Christ throughout our journey. We will live on in those God has brought across our path during our years here on earth. In serving Him, we should not be afraid to dream big. You see my friend, we have a big God. He is only limited by our faith. The Bible says, “Where there is no vision the people perish”. What God needs in these last days more than ever is a people sold out to Him, not afraid to dream big dreams, and have total faith in Him.

Every day people die, and will be forever separated from God because they do not know Christ as their Savior. Every day people all over the world are dealing with the trials and tribulations of every day life, hurting, without hope because they do not know Jesus. God has called us to be the light to this dark world. We must allow Him to use our lives to be that light in the midst of the darkness so many live in. That is what He asks me to do each day, and what He asks you to do each day. As we are faithful over a little, “He makes us ruler over much.” He will use our lives to whatever degree we allow Him to use us.

Our motivation is critical. The Bible teaches in many places that we set our desires on the things of heaven, not on earth. You can spend your entire life trying to be the best athlete, the best businessman. the most successful actress, the recording artist who sells the most records, the top military man in your country, a scientist who makes many wonderful discoveries, or the best at whatever profession you want to name, and you may succeed.

But unless you were doing it for the Lord, allowing the Lord to use your success to bring His message of hope and love through Christ to people, the best you can hope for is a paragraph in history books that one day will no longer exist. That means your lifetime accomplishments are temporal at best. That is why when our motivation is Heaven-bound, the accomplishments have an eternal significance in the changed hearts and eternal souls of people.

I love you and care about you so much. I realize many of you are being buried with the cares of this world today. I work hard each day to encourage you, pray for you, try to help you overcome these distractions since they keep you from fully focusing on all God has planned for your life. It is a tactic of the enemy to keep us so distracted that we aren’t able to be all God calls for us to be. I am praying for you today to see victory over these battles in your life, knowing that God has more for you to do before your journey here is over.

The fact is, there will always be battles in our life, always be distractions. We must deal with those battles but never lose sight of the fact God has a plan and purpose for our life. Many say I’ll serve God when my life is straight. Guess what, your life is never going to be 100% straight, and you are giving the enemy a victory he doesn’t deserve when you do that. Every great man and woman of God fought the daily battles in their personal life. That is part of the human condition. The difference was they didn’t let those battles stop them from being all God called them to be, and serving Him with their life.

It is no accident that you are reading this message today. It is no accident that we are living at this very moment in human history. We can either just live out our time, or we can use this precious gift God has given us to serve Him and glorify Him. I want to personally challenge you today to take 15 minutes during the next 24 hours. Get alone with God, just you and God, and pray this prayer:

“Dear God, here I am. You know all about me. You know my weaknesses, my strengths. You know the battles I am facing in my life right now. But I believe that you have a perfect plan for my life. I want to surrender myself to you this very moment so that your plan for my life might be fulfilled. It is NOT my life, it belongs to you. Show me what you want me to do, and I will do it. Today is the day. Now is the time. Guide me and direct me to do your will. IN Jesus’ name, AMEN”.

Now spend some time with the Lord, and I promise you the Holy Spirit will begin to speak to you, and God will open doors in your life, and He will reveal to you through the Word, through prayer, through other people, through the circumstances in your life what it is He is asking you to do. He will start small, and as you are faithful in a little, He will give you more. TODAY IS THE DAY AND NOW IS THE TIME! It is our turn to make history, eternal history in the lives of hurting and lost people!!!

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,

Today We Celebrate One of the Greatest Events in History, the Death of Jesus on the Cross

(John 3:16)

***ASK BILL: Pastor Bill, I have recently read a daily devotional that really has disturbed me as it said it is an insult to God for Christians to ask for forgiveness. Because He died for all our sins (previous and future). So if this is true, how can Christians truly repent?

ANSWER: First, you NEVER read that here. Sadly, in the internet age, there is a plethora of people writing online with ZERO theological training. That is why it is critical to know WHO you are reading. What you read is 100% INCORRECT. In 1 John 1,written to Believers, that we ALL sin. Just because we have confessed our sins, asked forgiveness, repented (turned from our sin), we still need to confess our sins and ask for forgiveness daily…since we ALL sin and fall short of the glory of God. The wonderful thing is we have the assurance from God’s Word we will be forgiven.

Today is the day that we celebrate one of the greatest events in human history, the death of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the cross!!! Today is truly a day of rejoicing. Because of the sacrifice Jesus made, giving His very life as the one-time perfect sacrifice for the sins of all mankind, we can be forgiven of our sins and reunited with our Lord for eternity. So much of what I deal with each day in this Devotional is to help you walk through this short journey here on earth victoriously while allowing God to use your life for His glory. However, we must never forget that this journey is very short and there is an eternity waiting for us when this life is completed.

I want to focus for a few minutes on this most sacred day to that split second when our life on this earth is finished and we are launched into eternity. Do you have the assurance this very moment that when you take your last breath that you will spend eternity in Heaven?

If the answer to that question is anything but a resounding YES, then let me just share this simple truth with you. You see, our God, our Creator so loved this world, so loved His creation, that He sent His Son, His only Son to be part of this world. Jesus had one mission in this life. It wasn’t to be a great teacher, though He was a great teacher. It wasn’t to be a great prophet, though He was a great prophet. It wasn’t to be a great miracle worker, though He did work many great miracles. No my friend, Jesus came to this world to perform only one job…to die!

You see, the reason it was vital for Jesus to be immaculately conceived and born of a virgin was so that He was not infested with the same problem you and I are born into this life with, sin. Otherwise, the best He could have done was to die for His own sins. Jesus lived on this earth for some 33 years before it was time to complete His work. That work was finished on a hill called Calvary and a cross where He hung, and then died as the perfect one-time sacrifice for the sins of this world. That is why whosoever believes in Jesus shall not perish, but is promised everlasting life!!!

Putting our faith in Jesus is the only way to be saved because it was only Jesus who died for our sins. There are no other ways to be saved, no other roads to God, there are no other plans of salvation!!! This is God’s one and only plan to reconcile His fallen creation back to Himself. This is the only way that you can escape eternity apart from the God who created you in His own image. It is through His grace and by your faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8,9)!!!

There are many incredible mysteries in the Bible. There are many doctrinal issues that will never be fully understood until we reach Glory. But God made the most important decision of this life very easy and simple to understand. He gave every person on earth the very same opportunity to have their sins washed away and be assured of an eternity in Heaven. That is why we put our faith and trust in Jesus Christ and why we celebrate Good Friday today.

The most important decision you will make in this life is not who you will marry, or where you will live, or what kind of job you will have. The most important decision you will make in this life is to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior by faith. If you have not done that yet, the Bible says that TODAY is the day of salvation. I would invite you to go to, . Pray to ask God to open your heart, read the words, pray the prayer, and accept today God’s gift to you this Easter season the gift of everlasting life through His son Jesus.

I love you and care about you deeply. For those of you who already know Christ as your Savior, I would encourage you to forward this email to someone that you know who is lost and without hope this Easter. What better gift to give someone than the opportunity to know Jesus as their Savior and God’s free gift of everlasting life when this journey through life is over. I pray that you will take time today to focus on what Jesus did on that cross some 2,000 years ago. Because of His obedience our sins can be forgiven and we can have everlasting life!!!

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller

(1 Corinthians 11:23-34)

***ASK BILL: Pastor Bill, what are your thoughts on the “blood moons,” and is there really going to be a cataclysmic event in Israel as several well known pastors are saying will occur because of this?

ANSWER: I did a full Daily Devotional on this last week, here is the link: ( ). Last I checked, the first of the 4 “blood moons” occurred very early Tuesday morning. A wonderful cosmic sight, but nothing more. Of course, those who have compromised themselves hyping this cosmic event as something more that that, will claim any big event in Israel over the next two years is because of the “blood moon,” when in fact, there are ALWAYS big events occurring in Israel and the “blood moons” is simply the latest Y2K, Jesus is returning on this date, hype for those who promote it to sell books and DVDs. Please READ the Daily Devotional on this issue to educate yourself and not fall for the hype!

Communion. Today is what is known as Maundy Thursday, the night of the Last Supper. Communion is that wonderful act of remembering the sacrifice Jesus made as He literally gave His life for the sins of all mankind. There has been much confusion and poor teaching about this wonderful time when a follower of Jesus Christ fulfills the command the Lord gave to His followers to remember Him by partaking of the bread and wine, re-enacting that moment He shared with His disciples in the Upper Room during the Last Supper.

When we’re dealing with anything, our final authority in all matters is not “man-made traditions” but the Bible! The primary scripture that deals with communion is found in Paul’s first letter to the Church of Corinth, in the 11th chapter. This passage refers back to the words of Jesus on the night of the Last Supper with His disciples.

On that night, our Lord broke the bread and said, “This is my body which is broken for you. This do in remembrance of Me.” After dinner was over, Jesus took the cup and told His disciples, ” This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” You see, Jesus knew what was about to happen. Jesus knew that in just a few hours He would be going to the cross to shed His precious blood and give His life as the one-time, perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world.

What Jesus did that night was give all of those who would follow Him a way of remembering His finished work on the cross. This is Easter or Resurrection week. It’s that time of year Believers worldwide will reflect on the great sacrifice Christ made for us. We remember the Last Supper. We remember that time in the Garden of Gethsemane where he would be betrayed by Judas. We remember his trial before Pontius Pilate. We remember how our Lord was beaten, scourged, mocked, spat upon, and eventually nailed to the cross where He hung and died.

The fact is, we need to remember Christ’s sacrifice for us more than just during the Easter season. That is the wonderful thing about communion. It allows us to take time and reflect, to remember the price Jesus paid for our salvation and the greatest event in human history when God raised Him from the dead on that Sunday!!!

One of the controversies regarding communion is how often a Believer should participate in this act of remembrance. Jesus simply said to do it in remembrance of me, and even used the word “often.” The Bible doesn’t give us a specific time period, once a day, once a week, or once a month. It really becomes an issue each Believer needs to pray about and let the Holy Spirit guide you.

Most churches have communion once a month. I know of some churches who observe communion every week. The Roman Catholic church celebrates communion at every mass. Again, there is no Biblical mandate how often to take communion. My personal belief is that every Believer should take communion at least once a month to never go too many days without remembering the price Christ paid for our salvation.

Another controversial issue surrounding communion is who is supposed to take communion. In most churches, everyone present is invited to take communion. That is WRONG! The Bible is very clear regarding who should and should not take communion. Communion is an act of remembrance for those who placed their faith in Jesus Christ. Communion is not something a nonbeliever should participate in. A nonbeliever has no relationship with Christ, so the observance of communion is a meaningless exercise to that person. The bread and wine that represent the body and blood of Christ have no special significance to a person who has not given their heart and life to the Lord.

I’ve had the honor of preaching many times over the years when communion was being served. I make it clear that communion is a time for those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ to examine themselves, repent of their sins and ask God to forgive them of their sins before they partake of the bread and wine. One of the reasons I love communion is that it is the perfect opportunity to allow people who aren’t Believers in Christ to accept the Lord as their Savior by faith.

There’s no better time to give people an invitation to know Jesus than at the time of communion! After making the decision to accept the Lord, they can then partake of the bread and wine and understand the incredible sacrifice Jesus made for them when He shed His blood and gave His life for their sins, so that they might be able to receive God’s gift of everlasting life.

Let me share this with you. You don’t have to be in church to take communion. I’ve taken communion dozen of times in my office or at home. I get a cup with some grape juice to represent Christ’s blood. I’ll take some bread to represent His body. I sit down with my Bible and read some of those great passages in the Gospels about Christ’s crucifixion, and I take communion.

You don’t need a pastor or priest to give you Communion! Communion is an act of remembrance for Believers in Jesus Christ. You don’t need a pastor or priest to stick a wafer or piece of bread in your mouth. You don’t need a pastor or priest to give you a cup of wine or grape juice. You can take communion at home, in your office, anywhere. It’s an act of remembrance each follower of Christ was asked by our Lord to do to remember Him!

It is a time for those followers of Jesus Christ to remember the price He paid for our salvation, why we are able to be the recipients of God’s gift of everlasting life. Yes, it’s a great experience when you are with a body of Believers in a church and you walk up and the pastor gives you the bread and the cup. Yes, it’s wonderful to be able to share that experience in a corporate setting with other Believers.

But you can take communion anywhere, and you don’t need a pastor or priest since this is a time for personal reflection. It’s a time of remembrance. That is why you shouldn’t go more than 30 days without taking communion since it a reminder of what our faith is all about. Jesus Christ went to the cross, gave His body as a one-time sacrifice and shed His blood for the remission of sins. That is something every Believer should never forget and taking communion often is important.

Now, let me share one last issue that pretty much is only an issue in the Roman Catholic Church. It’s the man made tradition of transubstantiation where that church erroneously believes that at the time of communion, the wafer is transformed into the literal Body of Christ and the cup of wine is transformed literally into His blood.

So when a Catholic goes to the altar to take communion from the Priest, they believe they are literally partaking of the body and blood of Christ. Again, it is a man made tradition without any Biblical support. The bread or wafer, the wine or juice, are simply SYMBOLS of the body and blood of Christ, not the literal body and blood of Christ!!!

*Note: To all my Roman Catholic friends. I am VERY aware of the attempts to use certain passages of the Bible to support this man made tradition of the RC Church. So please, don’t send me links and cut&paste postings on why this belief is supported by Scripture, since it clearly is not.

I love you and care about you so much. Communion is an act of remembrance every Believer should do on a regular basis. It is an act only Believers are to participate in. Not children. Not the unsaved person you brought to church. Believers! Communion is an act of remembrance. How can a nonbeliever remember something he or she doesn’t believe in?

Unfortunately most pastors absolutely miss this great opportunity to invite people to come to know Jesus before offering communion. There is no better opportunity in the world to invite someone to know Christ than at the time you are extending an invitation to communion. It gives you the perfect opportunity to explain WHY a person needs Jesus.

I pray today that you will not ever let more than 30 days pass without taking communion. I believe it is a very important part of our faith and spiritual journey. It is the foundation of what our faith is all about. I don’t care if you have been saved 10 minutes or 80 years, all followers of Christ need to reflect and remember what our Lord did for us. Even more important, Christ INSTRUCTED US to do this “oft” in remembrance of Him.

For the Christian, communion is a very holy, somber, special time of reflection both on our life and the sacrifice our Lord made for us. May you be strengthened and challenged each time you partake of the bread and wine, remembering that Jesus gave His very life for us, so how can we do anything less for Him?

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller
