It is Thursday

(Exodus 14:14)

It is Thursday. The end of the month is only 8 days away, and many of you don’t even want to leave the house because of the situations that you are going to have to face and deal with today. The problem is, as of this second, you don’t have any answers. Let me encourage you this very moment. God has promised all throughout His Word to fight for you.

Your problem is that you have become so overwhelmed by your circumstances, you have been trying to find the answers yourself. I am here to tell you that there are no quick-fix, easy answers or you would have already come up with them. The ONLY answer there is this morning is to commit the day and your situation to the Lord, and trust Him. We claim to have faith and claim to trust God but when it really comes down to it . . . we really don’t.

How many times are we in the midst of a crisis and we drive ourselves crazy trying to find answers when the One with the answers is only a prayer away? Now is the time to test your faith, build your faith, and exercise your faith! Let God fight this battle.

It is a shame that we have to get into situations where we have no other choice but to trust God. It would be much easier on us if we trusted Him all along and allowed Him more control of our life and decisions. We would avoid being in these critical dilemmas. But if you are in the midst of a crisis this morning, feeling like the walls are closing in and there is nowhere to turn, look to Him.

Get on your knees right now and ask God to take this burden. Ask Him to carry you through this day. Ask Him for the wisdom to get a game plan to walk through your circumstances and be victorious. He won’t let you down and He won’t leave you stranded. All you have to do is ask Him to step in. God will fight for you today!!!!

I love you and care about you greatly. I grieve as I read the terrible crisis many are in today. My goal every day is to try to give you the encouragement and words to challenge you to live the life God has designed for you, knowing that much of the pain and heartache of life can be avoided when we are walking with the Lord.

There are always consequences for our actions and our rebellion brings about a great deal of pain but God loves you and is merciful. He is always there for you waiting to take your hand and help you up our of that pit and put you back on solid ground again. All you need to do is cry out to Him, trust Him, and let Him fight for you.

I pray today that you will not let your circumstances overwhelm you, but tackle them head on. The first step is to ask God to help you then open your mind and heart and listen to Him as He guides you over the hurdles. Today is not a day to be dreaded, but a day to be excited about. It is like no other day before and will never come back when it is over. Take advantage of it. Make it special.

You can never do it on your own but with the Lord’s help, He can make that happen. God will stand with you when all others abandon you. God will always be there to love you and comfort you. God will fight for you today and every day if you only allow Him to. Make this a special day as you walk through it in victory. Take a day you may have dreaded and turn it into a day of celebration, because you have God fighting for you!

***As I come to you today, we have some very critical financial needs. As you know, we accrued over $100,000 in shortfalls during 2009 due to the downturn in the economy and a drop of nearly 37% in donations from the previous year. We have been blessed, since over the past 2 years of this economic downturn, thousands of churches and over 10,000 non-profits have closed due to a lack of funding. We have pressed hard this year and because of some special large gifts, have covered $80,000 of those shortfalls. I have been asking 4 people to make a special one-time gift of $5,000 to help me clear this up.

Due to cutting everything possible to continue effective operations, we have held our own so far this year, despite an additional 8% drop in donations from last year. It took until the middle of this month to pay off the shortfall from our August budget, so we still have to cover the last $26,000 for this month. Lastly, yesterday we had one dear family cover the $7,000 for last weeks expenses at the new “9-11 Christian Center at Ground Zero.” I still need to cover the $7,000 for this week, and $7,000 for the last week of this month. So by the end of the month in 9 days, we need to bring in $60,000 to end the month at zero, and that is all I have ever asked the Lord for from day one. Not one penny more, just what we need for that months operations.

The time is short, the spiritual state of this nation hangs in the balance, the souls of hundreds of millions of people are at stake. It is time to act!!! THE ONLY WAY SATAN CAN KEEP ME DOWN IS BY LIMITING OUR FINANCES!!!

I have but one life, and when it was over, I want to be able to stand before God and know that I gave everything I had for the Kingdom. I want to take my last breath knowing my life’s work is complete and I held nothing back in my service for the Lord. I have only been able to fight this fight these past 2 decades because of dear friends like you. Now more than ever I need you to stand with me. Pray, give as you are able in accordance with what the Bible teaches, and take your stand with me.

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,

I Have No Doubt that this Will Be One of the More Unpopular Devotionals I Have Ever Written

(Genesis 2:15, 3:19; Proverbs 13:4; Genesis 1:27; Galatians 3:28)

I have no doubt that this will be one of the more unpopular Devotionals I have ever written, but it is a message that is long overdue. I am always amused at the feminists and liberal theologians that state the Bible is anti-woman and that Paul was a male chauvinist. Nobody that understands God’s Word would make such a foolish claim since nothing could be further from the truth.

The Bible is very much PRO woman and clearly teaches that God made men and women 100% equal with separate roles to play. Paul, in teaching equality between men and women, was a pioneer for women’s rights in a day when women were viewed as little more than property. One of the roles God has called men to play is that of a leader, a role many men have failed to live up to.

Out of the rebellion in the 60’s came the women’s movement. Satan is a liar, and the lie he told to women was that they needed to be equal with men. But if you read and study God’s Word, the TRUTH, you realize that according to God a woman is already equal to a man. Men and women are 100% equal, they simply have different roles to play. Sadly, women bought this lie and for what little strides there may have been in regard to women getting a few more dollars for their work, the long term consequences have been disastrous for women, men, children, and to society as a whole.

Two generations later the results are men and women living totally outside of the roles God intended for them to have, neither really being sure any longer what those roles even are. Let me be so bold to say that we now have the largest percentage of 2 generations of men who are spineless, gutless, confused, and lost. They fail to lead in their marriage. They fail to lead in their homes. They fail to lead in their careers. They are not the leaders God has called them to be, simply followers. Worst of all, they are not the priests of their homes, having failed in this most important role God has called them to play.

To fill the void left by men failing to perform their God-ordained roles, women have had to take on roles God never intended them to have. One of those roles is a woman working outside of the home to provide for the family. The lie of the world is that women have to go out and work. The sad reality in the year 2006 is that many men expect their wives to work and earn a certain amount of money. Let me break this down for you men, YOU, NOT YOUR WIFE, ARE SUPPOSED TO SUPPORT YOUR FAMILY!

This is not demeaning women or their abilities in any way. It is not a matter of if a woman can do the same job as a man, but the fact God never intended for them to do the same job as a man! God gave a woman the most important job of all and that is raising your children in the admonition of the Lord. No matter what else you may do in your life, that is the number one job and ministry a woman will ever have!!!

Listen, I am well aware of the argument that both spouses have to work. The reality is, economics have not changed since the days not that long ago when most women did not work. It is our desires for the things of this world that have changed. God’s plan is for men to work and support their family and women to raise the children with the help and support of their husbands.

If you don’t have children, there is nothing wrong with working, but the husband is still supposed to be the primary source of support in the home. Obviously, single moms, single women, those whose husbands are unable to work, are in special situations where you have no other choice but to work. Know that God will give you the favor, strength, and ability to provide for your family.

Women, let me give you a quick word of counsel. This is why I share so often that marriage is not something to enter into lightly. Please don’t rush into marriage! It is a lifetime commitment. Heed God’s warning about being unequally yoked. Take the time to build a spiritual foundation together. Make sure that the man you are praying about spending the rest of your life with, is a man of God who is following God’s Word and willing to perform the roles God has called him to play. Like I say so often, our way doesn’t work and only brings consequences, God’s way works and brings blessings.

Also, QUIT LIVING WITH THESE GUYS! I don’t care if he is the father of your children! You can’t expect God to bless sin! Let me ask you a question. Why should a man make the lifetime commitment to marry you, when you are already living together? If you have sinned and have had sex outside of marriage and have a child or children, that is still no excuse to compound your sin by living together outside of the bonds of marriage. Remember this, a man following the Lord, living for the Lord, is NOT going to lead you into sin by living with you. A man who does is NOT a man you want to commit the rest of your life to!

NOTE TO THE MEN: Two issues I want to address. One is men who beat women, the other is men being responsible for the children they father. There is NO EXCUSE for a man to EVER hit a woman. I don’t care if she is hitting you, run away! It is the ultimate act of cowardice for a man to strike a woman, and any man who does that needs professional and spiritual help. Also, if you were man enough to father a child, be man enough to be responsible for your child. That means financially, emotionally, and spiritually. I am well aware of the various legal issues that may prevent some men from being as involved in their children’s lives as they should be or want to be. However, what I am referring to is men who have children, in and out of marriage, and then move on in their life acting like their children don’t exist. God is going to hold you accountable for the children you fathered!

The encouraging thing is everyday I get prayer requests from husbands and wives that are restructuring their lives and finances so that the wife can stay at home with the children. There has been a big move in this direction the past few years as women are going back to their natural, God-given roles of being a mother and wife above everything else. This is also forcing men to perform their God-given role as the provider for their family. For you parents out there praying about doing this, let me encourage you that God will give you the wisdom and favor to restructure your lives and finances so that you can stay home with your children. God will always honor us and help us to follow His plan for our lives.

I love you and care about you so much. I am praying today, especially for the men out there that this will be a wake up call that God has called you to be a leader. You do not have the option of passing on this role God has called you to play if you want to be the man He has raised you up to be. God has called you to protect and provide for your family. God has called you to be the priest of your home and be the spiritual leader of your wife and children. I pray today that you will take these roles seriously and ask God to help you fulfill them to the best of your ability.

The biggest problem we have in our world today is the breakdown of the family. It is God’s foundation for society. When the family works, society works. When the family breaks down, society breaks down. We can see clearly that the breakdown of our culture in 2006 can be directly tied to the breakdown of the family. There are many factors that have caused this, but first and foremost it is a spiritual issue and the blame has to start with men for failing to be the leaders God has called them to be.

MEN…NOW IS THE TIME TO RISE UP AND BE COUNTED. NO LONGER CAN WE SIT BACK AND ALLOW THE WORLD TO DICTATE OUR ROLES, BUT WE MUST BOLDLY FOLLOW GOD’S WORD AND HIS PLAN FOR OUR LIVES. NOW MORE THAN EVER OUR WIVES NEED US…NOW MORE THAN EVER OUR CHILDREN NEED US….NOW MORE THAN EVER OUR NATION NEEDS US…NOW MORE THAN EVER OUR LORD NEEDS US TO RISE UP AND BE THE MEN GOD HAS CALLED US TO BE! IT IS TIME FOR MEN TO LEAD!!!

There is a great hymn of the faith, “Rise Up O Men Of God.” Let me leave you today with the last verse of that hymn and let it be YOUR song for today and tomorrow!

“Lift high the cross of Christ! Tread where His feet have trod. As brothers of the Son of Man, Rise up, O men of God!”

So Often We Get Bogged Down in the Day-to-Day Activities of Life, that We Lose Sight of Not Only its Brevity, but the Fact that Life is a One-Time Shot

(James 4:14)

So often we get bogged down in the day-to-day activities of life, that we lose sight of not only its brevity, but the fact that life is a one-time shot. I hate to break the bad news to Shirley McClain and others who buy into the complete stupidity of reincarnation, but we were created in the image of God for this one and only journey called life.

When it is over, we will have an eternal home, either with our creator if we come to know His Son Jesus Christ by faith, or eternally separated from our Creator if we reject Christ. The point I want to drive home today is that this is it. This is our life. This is not a dress rehearsal. There are no do-overs. We need to make the most of this time God has given us.

It is human nature not to think much about death, our own mortality. We tend to dwell on it more as we get older, since it becomes more of reality. As we go through life, we see our grandparents die, our parents, other family members, friends, and those we know pass away. At those times, we are reminded that we too will one day die, although we try not to think about it very long.

In addition to being reminded at times how brief life is, we often pause at different points to see where we are in life, look back to where we have been, and look ahead to where we want to go. Again, as we get older, we become aware that this time on earth, this life, really does pass quickly. Can you believe the year 2010 is almost behind us? It is at these times of reflection when it becomes apparent how much of our life we squander and don’t take advantage of. Remember this, today is a day like none other, and when it is gone, it is never coming back.

I want you to take 15-20 minutes today, get alone by yourself, take a pad of paper, and write down the things you are happy about in your life today, and the things you are not happy about. For this exercise, we are not going to even deal with the past, since it is past. It is behind you. You can’t go back and relive the past, so let’s focus on what you can change. That is today and tomorrow.

Now, list the things you want to do in the next week, next month, 6 months, and a year. Write them down. I want you to not only write them, but see the words and reflect on them. You see my friend, you are never going to be able to maximize your life and take full advantage of it, unless you have goals set and a plan to achieve those goals. Life is far too precious to waste, to let slip through our fingers like sand flows through an hour glass. We must take each day and live life to its fullest.

Of course, for this to make sense, for it to become a reality, your life must be looked at in context of what God wants from your life. We must live each day with the prayer on our lips, “not my will, but thy will”. God promised a life of peace, of joy, of ABUNDANCE. When you read in the Bible about some of the great men and women, those who followed the Lord had full, abundant lives. You see, we must never forget that our ultimate purpose in life is to serve and glorify Him.

To accomplish that,we must be out there living life, making the most of each day, in a position where God can really use our lives to make a difference. The only way your life will ever really make a difference is when you are yielded to Him, allowing Him to use you to share the message of hope and love through Christ.

I love you and care about you so much. I want to challenge you today. Take the time needed to reflect on your life today. Take the time to see where you are at and where you want to go. Look at those things in your life each day that are positive, and those that are negative. The fact is, life is short. Only God knows when our time here is over.

We have no control over that. What we DO have control over is how we use each day. I don’t care where you live, what ethnic background you are, or what your social or financial status is, the one thing all of us have in common is 24 hours. Nobody gets a second more or a second less. How we use that 24 hours become the key decisions we must make each day. God has a perfect plan and purpose for your life.

Allowing that plan and purpose to unfold each day is the challenge we all face. Life is a one-time shot. We won’t get another chance. I love you and care about you so much, and my prayer today is that you make the most of each and every day God gives you. It is your life, the only one you will get, so make the most of it!!!

***(an email I got the other day)
“Bill -You & your team have really been on my mind & in my thoughts. I strongly believe you’re doing things the right way, & it breaks my heart that because you give the gospel for free – because you’re out doing things God’s way – you don’t have financial support from the American church to get out in the secular marketplace & to go toe-to-toe with false prophets @ Ground Zero. My wife & I gave a gift today which isn’t close to meeting your needs or requests, but I pray God blesses it with multiplication.

I want to encourage you – your blunt honesty & the fact you do things the right way (no professional fund raising companies, no buildings or extravagant salaries) are why we’re giving today. It’s time for me & other Christians to put our money where our mouths are & quit paying mortgages & utilities for big buildings. Please keep telling the truth, God’s truth. If the finances don’t come in, God forbid, and you are forced to close down any part of your ministry, you have done your part by being obedient before God. It would be the rest of us who failed.

Thank you for being on the front lines! Thank you for leading & feeding me spiritually, both in word & deed! I pray today that God move hearts in a powerful way and deliver far more money than you’ve asked for. May He raise up more faithful partners, freeing us from fear & making us better able to hear His commands and then, more importantly, obey them. I realized about a month ago that you are my preacher. Thank you for the daily word. I promise I will lift you up in prayer & give financially to LivePrayer. I pray our Lord bless you & keep you. In God’s love.”

As we wind down the last 10 days of the month, we still have $33,000 to cover the balance of our September budget, plus it is critical we pay off the last $20,000 of our 2009 shortfall. In addition, we still need to cover the $7,000 for last weeks 9-11 Christian Center operations and the $7,000 for this week and next. So that is $67,000 we need to raise over these last 10 days.

The Real Story of the Imam of the Victory Mosque at Ground Zero Feisal Rauf and the Islamisation of the United States

(2 Corinthians 11:14,15)

THIS IS PERHAPS THE MOST COMPREHENSIVE AND ENLIGHTENED LOOK INTO THE PROPOSED VICTORY MOSQUE BY GROUND ZERO, THE PLANS OF THE MAN HEADING THE PROPOSED MOSQUE, IMAM FEISAL RAUF, AND THE OVERALL GOAL FOR THE ISLAMISATION OF THE UNITED STATES. PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO EVERY PERSON YOU KNOW AND ENCOURAGE THEM TO DO LIKEWISE. POST THIS ON YOUR FACEBOOK AND OTHER SOCIAL NETWORKING SIGHTS. THIS IS A MESSAGE ALL AMERICAN’S MUST READ AND UNDERSTAND!

“And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.” 2 Corinthians 11:14,15

The real story of the Imam of the “victory mosque at ground zero,” Feisal Rauf, and the Islamisation of the United States! As God led us three months ago to create the “9-11 Christian Center at Ground Zero,” as a bold, visible, and ongoing response to the proposed victory mosque near that hallowed ground, I quickly educated myself on the people who owned the building, the leader of this new proposed mosque, as well as the deeper issue of the strategy Muslims were incorporating in the United States to become a significant part of the mainstream culture.

After three weeks of Sunday services at the “9-11 Christian Center at Ground Zero” at the NY Marriott by ground zero, and in preparation for opening our permanent home January 1st there, I have come to some solid conclusions about the proposed victory mosque by ground zero and the man who is heading the project, Imam Feisal Rauf. The fact is, this whole project has been one huge scam by the real estate developers and Rauf. There will NEVER be a mosque built at that location!

The owner of the building is front man, who just one year ago was waiting tables, and now “owns” over $50 million of New York real estate, including the building they propose to build the super mosque/swimming pool/smoothie bar/community center/inter-faith chapel, or whatever they are calling the project this week. Investigative reporting has uncovered his money man is an Egyptian-born man who has in the past supported terror groups.

Donald Trump defined their intentions when he offered them the price of the building plus a hefty 25% profit, pretty significant in a down real estate market. His offer was flatly refused as not being enough money, and I agree with his assessment that they are simply holding out for someone to buy the building at a ridiculous price to stop the project from going forward. Time will tell whether such a buyer materializes or not, but one thing is certain, the building owners would sell in a moment for a huge profit, and if they ever get such a deal, there will be no mosque built there!

Even if a buyer for the building doesn’t come forward, there will still never be a mosque built in that building. The fact is, Rauf has NEVER raised $100 million dollars in his life and there is nothing to suggest he has the ability to even come close to raising such an amount of money.

Rauf is a confirmed slumlord, based on his legal issues stemming from buildings he owns in New Jersey that have received numerous citations and are currently in litigation by tenants for his failure to perform even the most basic maintenance problems. This has much to say about his character.

Rauf claims he is a bridge builder. Let me ask you a question. If you were a Muslim and a bridge builder, is putting a victory mosque 600 yards from the site where your Muslim brothers killed 3,000 innocent souls in the greatest act of terror on US soil how you would try to build bridges?

Rauf is currently raising money nationally and internationally for his “ground zero victory mosque,” and I predict that in the end, either the building will be sold or he will announce that he is abandoning the project for a host of reasons. Of course by this time, he will have raised millions of dollars from the Islamic community as well as sympathizers, and his organization will pocket those funds and move on.

There is no doubt in my mind this man is nothing but a con artist who has played the United States government over the years, and is masterfully using this issue to not only pocket millions of dollars, but up the ante in ongoing goal by Muslims in the Islamisation of the United States. Muslims have actually stolen the playbook from the pro-homosexual movement in the United States, that 30 years ago set as its’ goal making homosexuality part of the mainstream of culture, and has clearly succeeded in that goal.

They accomplished this by creating watch-dog groups who attacked anyone who spoke out against their deviant choice of sexual relations as homophobes, hate mongers, intolerant, and other derogatory names to silence their critics. They infiltrated the media to project homosexuality as a wonderful lifestyle choice. They targeted school children of every age to brainwash them there is nothing wrong with homosexual behavior. They set up political action groups to change and create laws to make them a special class of people with special rights. They have been extremely successful in accomplishing ALL of these goals!

Islam is now following the same road. They have watch-dog groups like CAIR who attacks anyone like myself, Michael Savage, and others who tell people the truth about Islam. They are currently working on infiltrating the media to make Muslims look like sympathetic figures. They are targeting school children of every age to brainwash them that Islam is a wonderful relgion of peace. They have many political actions groups who are working on creating laws to make Muslims a special class of people with special rights.

The problem is this. Islam has a very visible and documented 1400 year history of propagating hatred, violence, and death. This is indisputable. Since 9/11, there have been nearly 16,000 acts of terror worldwide committed by Muslims. Since 9/11, all of the thwarted acts of terror here in the United States have had one common thread, ISLAM. Many argue Christian commit acts of terror like the bombing of abortion clinics. The difference is that when people commit those acts in the name of Christianity, they are acting in opposition to what the Bible teaches, however when people commit acts of terror in the name is Islam, this is EXACTLY what the Qu’ran teaches!

Sharia Law that governs Islam, is archaic and barbaric. However, you will never hear Rauf or any Muslim denounce Sharia Law. You will also never hear any Muslim leader denouncing the never ending acts of terror around the world, only excuses for why those acts are carried out, much like Rauf called the United States complicit for what happened on 9/11.

Over the 1400 year history of Islam and according to the Qu’ran, Islam has always had the goal of turning every nation on earth into an Islamic nation. If anyone doubts this goal regarding the United States, you better wake up. Of course they will all deny this is their ultimate goal, but this is NOT what they teach in their mosques. By the way, there is no Islam in Malaysia, Islam in Iraq, Islam in Pakistan, and Islam in the United States. Islam is Islam everywhere in the world, and to be lulled into sleep thinking there is some “peaceful,’ or “moderate” form of Islam that is taught here is pure foolishness.

I love you and care about you so much. The bottom line is in the end, the owners of the building where the proposed victory mosque is to be built and/or Rauf will walk away one day soon with millions of dollars. There will be no victory mosque by ground zero. That has all been a cleverly orchestrated con game by Rauf and the owners of the building. By the way, they are free to sue me for libel or slander if they feel anything I have said is not 100% true, but I won’t be holding my breath for that to happen.

Fortunately, the Islamisation of the United States has just begun. We can either sit back and watch it happen, or speak out and not let this religion of hatred, violence, and death become a dominate force in our culture. That will remain to be seen. As a Christian, and one who ministers to over 2.4 million people worldwide daily, I can only close by saying that we must continue to share with this lost world the hope and love of Jesus Christ and let all people, including the 1.3 billion worldwide who have bought into the lies of Islam, that faith in Jesus who was and is God, is the only hope for each man and for our world.

How Often Do We Pray but Never Really Expect Anything to Happen

(Isaiah 65:24)

How often do we pray, but never really expect anything to happen? Praying for many has become almost like a superstition. How many pray with confidence? How many pray expecting God to answer? You see, prayer works because God gave us this way to communicate with Him. We do it almost as a chore at times. We do it usually when we have failed and we don’t have any other answers. Prayer should never be the last resort, but the first option.

So many emails I get each day state that God doesn’t hear their prayers. God isn’t answering them. First of all, God’s timing is not our timing. Many times you are praying and God is trying to answer in a different way. Prayer is not like buying a lottery ticket. If your number doesn’t come up, you lose. God ALWAYS hears your prayers, and God ALWAYS answers your prayers. Maybe not in the time frame you want, or in the way you want, but God does answer.

The problems I find with most people’s prayer lives is the unrealistic expectations they have. In so many cases, their own rebellion and disobedience has put them in a difficult situation. Now they run to God like He is a genie in the bottle, expecting everything to be fixed overnight. That is not real life. Can God do it? Of course, but that is not the way it normally works.

In the midst of a tragedy, people pray, and then when everything isn’t better, they think God has not heard them or He doesn’t care. Again, you have unrealistic, unscriptural expectations of God. God has a plan, a plan that works if you have read the end of the Book. He is on the throne and in control at all times. He knows what is going on.

Can I then explain why He allows some of the horrific things that happen in the world to people every day? No. I am not even going to pretend to understand all God is doing. I do know this. He loves us. He cares about us. He promised all things will work together for good to those who love Him. It doesn’t say it will work together the way we want it to.

So if all I have just said is true, what is the point of praying? Because that is how we communicate with God. That is sometimes how He communicates His wishes to us. He told us to come boldly before the throne of grace. Over and over he exhorts us to ask, to pray, to seek Him. One thing prayer does is confirm who is in control.

Another thing it does is help us to know God better as we see Him working in our life. Prayer also reaffirms our dependence upon Him and is a way of surrendering our will for His. These are all things we need to do daily to mature as believers, to better know God, so ultimately we become more productive servants of our King.

I love you and care about you so much. I will be praying for you today, praying that you will understand better prayer and it’s power. Use the great access God has given us to Him, not just in out time of need, but every day. I love you, and am praying that today you will open your heart and let God speak to you about how you can see more results out of your prayer life, as you focus more on what God wants and less on what you want. Prayer does work, and it is our greatest weapon. Don’t neglect it.

It is Almost Unreal to Think that Someone Who is Living with their Family, Going to School or Work Every Day, Going Shopping, In Church, Literally always Being Around Many People Most the Thime Could Be All Alone

(2 Timothy 4:16)

It is almost unreal to think that someone who is living with their family, going to school or work every day, going shopping, in church, literally always being around many people most of the time could be all alone. But that is where many of you are at in your life today. Surrounded by many people but all alone.

Some of course have actually been abandoned by a parent, spouse, or someone close to you and you are feeling the pain of that loneliness. There are very few hurts and pains in this life that can equal the pain and hurt of loneliness.

Today, I want to let you know the Bible says Jesus will never leave you or forsake you. You see, even though you may feel the pain of loneliness, you really are never alone if you know Jesus as your savior. He has promised to be with you. He has promised to never leave you. What a precious truth, that as long as we have Jesus, we are NEVER alone!

I want you to understand today that though you may feel alone, you are not. Walk in the confidence of knowing that Jesus is there with you. He will love you, care for you, and never leave you. Start living in the confidence that the Lord is always with you.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE…JESUS IS ALWAYS THERE!

I love you, and care for you. I realize that many of you are in pain today because of your battle with loneliness. I pray today that you will let the truth of Christ’s presence comfort you.

I pray the Lord will bless you in a wonderful way today. Never forget, that you and God are ALWAYS a majority.

For Many People Today There is Much Pressure Just to Pay Your Daily Living Expenses

(Matthew 6:25-33)

For many people today, there is much pressure just to pay your daily living expenses. Many struggling with financial commitments they can’t meet are dealing with much stress today. In two weeks, it will be the start of another month and more obligations become due. Giving up seems like the easiest thing to do, but my friend, that is a thought straight from the pits of hell itself. Praying doesn’t seem to work. It doesn’t look like any miracles are on the horizon. What now? What is the next move?

First of all, praying is NOT in vain and is the first step. The Bible tells us to ask God for wisdom and He will give it to us. Secondly, God has promised in His Word to supply our need so we have to trust that promise and use it as the ope to move forward. Third is the very real, practical situation of unmet obligations. Every situation is different, and the dynamics are unique to where you are at. But here is my suggestion.

Get a legal pad and write down what is essential to day-to-day living. Than write down the other nonessential day-to-day living obligations. Lastly, write down all of the obligations you are delinquent on. On the other side of the legal pad, write down the income you have to work with and any income you will have during the month.

The first goal is to make sure the day-to-day essentials are met; then the other obligations for the month. Lastly, you need a plan for the delinquent obligations. Contact your debtors and explain your situation. Most creditors are only interested in getting paid, and as long as you are working towards that, will usually work with you. You need to structure based on your income…or possibly even additional income if you need to take that route…a plan to work down the past due obligations.

I love you and care about you so much. The bottom line is it will take three things: 1. Wisdom from God, 2) Discipline, 3) Hard work. You didn’t get into the problem overnight and won’t get out overnight. I pray that this has helped some of you focus on a problem we get many prayer requests about. God is able…and He will walk with you through this problem to victory!!!
