I Often Refer in these Devotionals that Your Daily Walk with Christ is the Most Important Thing in Your Life

(1 Corinthians 1:9)

I often refer in these Devotionals and in many responses to the prayer requests we receive, that your daily walk with Christ is the most important thing in your life. You can not minimize how important that daily time in prayer and the Word is to your life. In that time of fellowship with Christ, He speaks to you, you share the struggles and joys of your current situations, you gain strength, and you stay focused on what this life is all about.

When a person “backslides” or gets caught up in things that go against what God wants, having that daily time with the Lord usually stops. Why? Because in your rebellion you know you are not doing what the Lord wants. When Adam sinned, He hid from the God he use to fellowship with. When we disobey our parents, we try to avoid them. When we do something wrong at work, we try to cover it up. When we violate the trust with our spouse, we try to avoid them. Why? Because we know we are rebelling, we have allowed sin to control us and we are ashamed and guilty.

As difficult as it may be, when you sin, that is the time to run TO the Lord. We have that special promise in 1 John 1:9 that assures us if we confess our sins, He will forgive us. The problem is, we don’t want to stop sinning. We enjoy it. As destructive as sin is, we love it. We play games with ourselves that we will never do it again, but let a little time pass, and we aren’t looking at solving the problem, but doing it some more.

Again, deep down we know that it will hurt us, hurt others, possibly even destroy us and many others, but it doesn’t matter. Let me say something very clear. SIN IS SELFISH!. The reason it is selfish is that you don’t sin in a vacuum. Your sin not only affects you and God, but it affects others. Adultery is one of the most selfish acts you can partake in. For that little pleasure, you destroy so much. There is always a cost to sin, and it is always very expensive.

One of the most important things we can do for our health is preventative…exercise, good nutrition, and regular check-ups. All of these things help us to stay healthy and avoid getting sick. However when we do get sick, do we run from the doctor? Likewise, our daily time with the Lord is our preventative spiritual medicine; however, when we get “sick” we need to run TO the “doctor”.

Your personal relationship with the Lord each day will not guarantee you don’t make a bad decision or sin, since we all sin and fall short of God’s glory. The random sins that we commit are not really what I am talking about. I am focusing more on the habitual sins. Those are the sins, and that is the behavior we can overcome through a real daily walk with Christ, since we will be under such conviction, we will be motivated to overcome our sin.

I love you, and I care about you a great deal. Don’t ever underestimate that everything you are and everything you do, flows from your walk with Christ. AS I have said on numerous occasions, that relationship with Him is the only thing you will take from this life into eternity. It is a very special relationship. Like all friendships, it must be nurtured. There is no substitute for time.

A friendship grows day by day, as does our walk with Christ. Not only should it be your top priority each day, but eventually, as your love for Him grows, something you look forward to. We often take for granted that the one who walked this earth 2,000 years ago, the one who gave us the example of how to live life, the one who went to a cross and died a horrible death for OUR sins…wants to be our friend.

I remember growing up becoming friends with Joe Valenzuela. He was my best friend. I was so glad he wanted to be my friend, and I worked hard to be a good friend to him. We did everything together. We played together, hung out, shared so many great times together. 35 years later we are still close. That is the type of friendship I am talking about, and Jesus Christ, the Lord of Lords and King of Kings wants to be your friend and share that type of intimate relationship!

I will be praying for you today. Make your personal, intimate, daily relationship with Christ the very foundation of your life. It will sustain you during the difficult times. It will give you joy in the good times. It will give you strength when you are under attack. It will keep you from falling into many of the traps the enemy has set for you. Jesus loves you, and your relationship with Him must be the very foundation of your life.

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller

You Cannot Turn on the News without Being Bombarded by All the Problems and Evil that Exists in Our World

(Deuteronomy 8:10; Psalms 100:4, 107:22)

“Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.” – Psalms 100:4 (NIV)

You cannot turn on the news or pick up the newspaper without being bombarded by all of the problems and evil that exists in our world. Each day you are confronted by family members, friends, those you work with or go to school with, that are hurting and going thru a difficult time in their life. 99% or better of the over 40,000 prayer requests that come into Liveprayer every single day are people who are in pain, fighting the battles everyone fights during the course of their life. The fact is, we are all dealing with problems every day, that is simply part of life.

The worst thing that can happen is when we allow our problems to overwhelm us to the point we forget to be thankful to God. Never forget, no matter what your problems may be today, without God you would have no hope. He is your source of strength when you feel like you can’t go on. He is your source of encouragement when you don’t see any answers. He is your source of hope that tomorrow will be better than today. It is God who loves you when nobody else does, and it is God who will never leave you when everyone else has. In the midst of whatever your battles may be today, don’t forget to simply say, “Thank you God!”

I know this message today may seem very elementary, but it is amazing how when we are under the pressures of daily life, we can often forget the most basic truths. No matter what may be going on in our lives, God deserves our thanks because of who He is. He is God! He is the Creator of the heavens and earth. He is OUR CREATOR! He loves us unconditionally and cares about us so much. He has given us so many wonderful and special promises in His Word that we can count on. So never let the cares of this brief life keep you from taking the time each day to thank Him.

I realize today as you read this, you may be facing a serious health issue, or your marriage may be in trouble, or you are dealing with a huge financial problem, or you need a job, or someone you love has recently died, or you are battling with some sort of addiction, or a myriad of other problems. It doesn’t matter what your problems may be. Take a few minutes right now, forget about your problems, and simply focus on God. Now, say THANK YOU GOD! Say it again. Again. Again. Tell God you love Him. Tell God you worship and adore Him. Forget about everything else for a few moments and simply concentrate on God and thank Him!!!

Listen, thanking God is not going to make all of your problems go away. What it will do is bring joy to your heart, peace into your life, and give you a renewed sense of hope as you face the day to day trials life may bring your way. Facing your problems, dealing with your problems become 100 times easier. You get blessed when you thank God! By getting so wrapped up in your problems and not taking the time to thank God you are missing blessings.

I love you and care about you so much. I am guilty so often of not taking the time I should each day to simply stop what I am doing and just spend some time thanking God. It is so easy to focus on what is wrong with our life, that we often forget how much is right with our life. We get so bound by our problems that we forget the simple act of saying thank you to God. Without Him, there would be no answers, no solutions to our problems and this life would have no purpose and be meaningless and hopeless.

I will be praying for you today. Do me a favor. No, do yourself a favor. Stop whatever you are doing right now. Take the next 3 minutes. That is 180 seconds. Use those 3 minutes to do nothing else but say thank you to God. Thank Him for His love. Thank Him for all the wonderful blessings He bestows on you each day. Thank Him for caring about you. Thank Him for all that He does for you each day. I can assure you that you have MUCH TO BE THANKFUL FOR! Take the next 3 minutes and spend it thanking God.

The Bible only gives us a brief glimpse of what our eternal existence will be like. One things we know is that we will be worshipping God our Creator. Now is a good time to start doing that . Each day, we must take time out of our busy lives and simply spend it thanking God. We will always have problems in this life. That is simply a fact of living in this dark and evil world where so many people live their lives in rebellion to God. But the Bible tells us that when this brief journey is over, “there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Make sure that no matter what your problems may be, that you never forget to take the time each day to say thank you to God!

Thanksgiving is a Few Days Away and Many People will be with Family and Friends

(John 3:16; Romans 10:10; Ephesians 2:8-9)

Thanksgiving is a few days away, and many people will be with family and friends. As we approach the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, this could be one of the most important messages you will ever read. I want to challenge you today to NOT sit back in silence regarding your faith during these holidays. I know you will be with family members and friends who reject the Lord and Biblical Truth. I pray the Lord gives you a spirit of boldness and courage as you take a real stand for the Lord and His Truth. God will give you the open doors, the opportunities, and I am challenging you to step up and be counted for Christ this holiday season.

I received an email yesterday from a woman that I get quite often. This dear woman was racked with guilt after one of her best friends died. Her friend had never expressed much interest in God or the Bible and most likely died in her sins and her soul is lost for all eternity. Faced with the likelihood her friend is in hell forever, the woman was bemoaning the fact that she had passed on numerous opportunities to witness to her, especially in the final months of her life as she battled with cancer.

She recited for me all the various excuses she had come up with for not sharing Christ with her friend. However, now that her friend was gone, probably in hell for eternity, none of those excuses for not making the effort to tell her friend how to know Christ as her Savior seemed very good any longer. I tried to console this woman, reminding her that the decision to accept or reject Christ is one each person has to make for themselves. She couldn’t make that choice for her friend.

Sadly, I get emails like this every day from people who are dealing with the guilt of not taking the time to tell a family member or friend about the Lord and His love for them. I want to challenge you today to take the time, make the effort, to share the Gospel with those who don’t know Christ as their personal Savior. Remember, you can’t save anyone, that is not your job. What is your job is to tell them how they can be saved. What they choose to do is ultimately up to them, but God is calling you to be His vessel to bring them the message of everlasting life through faith in Jesus Christ.

I realize that for many people, sharing the Gospel with your family members, with your friends, can be difficult. Ultimately, you are afraid of their rejection. Remember, they are NOT rejecting you, they are rejecting the Lord. How can you claim to love a person, knowing full well if they died today they would spend eternity in hell, when you have the words of everlasting life to help them escape that eternal horror and find their rest and peace with the God who created them and loves them so much? If you really love a person, you will love them enough to tell them about Jesus!

Listen my friend, the cold hard reality of this life is that one day we will each die. The Bible tells us that tomorrow is promised to none of us. Each day is literally a gift from God. Death is final. One moment you are alive, the next moment you are dead. This life as we know it is over that quick. As soon as you take that last breath you are standing before God. In that instant the ONLY thing that matters is your relationship with Jesus Christ. If you have rejected Him and die in your sins, the Bible says that you will be cast into everlasting darkness, forever separated from God your Creator. If you know Jesus as your Savior, you will be ushered into God’s presence and dwell with Him for ever and ever.

*Each person who lives this life will die and stand before God at that moment. This includes your mother, father, sister, brother, son, daughter, husband, wife, grandmother, grandfather, grandson, granddaughter, aunt, uncle, nephew, niece, cousin, and any other family member, as well as your friends, neighbors, those you work with, go to school with, recreate with, and encounter during your day-to-day life. I pray that you will never be able to look at a person in your life again without thinking about the fact they will die one day and have to stand before God. Will they be ready for that moment? Do you care about them enough to ask them if they are ready for that moment?

Let me give you an easy ways to share the Gospel with those you know who need the Lord. A short but powerful presentation of the Gospel with an invitation to accept the Lord is on this video clip I created: http://www.liveprayer.com/altarcall.cfm . This is an easy way for you to share the hope and love of Christ with your family members and friends, giving them the opportunity to make Christ their own.

I love you and care about you so much. I pray that you to make it a priority to tell your family and friends about Jesus and His unconditional love for them during this holiday season. I will be praying for you as you are faithful and obedient to tell those in your life about the Lord, and that God will prepare their hearts and minds to receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. What they choose to do with Jesus is a decision they have to make, but telling them about Jesus is a decision YOU have to make!

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller

I am Totally Convinced that Some of the Problems I’ve Had in My Life have been a Result of Not Seeking Any Other Counsel than My Own

(Proverbs 12:15)

I am totally convinced that some of the problems I have had in my life, have been a result of not seeking any other counsel than my own. Let me promise you my friend, that is a disaster waiting to happen. I have not only become a believer, but advocate of God’s principle of getting counsel as we make various moves in our life. Beyond that type of Godly counsel in helping us make decisions, there is the more intimate clinical type of counseling, and that is what I want to focus on today.

So many have been born into incredibly challenging circumstances and experienced many difficulties in their early life that have had a lasting affect into their adult life. Many in their adult life have been through circumstances that have pushed them to the limits of their ability to cope with day-to-day life. Many are born with chemical imbalances that affect their decision-making ability and just coping with life in general. I believe in my heart that God has placed specially-gifted people in the Body of Christ to help and work intimately with those who have very real problems in their life.

As in any situation we face in our life, the first step is admitting that there are things in our life out of our control and ability to deal with on our own. At these times, we should not be ashamed but aggressively seek out Godly men and women who are professionals and use Biblically-based principles in their counseling work. I AM NOT in favor of secular counseling for the simple fact that God made us, and our only way of resolving our problems are through His Word and strength. I am in no way condemning secular counselors, because they have a difficult job that helps many people get through life. But as in anything in life, the ultimate answers have to be rooted and grounded in our faith and in God’s Word. Anything else is at best a temporary solution.

Over my close to 20 years now in full-time ministry, I have counseled people for about every problem you can imagine, although my counsel was always of a spiritual nature. Once I became aware that there were much deeper issues involved, I never hesitated to refer the person to a professional counselor that could not only offer the deeper professional help the person needed, but from a Godly and Biblical perspective.

I realize that I am hitting very close to home for many of you today. For those who are not in a situation where you need this type of help, praise God. Do me a favor, and pray for those who are. Many of our brothers and sisters in Christ face many difficult issues each day of their life. They need our prayers and support to help them get beyond the issues they face in their life, so that they can be the best servants during this lifetime they possibly can. For those of you that are dealing with some deep issues in your life, let me encourage you today…it is all right.

Many things were totally out of your control and not your fault. God loves you, He cares about you, and He has placed Godly men and women in the Body of Christ to help you overcome whatever the issues may be. Take this opportunity right now to ask God to give you the strength to admit there are unresolved issues that you just can’t overcome on your own, and that He will open up the doors for you to get the professional counseling you need to help you get beyond those issues and live that victorious life He intends His children to live.

I love you, I care about you deeply, and this is God talking to you today to lay the pride aside and seek out the help you need to overcome the stumbling blocks in your life that keep you from having the peace and joy that He intends for you to have. As I mentioned, God has placed many gifted and wonderful men and women in the body of Christ to help people looking for Godly, Biblically- ased counseling. Ask your pastor to recommend someone for you, or check with one of the larger churches in your area and tell them that you are looking for a Christian counselor.

Make sure you set up an introductory meeting which is almost always free of charge. In that meeting, find out if that person is a member of a local church, is saved, and uses Biblically-based counseling methods. Don’t beat around the bush, ask these questions straight out. You need to insure you are in fact dealing with a Christian counselor that is going to be truly helping you overcome the issues in your life.

I will be in much prayer today for those of you who needed to hear these words of encouragement today. I realize that these can be deeply personal and difficult issues to deal with. My only desire is to see you become all that God has raised you up to be and know the incredible abundance this life can offer. There are many who have major issues in their life that are keeping that from happening, and I want you to know that there are answers.

You don’t have to go through the rest of your life with that dark cloud hanging over you. You don’t have to go through another day without the joy God intends for you to have. God loves you and has placed help in your path today to overcome those issues and know the fullness of His blessings. My prayer is that you pray, open your heart, and let God walk with you, putting those issues to bed once and for all that are robbing you of knowing the fullness of His love.

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller

One of the Easiest Traps to Fall into is Giving My Best Effort in Every Area of My Life

(Matthew 6:33)

One of the easiest traps to fall into, and one of things I pray about daily, is giving my best effort in every area of my life. For most of us, a big portion of our life is our job or school. We tend to spend the majority of our time and energy either involved in our work or school. How many days do you come home from work or school, and are exhausted? You have literally given everything you have, and your tank is empty.

The problem is, in addition to your work or school, you have a spouse, children, family, friends (maybe only one or possibly all) who are part of your life and need to be nurtured. How often do we come home and we just have nothing left for our wife, husband, or family? Or how many times are we too busy to spend that quality time with our children we need to? The fact is, while we often give our best efforts, give the best of what we have at work or school, and those who we love most in this life, get the leftovers. Recently, I did a Devotional on working on our job or at school as unto the Lord . . doing our best, since we are His representatives on the job site or in the classroom. So I am NOT talking about not giving our best efforts when we are working or in school. What I am talking about is the balance in our life that is so critical.

The order of our priorities is simple. Our relationship with the Lord has to be first, since who we are and what we are in this life flow from that relationship. Then come those people God has given us to share this life with . . our spouse, children, family, and close friends. Next is our job or education. Now, I realize that I may make some people uncomfortable today. Talk to the Lord about it. Why do we give so much at work or school, give the very best we have, and give very little at home . . . and usually nothing at all to the Lord. That is upside down! When our priorities are upside down, our lives tend to get upside down. Marriages get into trouble because husbands and wives don’t work at it. Marriage is NOT a joint living arrangement, but a bonding, a blending of two lives into one, with Christ as the center. Everyone is so busy with “work” that many marriages are little more than convenient living arrangements.

Is it any wonder then, why, without the intimacy and the daily nurturing, that so many end up in relationships outside the home? The really stupid thing is that if you put the same amount of energy and effort into your spouse that you end up putting into someone else, you would be amazed at how wonderful God can make the marriage experience. Because of “work”, your children don’t get the best you have, they get little bits and pieces here and there. Other family members and friends also get whatever is left over. The Lord? Maybe a “hello” as you leave in the morning or a “prayer” as your eyes close at night.

Nobody is more guilty of this than I am. I have written this Devotional several times in the last months, but never sent it out. As with all battles, we must have a battle plan. Being a very organized person, as many of you are, here is how I have worked at keeping my priorities straight, making sure that I was giving my best efforts, in all of the areas of my life. First, is my daily walk with Christ. Whether you are a pastor, in full-time ministry, a homemaker, a student, or whatever else you may do in life,

THERE IS NOTHING MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOUR DAILY WALK WITH CHRIST.

Especially for those in ministry, if you don’t have a real, intimate, daily walk with Christ, you have NO ministry. Your ministry flows from that personal relationship. I spend the first 15-20 minutes every morning in prayer, then another 20-30 minutes in the Word. I HAVE to start my day with the Lord for many reasons, but practically, if I don’t do it then, it will never get done. That is reality. I schedule my day to include time with my wife. It may sound cold, but I operate best under a disciplined schedule. I make sure we eat dinner together, do something out of the house together, and spend time talking every day. Even when I don’t want to, I HAVE to talk to my wife. Husbands and wives HAVE to talk to each other every day, and not just about the daily business. Communication is critical to a relationship. Talk with the Lord and talk with your wife. Sandwiched in between is our work or school.

How is it possible to have the energy to give our best to the Lord, at work or school, to our spouse, kids, family, and friends? My friend, in our own strength it is impossible! We can only do it in the strength the Lord gives us. We have to be aware of how important it is to keep our priorities in line. When we get our priorities out of line, we will get into trouble in one, two, or many areas of our life. It is just a matter of time.

I love, care about you, and will be praying for you today. I realize that this is a very difficult subject for many and will actually involve much conviction from the Holy Spirit, since you are so entrenched in your day-to-day lives. It is not too late to make changes, and God will help you to get your priorities in order: God, our loved ones, work/school. If we keep our priorities straight, the Lord will help us to always give our best effort in EVERY area of our lives.

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller

I will Never Forget the Daily Devotional I wrote in March of 2003 that Told the Real Story of the Elizabeth Smart Kidnapping and Subsequent Rape

(Matthew 15:9; 1 Timothy 1:7, 4:1-2, 6:3; 2 Timothy 4:3; Colossians 2:8)

I will never forget the Daily Devotional I wrote in March of 2003 that told the real story of the Elizabeth Smart kidnapping and subsequent rape. The truth of what I wrote so incensed the people in Salt Lake City, that the official newspaper for the Mormon cult lambasted me, talk radio personality Glenn Beck who is a staunch member of the Mormon cult sent me vicious emails, but when challenged refused to put me on his radio program, and our internet infrastructure was assaulted with major hack and denial of service attacks that were ultimately traced back to…Utah!
Let me give you the bottom line to the Elizabeth Smart story. The truth of her ordeal lies in the Mormon cult. What was never told by the media was that her father was a bishop in the Mormon cult and that her entire family are Mormons. Her father and family deep down knew that there was a very good possibility she was kidnapped by a polygamist who had taken her to be one of his “wives.” The fact is, young girls Elizabeth’s age in that part of the country are kidnapped to become the wife of a polygamist, this is not as uncommon as you may think. Normally, however, it is from poor families who have no voice. Remember, Ed Smart was a bishop in the Mormon cult and quickly the media machine of the cult mobilized.

The Smart family knew deep down that chances were very good their daughter was taken by a polygamist, someone who espoused their cult’s beliefs. Nine months later it was confirmed they were right. Elizabeth was taken by Brian David Mitchell, a man who the Mormon-controlled media and legal infrastructure in Salt Lake City wants you to believe is “crazy.” Mitchell is a Mormon who was ex-communicated from the main church because of his polygamist beliefs. However, Mitchell did what many polygamist routinely do, and that is kidnap a young girl and make her one of his wives.

Here is what I wrote on the 17th of March in 2003, over 10 years ago, after Elizabeth Smart was returned to her family:

“Cults have been an issue the Christian church has had to deal with since the very first church in the Book of Acts, and continues to be a big problem today. While the universalist theory is that “all good people will go to Heaven”, Jesus clearly said HE is the only WAY to the Father. This Devotional today is NOT meant in any way to minimize or trivialize the 9 month ordeal of Elizabeth Smart, or in any way minimize or trivialize the criminal acts of Brian David Mitchell that he should be held accountable for.

The nation and the world rejoiced last week over the news that Elizabeth Smart, who was taken from her home over 9 months ago, was rescued alive and well. However, in the midst of the elation over her safe return to her parents, questions are now being asked. Why didn’t she run away when there were many opportunities to do so? Why did she lie to the police about her identity when they were trying to rescue her? When the police positively identified her, why was she so concerned about what would happen to her captors, Brian David Mitchell and Wanda Eileen Barzee? The answer to these questions my friend, lie in the MORMON CHURCH!

The fact that Mormonism is a cult is not even a debatable issue. MORMONS ARE NOT CHRISTIANS! The Mormon Church is NOT a Christian denomination! Mormonism and Christianity are two entirely different faiths. The foundation of Christianity is based on the inspired, inerrant Word of God, the Bible, written by God Himself. It represents Absolute Truth and is the FINAL AUTHORITY in ALL matters. The foundation of Mormonism is based on the Book of Mormon and the Pearl of Great Price, written by a delusional lunatic, a self professed “prophet of god” named Joseph Smith. Mormon theology is also based on their Doctrine and Covenants and the words of a LIVING PROPHET!

The “god” of the Mormons is NOT the God of the Bible. In Mormon theology there can be many “gods”. The Mormon god was once a man. In Mormonism, MAN CAN BECOME GOD! The “Jesus” of Mormonism is NOT the Jesus of the Bible. In Mormon theology, Jesus was the brother of satan, he was married, he was NOT deity. Salvation in Mormon theology is based solely on good works and baptism. Despite the fact that the Mormons use the same words as Christians use such as god, Jesus, and salvation, the MEANING of these words are NOT the same as in Christian theology.

When the Elizabeth Smart case broke last summer, your heart had to break for this family whose beautiful 14 year old daughter was taken right from her bedroom in the middle of the night. This had to be one of a parent’s worst nightmares. Your heart broke for this mom and dad as they pleaded for their daughter to be safely returned to them. However, in the midst of the coverage of this event on all of the 24-hour cable news networks, I had a real check in my spirit over two issues.

I read in some of the early reports and later confirmed it, that the Smart family were devout Mormons and very active in the leadership of their church. So every time I heard them use the name of “god” or “Jesus” in their news conferences, I understood that their god, their Jesus, was not the God or Jesus of the Bible. Also, this obscure family became incredibly media savvy overnight.

The Mormon church spends tens of millions of dollars every year in promoting their cult, not to mention the fact that they own dozens of radio and television stations nationwide. I am sure that you have seen the wonderfully produced, family appealing ads that make you feel so warm and fuzzy, with the tag at the end that tells you it was brought to you by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the Mormons. No doubt the Mormon church advised the Smart family in how to use the media to help them find their daughter. Of course, I realized that if my daughter had been taken, I would be praying to whatever god I believed in, and would use every available means at my disposal to do what I could to get her back.

Now that Elizabeth has been found and safely returned to her family, the questions of what exactly happened to her over these past 9 months are being asked. Legitimate questions that seem to have no logical answer, unless you understand the MORMON CHURCH! Elizabeth Smart was raised from birth in a devout Mormon home. She was taught from birth Mormon theology. As a Mormon, she understood the concept of “man becoming god”. She understood that a “living prophet” was to be revered. This was the faith that Elizabeth Smart was raised in, and taught to believe in, her entire life.

Now let’s look at Brian David Mitchell. His first interaction with the Smart family seems to have been with Elizabeth’s mother who gave him some money after seeing him begging on the street, and offered him some work at their home. It may seem odd to invite a beggar to come and do work at your house unless you realize that Brian David Mitchell was also…a MORMON! The media of course has labeled him as a “religious fanatic” who claims to be a “prophet of god”. The fact is, Brian David Mitchell is 100% sane! He is simply a Mormon that is espousing Mormon theology and feels that he is called by his god to be a living prophet. Of course the Mormon Church has quickly denounced him since in their cult, there can only be one “living prophet”.

So maybe now you can understand that the mystery of the Elizabeth Smart case, the questions that are now being raised about these past 9 months, lie within the Mormon Church. It seems obvious that Mitchell did abduct her. However, once he did, it is also clear to me what happened. He told Elizabeth that god had chosen her to be his wife. She would be one of the wives of a “prophet of god”. While polygamy is illegal and socially unacceptable, it is STILL a doctrine and practice in the Mormon Church despite their claims to the contrary. I imagine that for a 14 year old Mormon girl, instead of being in fear for her life, she bought into what Mitchell told her 100% and felt “special”. While the media is lost in their “brainwash” and “Patty Hearst syndrome” theories to explain this, the fact is Elizabeth Smart simply went from one Mormon home to another!

I CHALLENGE THOSE WHO INTERVIEW THE SMART FAMILY, THOSE WHO WILL ONE DAY INTERVIEW ELIZABETH SMART, BRIAN DAVID MITCHELL, AND WANDA EILEEN BARZEE TO QUESTION THEM ABOUT THEIR MORMON FAITH AND THE ROLE THAT IT PLAYED IN THESE EVENTS. I CHALLENGE LAW ENFORCEMENT AND THOSE IN THE LEGAL COMMUNITY THAT HANDLE THIS CASE TO UNDERSTAND THE ROLE THAT MORMONISM PLAYED. WHEN YOU UNDERSTAND THE MORMON CULT, YOU WILL UNDERSTAND THE ELIZABETH SMART CASE!

I love you and care about you so much. My goal today is to not only expose the “lie” of Mormonism, but to encourage you in your daily walk with the God of the Bible, with the Jesus of the Bible. Mormonism and other cults are growing fast as Paul said in 2 Timothy chapter 3 said would happen in the days before Christ returns. On the surface, these cults sound wonderful. They espouse family values, they promote good works, they promote loving each other. But their foundation is NOT based on the God of the Bible, but a false god. Their faith is in in vain since there is “no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

I pray today that you will not be deceived, but hold firm to the TRUTH which is found only in the Bible. Each day I get thousands of prayer requests for family members and friends that have bought into the lie of cults like Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witness, Christian Science, Scientology, and many others. I pray today for those that you know who may be in a cult. I pray that their eyes will be opened and find the real TRUTH that is only the Bible, and not the false teachings of some man. I also pray today for Elizabeth Smart. I pray that one day when she gets older, she will open her heart and God will send someone into her life to share with her that the Jesus in the Bible loves her, died for her sins, and wants to have a personal relationship with her. The perfect relationship that she thought she found in this false prophet, Brian David Mitchell, is ONLY FOUND IN JESUS CHRIST . . . THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD!!!”

My Friend, After Over 11 Years of Liveprayer, I have Never Felt So Alone

(John 3:16)

My Friend, after over 11 years of Liveprayer, I have never felt so alone. We are on the verge of being able to accomplish all we have tried to do during these many years. I have never wavered or sold out for personal gain as so many have, holding to the fact the only Jesus can change hearts and only by this nation turning back to God and Biblical Truth could we stave off the wrath and judgment of Almighty God!

Sadly, the economic problems in our nation has destroyed the finances of 90% of our main, high dollar donors who were on Wall Street and in the real estate world, along with 3 others who have gone on to be with the Lord. As I write these words, we are at a major crossroads. Due to the economic problems of the past 2 years, we have lost over 50% of our daily donors, and over 90% those major donors who could at a moment send a gift of $10,000 or more.

Let me tell you where we are at. By 10am Thursday, November 18th, I need to have $5,000 wired to our account to cover major past due obligations. By 2pm Thursday, November 18th, I need another $10,000 wired into our account to cover severely past due obligations. By 2pm Friday, November 19th, I need $15,000 wired into our account to cover past due obligations from the first of the month. By 2pm Monday, November 22nd, I need $20,000 wired into our account to cover obligations from this month that are past due.

From day one of Liveprayer over 11 yrs ago, I have stood by faith, asking God to simply provide the resources we needed to bring His Truth to the marketplace, something nobody was doing, and the hope and love of Christ to millions via the internet, again, something nobody was doing in an interactive way. We have been faithful to that calling, and God provided many friends to fund these efforts that has allowed us to impact tens of millions of lives and see over 500,000 souls we know of come to faith Jesus Christ!

I come to you today, begging you to help me, since we are on the verge of seeing all that we have done come to fruition in not only leading lost souls to faith in Christ, but true revival coming to this nation, and a country lost and hurting turning back to God and His Truth!!!! IT IS OUR ONLY HOPE!!!

I simply need one person to wake up, to come under conviction, and wire to our account the $5,000 we need by 10am this morning. I need another person to wake up, come under conviction, and wire to our account the $10,000 we need by 2pm today. I need one or two people to make the decision to send the $15,000 we need by 2pm Friday. Finally, I need one, or two, or three, or four people to wire a total of $20,000 to our account by 2pm Monday. I have included our bank wire information below:

This is not a joke, this is not paranoia. We have put everything we have into this effort in NYC at ground zero to save millions of souls, lead the most well known city in the world to revival, and turn our nation back to God and His Truth. I have drawn my line in the sand, standing for His Truth while the “professional Christian leaders” have compromised and sold out the faith for their own glory to buy planes, buildings, cars, and mansions. I can only challenge you today, to give to this work of God that for 20 yrs has faithfully proven it is fertile ground.

Because over 2.4 million people read this daily, most feel there will be someone else to step up. The fact is, God is calling YOU to step up, wanting to bless YOU for being obedient. After 20 yrs of ministry, we have finally come to a place that sadly many could have been at before us. Sadly, they decided to build a $10 million building for 2,000 people once a week, or buy a $30 million plane, or use your donations to buy a new Rolls Royce.

Today, I am simply looking for a handful of people that want to see their hard earned dollars make an impact for all eternity, and see the nation turn back to God. Will you help me? Will you make the sacrifce? Even if you aren’t the few people who can give the gifs we need immediately, everyone can pray, and most everyone can sacrifce something, even if it is $5!

I love you and care about you so much. Do you want to do something great for God with your life??? STAND WITH ME!!! I CAN’T DO THIS ALONE!!! I am asking you today to simply pray about what God may be calling you to do to help me with this effort. I am also asking you to please forward this to every person you know, personally reach out to those who God has blessed with financial resources and encourage them to support this new work, and share this email with your pastor and ask him to pray about having your church make a special missions gift towards this effort. I will keep you posted how we are doing with our financial goals over the coming weeks and months.

When this nation was founded, it was a small group of men who risked life, liberty, and treasure to form this great union. After Jesus was crucified and resurrected, it was a handful of men who literally gave their lives and all they had to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world of their day. Over these past 2,000 years, men and women have made great sacrifices to share the love of Jesus and help lead lost souls to faith in Christ. NOW IT IS OUR TURN!

When this brief journey through life is over, what do we have to show for it? The only lasting legacy we have are those things we did for the Lord. I have taken my stand and will proclaim His truth with my dying breath. Today, I am asking you to pray about joining me and let’s turn this nation back to God and His Truth!!!

Will you stand and fight with me???????

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller
