One of the Biggest Problems We have in Our Churches is Compromising the Word of God

(James 4:17)

One of the biggest problems we have in our churches, in public ministries, is compromising the Word of God to conform to this politically correct day we live in. My friend, there is no compromising the Word of God! I have taken much heat in the past from many of the subjects I deal with in my Devotionals. That is fine. However, the attacks should not be directed at me, since I am only bringing forth what God says in His Word. If someone wants to challenge whether homosexuality is a correct lifestyle choice, or honoring parents that may have abused you is proper, or eating too much is a sin, then you need to take it up with God, not me.

All I am doing is proclaiming for you what God is saying in His Word. And please, never blindly accept what I say to you. Check it out for yourself. What I share with you is coming right from His Word. The job God has given to me is not to say things to make you feel good, though I pray you will find comfort in much of what is written. But it is meant to help you stay focused on what God expects of your life, and if that is in contrast to where you are at, then you need to discuss it with Him.
I believe one of the main problems we have had in our churches over the last 30 years is the liberal theology that has infested the body of Christ. The theology that is almost Unitarian saying “if you are a good person, and try hard, help some people along the way, you will make it to Heaven.” Please hear me. That is straight from the pits of hell itself! It sounds nice, but it misses the one key element . . . our sin problem.

Jesus said it the best, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but by me.” My friend, in this day of excess, easily accessible sin, an abandonment of our morals, now more than ever the church of Jesus Christ needs to be preaching a message of personal responsibility. A message of what God expects from our lives. An uncompromising message that it only works God’s way. A message that you must die to self daily. A message that it is not our life any longer, but His. A message that does not compromise the precious truth of His Word!!!!

I love you and care about you. Now more than ever, we are living in a day when we are chastised for not being “politically correct.” Well, they hung our Savior on a cross for not being politically correct, for not compromising. That is the example He has set for us. Now more than ever, we need to follow that example. There is no room, no place for compromise in God’s Kingdom.

***OCTOBER FINANCIAL UPDATE: As we head into the last 1 day of October, we currently need to bring in just under $30,000 to cover the balance of our October budget. We were blessed to have one family send a gift of $7,000 to meet our second week of expenses at the new “9-11 Christian Center at Ground Zero,” meaning I need 2 more people to make a sacrifce of $7,000 to cover the last 2 weeks of October. Lastly, we need just 3 more to make a special one-time sacrifce of $5,000 to finish covering the rest of our shortfall from 2009. That is a total of $59,000 to end the month with all of our basic operational costs covered. Please pray today about what God is calling you to do to help me, as we take this bold, visible stand for Christ in the marketplace to bring HIS Truth to the blind masses, and the love and hope of Christ to the lost.

One of the Greatest Concerns I have about Society is the Failure to Accept the Fact that Absolute Truth Exists

(John 8:32; 2 Thessalonians 2:10)

My friend, one of the greatest concerns that I have about our society, is the failure to accept the fact that ABSOLUTE TRUTH exists. Life is NOT gray, it is black and white. It is either the truth, or it is a lie. That begs the question, where do we find ABSOLUTE TRUTH? Society will tell you that each person should each be able to determine for themselves what truth is.

That sounds wonderful, but practically speaking can’t ever work. Why? Well, what I feel is right, someone else might look at as wrong. What I think is wrong, someone else may think is right. To allow each one of us to determine for ourselves what truth is can NEVER work since the standard for each one of us is different.

That is why the ONLY source for ABSOLUTE TRUTH is God. God took the effort to give us His inspired, inerrant Word. That is where we find ABSOLUTE TRUTH. God also gave each one of us free will. That means we are free to believe whatever we want. But what one person chooses to believe will not change or alter the TRUTH of God found in the Bible.

It is immutable, never changing. It is the foundation, the bedrock on which we can live our very lives. Again, you are free to accept of reject what God says in the Bible. Why do you think those who make choices in rebellion to the truth of God’s Word will ALWAYS dismiss the Bible as just a book of stories written by men who use it for their own purposes? Those who rebel against God have to deny Him or admit they are wrong.

It is critical for each one of those who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior to stand up for the truth of God’s word in your day-to-day life. God has called us to be the defenders of His truth. Don’t be afraid to call sin sin. People will mock you, laugh at you, call you names, even strike you, but that will not change the truth.

We live in a time when the LIE is glorified, proclaimed boldly every way imaginable, and told enough times that people actually begin to accept the lie as the truth. Yet we, the people of faith, the people who possess the ABSOLUTE TRUTH of God’s Word, meekly and passively sitting by, watching, keeping our mouths shut, satisfied going into our churches on Sunday and locking the doors so nobody will hear us!!!

I WANT TO TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TODAY TO CHALLENGE EACH PERSON WHO READS THESE WORDS TODAY TO PRAY TO GOD AND ASK HIM FOR COURAGE, BOLDNESS, AND OPPORTUNITIES TO BE ABLE TO SHARE WITH OTHERS THE TRUTH OF HIS WORD.

You don’t have to preach to do this. Simply live your day-to-day life in an uncompromising way that lets the lost and hurting around you know your life is different. You don’t buy into the lies of this world. You don’t fall into the traps so many do because you are armed with the TRUTH. And when those opportunities present themselves, boldly speak up and let people know what God says!

God doesn’t call us to think for people. God doesn’t call us to save anyone. We can’t do that. What we CAN DO is share the truth of His Word with others, that is our job. What they choose to do with that truth then becomes an issue for them and God.

ALSO, I KNOW MANY PASTORS READ THIS DEVOTIONAL EACH DAY. TO MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS WHO GOD HAS CALLED TO DO HIS WORK AND BE GENERALS IN HIS ARMY, LET ME SAY THAT I UNDERSTAND THE TRIALS THAT YOU FACE EACH DAY. BUT THE ONE THING THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE TO GOD IS COMPROMISE. HEAR THIS WORD FROM HIM TODAY! IN ALL THAT YOU DO, THE ONE THING THAT YOU MUST NEVER DO IS COMPROMISE THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH OF HIS WORD. TELL IT LOUD, TELL CLEAR, TELL IT BOLDLY, TELL IT WITH LOVE, AND NEVER COMPROMISE THE TRUTH OF HIS HOLY WORD!

I love you and care about you so much. I am SO thankful for the tremendous outpouring of love that you showed to me after the case of food poisoning and car accident last weekend. NOTHING, EVER, will slow me down. As a matter of fact, it only emboldens me to do more. Your prayers and your love mean more then you will ever know. Thank you very much!

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Many People have asked Me Why I Write These Devotionals Every Day

(Psalms 88:9; Hebrews 3:13)

Many people have asked me why I write these Devotionals every day. The reason is simple. Our walk with Christ is every day. Probably one of the biggest mistakes I see people of faith make, is to treat their faith like just another part of their life. I can assure you, until you realize that this is a 24/7/365 relationship, it will never make sense to you. It will never be all God intends it to be.

YOU CAN’T SEPARATE YOUR FAITH FROM THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.

Upon accepting Christ into your heart by faith, it becomes your life. It guides and directs every aspect of your life. It must dictate what you do, how you act, how you respond to EVERYTHING in your life.

The one concept I want you to understand today, the one point I want you to completely internalize today is this . . .

OUR WALK WITH CHRIST IS 24/7!!!

You don’t stop being a Christian when you go to school, to work. You don’t stop being a Christian when you are out with your friends. You don’t stop being a Christian when you play. You don’t stop being a Christian at the store. You don’t EVER stop being a Christian. Now . . . stop for a second. Take a deep breath. Hear this one more time. You don’t stop being a Christian when you go to school or to work. You don’t stop being a Christian when you are out with your friends. You don’t stop being a Christian when you play. You don’t stop being a Christian at the store. You don’t EVER stop being a Christian. Did you get it? Do you understand the impact of what I just shared with you? Every second, of every day,

YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN, A FOLLOWER OF CHRIST!!!

Understanding that to be true, how does that now change your life? How does that truth affect each and every area of your life? Now you understand why I share so often how important it is to have that daily connection with he Lord. That daily time of prayer, of reading the Word. Since we are a Christian 24/7, it is imperative we are solidly connected to the Lord so that we can stand up to the attacks, to the challenges we will face each day in this sin-filled world as His children. As a representative of Christ, we don’t have the luxury of having bad days.

None of us are perfect, and we all fall short, but we must strive daily in everything we do to carry the banner of Christ. I say often, that your loudest witness is not what you say, but how you live. Others are watching, whether you know it or not. Your greatest witness to the unbelievers God brings across your path is how you live your life. How you handle the pressures of day-to-day life. How you respond to the trials we all face. It is at these times, others are watching, and we must let God live through us so our lights shine bright.

I love you, and care about you so much. So much of the pain and heartache I hear about each day is because many think of their Christian life as an hour a week commitment. That is a lie straight from the pits of hell itself. Our Christian life is 24/7. It never stops. We are a Christian every second of every day wherever we are. I will pray for you today to never lose sight of this fact. Never lose sight of the fact that being a Christian carries a certain responsibility. We are Christ’s representatives here on earth. We are the only Christ many will ever see, the only Bible many will ever read. This is not a responsibly to be feared, but to be embraced.

THIS IS WHY GOD GAVE US LIFE. TO SERVE AND GLORIFY HIM HERE ON EARTH. THIS IS WHAT OUR LIFE IS ALL ABOUT.

My prayer is that you pray over these heavy words today, that you comprehend them, and that you accept them into your heart. God has given us a wonderful way to serve Him simply by the way we live our lives. Never forget that once we accept Christ by faith, the Bible tells us that it is no longer our life, it now belongs to the Lord. Surrender to Him today, let Him use your life each and every day in the normal course of your daily life. Never forget, our walk with Christ is not just for an hour on Sunday morning, but it is 24/7!!!

Each Day is Precious

(James 4:4)

Each day is precious! Most people, most of the time, take their life for granted. If you aren’t battling a life threatening disease or know someone who is, death is not something you probably even think about during the course of a given day. However, every day people wake up and are going through their day, and in an instant are dead. That is why the Bible teaches tomorrow is promised to none of us, and that each day is truly a gift from God.

This past weekend, I was staying in New Jersey right across the Hudson from New York City with a dear husband and wife who have been such a blessing to Liveprayer and God’s work here for many years. Sunday morning, as we were getting ready to head to the city and our service at the “9-11 Christian Center at Ground Zero,” the husband and wife as well as myself were not feeling well. We figured out that it must have been something we had eaten at dinner the night before at a local seafood restaurant. But we were not going to let anything stop us and got ready despite not feeling well, heading into the city for our 11am service.

As we were a few blocks from the George Washington Bridge, a small truck ran a stop light and crashed into the car ahead of us. There was no place our car to go and we ended up crashing into the car in front of us that had been hit by the truck. It all happened very fast. It was over very quick. By the grace of God the driver of the car who ran the light was injured, but not seriously. Everyone else seemed to be OK. Again, it was the GRACE OF GOD since this could have easily ended in one or more people losing their life!!!

It was several hours before the police cleared the accident scene, so unfortunately I missed our service, though Pastor Danny who does the praise and worship was “instant in season” and did a great job. The couple I was staying with and I went back to their home, and for the rest of the day we were all in bed feeling the effects of a minor case of food poisoning from the dinner the night before. I had no choice but to get up early Monday for my flight back to Florida even though I was still not feeling well.

Listen, in the scheme of things, a car accident, minor food poisoning, missing a service, having to travel when not feeling well, are all fairly minor issues. I am certain many of you had much more difficult issues to face over the weekend. The key point I want you to understand is that while we do our best to plan out our day each morning, often we are faced with things that happen during the course of the day out of our control which can range from being a nuisance to actually taking our life!

We can not and must not take our life for granted. We can not and must not take each day for granted. As the Bible proclaims, life is like a vapor, a mist, and it is over in a second. Sadly, when it is over, it is over and is not coming back. That is why we must embrace each day and treat it like the gift from God that it truly is. Life is so short. It is a special one-time journey that we need to enjoy and make special each moment.

Of course, our ultimate goal in life is to serve and glorify God with our lives. Every day when we wake up we must not only take care of all of the things we need to take care of that day for our earthly life, but we must take care of the things we need to take care of our spiritual life! That is why we need to pray, read the Word, spend the quality time with the Lord, and find ways to allow God to use our life that day.

Our service is our ultimate gift to God for His ultimate gift to us….our life!!!

I love you and care about you so much. In the midst of our busy life, we can never lose sight each morning when we wake up how special each day is. It will be over sooner than anyone of us can imagine. It is a special one-time journey, a gift from God that we must not only embrace, but make special each day. The greatest way to do that is in our daily service to the Lord.

I thank God every morning for allowing me to wake up each morning. Days like last Sunday remind me of how special this life is and that I can never take, even one day, for granted. In addition to simply enjoying this wonderful journey through life despite the challenges we all face, I do everything I can to insure that with every 24 hours God blesses me with, I find ways to serve and glorify Him.

I know that when I take my last breath, when I stand before the Lord, the only thing that will matter for eternity are those things I did for the Lord. That is why I could care less about building an earthly kingdom, the trap so many have fallen into. I don’t need buildings, or mansions, or private jets, or any of the temporal things of this world. What I do need, is to store up treasures in Heaven which will stand for eternity! I am challenging you today to make this your life’s goal as well!!!

As we head into the last 5 days of October, we currently need to bring in just under $34,000 to cover the balance of our October budget. That is a total of $63,000 to end the month with all of our basic operational costs covered.

The Bible teaches us to give according to our ability to give. For some that may be a gift of $5 or $10. For others that may be a gift of $20 or $50. Still others can give a gift of $100, $200, or $500. God is calling a few people who He has richly blessed to make the sacrifice to be on of the 3 people I need to make that one-time special gift of $5,0000 and the 2 I need to make a special one-time gift of $7,000. All I ask is that you pray, and than be obedient to give as the Lord gudies your heart to give!

—>If you can overnight or wire to our bank $5,000 or more, please contact me for the instructions at: bkeller@liveprayer.com

Thank you for standing with me and for your love and prayers. Together, we are reaching and impacting lives, many for eternity that nobody else is reaching out to. The greatest mission field in the world in 2010 is right here in the United States. People are needlessly dying and going to hell for all eternity every day, the cast majority, simply because they never knew they could be saved through faith in Jesus Christ.

May the Lord continue to open the doors so we have the platform to tell this nation and world Jesus is our only answer and hope now, and for all eternity!

A Recent Study of Heart Surgery Patients Concludes that Prayer Doesn’t Work

(1 Chronicles 16:11; Psalms 91:15; Isaiah 65:24)

A recent study of heart surgery patients concludes that prayer doesn’t work! I almost have to laugh sometimes at how ignorant man can be. I’m really not sure whether I am more amazed at the folly of those who put this study together, or the fact they spent TWO MILLION FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS to do it. They should have called me. Not only would that $2.4 million been used to reach millions of people worldwide every day for a year with prayer, they could have seen first hand over that time the fact PRAYER DOES WORK!

In a recent article for a news wire service, our techs backtracked over the past 11+ years of Liveprayer and figured out that we have answered over 70 million prayer requests since we started. We currently have an archive of praise reports that is now right at 5 million. However, it is not numbers that tell me prayer works, it is TRANSFORMED LIVES!!!!

The greatest proof of the power of prayer is in the very real lives of those God has touched. I have praise reports from people who had diseased bodies and are now completely healthy. I have praise reports from people who were given only months to live…years ago! I have praise reports from people who were in bondage to drugs, alcohol, sex, food, and any other addiction you can name that were delivered and now live their lives in freedom. I have praise reports from couples who were just hours from being divorced and had their marriages restored.

THE FACT IS THERE IS NO OTHER EXPLANATION OTHER THAN GOD! GOD IS STILL A GOD OF MIRACLES AND IT IS ONLY GOD WHO CAN COMPLETELY TRANSFORM A HUMAN LIFE!!!

That is why I share with you often that your greatest witness you have to your lost family members, friends, co-workers, or someone you are just sharing your faith with is your life! They can argue issues in the Bible, the existence of God, who Jesus is, and anything else they want. The one thing they can’t refute is what God has done in YOUR life! You are a living testimony of God’s transforming power. Your life is the proof that all God says and promises in His Word is true!

Listen, it is not worth this precious time to get into all the details of the study but the bottom line is it was flawed from the start. Man is a fool to think he can put God in a box and try to study Him like he does a lab rat. Those who were involved with this study clearly have no clue what prayer is. Prayer is our communication with God our Creator. We pray because God tells us to in His Word. We pray out of our dependence upon God. We pray in faith believing God for our needs. We pray knowing that God is the only answer. Prayer is not like rubbing a magic lamp with a genie inside and having our wishes granted.

You can’t try to measure prayer based on if your prayers were answered the way YOU wanted them answered. The fatal flaw of this study was failing to recognize that one way God answers prayer is with NO! No is just as much an answer as YES or WAIT. As we mature in the Lord we see more of our prayers answered because we evolve from simply praying for what we want exactly the way we want it, to praying for our needs and asking God to meet our needs the way He wants to. As we grow in our relationship with the Lord we realize His plan is better than our plan, and we seek the Lord’s will above our own will.

Last year I was in the ICU at a local hospital praying for a young man who had been accidentally shot. He was in a coma, the doctors had little hope he would recover. I laid my hands on that young man, prayed the prayer of faith over his body and believed God that he would be healed, raised up out of that hospital bed and made whole.

As I was leaving the ICU waiting room a man called out my name. He watched the TV program often and asked if I would pray for his daughter who had overdosed on drugs and had little chance of living through the night. I went back into that ICU, I laid my hands on that girl’s body, prayed the prayer of faith over her for God to clean out her system, reverse the damage of the drugs, and made whole.

Two days after praying for that young man I got the call that the Lord had taken him home. Today, after nearly a year since this took place, that young girl has fully recovered and has turned her life completely over to the Lord. I prayed over both of these young people. I poured out my faith in praying for God to heal them both. I left that ICU that day knowing that I had done all God asked me to do and now it was in His hands. It was God’s will, it was God’s plan for that young man’s journey through this life to be over and for this young woman to continue on. The fact is, God answered BOTH of those prayers even though they both weren’t the answer I had desired.

I love you and care about you so much. The reason I felt the need to address this today is because of the incredible amount of press this flawed study has generated. Obviously, those in the world who deny God, reject His Son, and live in rebellion to the Bible will CLING to studies like this no matter how flawed they are to help justify their sad choice. They find a false peace in anything that questions the existence of God, His Word, or that faith in Jesus is man’s only hope for redemption. Studies like this simply give sinful men contentment in living their life in rebellion to God and the Bible.

The only way anyone could conclude prayer does not work is to not understand what prayer is. Based on the conclusion of this study, it is apparent they expected every heart surgery patient who was prayed for to be healed. In trying to scientifically measure the human effect of prayer they forgot the most important component of prayer…God! The fact is God does answer…100% of the time. The only way prayer doesn’t work is when you don’t pray!!!

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller

One of the Biggest Traps the Enemy uses is Getting them so Focused on daily work, that they Neglect Other Aspects of their Life

(1 Timothy 5:8)

For men and women that God has given a great amount of energy and ability to, one of the biggest traps the enemy uses is getting them so focused on daily work, that they neglect other aspects of their life. It is common to minimize and not give enough time to that daily, intimate contact with the Lord that is so critical to anyone who professes Christ as their Savior.

The other area that suffers is the responsibility to the home. As one who fights this battle daily, I can personally attest to how easy it is to get caught up in our job, our career. It is something that can happen in a very subtle way over a period of time and without any bad intentions or motives. It is a very clever trap of the enemy that I want to expose today and share with you how to avoid at all costs.

The passage of scripture today very clearly lays out how God feels about those who neglect their home. If you notice, there are no exceptions. It doesn’t say you are exempt from being an infidel if you are in the ministry. Or you are exempt from being an infidel if you have an important job. Or you are exempt from being an infidel if many people at work depend on you. God was clear and concise, that taking care of our home is a major priority in our life…without exception.

I am totally convinced in my own heart, that the reason our society is in such a bad state today, is because we are now reaping what we sowed, as far as the family is concerned, since the mid-60’s. From the free-love, anti-authority days of the 60’s and 70’s, to the “me-first” 80’s, to the self-indulgence of the 90’s….we now have a generation that grew up without the love and nurturing of two parents.

Whether it be from divorce or parents driven to succeed at any cost, our society now is dealing with the problems of the breakdown of God’s family plan. God tries to tell us in His word, that after our personal relationship with Him, the next priority in our life MUST be our home. There is nothing more important we do each day than operate as the spiritual head of our house.

IT IS OUR FIRST JOB, AND TAKES PRIORITY OVER ALL OTHER EARTHLY JOBS AND PURSUITS.

How do we avoid falling into this trap? The best way I know is a two-fold approach. I HAVE to start each day in prayer and the Word, or it doesn’t happen. It has become a discipline of mine over the years. That helps me to zero in on what is really important, and throughout the day gives me the type of God-centered focus I need to keep me where the Lord wants me to be.

Having started out that way each day, I then am reminded of my duty as the spiritual head of my home. To properly operate in that role requires sacrifice and planning on my part. I am very busy. I put in long days. But it is a priority each day to fulfill my role and obligation as the spiritual head of my house, so I plan into my day the things necessary to make that happen.

It boils down to time management, planning, and prioritizing. It is funny how we can always find the time to do the things we really want to do, the things that please us. That simply proves that it really boils down to our priorities. If we follow God’s Word and our home is a top priority, than we will find the time to provide the spiritual leadership in our home God has called us to provide, regardless what else we do in our daily life.

I love you and care about you so much. I know that this is difficult for many to read. For many, you are saying that it sounds good, but it is not realistic in your case. Let me reiterate. It MUST be realistic because it is what God has instructed us to do. Of course, I have not even addressed the issue of single parent homes in all of this, but that doesn’t change God’s command. There are NO exceptions.

One thing I have found in my personal journey with the Lord, when we are trying to follow His word, attempting to live in obedience to His commands, He will help us. Again, there may be sacrifice involved and it may not be easy, but God will strengthen you, give you wisdom, and part the seas to help you follow Him. I pray that you will read these words today, sit down and pray.

Ask God how you can fulfill what He has asked you to do in relationship to your responsibilities at home. In some cases, you may have to totally readjust your lifestyle. Again, God will help you. There are several passages of scripture that are very strong and very clear. This is one of those passages. I am praying that He opens your eyes and heart to fulfill your responsibility to your home each day.

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller

One of the Consistent Prayer Requests that I Get Daily Here at Liveprayer is for People Struggling with Doubt

(Mark 9:24)

One of the consistent prayer requests that I get daily here at Liveprayer, is for people struggling with doubt. Doubt that God exists. Doubt that the Bible is really the Truth. Doubt that there is everlasting life through faith in Jesus. These are very common and normal thoughts that ALL Christians deal with from time to time, since doubt has always been one of satan’s most effective weapons.

Since the element of faith is involved, doubt becomes a natural instrument the enemy uses to try and paralyze believers from effectively serving the Lord. The most common time doubt creeps in is when we don’t see our prayers being answered, or when something happens that we just can’t believe God would allow to occur.

I have done many Devotionals in the past on prayer. Many focusing on the fact that God answers some prayers yes, some prayers no, and some prayers are on hold for a while. It is those no answers, those prayers on hold that allow doubt to creep into our thoughts. The fact is, God is not our personal servant, we are His. He is not there for our pleasure, we are here for His.

We must always remember that when we pray, like Jesus, our prayers should ultimately be “Not my will, but thy will be done.” We pray because God instructs us to pray. While He may already know the eventual outcome and answer, we don’t. Subsequently, we must exercise our faith, demonstrate our dependence upon God and pray.

A while back, I did a Devotional on why bad things happen to good people. This has long been a stumbling block for many and has helped to cause doubt to overtake them. We often can’t understand why tragedies befall good people, often totally innocent people. Again, it is times like these that our faith must become real, we must trust that God is still on the throne. And while we don’t always understand why, we know ultimately His will, His plan and purpose will play out.

The fact is, no matter what happens in this life, it is a very brief journey. It is a blip on the radar screen of time. In comparison to the eternity that we all face, it is literally as quick as the blink of an eye. Subsequently, however long we are part of this world is not the real issue. What we do in this brief time is, since it will determine our eternal destination.

The answer to doubt of course is faith. Faith in a God that created the heavens and earth. Faith in a God that created each one of us in His own image. Faith in a God that loved us so much that He sent His only Son to die for our sins so that we could be reconciled back into fellowship with Him. Faith in a God that has given us His Word to guide and direct our journey here on earth. While we all have doubts at different times in our life, the answer to those doubts is our faith in God.

I love you and care about you so much. I will pray for you today as you deal with the doubts that creep into your life from time to time. Never forget these words today that doubt is simply a trick of the enemy to keep you from the things of God. For the unsaved, doubt can cause them to spend eternity separated from the God that created them. For the believer, doubt can cause you to miss out on much of the joy, peace, and abundance of this life.

I am praying today that the next time doubt creeps into your heart, you recognize it for what it is. It is an attempt by the enemy to neutralize your effectiveness for the Kingdom of God. Remember that doubt is from the pits of hell itself. Realize that and allow your faith to overcome any doubts that you have as you put your trust in the Lord. We stand firm in our faith because of all that God has done in our life. The same God who has saved you, the same God who has helped you overcome so much in the past, is the same God, the very REAL God, who will help you overcome any doubts that you might have today.

It is our faith that conquers our doubts, a faith in the God who when Thomas doubted that Christ had indeed rose from the dead said, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side.” Stop doubting and believe!!!”

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller
